The crisis erupted late Tuesday when several thousand protesters associated with the opposition Democratic Party clashed with police in Ulan Bator and set fire to the ruling Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party headquarters, according to news reports and witnesses.

Preliminary results from the weekend election suggested the ruling party won 46 of the parliament's 76 seats and the opposition garnered 27, with three still undecided. The results have not yet been certified. Parliamentary elections have been held every four years since the country became a democracy in 1992.

She was dead by 6:35, when someone on the medical staff, flagged down by a person in the waiting room, finally approached, nudged Green with her foot, and gently prodded her shoulder, as if to wake her. I've recently returned from an Australian People for Health, Education and Development Abroad (APHEDA) fact-finding trip to the Occupied Territories. What we saw there is perhaps the longest running injustice in the world. Volumes of UN resolutions attest to this injustice, but still the occupying Israeli army acts with impunity - killing or arresting people or stealing more land, on a daily basis.
We saw Palestinians having to line up at the checkpoints every day to go to work in another town or city; often they are turned back without reason. Checkpoints are everywhere throughout the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip.

This is a tough question to answer, and whatever answer is given, it will not be agreed with completely.

Is there racism in the sports world? Possibly, but there's also racism in the REAL WORLD, which is a much bigger problem we face. After all, it is 2008, shouldn't we be done with this issue yet?

The reason this is a big issue in sports is because the media is choosing to make it one. ESPN and other sport outlets are making it a bigger issue than it really is. The problem isn't with sports themselves, but rather with the media covering them.

We need to stop believing what the media always tells, and start to learn to make decisions for ourselves.

Utah's high school graduation rate no longer tops the nation, according to a report released today.

In 2003-2004, Utah had the highest graduation rate in the nation at 83.8 percent. Racism...a very touchy subject that has caused much offence and controversy in recent years. No matter how hard some anti-racism groups try, there will always be bigots who will heckle people who are the "wrong colour."

Two 15-year-old boys and a 20-year-old man will be questioned at stations across West Yorkshire as part of the murder inquiry, police said.

Known as "Boss Hog," Mostiler drove a Cadillac convertible with cow horns as hood ornaments and, over a decade, held the contract for Spalding's public defender work. On top of a civil practice, Mostiler carried more than 600 indigent criminal cases at a time.

Mostiler died of a massive heart attack in 2000. On Friday, his defense of killer Curtis Osborne 18 years ago will be the focus of lawyers asking the Board of Pardons and Paroles to commute Osbornes death sentence.

Osborne's lawyers from the Atlanta firm King & Spalding contend Mostiler was so racially prejudiced he presented a paltry defense on his client's behalf. They will allege that Mostiler, who was white, did not tell Osborne, who is African-American, there was an offer for Osborne to plead guilty to a life sentence.
