				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Back on home soil after a breath taking retreat in India. A trip of a life time for all, an experience like this is very hard to put into words. Each and every moment was heart opening, surrendering to the unknown, connecting deeply with new and old friends and allowing ourselves to access a deeper part of our hearts was magical.</p>
<p><span class="text_exposed_show">This retreat was all about allowing, letting go, being and connecting. Our hearts were open which allowed us to be vulnerable, vulnerability attracts honesty, honesty attracts soul connections. </span></p>
<p>Eight days on our Indian adventure all of our senses were heightened, the smells, the noise, the heat, the smiling faces, the colours it all blends into one (we are one). Fresh  Coconut and fruit stalls on the side of the streets, tuktuk rides through the busy streets, blessings at temples, long strolls along the promenade, conscious conversation, twice daily mediation practice and morning and evening yoga, what more could you ask for really.</p>

<p>For many of our guests on the retreat it was their first time visiting India which made this trip extra special. They had plenty of time to explore the South of India to take in the culture. They had heard stories from afar, India is definitely a country you need to visit for yourself. India reveals your truest nature and shows you how divine everything and everyone really is.</p>

The softness, the gorgeous big smile, the heart felt hugs and innocent eyes everyday were the same. With the presence of an angel who was so giving, she would dress us in flowers each afterno<span class="text_exposed_show">on and wouldn&#8217;t accept any money. Their life&#8217;s are so simple, yet they are all so happy, connecting with each other making Malas on the side of the road, they are always happy to see us. Traveling, experiencing different cultures enriches our soul, our group was expressing on many occasions throughout the trip how blessed they feel every time they travel and experience a new country. Each trip we appreciate life, our loved ones, family, friends, ourselves and every moment we are here in this life time just that little bit more, our feeling within of gratitude deepens every time. </span></span></span></p>

<p>We visited the temple of the mother, Matrimandir in Auroville. Matrimandir took 37 years to build. The Geodesic dome is covered in golden discs and reflects sunlight. Inside the central dome is a meditation hall (which is out of this world) known as the inner chamber, this contains the largest optically-perfect glass globe in the world. Auroville is a universal town where men and women of all countries are able to live in peace and progressive harmony. The purpose of Auroville is to realize human unity in diversity.</p>

<p>We spent two nights in Sripuram &#8211; Sri Narayani Peedam Ashram. Where we walked the Golden Temple, had blessings, scrubbed and washed down elephants, visited a recycle plant and a local school. The Golden Temple is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen, the whole group was completely blown away.</p>

Visiting Mahananda Siddhas Temple. Siddha is 85 yrs old and is expected to live too 500 yrs. He can meditate by lying on fire and has demonstrated that it is possible to live without eating food or drinking water which he has done for many years now.</p>

<p>Sunrise Rounding at Kartikeya Temple.  Rounding is a specific sequence of yoga asana, pranayama and meditation. This super powerful advanced technique will expand your meditation practice and give your body the deep rest it’s desiring.</p>

<p>India you were purifying and heart opening once again. Many blessings, enriched experiences and cherished memories in eight days for our beautiful group. <p>I am sure from reading this post you can feel the energy in the photos and through the expression of my words of how amazing this experience was. In this life time, I feel everyone must visit India even if it&#8217;s just once, it will open your eyes to a whole new world and way of life. Our retreat was a huge success and something I will cherish forever.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s fullmoon time, I thought a beautiful white light protection exercise would be perfect for you to protect your energy.</p>
<p>We are all dedicated to removing negativity and heavy energy from our lives, keeping our thoughts and experiences as positive as possible. Every day, we are all working toward this. One of my favorite ways is using white light protection. It is so simple to implement, let me share some tips for this with you, so you too can use the power of white light protection to guide your life in a positive direction.</p>
<p>To use white light protection, sit, still and quietly, and imagine a strong, protective white light moving around your body, mind and soul, and forming a shield around you to block negativity. White light protection is a simple process, but these tips always make my practice more effective.</p>
<p><strong>1. Set aside time each day for using white light.</strong> White light protection is helpful in times of trouble, but you will see it is just as helpful to keep happy and grounded when you are not struggling.</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong> <strong>Use white light as soon as you awake or just before bed.</strong> Calling on white light protection early in the morning surrounds you with positive, protective energy before you have picked up the energy of others or events. If you are not able to do this or forget, make sure to clear your own energy before using white light protection. It is a very strong shield, and if you have negative thoughts, it can trap that energy in addition to keeping other energy out.</p>
<p><strong>3.</strong> <strong>Like reflection and meditation, the longer you use white light protection, the easier it gets </strong>to tune out your surroundings and practice, but as you start using this method, try to find somewhere to sit, quieten down and be still where others will not bother you. Create a calming atmosphere to begin to get closer to the state of mind allowing for using white light.</p>
<p><strong>4.</strong> <strong>When you begin, use the meditative position where your thumb and forefinger or middle finger are touching.</strong> This is proven to send signals to your brain helping you relax, which will make the process easier and more beneficial.</p>
<p><strong>5.</strong> <strong>Use your imagination.</strong> Form a picture in your mind of light coming down and pouring around your aura. You can imagine yourself inside an egg, bubble or ball where white light covers you or picture white light wrapping around your body. Whatever image makes you feel most comfortable, go with that.</p>
<p><strong>6.</strong> <strong>Choose a mantra for setting your intentions.</strong> Look for mantras that create a sense of security or wellbeing. A good example might be, “Protect me from negativity throughout this day.” It’s really up to you!</p>
<p>White light protection is an excellent tool for shielding yourself from the negative and heavy energy we often pick up, and it can work for you in the same way. Try using white light protection before you lay down to sleep at night and when you wake in the morning. Notice to see if you can feel the power of white light protecting you during the day? 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you feeling or have you ever felt overwhelmed?</p>
<p>We have all felt overwhelmed at some point. It’s definitely not a comfortable feeling, it can be confronting at times. I know the tips I am sharing with you today, are going to be very beneficial to have in your tool box to ground yourself when feeling overwhelmed. Once you learn and implement these simple techniques, you will find your feelings of overwhelm will start to minimise much quicker than normal.</p>
<p>The general goals when we begin our healing journey are to feel confident, calm, balanced, at peace and a better sense of direction. As most of you would know when you begin the healing journey it isn’t a quick fix to feel these beautiful emotions. It can be a little rocky to begin with once you start releasing suppressed emotion and then over a period of time you start to feel more liberated than you have ever felt, you feel more confident and you have a sense of direction and fulfilment.</p>
<p>What I love about my twice daily meditation practice is no matter what is going on in your life meditation will always brings you back into the now, it allows the mind to calm and helps you to not get caught up in the story.</p>
<p>Change is one thing that can cause overwhelm, a beautiful quote and a great reminder by Lao Tzu &#8211; <em>‘Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don&#8217;t resist them, that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.</em></p>
<p><strong>5 Tips for Dealing with Overwhelm</strong></p>
<p><strong>1. Daily meditation.</strong> Implementing a twice daily practice of meditation you will feel more aware, calm and confident. You’ll gain greater adaptability in life and feel capable of meeting any challenge or demand.</p>
<p><strong>2. Make yourself your main priority.</strong> Put yourself first, it’s ok to say no. If you are feeling overwhelmed it’s ok to say no. If you are challenged with saying no, ask yourself, ‘why am I feeling uncomfortable about being honest with myself and others?’. We should never worry about what others think, if we are being honest with ourselves and respecting others whilst doing so this is all that matters.</p>
<p><strong>3. Become witness to your thoughts.</strong> Deep in your heart, know the feeling of overwhelm will pass. When we are in states of overwhelm it’s very easy to get consumed in the intense feeling, thoughts and story of what’s going on. Become witness to the story and allow your adult self to bring you back into the now, reassuring yourself everything is in divine order and what you are experiencing is exactly where you are meant to be on your journey.</p>
<p><strong>4. Make sure your energy is grounded.</strong> Grounding your energy is simply anchoring your soul and energetic body to the Earth. Check in and ask yourself, ‘Is my energy floating or am I feeling grounded?’ Check in frequently to make sure you are feeling grounded. Wear bare feet around the house, spend time in nature, meditate and complete a visualisation process of grounding yourself through your root chakra.</p>
<p>When your energy is grounded you will feel calm, confident, peaceful and clarity.</p>
<p>When your energy is not grounded you will feel confused, distressed, anxious and nervous.</p>
<p><strong>5. Listen and act on your intuition. </strong>Allowing your intuition to guide you through life’s choices may seem frightening, difficult and maybe even reckless at first, but when you learn to tap into your intuition, trust in its infinite wisdom you will find that life opens up in so many ways you never dreamed possible. Letting your intuition guide, as it was created to do, will bring you clarity specially in situation of overwhelm. When your thoughts utilise intuitive energy you are much more empowered and this will help release the overwhelm in your body. If you are constantly processing what your intuition is saying rather than what your fear is saying, you are developing strength and therefore you are empowered.</p>
<p>Always remind yourself, that this too will pass. What usually happens when we are feeling overwhelmed is there is a big change taking place, which is really positive even though very confronting at the time.</p>
<p>A beautiful reminder from the great Eckhart Tolle &#8211; <em>Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.</em></p>
<p>It’s now time to release the overwhelm and have some fun, take yourself to the movies and watch a great comedy, organise a catch up with friends or schedule your next hike in nature. Wishing you a beautiful week.</p>

<p>Let&#8217;s begin with a beautiful affirmation; &#8216;I allow myself to feel&#8217;.</p>
<p>Are there emotions from your past that you’re still holding onto? Are you afraid or confronted by the thought to feel these emotions?</p>
<p class="entry-title">Healing suppressed emotion from the past is my most passionate topic in regards to healing.</p>
<p>One of my favourite sayings; Imagine an apple, growing on a tree. What happens if a worm finds its way inside this apple? Would this help or hurt the apple? Now, imagine that the worm stays in the apple whilst the apple continues to grow. How much progress can this apple make toward becoming a healthy, ripe apple, if the worm is still alive inside?</p>
<p>Feelings do not go away until they are felt. They&#8217;re like the worm inside the apple, if you ignore the worm long enough it will cause you anxiety, depression, disease and unexplained health issues.</p>
<p>To live a healthy, fulfilling life where everything is in flow, an important step to take is becoming aware of any suppressed emotions in order to consciously release them from your body. Suppressing feelings, instead of accepting, allowing them to move through the body and releasing them, can have an impact years later in your life and you may not always be able to make the connection.</p>
<p>This is why it is so important to bring stillness into everyday. Inner stillness is uncomfortable at times, the reason being is because there is suppressed emotion that hasn&#8217;t been felt and released from the body, from childhood or life experiences that felt too confronting and overwhelming at the time.</p>
<p>Your uncomfortable feelings are beautiful, these feelings are your body talking to you. Your body is so intelligent, it&#8217;s talking to you all day everyday, giving you signs of love. The signs of love is that your body is ready to heal and release the suppressed emotion, so it can start to thrive in existence of balance, harmony and feel a deep sense of love within.</p>
<p>Are there any events or emotions from your past that may be causing negative or uncomfortable effects on your mind and body? Don&#8217;t be afraid to feel these emotions, once you have felt them layer by layer you will start to feel a deep sense of relief. It&#8217;s confronting at the start, once you get used to this way of healing you will be inspired by it. Once you start to form a new habit of surrendering to your suppressed emotion, you will start to gain clarity of the mind, more confidence and you will begin to step into your true potential.</p>

<p><strong>Using Intuition and The Harmony It Brings To Your Life</strong></p>
<p>Allowing your intuition to guide you through life’s choices may seem frightening, difficult and maybe even reckless at first, but when you learn to tap into your intuition, trust in its infinite wisdom you will find that life opens up in so many ways you never dreamed possible. Letting your intuition guide, as it was created to do, brings clear purpose to life, and with that comes greater happiness and bliss.</p>
<p>Intuition brings clarity, balance, drive and focus to your life, making decisions easier and building confidence in each choice you make. If you trust that you are following what your mind and body truly need, how can you feel guilty, unhappy or confused?</p>
<p>When your thoughts utilise intuitive energy you are much more empowered. If you are constantly processing what your intuition is saying rather than what your fear is saying, you are developing strength and therefore you are empowered. <p><strong>Your Become What You Think About. In Memory of an amazing man.<br />

<p>One of my favourite passages shared this year is from Wayne Dyer &#8211; <em>&#8216;</em>You become what you think about. If you think about giving, as God does, the Universe will provide. If you think about things being taken away, then that’s what you’ll attract. If you want to manifest your dreams, you must become a master at monitoring the thoughts and feelings you are aligning yourself with. Your thoughts and feelings become your reality, so become adept at observing the thoughts and feelings you are creating for yourself. Once you give away the focus of needing and think of yourself as consciousness, you’ll get closer to your higher self.&#8217;</p>
<p><strong>The Power of Gratitude</strong></p>
<p>One of the most important daily practices is gratitude, express these feelings as they rise and use your gratitude journal. The power of gratitude enables your life to shift into a place of ease, allowing you to flow with life instead of against it. <p>It has been a privileged to have worked and connected deeply with so many beautiful souls from all around the world. I feel honoured to have spent this time with you all.</p>
<p>The really exciting news about 2016 is that I will be holding in person <a href="http://www.rachaelcampbell.com/indiaretreat/" target="_blank">retreats</a>. I cannot wait to be able to spend this quality time with you, sharing many memorable and transformative moments that will be cherished forever.</p>
<p>Visualize the coming year as a brand new chance to live your dreams and to create the life for yourself that you crave. If we don’t make plans and set goals, we become stale. Life is such a precious gift, and we don’t want to take it for granted. Enlighten your soul, keep the fire in your belly and create the life you want to create.</p>
<p>Being an intuitive coach I always express the importance of listening, trusting and acting on your intuitive guidance. Not only must we tune in to these internal messages, we need to have the confidence to follow through and make those changes.</p>
<p>Like many aspects of life, knowing the power of your intuition and actually trusting it are very different, and many times, trusting your intuition to guide you can be difficult, but it absolutely is possible. It is possible to live the life you’ve imagined, where you’re completely in touch with your intuition, taking action on your guidance to enjoy an uninterrupted flow of joy and abundance. It is important to remember that during this time of self-discovery, it is okay to ask for help. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Where has this year gone? There is something magical about this time of the year. This is a sacred time for self reflection, celebration and a time to express and share love. Before looking ahead to the new year, let&#8217;s spend some time reflecting on this year.</p>
<p>Take yourself to your favourite place where you reflect and recharge, relax with a beautiful herbal tea, out in nature or cosy on the couch. There is no better way to reflect than in your journal, where you can reach the deepest parts of yourself and feel free to express and release from any expectations and just be.</p>
<p>Jotting down your thoughts and dreams is incredibly healing and clears the mind for new, beautiful ideas to enter. Your journal can be used as your own personal vision board, and write down all of the things you want for your life as a reminder to stay true to yourself, your desires, and your heart. Your journal allows you the opportunity to reflect and see how far you’ve come while also facilitating private conversations that help you go deeper into your true self.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s spend some time reflecting on 2015, grab your cup of tea and plant your beautiful soul in a comfortable, grounding position, relax your body and reflect.</p>
<p><strong>Reflection time for 2015. Questions to ask yourself;<br />
</strong></p>
<p>What are you thankful for?</p>
<p>What am I most proud of?</p>
<p>When did I feel the most inspired throughout the year?</p>
<p>What projects have I completed?</p>
<p>What lessons have I learned?</p>
<p>How well did I nurture my mind, body and spirit?</p>
<p>Were you surprised by what you have achieved? Are you able to see how far you have come? Write a letter to yourself, list down your achievements, feel proud and acknowledge yourself for where you are in your life, and remember to base these achievements off your own personal experience, everyones version of achievement looks different and that is exactly the way it should be.</p>
<p>Take your time with the process, allow yourself to be guided by your intuition as you reflect and asking yourself these questions. Be guided by your infinite intelligence. Once you have processed 2015 and acknowledged your process and celebrated all that you are grateful for, let&#8217;s spend some time reflecting on the new year.</p>
<p><strong>Reflection time for the year ahead, 2016. Questions to ask yourself;<br />
</strong></p>
<p>What do you want to work towards this coming year?</p>
<p>What type of person do you want to become?</p>
<p>What old habits would I like to release?</p>
<p>What new habits would I like to cultivate?</p>
<p>Where am I feeling stuck?</p>
<p>Am I happy in my life right now?</p>
<p>Do I love waking up everyday, doing the work I do?</p>
<p>How can I be more kind to myself?</p>
<p>Where is it time in your life to let go?</p>
<p>Take your time doing this, you want to create change and growth in 2016.</p>
<p>Towards the end of the year we can often feel exhausted, tuning in, overcoming challenges and pushing through the discomfort is hugely important but this needs to be balanced with light hearted fun. Spend some time over the Christmas and New Year holidays letting your hair down, laughing with friends and family, watch some great comedies, check out that park you drive past everyday or go sight seeing in your own city. Shake off all that seriousness, we can very easily consume ourselves in overtime. Give yourself the benefit of time to reflect, allow yourself time to celebrate the current year before racing ahead into action. It&#8217;s time to recharge and renew the batteries.</p>
<p>The New Year always brings with it motivation and inspiration to make improvements in our life. Most of us have good intentions when planning out our hopes for the new year but following through is the hard part and sticking to it is even harder!</p>
<p>When it comes to setting your goals, sometimes we hit what I like to call terror barrier. We go beyond our comfort zone, we get scared and revert back to our old patterns which although no longer serve us, feel safe and comfortable. This is a natural tendency so it is perfectly ok.</p>
<p>However, if we don’t do something about it, and we don&#8217;t learn to wade through the discomfort, we will never overcome those old beliefs and patterns that are holding us back from our true potential. Those big goals that mean so much to us are achievable and you deserve to experience them.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you honouring the whispers of your soul?</p>
<p>Are you constantly moving from here to there, in a hurry to do this and that and working frantically, whilst ignoring your soul&#8217;s whispers of pure guidance?</p>
<p>It&#8217;s very easy to get caught in the busyness of life and all the sounds of the world to fade out the whispers of your soul.</p>
<p>The whispers are your intuition, the voice of the soul, the all-knowing part of you that operates on a much deeper, and wiser, level.</p>
<p>We’ve all been in situations where “something,” often something we can’t explain, guides us to making a certain decision. That “something” is intuition. Beneath the fear-based thoughts that often rule our minds, your intuition is the real basis for who you are, what you want and what you need from life. It is the voice of your truest desires.</p>
<p><span id="advenueINTEXT">In essence, received wisdom from the whispers indicates that deep in the ocean of inner stillness, you can experience the ultimate reality of the present moment. </span></p>
<p>It&#8217;s very easy to ignore the whispers when you are not taking time out each day to be present and still. The whispers will start off faint and over time they will become very loud until you are forced to stop and listen.</p>
<p>Does this sound familiar? Have you ever received big glaring warning signs, clear messages where you haven&#8217;t been paying attention? Maybe you had a car accident or received a parking fine, these are clear signs that it&#8217;s time to slow down and take time out. Your whispers are getting too loud, it&#8217;s time to listen to the faint whispers and take action.</p>
<p><span id="advenueINTEXT">The voice of the inner child, your over active mind and the psychical sounds of the outside world obstruct you from listening to the whispers. Listen mindfully to the thoughts of your mind and the voice of your inner child but don&#8217;t form an attachment too them, allow them to pass through and bring yourself back into the present moment of stillness. </span></p>
<p>Meditation has been a saving grace for myself and many people I know around to listening to your intuition. Meditation opens up the gateway to self awareness, it will guide you to become the witness of these voices and as your consciousness heightens it will get easier to not form any attachment or become overwhelmed to the over active mind and the destructive voice of the inner child and you will be able to hear your whispers clearly.</p>
<p>Like many aspects of life, knowing the power of your intuition and actually trusting it are very different, and many times, trusting your intuition to guide you can be difficult, but it&#8217;s important to remember it&#8217;s right every time, it&#8217;s never wrong. When we are not listening to the whispers we feel out of alignment, disconnected, lonely and confused. Trust yourself, you know more thank you think you do.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the thought of trying to answer all the questions going through your mind?</p>
<p>Do you ever feel like you are trying to control every outcome in your life, career, business, relationship, friendship decisions?</p>
<p>It’s time to surrender and let go.<br />
Let go of trying to control.<br />
Let go of attachment to outcomes.<br />
Let go of trying to answer all the questions that are going through your mind.<br />
Have faith in the flow of life.</p>
<p>I can feel you sitting there saying, ‘Rachael, that is easy to say and it’s very hard to do’.</p>
<p>Most people are in battle with trying to control their life in some way or another. It’s interesting because people think they feel more in control when they are trying to control situations, but really they feel the total opposite, they feel out of control and this is why they are trying to control it. Wow, that was a lot of control’s!</p>
<p>Are you ready to let go and surrender to the voice in your mind that is misleading you? The voice of the inner child that is very strong when he or she is feeling fearful.</p>
<p>Surrendering is not giving up. As Marianne Williamson says in her book, ‘A Return to Love’, ‘Surrender means the decision to stop fighting the world, and to start loving it instead. To relax, to feel the love in your heart and keep that as your focus in every situation.’</p>
<p>Surrender is about admitting that you are not in control. It’s getting your self out of the way and trusting a Higher Power to guide you. This Higher Power is you, your inner intelligence (your intuition), you are the power.</p>
<p>Surrendering frees you from fear, anxiety and anger. Although surrendering may feel scary, you will feel lighter, more joyful and abundant and it gives you a sense of peace, contentment and happiness.</p>
<p>Letting go and completely surrendering can spur you into taking action. As you let go, you will be amazed with the clarity that you feel, your inner intelligence will start to become very clear and guide you to take action.</p>
<p>Living from a place of trying to control every outcome is exhausting and brings an enormous amount of stress and sleepless nights. You know the saying, ‘what we resist persists’, we don’t want to fight against life, we want to flow with life.</p>
<p>Let go of your expectations for the future, let go of your attachments to the past, all that is left is the present moment, and that is all we ever have, this moment right now. As you fully surrender and let go, all there can be, is the now.</p>
<p><strong>Some questions to feel your way through;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Where is this feeling of control coming from?</li>
<li>When did I first ever feel like I had to control?</li>
<li>How did this feeling of control serve me back then?</li>
<li>How is this feeling of control not serving me now?</li>
<li>Are you drifting through life or flowing through life?</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Are you challenged with letting go of the past?</strong> We can’t change the past what is done, is done, it is what it is. There is no point asking the ‘what if’s’. We can learn a lot about ourselves from the past, we can turn the past into inspiration and empowerment and start asking different questions; ‘where do I go from here, to move forward in my life?’</p>
<p><strong>Are you challenged with the fear of the future?</strong> Accept that things are never really in your control anyway. Surrendering to the unknown unblocks the fear and anxiety and allows freedom and flow. Trust and have faith that everything is exactly as it is supposed to be, you are being guided every step of the way.</p>
<p>Letting go and surrendering is about growth and change, this can be painful, but nothing is more painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong.</p>
<p>Living in the now is a choice. We can choose to live the easy way or the hard way. We do have a choice, we always have a choice to live in the now.</p>
<p><strong>Today’s affirmation:</strong> I choose to be in this moment right now.</p>
<p>As you let go of control and surrender you will see life in a whole new light, a life of flow.</p>
