Tekkokinkreet

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0831888/

Well nothing much to say as usual.

As you can tell from the picture "Tekkon Kinkurîto" is very different. A piece of art with extraordinary style.

It's about the 2 young street kids Black and White and their for a city district.

Expect astonishing visuals and some serious parkour action!

Sexy russian language

2012-10-19T12:39:00.000-07:00

I don't know why but i love the sound of russian language. Especially when it comes from one of the gorgeous russian girls.

It makes songs so much sexier.

King of Thorn

2012-10-12T05:14:00.000-07:00

Shame on me! I completely forgot to post this one - don't know what i was thinking.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1690483/

The world is swept by a new mysterious disease that turns people into stone. Since no cure could be found, scientists started a programm to save humankind by putting a group of people into cryogenic stasis until they eventually will find a cure.

But after waking up - the survivors realize that the scientists plan has failed and dangerous creatures now roam in the meant to be safe secret retreat.

As usual in japanese sci-fi stories it will get more complicated and results in a mind blowing finale. A ending you would not have seen coming.

It might not be on the same level of Neon Genesis Evangelion but it is one of the very few movies of the genre that really made a lasting impression on me.

Electro

Savant - Prelude

Just a little something that is not dnb/dubstep

Savants retro game beats will make you nostalgia in your pants.

Van Wilder

2012-09-17T09:37:00.002-07:00

"Don't be a fool - stay in school"

If you dislike Ryan Reynolds you might not feel me, but Van Wilder is one of my favorite comedies.

Yeah, it might have some cheesy moments (like every scene that got Tara Reid in it - the personification of everything that's not funny).

BUT the movie also got great scenes and characters.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283111/fullcredits#cast

His role may be rediculous - but Reynolds is a perfect fit for the beloved and famous college student.

And with Daniel Cosgrove the producers found a nice fit for playing the counterpart - a huge a**hole.

With Kal Penn we've got the indian sidekick from Banglapur.

Every celebrity started out small - some of them in this movie.

Aaand as a special guest

Still waiting...

2012-09-06T07:09:00.000-07:00

So for nearly every movie there is a sequel - and most sequels suck.
Especially if the famous members of the prequel's cast decide to quit.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1116186/

"Still waiting" is such a sequel.
In my opinion it doesn't suck but it is pretty much mediocre.

Just wanted to let you know that there is a sequel - Justin Long and David Koechner still have a part in it
but sadly their screentime is too short.

Waiting...

2012-09-04T06:31:00.004-07:00

I can't believe that i didn't post this comedy yet.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0348333/

As the title already says : a movie about - who would have guessed - waiting tables!

Simple topic but pretty entertaining.

I've watched "Waiting" several times for 2 main reasons

Ryan Reynolds - some of you might hate him (especially because of the green lantern) but he really got a fitting role with "Monty" in this movie (and will be a great deadpool - just saying)

David Koechner - playing "Dan" the obnoxious Manager of the Restaurant. After watching "Waiting" i watched other movies just because he got a role in them. He deserves far more credit.

An instrument fit for a king

FLCL / Furi Kuri

It's time for another awesome OVA!

And if you are looking for a diverting anime with a not too serious storyline - go for FLCL.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0279077/

A girl on a scooter hits a boy over the head with a bass guitar and robots start growing out if his forehead.

Cencoroll

2012-08-13T03:41:00.000-07:00

Cencoroll is a short movie i really like - especially because it was mostly created by one person only (Atsuya Uki).

2 shapeshifting creatures fighting inside of a city. And since it is a short movie i don't want to spoiler anything but suggest it to you.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1520841/

Memories

2012-08-10T11:52:00.003-07:00

Memories

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113799/

This movie consists of three stand-alone sci-fi movies. Put together they have a running time of 114 minutes.

Magnetic Rose : deep space exploration of a abandoned space station

Stink Bomb : a technician becomes a chemical weapon of mass destruction by mistake and is heading to tokyo

Cannon Fodder : a city at war - aming at an unseen enemy

All three are extremely differend - you won't be bored watching this!

Adams æbler

2012-08-02T11:04:00.000-07:00

Adam's apples - a special type of comedy. A danish movie with dry humor.
Usually i prefer the humor of over the top comedies like Harold & Kumar or Van Wilder.
But this foreign movie's rediculous dialogues and scenes really got me.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418455/

A nazi is sentenced to community service at a church. And right from the start nazi Adam tries to pick up fights with priest Ivan (played by glorious Mads Mikelsen) just to learn that he denies everything bad in the world. Adam promisses to break Ivan somehow and sets a goal for himself - to bake an apple pie using the curch's appletree's apples. But the tree gets struk by various plagues.
The humor lies within Ivan's dialogues and the weird combo of the curch-"staff"

Gunnar - an "ex" alcoholic, cleptomanic and sex offender

Khalid - a gas station robber
and Sarah - a pregnant woman with alcohol problems

In deny of everything bad - Ivan made me rage just listening to him. Adam breakes Ivan's nose 2 times throughout the movie giving him a rediculously deformed and funny look.
He tells a pregnant woman to get a baby that will be most likely handicapped because his son was supposed to be handicapped aswell and came out perfectly fine. Ofcourse - further in the movie - his son is a complete vegetable. Things like these make this movie pretty much hilarious.

Just watch the trailer :3

Dubstep

2012-07-16T08:43:00.001-07:00

Back in 2009 is stumbled upon a great track. Dubstep wasn't mainstream at all at that time and all the dubstep tracks i knew were a little "too dirty" for me - not enough vocals / melody.
But this one was different
it was the reason for me to get into dubstep after i discovered dnb for myself

pure sex

check out other songs of ellie goulding if u liked it. amazing voice for the dnb/dubstep genre

Kenny vs Spenny

2012-07-10T05:27:00.000-07:00

On of my favorite series.
In my opinion super entertaining but it may not be for everyone.

if you liked my suggestions i think u will most definetly love Kenny vs Spenny

just go ahead and test it!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384746/

try

Who can imitate the other guy better

First one to get a stain loses

Who can handle more torture

Who can keep a dead octopus on their head the longest

or "Who can stay handcuffed the longest"
and
"Who can wear a gorilla suit the longest"

Redline - Godspeed!

2012-06-27T15:32:00.000-07:00

Again an anime movie that ill suggest to you guys.
A completely spaced out scifi-race movie

its got speed
its got style
and ofcourse an ending you would not expect at all
just like every story from anime writers it has got the right ammount of mindfuck to it

only flaw might be the music

in my opinion an other genre would have matched the style much more

as for all my movie-suggestions - protipp:

adding THC to your system before watching will GREATLY enhance the experience
