Join us June 13 for our monthly Band of Brothers Breakfast with Christian Fellowship.

Our next Band of Brothers Men’s Breakfast meets Saturday, June 13, at 8:00 a.m. at CFC. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, fellowship, as we hear remotely from Rod Handley, Founder and President of Character That Counts, and co-founder of TGIW (“Teaching Guys Infinite Wisdom”) will promo the RBC men’s retreat in October. This is a great way to connect with other men and grow together in faith.

Band of Brothers full breakfast buffet is served in the North Lobby! All men are welcome. Register online to aid food planning.

PARKING NOTE: Doors will only be open on the West side of the building. Please park in the west lot to optimize sharing space with the Eat Loco Farmer’s Market that begins an hour after the breakfast starts.

The Band of Brothers breakfasts are held the second Saturday of each month, with Godly teaching for today’s man.

• July 11 – Join us for coffee and donuts as the cooking crew takes a well-deserved break. We will have a discussion of some key points from the G3 Summit. This will be a great refresher/reinforcement for those who attended the G3 Summit and a great way for those who did not attend to catch up on some topics.

The Hope Ministry is hosting a fun and family-friendly cookout on Sunday, June 14 immediately following the 10:45 service.

Everyone is welcome! Come enjoy delicious food while connecting with foster and adoptive families and getting to know the Hope Ministry leadership team. This event is meant to help foster and adoptive families within the church build and strengthen relationships within our church body. It’s also a great time to come and ask any questions you might have about adoption or foster care.

Hamburgers and hotdogs are provided! Please bring a snack or drink you would like to share, and bring your own lawn chair!

Join us for a churchwide Baptism Night the evening of June 14 from 6:30-8:00pm. If you have not yet been baptized, this is a great opportunity for you to do so!

Our June 14 Baptism Night is currently full, and we have reached the maximum number of people we are able to baptize that evening. However, if you are still interested in being baptized, we would love for you to fill out the baptism questionnaire so we can follow up with you about being baptized on a future Sunday morning.

This service will be open-air, outside in the RBC parking lot. Instead of giving testimony via video, each participant will read or share the 3-minute version of their salvation story before being baptized. Please fill out the baptism interest form below if you would like to be a part of this special baptism service. All are invited to attend and be encouraged as a church community by hearing the various ways God has worked in the lives of other RBCers.

We will also host a baptism class on May 31st during the 10:45 a.m. service (upstairs, Room 240)—this one-session course covers the biblical basis, purpose, and meaning of believer’s baptism. It also covers how to prepare for baptism at RBC. Click here to RSVP for the class.

If you are a senior or retiree, join us on June 15 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM for a casual lunch social. This event is a  great opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to connect with one another in a relaxed setting. Join us for a casual afternoon of food, fellowship, and connection designed simply for you to meet others in the same season of life and build community within our church family.

A delicious lunch will be provided, with gluten-free options available. Please let us know you are coming by June 11 so we can prepare enough food.

What: Our family mission team to Spain is raising funds for travel and materials. This also gives us the opportunity to do some team-building for our trip!

When: Friday, June 19, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. Drop-off is at the Quest Desk.

What’s included: Fun games, activities, music and snacks for kids 6 months – 12 years old.

Suggested donations: $25 for one child or $50 per family

Are you ready for an epic quest? The King: The Quest for the Eternal Kingdom is coming to RBC this summer!

Rising 1st graders through 6th graders can join us June 22-26 for a week of Bible teaching, worship, crafts, and games. It’s a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors. Registration is now open!

Between 250-300 volunteers are needed for Kids Camp each year and there are many ways to get involved for both youth and adult volunteers. For those with younger children, your children (nursery through rising Kindergarten) may attend our preschool camp while you volunteer.

KIDS CAMP PREP AND CLEAN UP
We need lots of hands the week before Kids Camp (June 15-19, 21) to help set up and prep for camp! We’ll need help with prepping crafts, leader and kid materials, decorating, and more. There are slots during the day and evenings as well as an opportunity to help with clean up on the last day of Kids Camp (6/26). Read more and sign up for a slot here.

KIDS CAMP PRAYER
A great way to invest in Kids Camp is through prayer… which is the most you can do! Join us in praying that God would bring many to trust in Christ as their Savior during the week. Pray together with your family, take a break from work and do a prayer walk around the office, or partner up with someone over Zoom/phone! Sign up to pray here.

On June 26-July 4 of this year, we are sending a team to Spain.

Serving alongside of an RBC missionary, we will run an English camp for local children & reach out to their parents as a means of sharing the love of Christ. The trip is open to adults and families.

Please pray as our team is forming, for unity and provision, and for the logistical aspects of getting to this location. Please also pray for the hearts of the people we will minister to and share the gospel with, for the encouragement of the believers there, and for the Lord to be glorified as His gospel goes forth.
