December shot by like a race horse out the gates. Hubby, son, daughter and I were busy packing it up to move to a bigger place. Love the new digs not sure if we are planning to stay for the long haul but for the time being we all fit in nicely, plenty of room to spread out.
If your familiar with my story I have bad disks so I am unable to put my Rain Dropps workshop together again. *I now can relate to how Humpty Dumpty felt*
But none the less I'm keeping positive still believing in miracles and that everything happens in perfect timing. Since our move I have not done any creating until today (Jan 15, 2012). So! I Decided to pull up Photoshop and have some fun. Check out my link to check out my latest. It's nice that you popped in to see what's happening. Rain Dropps is still in the forecast.

*A bit of rapturous Steam Punkery expression I thought I open with*

For those that are not familiar with Steam Punk it's a sub-genre of science fiction and fantasy featuring advanced machines and other technology based on the steam power of the 19th century and taking place in a recognizable historical period or a fantasy world.

Rain Dropps cover's a lot of genres *pardon the pun* but if I had to describe myself (Rain) I would say that I am contraptor-esk

(A person who creates functional or practical Steam Punk art, also who modifies already made items to meet the Steam Punk aesthetic yet maintains it's functionality.

In a most momentous way I am currently and I must say diligently working on my creations to fill my cobble stoned web-shoppe shelves with my astonishing Works of Heart that will be available to all in what I hope to be sooner than later.

Rain Dropps invites all to board her time machine where an unutterable journey awaits us.
"Come with me and you'll be In a world of pure imagination, take a look and you'll see Into your imagination,we'll begin with a spin Trav'ling in the world of ~ My creation.

Be Passionate!

BOO!
October 29, 2011 my grandson's first actual Trick or Treat, well actually it was"Trunk or Treat". I never heard of Trunk or Treat before until I moved to Michigan. When I lived in California, mall stores give out candy, out here in Michigan different companies sponsor the days event at a parks parking lot to promote their businesses, some provide jumpers, food, for the adults coffee with Bailey's and tables so kids can craft masks.

This trunk or treat is a pretty neat idea, people line up their cars in the parks parking lot open their trunks so the kids can do their trick or trunking in a safe way. here is one of the decked out trunks I took a photo of.
My daughter bought her son's sweatshirt and the glow in the dark costume (jump suit), I hand painted the paper mache mask so that my grandson could wear it with his outfit but he didn't want to wear it for a long period of time so I made a candy bag out of it, the eye patch he wore the whole time we were walking around getting some candy for us, yes I said us *hee hee!

I'm excited as a new grandparent to share the holiday's, seasons and life with him, I'm looking forward to Christmas as I have a miniature village that I am adding to through the years I know he is going to love it, only thing is it's going to be set up high as he is in a grabbing curious mode lol!
Be Passionate!
Love, Rain
And truly it is! I'm back riding my bike and loving it! I have a child's bicycle seat hitched on the back of my bike so that my grandson can ride along with me, he loves being outdoors and swinging on the swings when we go to the park.
Be sure to click on the link I have other designs I've created and be sure to pop in from time to time to see what's new. Loving life!
Here is one of them. Person that made this custom order said that people thinks he's drunk due to having MS, so he's a bit fed up on having to tell people that he's not drunk, being a funny kind of guy he had me make this Tee for him.
What do you think? I love it!
If you would like for me to design a Tee for you let me know I'd love to make it happen. Oh! And there are more than just Tee shirts, we can get hoodies, tank tops, ball caps, coffee mugs and a lot more for women, teens and children.
This is one of my favorite banners, quite relaxing and peaceful would love to be lying on the beach at this moment *smiles*. All my banners and logos can be edited feel free to comment or message me at raindropps@live.com if you have any questions or are interested.
Next on my production list is some sewing ideas I have brewing and can't wait to get to them.

A lot of exciting things are taking place in my artistic adventure, and honestly it all started with a thought, which by the way is the same as a desire. I used to sit and wonder how could I bring a want or desire into fruition, so along the way I found two things that made it happen for me, my passion to do the things I love doing and how often I thought of doing what I love doing. Creating for me is a lovely peaceful feeling, I know that I belong sitting in my shop creating my Works of Heart, everyday all day I'm thinking of ideas and typing them in MS Notebook under the tab I named Brainstorms. As I'm creating I'm also anxiously looking forward to getting to the next idea, but I am being diligent and not jumping to much around, it's just like Netflix, when you want to see a movie sooner you move it up to the number one spot on your que heh heh!

Add your companies name or info here

Late June I joined this forum named "Linkedin" I've met the most wonderful people there that also share the love for the arts, they have shared their knowledge, experiences and have been an inspiration to me. Since then the door to my artistic adventure is wide open, I see the path that leads to my destination, it's going to be a fabulous adventure.
A few weeks ago I was drawing some designs in "Paint" while sitting there my thought was "I would love to do this for a living" next day I was messaged and asked if I done all the artwork in my Facebook photo album and that I could make a living doing this, need I say more.
Currently I'm creating Banners and Logos for web-based marketplaces, here are a couple more. Oh and by the way the watermarks on my banners and logos will be hidden also colors can be changed. Comment here or email me at raindropps@live.com if you would like to know the size and cost.

Like my banners I also design logo's for peoples web-based marketplaces, an example is the logo I created for my website Rain Dropps it's also my profile picture here on my blog . I am currently marketing my art for sale on my blog and other forums until my website is launched.
On my artwork I have either a watermark that says "Sample" or my Rain Dropps copyright, I did this to protect my graphic designs from copyright infringement, hope it works? FYI when the banner or logo is purchased I hide the watermark and or my copyright.

Along with my handcrafted originals my banners and logos are just as unique, I use out of the ordinary ideas and leave the imagination to my audience, browsers or for the serious business person looking for a logo that will be memorable.
Like my passions my ideas are never ending. Rain

They are used as advertisement on the World Wide web e.g.

web-based marketplaces like Rain Dropps.com, which by the way is closer to it's launch date.

Just Tell me what you want your banner to say...

We had the best of times munching on sweets that we baked the night before, shared lots of laughter, beautiful sister time and made some money. At that time I was painting eggs, like the images I posted here, rag dolls, miniature Christmas trees decorated with miniature handmade ornaments that I sculpted out of polymer clay. Dang! I never took one photo of my Works of Heart back then, I didn't even think of it. These two eggs I made back in the late 80's, thinking about it these can be considered as "Vintage". I have saved a few other eggs that I decorated that I will be posting in a couple of days, these have miniature figures that I sculpted out of polymer clay that sit up top the egg. I had repeat customers that looked forward to our boutiques and buying more of my eggs and dolls, I treasure those days with my sisters, later on my Dad made his wood creations and my Mom joined in the fun and made dolls and other cute creations. About my eggs; I use eggs right out of the carton, wash and let dry. I free hand the art work, at first I was buying the wooden stands, but I am one to recycle, so I started using caps from pop bottles, milk and juice cartons. Like my passions my ideas are never ending. I would love to hear your comments and if you'd like to "follow" me that would be lovely. My website will be launched soon, I will be posting on my home page when it's up and running. Hope you will "Dropp" by to browse and say hello. Rain
I have been creating my handcrafted Works of Heart for many years; from bridal attire to handmade dolls I have sold my creations privately at home boutiques; outdoor venues, also placed my items at a couple of stores on consignment at an old fashion shopping square called “Antique Row” in the City of Pomona, California. Like my passion my ideas are never ending.

Goals~Some have bucket or check lists, I have all my goals written on the pages of my scrapbook heart. My goals are ongoing; I see that when one goal is thought to be reached there is always something more attached to it for example I reached my goal of having a website, that “something more attached” is having a booming online business. Of course I’m not all business I have much more to accomplish in this wonderful life I call Rain's World.

Specialties ~

Jewelry, purses/bags, vintage inspirations, Native American pouches, medicine bags, gift bags are just to name a few. I specialize in creating what comes from my heart and soul; I do not limit myself to just one thing. The inspiration behind the name Rain Dropps is like the actual raindrops that fall from the sky, the same is with my inspired Works of Heart, you will see many different items and themes that are uniquely handcrafted and presented. I look forward to sharing all that I do with those that appreciate my creations I consider to be art.

When?
I'm having a few minor set backs but I continue to move forth, and to be patient and focused on what I want. Along with miracles I do believe that every thing is about timing. I will send out my announcement once it's up and running.

Yikes! Time surely waits for no one does it!

Okay so I was thinking of a A new way to give the gift of jewelry so I designed and handcrafted this gift bag. Instead of the usual gift box or bag I thought it would be neat to present your gift of jewelry via a purse-like gift bag. First I made my pattern then I used a red paper bag that I purposely "crinkled" to give a textured look of "pleather" (plastic leather).

Gift bag/purse is hand sewn accented with gold lace and wearable costume jewelry (earrings used on front of purse as buttons and necklace for handle ) to complete the ensemble.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm talking unique, one-of-a kind, original way of gifting jewelry to your special someone . Use this as the themed parties centerpiece with flowers, candy and or balloons, or put on the cake as a topper, there are so many ways to present this lovely gift bag. if the necklace you choose to buy is too dainty to display as the purses handle you can put in side the bag along with a perfume or body lotion...etc and leave the earrings on the front of the purse as a hint as to what's inside. This bag does have a few disclaimers, the gift bag is not meant to carry as you would a normal purse as it's paper, , the note card (handmade), paper and jewelry (earrings and necklace) are available if in stock. I would love to hear your input and thoughts about my gift bag.

As always Loving Life, Laughing, Zmiling,

Rain

It took me months to figure out what I wanted to use as my logo, after many, many ideas and drawings I finally designed my logo. Next I needed a name for my company so I approached my hubby with my logo and asked him to help me think of a name.

The Name -
My hubby came up with my companies name, he used the following combination to come up with Rain Dropps:
"Rain" being part of how I spell my name (Rain)
I am from Azteca Indian decent (Culture that used hieroglyphics to tell there story)
I love when it rains!
I wanted a name that is earthy, refreshing and memorable and that would be indicative of all I make:
~Just like there are many raindrops that fall from the sky, the same is with my web-shop, you will see many different items and themes that are uniquely handcrafted and presented~

The meaning behind my Logo
I wanted my logo to be personal, to depict who I am, the passion, love and thought that I put into everything I do, that is why I chose a female with her eyes closed visualizing, meditating and focused on family, life and business, bringing all desires into existence. It all starts with a thought followed by action.
The bouffant hairdo represents, the areas of growth in my life that transpire in the mind of Creativity, spirituality, knowledge and wisdom.
What also was important in my decision was I wanted a logo that can be used in numerous ways for advertising and marketing. The hairdo alone is limitless in ways I can use to promote my Works of Heart.

My Tag Line
Showers of Original Handcrafted items

From my heart to yours
Scripting this wonderful life is a must, it is not only about choices and consequences, it's living with a purpose, making your desires and thoughts come to life by bringing them in to fruition. I live life in the now, living with no regrets, inviting all that is lovely, peaceful and positive into my world, Rain's World.

I finished my pop-up business card that I had sitting on the back burner since last year. One day the idea "popped" in my brain, "I've never been handed a business card that featured a pop up" so I headed to my shoppe to design and create my pop up card, it was quite easy, all I did was add my already existing logo and my tag-line "Showers of Handcrafted Originals" verbiage and watermarked with some grey swirls I drew up in paint (unable to see on my card, they are the background to my tag-line) and Bam!! I was ready to create my pop up card. After printing up a sheet of 10 business cards using word, I took one of the cards and proceed to cut with a regular exacto-knife, but the edges came out really ridged, didn't have a fresh clean look, so I left sitting my my desk for about 6 months. Between working on some other brainstorms, household chores, spending happy days watching my grandson I squeezed in some research and found that a swivel exacto would do the trick. About a week ago from 4/16/11 my daughter had bought me my exacto swivel at Michael's Craftstore where she works part-time and was able to purchase the exacto at a nice discount, so yesterday 4/16/20011 I whipped it out and carefully cut around my Rain Dropps logo and voila! I took some pictures to share with my friends and family on Facebook and received a lot of positive feedback. I must say I love my pop up biz card, it has a fresh crisp bright look just like my website will have, I can't wait to share it with you. I will be posting my websites grand opening date soon.

Love Life, Laugh, Zmile!
Rain

Nothing I make is tossed together and put on my site. I spend weeks laying it out, I search until I find the perfect embellishments that will tie it all together. I'd like to say It stops there, but it doesn't. I research my market and the desirability for my creations, one of the ways that I do this is that I belong to several forums to gather input, pricing and feedback about my items. Although I categorize my items generically (Jewelry, purses, gift bags) on my website, each category has a Theme Line, for instance one of my lines I named RE-FASHIONED, what I do is take what already has been made then turn into lovely re-creations, you will get the idea when you go to the actual item and read the detailed descriptions. Naming my lines is a huge aspect as well, I ponder and search to find the perfect name that will compliment my Works of Heart.
If you like to follow me on some of the forums you can find me on Twitter, Facebook under Rain Dropps and on Rain Dropps Blog at www.raindroppsoriginals.blogspot.com , just mention "Rain Dropps Shoppe" and I will gladly accept your invite for the follow.
Treat yourself or give the gift of originality,

Rain Dropps
Love Life, Laugh, Zmile!

Due to unhealthy diets majority of people are deficient in EFA’s.
My platform for a well balance healthy life is what I call the 5 Pillars of health~ you can't have one without the other, at least this is what I believe, if you tie them all together it makes sense. Here they are 1-5
1. Spirituality ~ In my life, one of the biggest part of what holds me together is my Faith, you need to have faith in the Almighty and yourself.
2. Supplementation ~ How one incorporates vitamins, supplements and other "natural" remedies into your daily health regimen.
3. Diet ~ The foods and beverages you choose to fortify your body each day
4. What you do to physically challenge your body beyond your required daily activities
5. Mental Health ~ How you feel about yourself, your relationships. Mental health includes self-esteem, stress management and self-fulfillment (doing the things you love and implementing in your life daily if possible)

Utilizing the 5 pillars makes sense, however if one does all of the above but skips number 3, there will be a break in the chain, and will be harder to obtain the goal of feeling rejuvenated and healthy and of course consistency is detrimental in sustaining a healthy vibrant life.

So lets' skip to numero 2~Supplementation for healthy skin. At the end of my blog I listed all the benefits of taking EFA’s how they benefit, it really is a miracle supplement.

There are a numerous amount of supplements you can take for healthy skin, Vitamin D is one, I do take my D, my source for maintaining healthy skin is, hydration, good ole’ H20. I don't pound the water as it's unhealthy to drink too much, but I won't go into that otherwise you will be reading for days : )
I use BPA approved containers. Google “benefits of using BPA containers” for yourself, if you’re not up to speed, or check out this link http://greenbottleonline.com/articles/switch_to_bpa-free.html.
I also juice fresh veggies and fruits to get the full benefit (nourishment) that bottled juices can't touch.
I don't use any skin products with harmful chemicals or have synthetic colors or fragrances. Avoid petroleum-based products, and those that contain methyl- ethyl- and propl-paraben, these are just a few chemicals that work against your skin. Certain foods can cause allergic reactions and can show up on your skin, everyone is different you will have to discover that by either going to the doctor so they can perform a skin allergy test, or do what I do, a process of elimination. I'm very in tune with what my body needs and what it does not need. It will take time and patience if you do it yourself but in the long run your will be glad you did.
I do mini cleanses with teas, some nutritionist recommend a total cleanse twice a year. You can find those types of "total" cleanses at the Vitamin Shoppe if you have them in your area or your neighbor vitamin store. Make sure you read what’s in the “cleanse” or any supplement you buy and ask the store sales person for assistance, at the Vitamin Shoppe they really know their stuff!
Since I can remember I had a rash that would come and go, when it did it was bad, I would scratch so hard that I bled and scabbed and darkened that skin area and was leathery (I know TMI) haha! It initially started on my ankle, then would move to different areas of my body like my back, different parts of my legs even my scalp.
My skin has recovered since I been using the 5 pillars and supplementing my body with EFA’s. I only have one very small area that is not as itchy, and I know it will soon be gone baby gone!!
I watch what I eat; I don't use sugar substitutes like Splenda. I do not use perfumes anymore on my skin, in the past I just spayed on my clothes lightly, but I haven't in a long while, I know it’s hard for some women to leave their “Juicy Couture” scents behind, thank goodness I’m not about name brands. They sell natural scents to make a women smell just as juicy. All my body and facial soaps, lotions are natural, I only touch up my roots with a natural tint, it’s not necessary to do the whole head of hair,....I think you get my point.
It's hard for some people to really realize how all this can disturb our bodies natural ability to heal itself when we are infecting our bodies with all the unhealthy crap, sorry but that's what it is.
Okay so finally! How to get those lovely EFA’s in our system~
I know I mentioned I don’t like name brands, but hehe, I don’t buy just any brand when it comes to supplementations, like the Omega 3's I take. I buy Dr. Udo's 3-6-9 blend "Omega Fatty Acids" (180 capsules for about $30.00) you can find at a vitamin store. My hubby and I aren’t the only ones in the house that take Dr. Udo’s blend, I give two gel tabs a day to my dog Chase, she had major joint pain and inflammation, but it's all gone now. She hurt so bad she didn't even want to get up, only took about 3 weeks for her to be up and running, and even stomping, yep she’s back to her ole demanding self, love it! (update since this blog, my dog Chase was spayed, will be posting blog on this subject)
Besides Dr. Udo’s blend, and several other supplements I take, I just recently started taking "Oceans 3" by "Garden of Life" Omega 3, this particular supplement includes menopause and hormonal support. Since I started Oceans 5 my skin feels and looks healthier and I don’t get anymore hot flashes, prei-menopause just got better to deal with.
EFA’s benefit in the following~
Cardiovascular health
Cholesterol, High blood pressure
Brain development
Eye development
Skin health
Inflammation
Join Health
Immune support
Memory
Digestive health
Mental/mood disorders: depression, ADD, ADHD, etc.
Menopause Hot flashes

This list are signs and symptoms of becoming EFA deficient.
Dry skin
Itchy skin
skin problems (eczema, etc)
poor memory
heart disease
poor circulation
mood problems (depression, ADD, etc)
fatigue
Immune weakness
hormone imbalance

Now aside from not getting enough of the good fats, these are the factors that contribute to being deficient in EFA's;
alcohol consumption
sugar consumption
aging
saturated fats and trans-fatty acids
diabetes
stress
prescription meds

Knowledge is power we just have to take the time to search it out, inquire, then experiment to see what and what will not work and lastly diligence is king!
, Rain

She is a beautiful large breed from the mastiff family. Chase was given to us, the original owner was unable to take care of her due to an injury, to the owner that is, not Chase. She was about one year and a half when we got her, calm and very loving, and very needy, my hubby calls her the black hole of neediness, which I have to admit she is purddy needy, she is learning to take her turn at being petted, well! most of the time.

If you know a bit about large breeds, then you might know that they tend to have bone and joint issues and supposedly they "retire" earlier than a medium or small dog would.
This is my first round with a dog this size, I've had big dogs, but not this big and strong, oy vey she's strong!

Let me jump into why I'm blogging about "Healthy Pet Solutions" It starts with my belief in listening and giving your body what it needs. I'm big on vitamins, minerals, hydration, healthy eating, portion control and the list goes on. From my personal experience I've seen the healing effects of consistently taking vitamins to help in different areas or issues that my body requires. For instance I "used" to have watery eyes (allergies) to the point where wearing make up was a waste of time, my eyes watered so much that my eye makeup would smear off because I was constantly wiping them. Another issue I had was constant headaches, I lived most of my life with a headache just about everyday and it took about 3 weeks to end that. I did some research on what herbs I could take to relieve my headaches and watery eyes, and found that these two herbs were the secret to my healing, one is called "Feverfew" I took it for about 3 weeks then one day it hit me, I remember telling my husband "omg, I haven't had a headache in a while".

It's one of the greatest feelings. The other greatest feelings is the ability to wear eye make up and keep it on for the whole day, this too is a miracle! For my watery eyes I'm taking an herb called Nettle leaf, works wonders for allergies, the key is that you have to be consistent for herbs to work.

Back to my Cane Corso Chase, she was having major difficulties walking up the stairs, sometimes she was so weak she'd slide down a couple of steps, it was heart breaking. So I did my research, for the last several months I've been diligently giving her Glucosamine 500 mg & Chondroition 400 mg with MSM 500 mg and for about a month "Udo's Oil 3-6-9 Blend" Omega Fatty Acids which are for healthy joints. You should see her now, she is stomping, walking, running up and down the stairs , rolling around the ground, no more limp when she walks, she is all perky, you can see the difference in her face, she is not all droopy eyed anymore, it truly is amazing how well these supplements work. One other thing I'd like to share about her is that her breath was horrible!! I tried brushing her teeth, giving her fresh mint to chew on, mint water, mouthwash for dogs, sprayed Colloidal Silver in her mouth, nothing seemed to work. Again did my research and found that "Olive Leaf" herb would do the trick, guess what!? Yes indeed, it worked in about 3 to 4 days her "horrible" breath is gone.

Key to health is to keep your mind open, do your research find out what will work and what will not by trying out the product. I like to take challenges, and experiment in healthy ways to find solutions to live a healthy positive happy life. Right now I'm still learning what my body can do and what it can't, my research for a continued healthy life style will go on for my family and furry fours, only I can make this happen for me.

So the moral of this info is "What is good for the goose is good for the gander" Best wishes to you and your furry fours health! Love, Rain

p.s. if you have any questions feel free to comment or message me : )

I've met some awesome people that I've become very found of and am looking forward to a long lasting friendship with them all. One of my many wishes that are in my bucket is to meet up with them one day, maybe not all at once I know, but one at a time would be lovely. I've found the Internet to be a great tool to meet fabulous people, it's not "creepy" as people thought it was years ago, well, I know it can be, but as far as finding real relationships it is totally possible, after all I met the love of my life on the Internet.
Every day I'm closer to the things that I'm scripting out in my life, making my plans, following my passions, making sure that I don't get caught up in the chaos that surrounds us everyday. My goal is to make my life happy, as you know no one can do that for you. Life is certainly a dance and we do learn as we go.
p.s. Rain Dropps~ closer than you think! My Name is Rain, I was born in the warm month of July, grew up in Sunny California. I now reside with my hubby in the Winter Water Wonder Land State of Michigan.
I strongly believe that surrounding yourself and doing the things you absolutely love is one of the main keys to what keeps your mind, body, soul and spirit alive, healthy and passionate to live life to the fullest. Crafting for me is very therapeutic and brings me great peace and healing. Everything that I create is crafted in the spirit of Love.
I agree with the saying that “Life is too short”, it truly is a necessity to fulfill your life with the desires of your heart. Living life is having no regrets, today is the day to begin and it’s never too late to start. I encourage you to script out your life and make your dreams a reality, make time for your passions, then one day you will find yourself doing it full time as I am currently doing.
My favorite Things are spending time with my Father, daily visualizing new ways to create my ideas, photography, exercising to my favorite tunes, seeing the beauty of Gods art work that surrounds me, windy days, the sound of a train in the distance, my two dogs Helga and Chase that I absolutely adore! Dogs are a big part of any healing process, after all “dog spelled backwards spells god”. It’s no wonder why they are called our best friends.

One of my many favorite scriptures:“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” Philippians 4:13

What I am grateful for:“The peace that surpasses all understanding”
Philippians 4:7

Favorite quote: "If I have seen further, it is because I am standing on the shoulders of a giant" Sir Issac Newton

Favorite book: Word of God, and so many more

Favorite Author: Emmet Fox

My Mantra: Team Work Makes the Dream Work!

My lifestyle: Loving life, Laughing, Seizing the day and smiling a whole lot!

I love sharing my creations with as many people as I can, so be sure to tell your friends and family to grab their umbrella's and experience the happy showers of Rain Dropps!

Thank you for visiting me here on My Blog Spot.

To live life doing what you love is passion!

Things like I'll drive you to work, pick your child up from school, maybe do the grocery shopping for someone? The list goes on and on. What about those promises you have made for you? Those commitments to improve your education, your spiritual walk, your health and to exercise for a stronger youthful you. I know for myself I've put a few on the back burner. But lately I've been really working on a lot of areas in my life and have seen positive transformation in my body, spirit and how I feel about myself. One thing that is important about making promises or what we also call commitments is that they are words to encourage and improve ourselves, and to remind us that we are important, as the saying goes ~ no one can care or love for us like we can. Also these two powerful words are not words that put us in bondage, or to condemn us if we don't pursue them. A promise, a commitment are meaningful encouraging reminders to assist us on staying on the path of who we want to be, where we want to go and what we want to achieve in our lives. My promise to myself is to continue to love, create peace by being at peace, eat healthy, exercise, enjoy the beauty of this earth, continue to meet wonderful people that really do help you improve our well being by listening to what they have to share about there lives. What have you promised to yourself? I hope you find this encouraging and that you continue on your journey to what you want in your life.
My research was mainly online, I did read several articles in some of my favorite health magazines that I get monthly, and I even talked to a few gals that used mineral makeup themselves. While I was in California late Jan of this year I thought I take a trip to Sephora. Sephora is the home depot of cosmetics, perfumes, hair and body's one stop shop, with a womens touch of course. You can find the best brands there and also sample the items you are searching for. The gal that helped me was very knowledgable and helpful which made my visit worth while. After reading labels, trying samples and getting my questions anwered I was able to make a wise decision as to which brand I was going to buy. My decision was unanimous! I loved the way the product called "Bare Ecentuals" matched with my skin tone, not only that, I loved the way it glided on my face, how it brightened my complexion, And! on the box it reads "makeup so pure you can sleep in it" Perfect! I'm not in the habit of sleeping with my face on, but just incase I do I won't feel so guilty heehee!
Surprise, surprise, the kit comes with a dvd, what doesn't these day! I viewed it and did learn some extra tips on applying and found out more about what this product has to offer. One last thing the kit comes with 2 foundations one for winter when skin is fare, and one for summer when skin will be darker, one bronzer, and one other that is called the"veil", a primer and three brushes, all for $60.00. Fabulous for my face and pocket! Hope you found this bit of information helpful, if so leave me a comment. Onward!
