New Radio Bialik producers host the first student-produced episode. They talk about the recent Bialik Theatre production of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass with two of the play producers. There are tips for reducing stress while studying for assessments next week, with help from the student Healthy Living Committee. We are “enlightened” by some discussion of the upcoming holiday of Chanukah by the student Jewish Life Committee and conclude with a student’s beautiful rendition of Maoz Tsur. Show your best work in Assessment Week and a happy Chanukah to all!

We learn of the hopes and objectives of the students before they leave on their trip this Sunday. In this week’s parasha, the Israelites leave Egypt which requires their own initiative. The students discuss how this relates to this exciting student mission.

Visitor Dr. Hananel Holzer taught Sec. 4 students about in vitro fertilization, in connection with their Jewish Life course. Rabbi Chaim Steinmetz and Rabbi Reuven Poupko enlightened us about the conflict in Gaza.
