I didn't thought of being hurt for I believed that it can last for few years.

Of course, the inevitable turn of events lead to a fate that I can't no longer be with that person. I missed the times that we have to wait up, grabbed a cup of coffee and just be that happy-go-lucky gal. Things got unawarefully awful when that person decided to have his 'postings' (via Facebook that is), be heard. I can't believe that person could be unheartfully judgmental. Due to that incident, I decided to let things go for good.

Right now, I think it would be best if I could keep the memories alive. Let go and start living on what should be concentrated by now. If I learned things right, I guess I'm on the right track. And just move on, girl. Everything will follow.

Celebrities on Publicities Hoopla

It's time to get serious. And the first stuff? Publicities on celebrities. As a celebrity, you're always expected to have your own say just about anything. And when I mean everything, that means you have to say crazy stuff to get attention.

Wanna have an example? Think of Miley Cyrus and the 'stoner' claims. Another is the infamous Kim Kardashian hoopla. The list just goes on and on. I'd like to answer the following questions: Do we have a reason to hate them? Probably there is. Do we have the courage to write a letter to them and make a request to stop all the publicities? Que Imposible! Do publicities make a celebrity popular? Marketing wise, probably a chance. But not everyone are really good at that.

I assumed that there are a lot of pro-hollywood bandwagon out there who can't seemed to move on with that. People, sorry to say it's all about publities, publicities and fame. Sadly, it's their way of life, and let's just accept that fact.

I'm Back *with a vengeance*

It's been a year since I migrated this blog to another hosting. After several months of smear campaigns, courting voters and infomercials, we will now all cast our votes from National down to Local level.

Just this morning, I was able to sneak in to a voting place (my precinct actually). It's my first time and I'm proud to say that I do have some pictures with me.

To remind you:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_5z3xKnT8C-s/S-aAnp8NZII/AAAAAAAAAtA/qkP8x6mSWNY/s320/yeye.0448.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469200216249689218" />

1. Do not overvote
2. Instead, just focus all the negative vibes into positive energy *Positivism here I come!*

Second, a major layout is also coming out. Maybe a month or so to do this 'major' lift to make it new and not the so usual template.

Third, instead of the random mode entries, I'll try to have a more meaningful entry. Speaking of which, a couple of weeks left, election is coming to an end. The big day (whatever you call it) or the Judgement day.

Who's your bet? Personally, I've been picking between Noynoy Aquino and Gilbert Teodoro. for some reasons, both have their different approach to issues that have been bugging the country ever since.

Noynoy Aquino (just an OPINION) I think is more an idealist. Let's face it, we want a leader with clean and decent family background. But having said that, what he needs is more legislative experience and focus on the more feasible solutions.

Gilbert Teodoro, on the other hand, is a former DND secretary, a private lawyer and chairman of the NDCC (National Disaster Coordinating Council). Based from his public profile, I think between my bet candidates, Gibo stands out. Why? because he has the most impressive answers (not to mention he's good-looking. haha! :D)

I'll have more of this later.

Have a nice day :)

Logout mode,

Cy

Screen Capture Software

Long time no post - 'nuff said

Hi, it's almost been a while since I haven't post anything in my blog. You can't continue writing even if some ideas run through your head.
2. You're too lazy to continue writing, and instead, focus to other stuffs.

If you have any of these signs, might as well unwind first your mind and breathe for a couple of minutes. You might also want to read or surf your facebook or play with facebook apps.

It would be best to first gather information about your favorite topic and start to write from scratch. I know it may sound cliche, but it helps, really!

Thanks,

Logout mode,

Cy<div For my mem'ry sake, here are the simple ways to avoid copied articles (plus the legal mens):

1. For citing sources and what not, use direct or indirect quotation (from the sources, of course!) - Better to be safe than never.

2. Never ever copy the article itself - 'coz little that you know, there are some 'recycled' articles the same as your 'own'.

3. Lastly, do some editing stuff, you know.

As much as possible, I'm safeguarding all the editing articles by using some software and check the percentage level; and by that, in a simple way, I can distinguish the orig. work from a copied e-article.

Log out mode,

Cy

New life outside Pasig.

Finally, I was able to leave my work for 9 months. Two weeks ago, I was completely pissed off to someone because of his 'unpredictable' attitude towards me. I know it happens all the time, but can that old man give me a chance to prove that I am worth the stay, he's not even worth the time for anyway.

I always try to be at my 200% or more, but it seems my system grew tired of 'pleasing' everyone that I am worth it. Among the better (or at least more colorful) auditions were:

Michael Castro:

Michael Castro, the 20-year-old brother of last year's fourth place finisher Jason Castro did surprisingly well. Castro, whose pink Mohawk haircut is a sharp contrast to his brother's dreadlocks, went before the judges and revealed that he had only taken up singing 20 days ago; words that made Simon Cowell cringe. Still, it turns out that the kid can sing, though he still interviews as badly as his brother. Of course even Simon Cowell could see that having a second Castro on American Idol helps create an instant story line for the show. The two female judges, where a tab bit more impressed (what male contestant doesn't make Paula swan ???), with Kara calling the younger Castro "ballsy." So off to Hollywood went Jason's baby brother.

Casey Carlson:

Also impressing the judges was 20-year-old Casey Carlson. Carlson will give Pink Bikini girl a run for the money this year, though she seemed to lack a sense of fashion during her audition. Still, she has a good voice, and is young and attractive, prompting Kara to say she had the "whole package." Carlson received a thumbs-up from all four judges.

Ashley Anderson:

Ashley Anderson came with a game plan, auditioning with a song Simon Cowell co-wrote. The fact that she also sings well got her a green light from all the judges, and a ticket to Hollywood.

Asa Barnes (a band director), tried his luck with a Michael Jackson song, which is usually a no-no. But Barnes did it well enough to win over the judges. Then there was Danny Gokey, who despite losing his wife to a medical condition recently, was able to keep his emotions in check long enough to put
American Idol Season 8: Michael Castro, Casey Carlson and St. Louis Recap
in a great rendition of "I heard it through the Grape Vine." A gusty performance that is sure to pull a few heartstrings across the nation. Gokey may be a sentimental favorite this year.

There were also plenty of wack jobs, and odd acts that got their hare of air time to help balance out the show. Among them were classically trained opera singer Brian Hettler ,"Banana Man" Vaughn English, and Andrew Lang. Lang came with his own cheerleaders, Hettler could not sing, and Banana Man's costume said it all.

News from Associated Content

Judge defers decision on dismissing Lori Drew cyber-bullying convictions

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 156px; height: 230px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5z3xKnT8C-s/SWmhINbOuiI/AAAAAAAAAHY/HDYdj2EXhsI/s320/MEGAN-RIBBON1-1.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289936399738255906" />

A judge listened to arguments Thursday for and against dismissing the convictions of Lori Drew in a nationally watched cyber-bullying case — but did not rule.

"The bottom line is we are no further along in this process than we were yesterday," said Drew's lawyer, Dean Steward, after the hearing in federal court in Los Angeles.

District Judge George H. Wu set Drew's sentencing for April 30 without indicating how he will rule on a motion to override the three misdemeanor convictions.

He also did not act on the prosecution's motion to dismiss a pending felony conspiracy count on which jurors deadlocked Nov. 26. That day, the jury found Drew guilty of the misdemeanors, acquitted her of three felony counts and could not decide on the conspiracy charge.

Wu promised to rule before sentencing.

Drew, 49, of O'Fallon, was accused of criminally violating terms of service for the California-based MySpace social network. Officials said she was responsible for hateful messages sent under a fictitious boy's name to Megan Meier, a rival of her daughter and neighbor in Dardenne Prairie. Megan Meier hanged herself in 2006.

The defense insists that prosecutors did not prove a crime occurred.

The U.S. attorney in Los Angeles acted after federal and state prosecutors in the St. Louis area had examined the circumstances and found no applicable charges.

If the misdemeanor convictions stand, Drew is likely to receive probation. Court officials will begin a pre-sentencing investigation of her background now that the judge has set a sentencing date.

Sober Up, Girl!

Yesterday was totally fun. I don't know how everything started, but to tell you honestly, I don't know if I was 'brave' enough to pull that thing off. Whew!

It's not in a compromising situation mind you!
Yesterday, I danced in front of my office mates on a solo performance!
I would never that in my entire life, but hey I did it for once and for all. China has decided that the international benefits they are going to get in terms of their image of openness are sufficient to outweigh any negative coverage they might get."

The rules announced Friday also stipulated that foreign reporters would be allowed to report outside the city in which they were officially based without having to get authorisation.

But they would still have to get permission from local authorities to gain access to the sensitive Himalayan region of Tibet, where the military quelled protests against Chinese rule in March.

Chinese nationals, however, still remained barred from working for foreign media organisations as reporters.

But Li Datong, a journalist who was once sacked as editor of a hard-hitting supplement to the China Youth Daily, said the rules governing foreign reporters would have a positive effect on media freedom in China in the long run.

"It is just not possible that the whole world's press report on something, and Chinese journalists do not," he said.

"So it will improve the number of issues that Chinese journalists report on."

But he said he believed it would be decades before domestic reporters enjoyed greater media freedom.

"There is more and more freedom, but the progress is still quite slow," he said.

"It will take another 30 years or so to reach the standards of the West."

The Foreign Correspondents' Club of China said it welcomed the decision to extend Olympic media freedoms but warned that correct implementation at the local level was essential.

"If properly implemented, we believe this will mark a step forward in the opening of China's media environment," club president Jonathan Watts said in a statement.

"We urge the government to ensure that police and local officials respect the spirit as well as the letter of the new rules," Watts said.

The club has recorded more than 335 cases of authorities interfering with reporters since January 1 last year.

- AFP -

behind emo..

I'm not considering myself to be a true "emo" fan. The two rival schools with one goal- to be the UAAP season 71 champ.

Honestly, I'm not considering myself a "true basketball fan" for that matter, except of course to UAAP. I don't know how did the "rivalry" issue started. Is it because they're one of the top 4 schools or just the media frenzied the whole thing? I used to watch UAAP years back. The whole thing was the worst (just imagine that even the audiences are brawling when their team was losing or something). It's really really a tensed game.

I guess every player gave their 100% or beyond that to came up with a good game.

Kudos to Chris Tiu and JV Casio! haha! They gave a very very intensified game! whoohoo!

My conclusion: Whoever won the game 2 or so, I'll always be a UAAP fan.
