0 A.D is a free and open source RTS game which is developed by Wildfire Games. Currently this game is still under development (Alpha phase). It is playable though there are some features not included.

Game 0 A.D is much similar to a popular game: Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, which features the battle of kingdoms in the age of 500 B.C. to 500 A.D. Through the gameplay, you will get used to three things, namely buildings such as civic center and house, units such as citizens and soldiers, and resources such as wood, food, and stone.

To gather more resources, you need to have enough number of citizens. You can create more citizens and soldiers from the civic center. Create a lot of soldiers to protect the empire area from oppponent's attack as well as to prepare for an aggression to conquer other kingdom.

Controls:

Select objects: Left click to select an object/citizens/soldier/building. Drag more than one object to select group, then press CTRL+[number] to make a shortcut. To select the group, just press the number.
Right click on empty area to move the citizens/soldiers to that point, or right-click a source (tree, stone, etc) to gather.
Move camera: Press the arrow keys, or press W, A, S, D keys. Another way is to move the mouse cursor to the edge of screen.
Rotate camera: Shift + mouse wheel, or press Q and E keys.
Zoom in/out: Mouse wheel.

Tips:

To increase the limit of total population, create some houses by selecting a citizen and then click the House icon.
