as the end of summer turned to fall and fall turned into the now withering winter, we’ve spent a lot of that time learning each other’s back catalog, writing new songs together, and bringing uncompleted songs to one another to help smooth out the rough edges. I’m still very much pursuing and writing for Rachele Eve Band, but UMMA gives a home to more folk inspired songs that focus on a universal message and simple but hopefully one day, profound melody.

we’ll be debuting live at Lincoln Hall on Monday, April 25th. to make the UMMA tribe complete, amazing cellists Ben White and Teddy Rankin-Parker will join us.
