Here's a quick peek into my New York apartment here in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. For me, it's perfect. I can't believe it's been almost a year since I moved in. It feels every bit like home to me.

Today I'm so excited to introduce you to once of my favorite bloggers, Brynn of Being/Elliott. Brynn, Jessica and I all met on the internet when we were the Nashville Style Ambassadors for ModCloth. We had gradiose plans for a Nashville meet-up that were thwarted when I was hit by a truck (as a pedestrian) but you guys already know that. Luckily, Brynn interned in New York for Harper's Bazaar in the accessories department (yes, she is awesome.) I can't wait until she moves to New York for real! We compiled a few questions for each other. See my interview on Being/Elliott here.

How would your describe your personal style?

My style is swinging Sixties with a modern twist.

How did interning to Harper’s Bazaar and working in New York change your attitude about fashion and style?

My New York fashion experience has helped me see fashion with a widened perspective. Fashion seems simple to some people until they see all the diligent work that goes on behind the scenes to make breathtaking layouts and editorials possible.

Fashion is found at the juncture of new ideas, organization and bold moves. I have also learned that being kind and thoughtful goes a long way in an industry full of snobbery.

How do you blend the fashion of Nashville and New York to create your signature look?

I love mixing elements of NYC’s urban style with my laid-back Nashville look. For example, when I mix my high waisted light-wash jeans with some classic stilettos I feel they add a bit of an edge to my Nashville aesthetic.

You always have incredible makeup looks from natural to bold red lips. What are some of your absolute must-haves for beauty?

Thank you so much! I love to change it up makeup-wise. My day look is minimal makeup with some mascara and a light lip. My evening look is usually a bold lip in a berry or red shade paired with a dramatic smoky eye. My beauty must-haves are my Bobbi Brown eyelash curler, CoverGirl’s Cheekers blush in Classic Pink, Revlon's Lipstick in Wine with Everything, and Smith’s Rosebud Salve.

What is most rewarding for you about having a blog?

I gain the most from introducing artisans about whom I am passionate to my readers and viewers. I love love love to share things I cherish with others, so Being/Elliott has been a great vehicle for sharing my wish lists, staples and inspirations. I consider all my viewers to be my pals.

What products do you use to keep your hair healthy while rocking ombre?

Oh, I just discovered this amazzzing new shampoo and conditioner that works wonders on my sometimes crazy hair. It’s Loreal Paris’s new Total Repair 5 Restoring collection. This stuff turns my ombre into an “om-hey!” or, in other words, makes my damaged hair silky smooth and manageable.

Where do you see your career heading?

I would love to continue to write for publications I respect and to try new and exciting things along the way. I am always up for a new adventure in life or in my career. I'd like to continue styling in a more in-depth manner. I just styled my first music video last January and that experience was a total blast. I yearn to be joyful in all circumstances and give the rest to God.

What about your blog?

I'd love to start a Being/Elliott shop which would include products from designers and artisans who influence me. This idea exhilarates me!

I've been dabbling with the idea of starting a Being/Elliott shop for a while now. The shop would be linked to my Being/Elliott site and would be full of products which inspire me as well as vintage finds I've collected on my travels. I want my shop to be a way for me to take my readers on a styling appointment... in my own closet!

Where do you get the bulk of your fashion inspiration?

I love looking at grand women in my life for inspiration. Both of my grandmothers have always been exceptional in their dress and presentation. My grandma Beth always had an affinity for shoes and bold jewelry.

My grandmother Fairy Belle loves a classic coat and rocks lovely minimalistic pieces. My mother dresses in all black and lives in turtlenecks. It is her niche and it is classically stunning. I like to pull from my own family.

Your photos are amazing what are your photography secrets?

Thank you! It is simple really. I have an amazing photographer friend. Her name is Jackie Osborne and she is a beyond-talented woman. Hire her. Just do it. She rocks my socks and is a lighting master.

You always find such unique pieces to feature on Being/Elliot. Where do you find out about them?

I love to hunt for remarkable products on sites like Pinterest. I can get lost in amazing content there. It's like a black hole of beauty! If I find something simply to-die-for, I HAVE to find out more about the product and its story.

Normally when I contact artisans they are incredibly gracious. I've had lovely experiences with all of my collaborators in the past and have loved every minute of getting to know the brands and the faces behind them.

If you had to pick one outfit and makeup look to wear for the rest of your days what would it be?

Such a difficult question! I'd have to say my easy beige t-shirt from J.Crew tucked into my Gap 1969 high-waisted jeans paired with my go-to wedges from a vintage shop in my hometown.

For make-up it would be minimal concealer, a dusty pink blush, with a matte red lip and a brush of lengthening mascara.

A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock and Roll

Moving from Nashville to New York was a big change. There are so many things I loved about living in Nashville. I teamed up with one of my favorite Nashville bloggers, Jessica of Here and Now to create a blog post about Nashville and New York City looks. Check out her post here.

Usually I feel like a gypsy because I never lived anywhere very long growing up. I was born in Southern California then moved to Michigan, Minnesota then Kentucky all before I was 11. Kentucky was the closest place to a home I've ever know having lived there for 7 years. After graduating from high school I moved to Nashville for college. While in college I studied abroad for 7 months in France and interned for two summers in New York. I knew I had to move to the Big City and uproot my Southern roots for New (York) adventures. Somewhere deep inside me a city girl was hiding. I guess I am a little bit county, a little bit rock and roll. There are pieces of my heart strewn across the country (and France) and I like that.

Warby Parker Summer Collection

So as you guys may already know I'm kind of obsessed with Warby Parker. My love for the glasses brand came way back in November ~~2011~~ 2010 when I purchased my first pair online and made this video. I was blown away by the glasses, the customer services and most importantly the price. Turns out I wasn't the only one who saw the video- it was also featured in a video segment about Warby Parker for Time.com. I, of course, had no idea until I checked out the Warby Parker pop-up shop during SXSW last year. Someone from the Warby team recognized me and told me all about the video. I was thrilled. They even sent me a pair of the Roosevelts in Bondi Blue (below) which I consider my "cool factor" glasses. Anywho, Warby has launched an incredible new summer collection. Eyelash Extensions

I am obsessed with having long eyelashes. I have been like this as long as I can remember. Well, ever since the first time I picked up an eyelash curler. My mom first showed me how to use one when I was in Middle School. I felt like I had reached my true potential. I would spend so much time curling my lashes and applying mascara in the morning. I would carry my eyelash curler around with me all day. Then I discovered false lashes and I would wear them ALL the time. Then I tried Latisse, which was frightening but did make my lashes a bit longer, but I couldn't seem to swallow the $150 price tag and the irritation it sometimes caused at the case of my lashes. So one day while I was on LifeBooker.com (um, hello you need to try it) I saw a "LifeBooker Loot" for eyelash extensions on sale for $45. I was sold! See the video below:

The salon, called Angel Lash was a small spot near Herald Square. It wasn't anything fancy but it was very clean and they were very nice. I quickly realized I had NOT done my research when they started asking me if I wanted a 'J' or 'C' curl and what length '9-15mm' I wanted. Finally, once I understood what they meant I chose a C curl (more curled as opposed to a more natural J curl) with a slight cat eye, size 10mm in the inner corner, size 11mm in the middle and size 12mm on the ends. The experience was a bit nerve wracking at first as they put cotton pads that go slightly into your eye to prevent getting any rogue lashes into your eye. Then you lay down and they cover you in a blanket, and I asked if I could put in my headphones and they said yes which was great. With your eyes closed they apply individual lashes to your existing lashes with medical grade glue using tweezers. The whole process took about an hour and a half, which felt like an eternity. They say a lot of people just fall asleep. When it was over they removed the eye pads and handed me a mirror and I was honestly shocked. Are those MINE? They looked incredible with absolutely no makeup (you can see the photos). You are not supposed to shower for 24 hours afterwards and you have to be very careful with your lashes. Since getting them I have been very gentle with my eyes and have been using cleansing oils instead of splashing water on my face every night. They are definitely an investment but when I wake up every morning with long black lashes, I instantly feel so much prettier and it saves me so much time in the morning. While you have them in you don't wear mascara. I still wear eyeliner but remove it very gently with a q-tip at night.

Update:

I got my second set put in and this time I choose ones that were a bit less long because I felt the first ones would sometimes poke me a bit. Here's the comparison. I got 9mm-10mm-11mm. Which do you like better?

Blogger Brunch in the City

I think one of my absolute favorite things about living in New York City is brunch. This might sound trite, but I love everything about it. I love pancakes and mimosas. I love catching up over the starch and syrup and bottomless cups. There is nothing that takes the edge off a week of work like laughing until it hurts with good food and friends. I recently went out to a bar in the Lower East Side called "Epstein's" with my blogger babes. I was invited by Apneet (aka Fabric Snob) the ringleader for these blogger brunches. She was of course, an hour late so I chatted on with the other bloggers including Ria Michelle, Ashley and Christine (Tineey). All photos by Apneet!

I had a breakfast burrito and Apneet had pancakes. The best part, however, were the bottomless mimosas served in PABST pint cups.

I tend to dress very casual for brunch. After a week of heels and pencil skirts at work, I love throwing on my favorite skinny jeans and motorcycle boots. I've been trying out the whole hat thing, and I have to say I'm liking it. What do you think?

A Year in the Life

2012 was absolutely, with out a doubt the best year I've had so far. I graduated college, scored my dream job in New York City and changed my skin for good. I jumped in a fountain at a singles mixer, recovered from being hit by a truck, saw Delta Spirit 3 times and traveled to Austin, Orlando, Southern California, Chicago, Lexington, Omaha and of course, New York. I hit over 1 million views on both my French and American YouTube channels and started this blog. I've loved every minute and wanted to share some of the highlights of my year with you. This will be a long post so hold on tight, it was a crazy ride!

New Year's Eve, 2012 in Austin Texas.

February: Launched RachMartino blog which was over 100,000 hits now thanks to you

February- Finished Accutane, the best decision I ever made for my skin and self-esteem.

February 20: I was hospitalized after being hit by a truck as a pedestrian

March: Took the most amazing 900 mile/13 hour road trip from Nashville to Austin with my best friend, Michelle for South by Southwest.

March: Met (and partied with) Bianca Caampued at Style X during South by Southwest who would come to change my life for the awesome.

March: Took my first stab at Street Style blogging on the streets of downtown Austin during SXSW

April: Visited New York City with Michelle for Easter break and had my first meeting that would turn into an interview for my now job at Origins

May: GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE at Belmont University in Nashville with a Bachelor's Degree in French and English. PS- How cute is my mom?!

Spent an incredible week in Chicago visiting friends including my other best friend, Amy. Here we are at the Chicago waterfront.

June: Moved into my Brooklyn apartment (where I still live). That balcony with two chairs is mine, y'all.

June: I became a Petite Publicist working for Small girls PR. How could work be anything but wonderful with these charming girls as your bosses?

My Small Girls partner in crime and close friend, Annie Grace Jackson. Oh, and I had pink hair which totally rocked.

June: Celebrated my wonderful parents' 30th Wedding Anniversary with an incredible party in Southern California with over 100 people! I cried as I delivered my speech celebrating their marriage and happiness.

Independence day in Brooklyn with good friends, a white dress and some Brooklyn Summer Ale

A fantastic moment of clarity when I knew I was truly happy in New York. Michelle and I saw Givers in Central Park and it started pouring rain and we just danced and got soaked and took in the beauty of being young and living in the best city on earth.

August 9: I turned 22 and was able to celebrate with my two favorite people on earth, Amy and Michelle. This photo strip from the end of the night says it all.

August 23: Bianca's Wedding Themed Birthday party, one of the most fun New York nights of my life. I was dressed as a rock and roll bride, obviously.

September 4: My first official day as an employee of Estee Lauder Companies as the Associate Community Manager at Origins.

September 22: The most beautiful wedding I've ever attended of my dear friend and previous roommate June to her husband (the lead singer of my favorite band, Kopecky Family Band) Gabe at the Nashville Symphony. It was truly breathtaking.

September: Started filming at the YouTube Next Lab in Manhattan, leading me to meet some other incredible YouTube Content Creators.

October: I was Lana Del Rey for Halloween, enough said. Here's the video transformation.

I spend Thanksgiving in Blue Mountain Beach Florida with my cousins Riley (pictured), David, my uncle and parents. It was so warm and beautiful and it was nice to get away from the city for a few days.

December: Had the lovely chance to do a studio shoot with my blogger gang (Apneet + Rachel et Nicole)

December: We threw a wicked Christmas party at our apartment. Emily, my roommate (pictured) made jello shots and it was an incredible night to say the least.

December: Christmas at home with my mom and dad in Lexington, KY. Merry Christmas, y'all!

Gang of Girls in Gowns

Moving to New York has been an incredible experience in so many ways. One of the most amazing this is to be surrounded by people who share my passion for fashion, beauty, Brooklyn, boys and blogging. I first met Apneet when I was writing for Fashism. I wrote profiles on top-users and wrote a post about "leggy Brooklynite" Fashism user Musical Soul. Apneet re-blogged the post and we met soon after at a Brooklyn wine bar called Sage. Apneet introduced me to the adorable Rachel and Nicole, writers of the (awesome) style blog RacheletNicole.com. We all hit it off instantly and have been a blogger gang ever since! We decided to do a Holiday Shoot together wearing gowns at a studio in Soho. I wore my incredible blue PromGirl gown you saw in my last post. The photos turned out incredibly well and I couldn't be happier to be part of a blogger gang of gorgeous girls. I felt like the photos lent themselves to a retro old-hollywood look so I chose to put the phones in Sepia. See how the other girl's used the photos in their posts here (Apneet's) and here (R&N's).

Always Wear Your Invisible Crown

I love nothing more than spending my time playing dress up so when PromGirl asked me if I would like to do a video/photo shoot of some of their gorgeous gowns I jumped at the opportunity! When I went to prom what feels like ages ago (six years- when did I get so old?!) I played it safe and bought dresses I could wear again. Since then I have been more apt to try fun new things when it comes to fashion. For my PromGirl shoot I decided I would try to show how to wear and style these beautiful dresses for fashion but also for other occasions. Bianca, co-founder of Small Girls PR and one of my dear friends helped me to style them and I love the results. I love PromGirl's motto, "Always Wear You Invisible Crown"and I think now that I'm older and more comfortable in my own skin, I do try to keep those empowering words in my mind.

A Lucky Girl Goes Shopping

Sometimes I get emails that bowl me over with happiness and I feel like the luckiest girl on earth. This is the feeling I had when I received an email from Lucky Magazine asking me to be a part of the VIP Blogger Committee for their annual Lucky Shops Event. Me? VIP Blogger Committee for a Lucky Magazine Event?! I was absolutely thrilled. The event had to be rescheduled from its original November 1st date because of Hurricane Sandy. I invited my blogger gal-pal Courtney from Girl Avant Garde. I knew I wanted to bring someone as my plus one who would appreciate the experience as much as I would. Plus she takes killer photos (all the photos in the blog post were taken by her or with her camera!) For the event, I was dressed by vendors from Lucky Shops. Foley + Corinna provided my dress and killer clutch. Gryphon New York lent me an incredible coat. Sole Society hooked me up with some lovely glitter heels and GlamHouse glammed me up with a bracelet and ring from the Belle Noel collection. I was honored to be a part of the VIP blogger committee with other fabulous New York Bloggers like NYC Pretty, Audrey Allure and Ageist Beauty.

Outfit Remix: Vintage Skirt

Hey everyone! So I have a new blogpost featuring one of my favorite skirts. I found this skirt over 6 years ago in Lexington, Kentucky at a vintage store that no longer exists (sadly). I was entranced by the print that reminded me of a 50's apron. When I bought the skirt it was really long and hence super unflattering. I had it hemmed to hit about an inch about the knee. I made this post to show how to wear the same skirt and get two totally awesome looks with different hair, makeup and styling. Literally, Alex from The Style Blogger who shot my for this post said, "you look completely different in these photos!" I love changing up my look and trying new things. Which look do you prefer?

Flowers in your Hair

Hey everyone, I have a really exciting post today! I had the absolute pleasure of being shot by my friend, the amazing photographer, Alex Crawford. We went to college together at Belmont and we reconnected when I found out he was also living in the city. It was a crazy story because I went to an alumni dinner and we started chatting. I asked him about his recent photography projects and he said, "I did a great shoot last week with Two Little Girls." I laughed and said, "Do you mean Small Girls PR, I work for them!" He is the lead photographer for the popular Menswear blog, The Style Blogger. We shot these photos last week in the beautiful Prospect Park in Park Slope. I have been obsessed with flower crowns lately and I was thrilled when I was gifted this beautiful one from gla.MAR.ous. I have been humming "Flowers in Your Hair" by the Lumineers for weeks. Retro Pin Up Look

Hey Everyone! I recently shot in the Meatpacking District with my new blogger friend, Apneet Kaur of Fabric Snob. She is also an incredible photographer, so I was honored when she suggested taking a few photos of me for the blog! I have been really into retro fashion these days ever since I started rocking head scarves (blogpost here) mostly because it is so hot in New York! I paired one of my favorite vintage scarves with a bold red lip and one of my favorite dresses of all time I bought a while back from Urban Outfitters. It has a cute 50's fit with vivid red poppies. M First PR Event: ReFashioner

Hey everyone! So my life in New York has been such a whirlwind. I moved into my amazing apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn just about a month ago and my whole life has been turned upside down. I work part-time at Small Girls PR as a self-described #petite publicist. I also write for Fashism, which is a great job. I have been an active use on their site for over 2 years now, so definitely check it out! I write the articles for their blog. If you are interested in knowing more about my work, follow my new tumblr account where I detail more about my career adventures. So this past Sunday I had my first official PR event! The event was for ReFashioner, an It's an amazing new site that's basically a curated designer swap meet! Basically you are able to buy incredible designer duds from some of New York's most amazing closets from anywhere!

The event was at Gleason's Gym, a world-famous boxing gym in Brooklyn. It's been home to some of the most incredible boxers and moving about boxing as well. The founder of ReFashioner, Kate Sekules is a world-famous boxer as well and the site was the perfect place to launch the site as well as celebrate her book, A Boxer's Heart. The event was a huge success! There were 300 people there enjoying a boxing match, a violent ballet number by Streb dance company as well as some delicious drinks including Knockout Punch. A friend of mine from college, Alex Crawford, also shot some lovely photos in the ring for a very unique photo booth! It was such a fun night. Head Scarf for Summer

The weather in New York has been insane. When I first got here at the end of May it was very warm then suddenly it got really chilly and now it is officially HOT! I'm talking sweat-down-your-back, smoggy, humid hot that can make you miserable. To keep my hair off my face (and neck) I have been adopting a new hairstyle with a head scarf. I was flirting with this look back in the spring, but now I can say I am fully committed to the head scarf. First you fold the scarf (depending on the size/shape) so it is long and rectangular, then make an enormous bun on the top of your head, tie the scarf on and make a knot, tucking in the ends. Behind the Scenes of my shoot at The Cosmetic Market!

Hey everyone! I wanted to do a quick blog post about my behind the scenes experience working on my Cosmetic Market Signature Facial video. At first I was a little bit nervous about doing a video where I bared my skin so soon after I got off Accutane. I was on Accutane for 6 month after suffering moderate acne for many years. It was the best decision I ever made for my skin and I love sharing my experience with other to help them make a more informed decision about such a serious medication. I do still have a ton of acne scarring which you can see in this very up close and personal HD video. I am happy to share my skin with others and promote such an amazing establishment and a great aesthetician, Andy. We became very close as soon as I started working at the Cosmetic Market, she has such a fun and charming personality and I love spending time with her. I miss her now that I am in New York, especially her amazing facials!

My Favorite Places in Nashville, a Farewell!

Hey Everyone! So here I am, sitting on my beautiful porch reflecting on my time in Nashville. The last four years I've spent here have been so incredible. I honestly can't believe it's almost all over. In a few days I will be moving to New York to start my grown-up life. I have been waiting for this moment ever since I interned for mark Cosmetics after my freshman year at Belmont University. Now that the moment has finally come for me to move on, I am so sentimental about the time I spent in this wonderful city.

Here is the house where I lived by Sevier Park, it was such a wonderful place to live!

Nars Blush/Bronzer Palette

Hey everyone! On my Updated Foundation Routine Video (English and French) I got a lot of comments asking about my blush and bronzer palette. It is indeed one of my most prized makeup possessions. It contains my favorite Nars blushes and bronzers. While working at the Cosmetic Market in Nashville, I was able get my hands on a lot of Nars blush and bronzer tester units. Because they were made to put in a big tester unit the blushes and bronzers were loose pans. I accumulated a lot of these and it became a pain to travel with them. So I searched the internet for a magnetic palette, but most of the magnetic palettes out there are for MAC pans. I finally found a "freestyle" palette on StarsMakeupHaven.com, plus it was only $14! Below, I have listed all the Nars blushes, bronzers and two powder foundations that are in the palette along with swatches of the colors. Needless to say, I am obsessed with Nars products, and their blushes and bronzers are among my favorites!

As you can most likely tell, Orgasm and Casino are my two absolute favorites. I cannot go a day without wearing Orgasm blush, it truly is, in my opinion, the most beautiful blush on earth. In addition to the powder blush (and super orgasm blush-a more pigmented version of the original with more substantial gold glitter), I also own the Orgasm Multiple, the Orgasm Illuminator, the Super Orgasm Illuminator and the Orgasm Lip Gloss. As I said, obsessed. For looks with really bold lips, especially darker lips, I love to use Nars in Sex Appeal. It is a softer pink with much less shimmer, so it gives the perfect subtle glow without looking like a lot of blush, Sin is especially pretty in the winter months because its more of a berry tone with gold shimmer, as is Amour because it is a bit deeper than orgasm. Penny Lane is the perfect cream blush for a super-natural effect. I also like to use it under another powder blush if I know I won't be able to touch up throughout the day for a long-lasting effect. Enchanted has a beautiful golden peach color with lots of shimmer so it's perfect for a night out. I often just dab a little on the tops of cheekbones for added glow. Nico is also a great very natural highlighter, perfect for subtle everyday contouring.

Hey everyone! I hope you have been having a wonderful spring. So lately denim on denim looks have been really popular. I was extremely skeptical. The canadian tuxedo, I asked myself. What is this madness, have we regressed back to 2001 when Britney and Justin rocked this trend in one of the most tragic red carpet duo ensembles of all time? The trend started to grow on my after I saw articles on StyleList and then this killer denim on denim ensemble on Refinery 29. When my favorite blogger, Keiko Lynn rocked the trend, I knew I had to give it a try. I kept the hair really soft but accented the monochromatic look with my favorite bold lip with Nars in Schiap! To keep the waist, I added a leather woven belt from Forever 21 that I tied in a bow and rocked my favorite fabulously comfy nude Zara heels.

My Accutane Experience and Post-Accutane Skincare Routine

Hey everyone! I wanted to do a little blog post about my skincare routine. As you might know I struggled with moderate acne ever since I was in high school. I tried everything, topicals and different antibiotics to try to clear up my skin but nothing seemed to work. Last summer I decided to go on Accutane. My dermatologist okayed me for the treatment and I started my 6-month cycle in September. It was a difficult drug to be on and I had the common side effects of dry skin and lips and even suffered mil eczema which I've never had as a result. After it was over, however, my skin has never looked better! I haven't had a pimple in over 3 months!

This is my new routine that helps with my biggest skin issue now, acne scars.

Morning

I start by using my Clarisonic Pro with the Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash. I love the way this cleanser feels and smells! I've had my Clarisonic for over a year and I can honestly say it was worth the investment. My skin is softer than ever and I feel confident that the topicals I use are really being absorbed into the skin. The Clarisonic cleanses makeup 6x better than a washcloth alone and helps products absorb 61% better. Click here to learn more about the sonicare skin benefits. If I am in a rush in the morning I will use the Olay Skin Smoothing Cream Scrub so I still get the exfoliation. Next I use the Caudalie VinoPerfect Radiance Serum. I love this product because it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't use some of the harsh ingredients some of the other complexion-correcting products have. Also, because it is so thin and absorbs so quickly so it lasts longer, which is good because it is a splurge at $79. Then I use the Caudalie Beauty Elixer which imparts a lovely glow and acts as a toner to close the pores before applying makeup. I also spritz it after applying all my makeup to help set it.

Night

At night the most important thing is to make sure I get all the makeup off my face! To do this I use the Philosophy Purity One-Step Cleanser which really works to remove all the makeup in conjunction with my Clarisonic Pro. Then I apply the Caudalie VinoPerfect Radiance Serum again to really combat my acne scars. Lasty I use one of two creams: the Mario Badescu Moisture Magnet or the Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream. Both are very hydrating and I switch back and for the depending on which one I feel like using!

Watercolor Blues

Hey everyone! This was an exciting week with lots of fun school related events. For one of my classes we were asked to write a graduation speech reflecting on our time in college. This week we presented them to each other and the department of English faculty. Some parents were there too. I wore this silk dress I bought last year at H&M. It's really comfy and I love the bold watercolor print! I paired the look with my favorite bright pink lipstick, Nars in Shiap.

Hey everyone! Today was a glorious day! I had my last final of my academic career earlier today and I am so thrilled! This last semester at Belmont University has been a total whirlwind. In one semester I took so many amazing trips to Austin, Orlando, Omaha, Lexington (where I'm from) and New York City. I love traveling and after coming off last year when I was studying abroad in France (such an amazing experience) it felt great to be traveling again. Anyway, today was my last final for my Introduction to Physical Science class. It was tough, but I think I did a good job on it. I can't believe college is almost over. I am graduation next Saturday, May 5th. My look today was very casual and bookish. What do you think?

The Rivington's won out the competition- they were secretly my favorite pair as well! So I got to keep the Rivingtons's and I love them! They are so cute and they are the finishing touch to many of my looks, I especially like the color because most black glasses are a bit too harsh for my light complexion and blonde hair, so the blondes were perfect for me. I love that the color is multi-dimensional.
