It took some more time then plannend, but the Baureihe 218-400 is now a few days available in the RailTraction store.&lt;br /&gt;
In the meantime, we have worked on an update. The major changes can be found in the online readme of this Add-On.&lt;br /&gt;

If you already bought the BR218-400, please redownload the package from your account. Uninstall the previous version and install the latest version.&lt;br /&gt;

Previous year was heavy. In cooperation with Fopix3d and DutchRail, RailTraction opened and an online webshop was the result. After hard work, we are now almost ready with most functions and features in the webshop and the online readme. Next year we will be improving our service further with among others the same webshop in two more languages (German and Dutch).&lt;br /&gt;

A fast look at next year&lt;/h2&gt;
For 2013, we have some fantastic add-ons planned. For example the diesel multiple unit Class (Baureihe) 643 and 644, mostly known as &#39;Talent&#39;, the electric locomotive Baureihe 152 and the Dutch electric multiple unit Sprinter Light Train, mostly known as SLT which is the newest EMU of the Dutch Railways (NS).&lt;br /&gt;
(As you maybe have noticed, the Baureihe 218-400 is not mentioned...)&lt;br /&gt;

It won&#39;t take long till one of the most fantastic diesellocomotives of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) will arrive in Train Simulator 2013.&lt;br /&gt;

The Baureihe 218 will soon be available on RailTraction for Train Simulator 2013.&lt;br /&gt;

The Class 218 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) is a een serie of four-axle diesellocomotives originated from the already known V 160 and Class 216 with a length of more then 16 metres. This Class is tested for many years. After this period, the serie was build between 1971 and 1979. In total, 398 engines were build. The machines were first fitted with MAN-motors with a power of 1.840 (2.500 HP) and a weight of 78 ton. Later series of the Class 218 were fitted with MAN 12 V 956 TB 11 motors or the well known Pielstick 16 PA 4V 200 motors. So the Class 218 can be split out in many different variants. This package contains the Class 218-4.&lt;br /&gt;

For many years, the Class 218 is the most important representative of West German diesellocomotives for main lines. The engines were mostly based around the areas of Schleswig-Holstein, Braunschweig, Pfalz, Oberpfalz and Bayerisch Woods. Today, the Class can be find on non-electrical lines of the DB were the locomotives pulls fast passenger services, semi-fast passenger services and even freighttrains. Examples of routes were the Class 218 can be seen now is Munich - Bregenz (Austria) and Hamburg - Lubeck.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The recreation of the locomotive is very realistic. The most functions are visible and, more important, usable. It&#39;s for example possible to drive in &#39;Schnellgang&#39; for passengertrains and in &#39;Langsamgang&#39; for Freighttrains. There is some difference in maximum speed and traction effort. This and more information about how to drive the locomotive can be find in the RailTraction online readme of the BR 218-400 which will be available when the add-on is released.&lt;br /&gt;
