Guess I need to start out by saying THANK YOU… THANK YOU to Discrete for being the sponsor that got me down to the southern hemisphere with some of my closest homies. THANK YOU to La Parva resort for putting on such an incredible event, treating us so well, and taking care of me both before and after the competition. THANK YOU to PeakPerformance and Backcountry.com for helping me with the trip.  THANK YOU to Roderigo and Reff for the red carpet and the pisco. THANK YOU to Pepe for the early ups the last day… and for hooking it up with the ride with Seba & Nacho. My experience in Chile was so inspiring that leaving was super hard to do. On top of everything our video won the People’s Choice Award! (This video was put together by the super talented John Roderick . . . in only 5 days)

Even if we hadn’t won an award we still would have been, without a doubt, the team that had the most fun! (The “fun” video edit to come) I laughed so hard over the week of the competition that I went horse by pretty much the third day. Don’t really know how to express how much fun I had down there and how fortunate I feel to be able to participate in such a rad event with such cool people. I suppose I’m going to have to just post a few photos and then put together a little edit.
