Our client is looking for a Multi-Disciplinary Project Engineer with Depot & Station development experience. The ideal candidate would have a background as a Support Lead Project Engineer.

Experience

· Chartered Engineer (CEng) + Member grade of UK Engineering Institution

Evidence of managing

· Co-ordination of multi-disciplines requirements with the development of client brief into engineering scope.

· Multi-disciplinary design co-ordination

· Stake holder management (End user, maintainer and assuror)

Knowledge of

· LU standards and stage works

· Railway Engineering

Capable of

· Preparing design, checking drawings & writing, reviewing and accepting engineering scope for designers and contractors.

· Working on own or with little support from the manager

Capability to understand

· Programme deadline to meet cost and engineering solutions

· Refurbishment of buildings with new build

Demonstrable experience

· Regeneration of railway properties

· Hands on survey and design

Awareness

· LU safety standard –QUENSH

· Current Euro / BS standards

A major force within the UK and Global civil engineering and foundations / geotechnical sector. Recognised in delivering major contracts globally within the private and public sector.

About the Role:
They require a dynamic and driven Quantity Surveyor with the ability to work as part of a team managing a portfolio of contracts within the Southern Home Counties but with a major portion of work being based in central London. Their contracts range from major office, industrial and high-rise residential schemes to complex civil engineering contracts like Crossrail and the Olympics. Contracts will range up to £75m.

About the Candidate:
•        5-10 years’ experience.
•        Motivated (excellent promotion prospects within the group in the UK and overseas).
•        Have strong knowledge of foundations, structures, heavy civils and geo-technical experience.
•        Structured career history with established and recognised contractor.
•        Professional qualification.
•        Have drive and enthusiasm.
