Here is an episode that I had no intention of making tonight. As a matter of fact, I had my schedule all set for making this podcast on the weekend where I can hopefully be a little more rested and relaxed. But After I had a web streaming service inquire about placing RBDF in to syndication and then later attempt to subliminally alter its concept in to something more befitting of their programming, I felt a sudden burst of rage and pride that led me to sit down and do this episode.

It's a mess. It is a ramshackle patchwork of tracks that I gathered up extremely quick and threw down without regard for mix or BPM. They were songs that I think fit my mood rather well.

You will also find on this episode a spontaneous track review, which, in hindsight, doesn't really come across as much of a track review at all. But it is what it is. Deal with it.

I'm guessing that since I can not reasonably predict my work schedule, the podcast will continue to be bi-weekly until I can get a grasp on the demands of my day job. Here is another in the long line of Duffman "specialty" shows, where he takes a theme and spotlights some new aspect that hasn't been explored in the world of Razor Blade Dance Floor.

Sometimes, we only have enough time to play the best song that will place a group in the best spotlight, and with new music always pouring in, we forget that there are other great tracks on the CD too. This episode takes a look at these tracks, which I refer to as "Deep Cuts." I take 3 CD's and play some of the tracks that don't always get airtime, but are just as good as the hits you hear. Hello there!

First off, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your patience and continued support of not only my podcast, but the machine rock scene in general. Without you, it would be hard for me to make this show, and for the bands to make the music.

Second, I need you all to be aware that the voiceprints on this episode are a little shaky. I came home after a 12 hour shift and decided that I was loaded with energy and the time was right to make an episode of Razor Blade Dance Floor.

The return of Razor Blade Dance Floor.

It's been a long, hot, and hard summer, and Razor Blade Dance Floor has suffered under the strain of work obligations and overall poor time management.

But luckily good friend of the show CRY0G3N has taken the initiative to hijack the show and get it back on it's feet.

Here is an episode that takes the time to look ahead, but with the recent passing of Wax Trax co-founder Dannie Flesher, it was necessary to take a look back. Because, after all, in order to know where you are going, you need to know where you have been. Here is an episode that comes together at the last minute and then takes on a life of it's own. In the middle of preparing this episode, I was contacted by Bit Riot Records to get an interview zdone with Everything Goes Cold to help promote their great new album "Everything Goes Cold vs. General Failure." This is something I really wanted to do, but given my retarded work schedule, I was afraid that I couldn't pull it off.

Long story short, we made it happen. Eric Gottesman sat down with me on December 10th and discussed the debut full-length Everything Goes Cold release, and despite the difficulties that ensued (which you will witness in this podcast) it turned out really well.

It's been a while since I did this, but a long time ago I took an entire episode and dedicated it to the great female minds and voices behind industrial rock. I figured since it has been almost 2 years since I recognized those talents, I would revisit the theme once again. Inspired by new releases by Genitorurers, Collide, Android Lust, I:Scintilla, Helalyn Flowers, Angelspit, Auradrone amd Ambassador 21, I figured the audio environment was ripe for exposing and exploiting this range of talent.

You must be warned though: I have a tendency to get a little carried away with the voiceprint sections on this show. I have a lot to say, and I definitely didn't get to say everything that I wanted to divulge.
