So a few topics that need better addressing: How is this beta being done? And which territories are we not allowed to service? How is the item shop being handled? When is Official launch?

1. This will be a Beta, we aren't restricting how many can join, so it is "open" but we will be wiping when it is done so we can really tweak with things to the point of game imbalancing without effecting long term game economy and balance. If you reach level 10 during the beta on 1 character that name will be available to you alone for 60 days after our launch.

We debated doing a closed then an open beta. But the closed beta would not have answered many of the issues we actually needed to test, such as performance under high user numbers. The game has effectively had its closed beta test with 2 versions already launching.

2. Who is our territory? We are officially North America, Europe and Oceania (Australia). Places that we know there are players that would want to play here but we have to restrict access for is SEA areas and Brazil. This is unfortunate for us and for them, but that is what needs to happen when there are multiple partners servicing the game in specific geographic areas.

3. We will have an item shop, though with different prices and different durations on items from the shop. Much ado about short duration items is being addressed by making more items permanent. Mounts will be durational, but with how the systems works for them it shouldn't be much of an impact to you. Costumes by and large will be permanent so you can combine them and use them for other in-game purposes. During the beta we may open up the item shop to test out the payment processes. However, if we do so anything you buy you will receive again during the Commercial service so in effect you didn't spend anything during the Beta period.

4. Beta is intended to be ~ 5 days, and then be down about a week or so, for us to make changes and updates to make sure we are 100% ready to launch. If there is some showstopper bug or problem we will of course delay the launch to avoid putting out a problem product.

Here are the latest Bug Fixed/Changes that have been applied into the game services on 28th March 2013.

Bug Fixed/Changes

Problem that sometimes the camera view to penetrate into character’s head has been fixed.

Problem of late HP/SP update on the character information UI has been fixed.

The Error Code: 1069 inside the Kafra Shop has been fixed.

The delayed response of Ankle Snare, Claymore Trap, Freezing Trap ETC. have been fixed.

Player will now hear a job completed sound when they finished their repairing job.

The Rune Hole Puncher error has been fixed.

Deserter bug has been fixed.

Craft no.256 error has been fixed.

Problem of Huge Robberbug not dropping Huge Robberbug Card has been fixed.

Random crash issue has been improved.

Following Daily Quest has been changed into Normal Quest.▪ The Hardest Metal in the World

The correct quest information in the quest list, not showing target NPC problem has been fixed.

Monster Summon Collection system

Introducing the new Monster Summon Collection system.

What is monster summon? What does it do?
Monster Summon Collection is a summoning system by where you can summon monsters to fight by your side in assisting you to take down enemy monsters. Your summon would last for 30 seconds and would be a type of skill, the cool-down timer of your summon would be subjected to yourAchievement Progression. More of this, would be explained later.

How do I get this monster summon?

Monster Summon window is accessible from the "[" Key or by going to Main and clicking on the system Icon

Within this window all possible monster summons will be listed, their current Level, and Exp level.

How do I level or obtain a monster summon?

DNA fragments & Binding Protein can be obtained by the respective monsters. Eg, a Poring would drop a Poring Fragment.

Using thus DNA Fragment would result with a random DNA Fragment (A | T | G | C ).

As you can see that it has been updated into the Monster Summon Collection System.

To first unlock the first level of the monster you would require to fuse the DNA of the monster.

The following Window would display upon Fusing

The Item Resulted would be a DNA

Using the DNA would level up your Monster Summon, in this case Poring.
Since it has not been unlocked, the first usage would unlock it.

Congratulations, you have now unlocked your first Monster Summon. Further usage of DNA would further increase the experience of your summon.

This is the Skill Which you've unlocked to summon your Poring Summon.

Achievement Progress

Achievement Progress is a progress bar and Percentage of how many summons you have collected so far. This serves to allow you to keep track of your summon collection progression. Its other uses would also be explained in the following sections.

Monster Summon Cool-Time

This refers to the global cooldown time all summoned monsters share.

Once a single monster is summoned, all other monsters would undergo the same cooldown timer. To decrease the global cooldown further, You would be required to make progress on the Achievement Progress.

The cooldown will be decreased at certain intervals of progression and leading up to a minimum cooldown time of 30 seconds at 100% Progression.

Monster Summon Max Level

We have went through obtaining our very first summon and giving it experience. Thus experience would then eventually level our summon up. This would refer to the maximum level a summon could achieve. The highest maximum level a summon can achieve is 4 and this is done by achieving 100% on the Achievement Progress.

RO2 Mineral Farming Guide

Hi guys,

I decided to post this as I found that iron ore was so hard to farm as they scattered around the hills and filled with aggro mobs. I spent 1 hour walking around the whole Izurd map and I found the best route to farm iron rock and it gives me 8 levels after 3 hours of non stop farming.

Why this is the best route? Because they are all focus in 1 spot and NO aggro mobs to waste your pots or time to regen your health

I will update it in future once I reach new map and explore the best route for farming the rocks !

This is the where you will need to go...beside the beach
