A quickie for the Haighters.

Well last year was REBEL8’s biggest and best. We are steady riding out the fucked economy thanks to you. Our staff almost doubled, and so did the amount of products we produced and released. All in all I’m stoked and so far into 2010 nothing has slowed down. I am busier than ever and I never thought that could happen. But I guess I just keep raising the bar for myself and for REBEL8. With every Twitter message you send me or email, it just makes me push harder and harder. We need you MORE than you need us and I never forget that. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart.

So anyway, New Year’s Eve was fun. I spent mine in San Francisco, drinking. How original.

The best part of these two weeks into 2010 had to be the Agenda show in Huntington Beach, CA. Big thanks to Seth and Aaron. Could very well be the best trade show ever. REBEL8’s own Ramon and Doug locked it down.

One of the joys of going on the road is staying at hotels and trashing them. I broke the TV in my room literally 30-seconds into me walking through the door. I guess I have a little bit of teenage angst left in me, but I’ve never smiled so much in my life as I do at 29 years old. Go figure.

My super fav thing to do in hotels is take down all the painting, photos, or whatever from the walls and draw on the back of them, then hang them back up. Suck this!

Have a wonderful weekend! I’ll be home, nursing my flu/cold, and playing Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox.

On Sunday morning I went to a mural dedication for some spraypaint work I did on a church. I painted it a few weeks again with Dan Plazma and Mark Bode. It’s the first time a church has ever blessed I wall I’ve painted. Weird, but cool.

After tattooing a friend’s neck on Sunday afternoon, I rolled up to Lake Tahoe with my buddy Justin. We hit the slopes at Heavenly on Monday morning. It’s beautiful up there.

We were in high spirits.

I had the usual option for vegetarians on the slopes, a veggie burrito and a beer.

Caught a beautiful sunset at the end of the day.

We had dinner at Freshie’s! If I lived in Tahoe, I would be a regular at Freshie’s. Props. Wish I could have had dessert at Aloha Ice Cream, but it was closed. Nice sign!

On Tuesday morning Justin and I hit Sierra, which I liked a lot more than Heavenly.

We headed back to SF around 4pm and I was safe in bed a few hours later. Fuckin’ good trip! Gotta do that again soon…
