The debut of "Lackawanna" F3s Nos. 663 and 664 at Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pa., is one of the newest sections on the Photo Lines section of the website. Come out for a celebration as the Tri-State Railway Historical Society and Anthracite Railroads Historical Society break in their new power on a short trip to Nay Aug Tunnel!

Our Photo Lines gallery has been updated with the results of a few day trips in May. First up is a visit to CSX along the Schuylkill River Walk in Center City Philadelphia, with several freights in a scenic, yet urban, locale. Then it's a day on the New York & Long Branch (better known as New Jersey Transit's North Jersey Coast Line) with a lot of cool bridges. And finally, we head to Canada and spend a morning riding the O-Train, the diesel-powered light rail line that serves Ottawa.

Midwest Trip Photos Posted

We have a lot of new sections posted in Photo Lines. The Midwest Crossroads trip to Chicago and St. Louis is finished.

We also have a set of photos of a night photo session at Steamtown National Historic Site recreating what Buffalo might have looked like in 1956, with Lackawanna diesels mingling with Nickel Plate steam.

And in our "From the Slide Scanner" section, we go back to February 1996 for a day on the Northeast Corridor in southeastern Pennsylvania.
