XDA Co0kie's Home Tab v2.0.0 - Final Released

CHT version v2.0.0 bring major changes. Most of the mod has been rewritten from the ground up, every line of code has been looked over and optimized for speed. Lots of new features have also been added along with an add-on widget framework. Generally the mod is more configurable than ever.
You must uninstall any previous version of CHT and soft reset before installing this one.
If CHT was cooked into your custom ROM, install over the cooked version.
A new version of CHTEditor is also available: CHTEditor v2.0.0.0 final - you must use the final version of CHTEditor with CHT 2.0 final.
There is no backward compatibility with versions 1.x.x, so you can't import old CHTE 1.x settings files.
But you can import saved files from 2.0 beta into 2.0 final. Similarly, future versions will be compatible going forward, so you will be able to import your 2.0.0 settings into any 2.x.x version.
If you're upgrading from v2.0 beta, read this post.
Here are the highlights of what's new in v2.0.0. A full list of changes is very quite large and you should read the user manual to find out all that's possible.
These are just highlights, but I know you'll discover the details by reading the manual and of course while exploring the home tab itself
- left/right sliding pages configurable from 1 to 7 pages (separately configurable for portrait, landscape and lock screen)
- redesigned softkey area, bottom menu and tab slider (tap and hold the slider button, don't just tap and release)
- quick links can be configured in any row by column layout
- new links that are can be freely moved anywhere on the screen (free links - add from popup menu)
- free links have a slide-to-launch feature on the lock screen
- more widgets: email, SMS, RSS, weather, clocks (digital, flip and analog)
- widgets can be pinned into place and some can be freely resized
- add-on widget framework: widgets can be made by anyone and installed as an add-on cab
Requirements and Compatibility:
Manila (Sense) 2.5 on a WVGA or VGA device is required. For HVGA an additional port cab needs to be installed - see this thread.
While the mod will run on any OS version, the CHT lockscreen that comes with the base cab requires Windows Mobile 6.5 or higher to work. For WM6.1 see the CHT lockscreen alternative addon cab below.
Starting with v1.8.5 .Net 3.5 is also required. You can download it here.
The mod is not compatible with other larger Manila mods (like MaxManila or MaxSense). Smaller home tab mods (like transparency) and mods that don't affect the home tab are fine.
CHT has built in wallpaper controls so bg4all mods or the hq wallpaper patch are no longer compatible (they are built in).
Manila 2.5 subversion compatibility is as follows:

If you have any problems with this mod please report your full Manila version (e.g. 2.5.xxxxxxxx), the device and ROM you are using.
Samsung Omnia II compatibility: The Omnia II has a ported version of HTC Sense available. Because of the Sense port, CHT is only partially compatible with this device: edit mode will not work.
Instructions
Download the cab and run it on your device.
If you have a problem installing it, try turning off Sense (All Settings -> Today), installing the cab and then turning Sense back on.
The base cab contains only the English languages. If your device uses a different language you will need to also install the CHT language pack found below.
If you are running WM6.1 and wish to use the lockscreen feature of CHT, you will need to install the WM6.1 lockscreen addon cab, also found below.

Android Google Maps 6.0.2 with navigation and all roads

Installation for root:
1. In Titanium Backup, select Maps and make a backup.
2. Select Maps and wipe data, then uninstall.
3. Select Street View and wipe data, then uninstall
4. Install Google Maps6.0.2-ownhere-signed.apk
5. Go to market, and reinstall street view.(download it from the second post)
or ADB
first uninstall Maps from /system/app

adb remount
adb push /Google maps6.0.2-ownhere.apk /system/app

- Alternative installation method

Note:
For those who get the "Login Failed" message Pull down the status bar and press all three triangles and give permission then closing maps.
If you don't get the three warning triangles
1. Install original maps from market.
2. Sign in and join latitude
3. Back up maps in titanium, app and data.
4. Wipe date and uninstall maps
5. Install resign version. DO NOT RUN, reboot right after installing.
6. After reboot, go to titanium and restore DATA only.
Important : uncheck auto-update on the market!

How to get navigation voice in your own language:
1. Download Classic Text To Speech Engine from the market.android
2. After installation, open to select the language you want ($2.99) to download.
3. Go to Android Settings -> Voice Input & Output -> Text-to-Speech settings, activate SvoxClassic at the bottom of the screen, then select SvoxClassic as the Default Engine.
Notes:
- Google Navigation requires that the Text-to-Speech voice matches the phone language. You can change the phone language in Android Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Select language.
1) Download a working version of the hacked map, its corresponding original version and the latest map version.
2) Extract from all apks their classes.dex.
3) Disassemble the classes.dex (hack, original & new) using*baksmali . This will create a folder of disassembled files for each classes.dex, viz., hfolder, ofolder & nfolder respectively.
4) Use a diff tool such as meld (in ubuntu) to find the differences in hfolder & ofolder.
5) Port the diff (i.e., modified parts) in hfolder to nfolder. Please make sure that they are the same file when porting (i.e., most of the other codes should match).
6) If you realize that the hacked file does not corresponds to the new file (i.e., same file name or file does not exists in nfolder), look for some codes (in the hacked file) that can uniquely identify it and search in the folder, using tools such as grep or find.
7) Copy all files in brut folder to nfolder.
8) Edit the files in brut folder of nfolder such that the references (some function calls to the map classes) in them point to the correct classes/files in nfolder.
9) Once all modifications are ported, assemble it using*smali *which will create a dex file. Name it as classes.dex.
10) Replace the classes.dex of the new map apk with the newly assembled classes.dex.
11) Resign the apk.

GamePlaySE – gpSE 2011

gpSE is port of gp2x version of Exophase's gpSP, popular for its performance on mobile devices.

1. System Requirements:
- DB2020, DB3150, DB32x0 or DB3350 Sony Ericsson phone
- As much free heap as you can get =) (See NOTE 1)
- Elfpack installed with latest library and dyn_const
2. Usage:
- put gba_bios.bin and game_config.txt to other/gpSE/ in phone memory or card. SEE COPYRIGHT NOTE.
- Use extman+extedit to assign .gba/.bin to gpSE.elf
AND/OR
- put your games in other/gpSE/ in phone memory or card
- run elf by clicking on a game, or by clicking on the elf and choosing game from the list
NOTE 1: on DB2020 and in big-sized games on DB3150 it is strongly recommended to turn off ALL other elfs, wallpapers, flash menus etc. to give gpSE as much heap as it's possible. Some games such as GTA will not work properly (read: will be very slow) on DB2020 devices, although it does not apply to all big-sized ROMs.
NOTE 2: on 320x240 screen it is strongly recommended to NOT USE Scaling or rotation due to performance issues. Will try to minimize this problem in future releases.
NOTE 3: In current version (0.52) it is possible to save the game only by using in-game save option. Be aware that not all games have such option.
You can get non-commercial ROMs for the emulator here, although they still do require original bios.
Be aware that not all games will run on this emulator, and some other will be too slow to be playable.
Incompatible game workarounds: GTA Advance:(necessary to run) Start the game on your PC using another emulator, complete the 1st tutorial mission and save the game using in-game save option. Copy the .sav file on your phone, making sure .gba and .sav file have identical names and load game after running the rom.
There are 3 versions available, they differ in memory usage:

[M]edium - recommended for DB3150
[H]igh - recommended for DB32x0, DB3350

ThaiDai Android Loader for NeoFroyo, FRX07, Thunderbolt V2.3 WinMo 6.1

ThaiDai Android Loader is a program for Windows Mobile 6.1
(6.5 builds will not work because there is an error in writing files with Windows Mobile 6.5 which will appear when linux makes a fsck. So no support for 6.5
You can use builds like Damn Small Topix (Rapidshare works) or other 6.1 builds)
With the loader you can start Android or you can install Android without doing the usual things: no copy, no edit, no changes etc.
The setup (a normal cab-file) prepares the necessary files on your sd card automatically.
With the program you select what you want to do (install, backup, restore, change device, choose Android Build, edit startup.txt and build.prop) and press “Boot”. That’s it.
Program is installed in autostart folder and will automatically boot into last chosen OS after a number of seconds (default 100 s, you can change of course). Stopping countdown is easy: klick somewhere or change a value).
FRX07.1 build is included as default. More builds to come from tomorrow.

No CWM from Neopeek necessary.
You need 4 primary partitions on sd card (I use MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition)
All sizes here are only
- All partitions have to be “primary” (ignore warning in Windows)
- Partition 1: FAT32 (at least put folder “thaidaiboot” from zip here)
- Partition 2: EXT2, about 150 MB (used for Android system partition)
- Partition 3: EXT2, about 250 MB (or more for Android data partition)
- Partition 4: EXT2, about 100 MB (for Android cache partition)
- Size of partition 1: [Size of sd card] – [Size of 3 EXT2]
Copy content of zip file to sd card

NeoFROYO V0.1 – The Fastest FROYO

This ROM is english only and has several tweaks inbuilt.
Try it out yourself and you will be amazed of the overall speed.
Maybe I will support more languages later (have to talk to Infinimint about this -> maybe he has enough CPU power and time + nerves to compile it in each language).
Till then if you are searching for another language then move elsewhere to find your ROM.
Please use the latest CWM for NeoFroyo. There’s also META-INF.ZIP + instructions in CWM thread on how to minimize GAPPS and which GAPPS to use with this ROM.

Installation:
As usual boot into CWM and install the NeoFroyo (ZIP). Afterwards be sure to mount /system again in CWM and install also your modified GAPPS. Now reboot and restart haret and let the Beast out…
Hint: Xperia X1 users may replace libsurfaceflinger.so to get it booted up correctly as usual!

B. Before install :

Format your SDCARD make 4 Partition with recommended size:

1st partition: FAT32 (sdcard / Rest)
2nd partition: EXT2 (system / 300MB )
3rd partition: EXT2 (data / 300MB)
4th partition: EXT2 (cache / 300MB)
Be sure make all 4 partition primary

extract and copy folder npkboot to root of sdcard and put in kernel that you like (I use kernel 1295 on my Raphael and it very good).

copy FroyoB_Hercules.zip in to root of sdcard.

C. Install:

run Haret, and wait when it will be asked to press “Volume Down” shortly (!!important!! shortly) to launch

ClockworkMod Recovery or any other key to usually continue booting into Android.
Press volume Down and wait for menu Recovery.

In menu recovery choose “install zip from sd-card” choose zip from sdcard and select “FroyoB_Hercules_V2_final.zip”

Confirm installation . after installation finish, Confirm installation then back to main menu (press ok key) and
choose: reboot system now.

Run HARET again and boot into Android.

Firstly, this is Windows Mobile System from where we run the android with haret.exe.
The best room for Android is Energy.DIAMOND.29020.Titanium.May.18
After flashing you need to download ClockworkMod Recovery -Neopeek Edition V1.8 (there are instrucitons)
Then, you must download your Android Build (system) : Gingercherry V2! + Gapps-gb-20110307-signed

Another version of Automizer Group programs.
This time applies to the A1 which is above all DB2010/DB2012 and DB2020 platforms.
The principle of operation has not been changed since Automizer A2 – we will have a options to generate customization.
Since the platform A1 has less features from A2, the program may very slightly.
As time and knowledge will help i want to create a script that everyone could make a Automizer scripts and post in forum.
The program is in Alpha Release state so in the near future will be fully upgraded with Automizer A2 (translated from Polish version) on the forum SE Developer and SE-NSE.
Today is offical 0.6a Alpha version.
Simple instruction:
Want to quickly modify the settings of the phone and don’t want to play around with settings? – That’s it ! – your job is only to select the program and pressing a button – the program will do everything.
Saves directly to XML

Changes 0.6a version:

Setup CDA
Setup Clock and Messages
Setup Media files in custom and Bookmarks
Setup MMI with Shortcut’s and Activity Menu
Setup Camera and FOTA
Support DB2020
Registry settings for DB2020

How to use:
So if you want to change shortcut of left pressed key (d-pad) you will to select Insert tag in General Settings Page>click Insert tag in Shortcuts Box>Click Insert in Rocker keys box and click left. Now type your favorite shortcut from menu.ml. It’s not the end.Now we must close everything, so click close in Rocker keys box>click Close tag in Shortcuts box>and click Close tag in MMI Settings box. Now press Close customize and Save file – automatically program saves in xml file. Now if you want to check correctness open it in Internet Explorer – if everything looking good, now you can install it in tpa/preset/custom.
Developer users have 0.6a separated version program.
Automizer A2 is only in Polish version so most of you will not understand. But you can see this version here: Automizer A2 PL

We are presenting advanced widget manager for SE!
First of all: you don’t need to know about tuning, to use this!
Supported phones: all SE Phones with Flash Lite 2.0 (and newer) and screen resolution 240×320.

About SE-WM 2.0 (Sony Ericsson Widget Manager v2.0).

1. Supporting flash widgets – Up to 10 widgets on one screen, so you can have 20 widgets together!

2. Multi-screen option! Shake phone to the left -> it loads first configuration, to the rightloads second configuration,

to the front -> loads third configuration, to the right -> loads fourth configuration!
3. Ability to turn on/off widgets, when music is on.
4. Easy configuration via XML file – much optimized XML in v2.0!
5. You don’t need to reboot phone to see changes – just set WidgetManager as wallpaper again.
6. Fully configurable widgets paths and names (needed for Multi-screen).
7. Separate wallpapers for different configurations.

Installing SE-WM

1. Download WidgetManager 2.1.rar from attachment
2. Extract it. Copy whole WidgetManager 2.0 folder to pictures on phone.
3. Set WidgetManager.swf as wallpaper.
This pack (v2.1) has got included example config, which looks like that:

XML file in v2.0 is changed – older configurations won’t work with this version and new won’t work with old. [Now it's released SEWM v2.1 - it works with .xml from 2.0 w/out problem ]
1. Open config.xml from WidgetManager 2.0 folder.
2. You see:

main_settings section:
You can enable/disable Multi-Screen option here – true or false. If it’s false, configurations won’t change after shake.
screen1 section:
-wpath: path to widget
-enable: enable/disable widget – true or false
-xpos: position from left edge of screen
-ypos: position from top edge of screen
-mdisable: disable widget, when music is on – true or false
-menable: show widget only, when music is on – true or false
-Want more widgets? Add next lines, like this:

Installation:
Download the mobile installer (.cab file) to your desktop. Sync with your mobile phone and copy the .cab installer to your phone. From your phone go to Programs -> File Explorer, navigate to the .cab file and select it. The Installer should do the rest.
or navigate to http://get.mosko.mobi on your Windows Phone, choose open, the installer should do the rest.
WM6.5 CHome Plug-in
Tips:* To move between tabs you can use horizontal swipe gesture. in some cases you can also use Tab key,left arrow key & right arrow key.
* To access some friend related features, make a long press (“context menu”) on his name in the friends list. you can also second-click his icon on the black bar.
* When browsing, click the fim icon on the black bar for browsing related functions (back, refresh, zoom-in, zoom out, open in new window, close)
* Double click on black bar toggles full screen mode
* You can send the chat message by long click on hardware-enter-key
* You can copy line from chat by selecting the line, and do a long press on it. that way you can also paste text to the input box.
* If you received a chat message with link in it, double-click will open it in your web browser.
* Facebook emoticons doesn’t show on fim, but your chat companion will see it on his desktop chat.
FAQ/Notes/Troubleshooting:
touch/x/iphone/lite.facebook.com: doesn’t open the way you expect in the integrated browser, which is the same as explorer in wm6.1, so there is not point integrating it.
WAP: fb chat needs solid 3g/wifi/gprs internet connection. even if your operator allows some facebook features thru its wap proxy, not sure it will be enough to use chat feature of facebook
“Incorrect Email/Password Combination”: but you are positively sure you entered everything correctly? well, if you have special characters in your email or password replace them. only numbers, English letters and of course @ at the email allowed, also keep in mind that facebook passwords are case sensitive.
3G: some 3g issues were fixed since version 2.2.8, If you still can’t connect over 3G, check the settings on: Start->Settings->Connections Tab->Connections->Advanced->Select Networks->Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using.. You should choose your operator’s internet connection and not its wap portal.
WM BUILDS 6.5.3 / 6.5.5: THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THOSE BUILDS. internal browser might not work, and possible fast battery drain due to high cpu usage, feel free to give it a try though.
WM 2003 SE: Setup CAB will not work, unpack it and use standalone executable (fim.exe)
Smart Phones (Windows Mobile Standard with no touch screen): supported since version 2.2.7, if you have problems/comments/suggestions post them in this forum
Photo/Video Uploads: If you are having problems with photo or video uploading, update your .NETCF to 3.5
