Valentine's Day is just around the corner & big thanks to Rebecca for the invite & Advertlets for giving us bloggers the opportunity to participate in the waffle making session with Geláre. Each blogger is allowed to bring a partner with him/her & without any further thoughts, the boyf shall be my date for the night. Thinking of it, isn't romantic to make waffles together with your other half? heh.. We were all so hyped up for it.
Unfortunately, on the day itself the manager wasn't around. We couldn't have the 'waffle making session' but we'll still get to enjoy their pancakes & pipping hot waffles.
Every couple is entitled to a plate of pancakes with choices of toppings ; banana, blueberry & strawberry. Not only that, we get to enjoy pipping hot crispy waffles with 2 toppings of Geláre ice cream and a bottle of 100% pure juice. Sounds good doesn't it?!

I wasn't very keen on strawberry flavour but surprisingly it tasted awesomely good on the waffles.

My 20th Birthday Blast

I've finally turned twenty. Can't believe it that time flies. I'm no longer living in the world of 'teens' *geez* I'm getting older & feeling older. I would say, this year's birthday blast is one of the best I've ever had in so many years. It was like a never ending celebration with all my love ones. Everyone made it so special and memorable for me! *big hugs for y'all*

In the morning, I celebrated with my high school besties! They decided to bring me for dim sum @ Imbi Palace. Kok siang was such a gentleman for the day. He pick all of the girl and drops us home. Thanks Kok Siang! I was told be ready by 10am and we'll have dim sum. Once we got there at 1040am, Imbi Plaza was still closed. They only open at 1130..swt.. We decided to do a lil' shopping while waiting for them to open. We hop over to Times square since it's nearby. In the meantime I wanted to get a dress for tonight's dinner. Luckily I managed to spot a lovely lacey dress with a huge bow at the back. After that, we had dim summmm!

January's updates

Holla sweeties!

Sorry for the delay but here I am to update you on January's post that i've missed :)
I know this is late but still, I wanna wish y'all Happy New Year. Let's welcome the year of 2011 with wide open arms and hope for a better year compared to 2010. Last year had been a blast but I hope this year will top what I had for last year & same to all of you who are reading this! May all of you have a fruitful year ahead :D

Let's start of with...

Sunday (2. 01. 11)
Attended church at SIB KL. It's my new home church as I've left calvary. I'm still trying to adapt to the new environment & meeting new faces every week. I do miss attending calvary cause it's where i grew up from attending nursery --> carpenter's workshop --> sanctuary. I feel at home when i'm in calvary but not in anywhere else. However, many issues has been running in calvary from quite some time & my parent's aren't too happy with what's going on so they decided to leave :( It's sad to see a church who was once so strong and influential could fall & disappoint others. Anyways, back to my updates..lol..
Just 2 days before, I had a chat with my bestie, Dorie. She suggested that I should celebrate my 20th birthday. After putting much of thought, I decided to have a small celebration this year. I was flipping through my Juice Mag and I found Movida. After church, sis & i went over to Sunway Giza to meet up with the boyf to survey Movida. The place looks pretty good and I made a reservation to have dinner on my birthday itself which is the 4th of Jan.
After that, we went over to Sportville to foos a lil' & watched the boyf hit some keys on the piano in a nearby music shop..hehe..not too long after that I left for my facial appt. @ Curve.

Monday (3. 01. 11)
Woohoo! My bb's bis plan has finally been activated after 1 week..swt.. They were so inefficient on activating my plan after purchasing the phone. They really got on my nerves. I had to keep calling in and checking the status and rushing them to activate my stupid plan. Anyways, I can finally start bbm-ing, twittering and facebooking. During lunch time, I head over to Empire Gallery to meet up with my babes sorta to celebrate Gen's belated birthday/ christmas/ new year all at once. Unfortunately, many couldn't make it but we still had it going. I was tad bit late and i missed Lianne but managed to catch Gen before she ran back to work. So it was just Mun mun, Steve & myself. Not long after that the boyf came over and join me during his lunch break. After that, I dropped him back in uni and waited in the library till he finishes his class. For the entire 1.5 hours I was busy exploring bbm world of apps..Lol. Yumcha with bie & Jason after his class and head back to Empire bout 7ish to celebrate Amy babe's 20th birthday @ Italianniese. Towards the end, the boyf came over to join me & when we left and I got into his car...He surprised me with a cake specially baked by himself *meltss* That was just so sweeet of him! I was stunned that he actually took the effort to bake when he know nuts bout baking..haha!
I had a taste of it and it was soooo good! What a lovely chocolate moist cake. I would say, It was the sweetest thing ever someone had ever did for my birthday. Thankyousomuch bie! *mwahs*

geeez, I'm feeling old. No more living in the world of teens already..lol

Wednesday (5. 01. 11)
It was so heart warming looking at all the wonderful and thoughtful wishes in fb & twitter. I sat in the whole day and replied all 460 wishes in 3 hours. After that, I had butt cramp for sitting at one spot for too long. lol. Later in the evening, my family and I went over to Kiaramas Ayuria Condo, which is just right opposite mine for a house warming gathering. The aunty stays at the 31st floor in a duplex and the view overlooking the city was spectacular. We could see both the KL Tower and as well as the Twin Tower.

Thursday (6. 01. 11)
Head over to the boyf's place in the morning & went our for ss19's pan mee with bie's younger bro, Henry & Jeff. Coincidentally, I bumped into Tania at the same coffee shop. After that, we dropped by at bie's ex school, smk subang utama for Henry to certified some documents. I dropped by at my uni to settle my subs enrollment & went over to AC to look for them. As usual, they're foos-ing over there.
At night, bout 1ish Mel & Dorie came and pick me for yc & we had a short one @ Souled Out.

Friday (7. 01. 11)
The boyf came over for a swim, jacuzzi & gym. Not long after that, we got ready and left for my belated birthday lunch. The boyf suggested to tryout Tao Authentic Asian Cuisine & Sushi @ Sunway Giza *excited*

I went out with a naked face cause the boyf says I look best without any make up on..awww..I hardly step out of the house with zero make up on but this time I did just for the boyf. What matters the most, is what the boyf thinks right? heh :)

We had an amazing time enjoying the buffet and we ate quite a bit. We were so bloated after the meal.
The spread wasn't too bad. Some of the dishes are served at the self service corner for you to pick, where else the rest (the good & more expensive ones) are in the menu. We can order anything we like from the menu..ANYTHING! :D
After a satisfying lunch, we went over to sportsville to foos a little & the boyf dropped me home before he had back to uni to rush his project..aww* thanks bie for taking the time and effort to spare some time to take me out *big hugs*

Tuesday (11. 01. 11)
Had lunch with the boyf @ Lucky Garden, Bangsar. After that we head to Midvalley to catch a movie.
Finally I got watch the show that i've always wanted ever since it started screening, it's Rapunzel! I know right..i feel so outdated myself. Thank god mv is one of the few cinemas that still have Rapunzel on screen :) It was definitely worth the watch. I enjoyed every bits of it. I think the boyf did too!

Wednesday (12. 01. 11)

Had a dinner date with Dorie babe & her sis Esther. At 1st we planned to have dinner @ The Hills. Last min, we decided to just go somewhere nearby and we went over to Souled out to grab some pizzas & nachos.

After that we head to Murni Discovery @ Aman Suria for yumcha with a few of dorie's friend, Jerrard, Zhuo Li & Bryan. Later that night, i bunked in dorie's place <3

Thursday (13. 01. 11)
Woke up super early in the morning cause i needed to head home to prepare brekkie and feed the baby boy.. lol.. But i didn't have sufficient time to prepare so i left for the boyf's place without brekkie.
However, I did make him lunch at his place. He wanted to have egg so I made him egg sandwich :)
After that I pigged on his bed while waiting for him to finish up his portfolio. His bed was too comfy that I felt asleep instantly and pigged for an hour till he woke me up. Head over to Taylor's later and submitted his portfolio right on time.

Friday ( 14. 01. 11)
Brought sis & bro out for lunch after school. After that we head over to Sonymusic @Solaris Dutamas to collect our 2PM cd - Still 2PM :) It has finally arrived after a long wait. However, the wait was worth it! Thanks to Sony Music, sis & myself got 2 copies of 2PM & a copy of Keshia's album. Fyi, I'm a sucker for 2PM. Only 2PM! hehe. In the evening, the boyf came over to join dad and my golf buddies for a game of badminton. It was cute seeing the boyf teaming with dad and playing together. The boyf was fully equipped, he brought squash racquet & table tennis bats at well. After badminton, we played a lil' squash and table tennis with my lil' bro.

Tuesday (25. 01. 11)
Prepared lunch for the siblings & the boyf. It was yee mee for lunch. Head over to the boyf's place bout 10 ish and met his god grandma for the 2nd time. Had lunch together & thank god I brought enough yee mee for everyone *phew* Teman-ed the boyf as he prepares for his final paper on the next day while i laze around and pigged on his comfy bed. I love watching the boyf while he studies. The muka serious..so cute..lol. In the afternoon, sampat abit and watched god grandma (popo) cook french toast for tea time *yummeh* She's so cute & cool for a grandma. I love being around her cause she so friendly. In the evening, accompanied the boyf to pick his bro up from Sunway uni & not too long after that I left for Bangsar to pick mummy up otw home.

Thursday (27. 01. 11)
Head over to the boyf's place. Lazed around. Cooked lunch and we did house chores together. What's next, we even bath gigi (boyf's terrier). I meant the boyf bathed her while I watched and get wet. lol. I helped to blow dry her fur and comb them. haha. I miss having a dog like I used to when I was a little girl. I can't even have one right now cause I'm living in a condo. so yeah no pets are allowed *sad case*
After that, we went over to the boyf's club ( Sunway Club). We gym-ed a lil' & played snooker. The boyf is pro shiets. He taught me a lot & I had a great time learning from my sifu..heh. We wanted to swim as well but it was getting late & we had to pick Jun up from uni so we left early. After that we went over to ss15 for Aunty June. We had a early dinner & we over to ac to foos a little :)

Friday (28. 01. 11)
It was time to shop for cny clothes. Sis, bro & myself went down to the city center to meet dad after his appointment & we shop at Times Square & Sg Wang. Surprisingly, the fashion hasn't change much and there weren't many choices for 'cny clothing'. We saw mostly dull colours instead of cny colours like red and pink..lol. I didn't really managed to get a new outfit for cny but thankful I got myself a few tops during the last year end sale :) As for dinner, we ate at Teppanyaki. After that, we continued to shop for a bit and hop over to Sg. Wang.

Saturday (29. 01. 11)
In the evening, I got a ride on mum's car to sunway piramid to catch Mun Mun for a ride to Paul's Farewell gathering at Kota Kemuning. To avoid the massive traffic around sunway area, Mun Mun decided to pick me up from Sunway uni. All i had to do was to take the 5 mins canopy walk which links Sunway Piramid to Sunway Uni. It was so convenient. She pick me up and me met up with Shenay at her place and we left for KK. We were one of the latest to arrive and we were left with leftovers. That's what Paul's mum said. lol. It was nice to see all the sunway-ian as I haven been seeing them for quite some time eversince I've left sunway a year ago.
Thanks for the invite Paul! All the best for ure studies in Melb and you'll be greatly missed by all of us!

Sunday (30. 01. 11)
Accompanied mummy to sunway as she drops sis off for bowling training @ Sunway Piramid's Comic Bowl. The boyf came and pick me & mummy up from piramid for dessert. Wanted to have Snowflakes at SS15 but unfortunately it's closed for renovation till the 5th of Feb. So for those of you who wants to have Snowflakes in SS15, pls bare in mind that they're still closed.
We then hopped over to Hong Kong Dessert for warm desserts. It was nice that we get to sit down & have a chat & for mummy to get to know the boyf better :) Good berbonding session.

Hey Dearies,

I know it's been far too long since I've last updated my blog. So sorry for the delay. Life's been pretty hectic during the month of December 10'. Last december was a BLAST! I'll tell you guys why. Scroll down bit by bit & you'll see how much fun I was having. By far it's the best summer break i've ever had *woots* So much has been happening and I could hardly find time to sit down to edit pics, upload em' and blog. So yeah, my blog was practically dead for almost a month. Honestly, I felt bad for owing you guys updates on exciting events that i've attended and on what has been happening around me.
There's much to share with you guys :)
So be prepared for my blast of updates...

Tuesday (21. 12. 10)
Went for ice skating with terence @ Sunway Piramid after lunch hour. It was pretty expensive to skate as it was still in the midst of school holidays. Entrance fees was twice the normal rate & the skating rink was packed. I've always love skating since I was a little girl back then & i'd missed the ice. As far as I could remeber, the last time i was on ice was 4 years back..LOL! That was pretty long ago and I simply had no one to accompany me..so yeah..I was pretty rusty. Nonetheless, I had an amazing time skating with him even though it was just the 2 of us. 1st thing that he did that got me went WOW, was when he actually kneeled down and tied my skate's lace for me & helped me untied my anklet *awww* isn't that the sweetest thing a guy would ever do for a girl. I believe not just any guy would be bold enough to do it. That got my jaws dropped wide open.We were on ice for 4 hours and we went in circles like a gazillion time & he would catch or hold me tight whenever I was unable to balance on my own. It felt so good to know that someone will always be there to catch you're back when you're about to fall. I felt secure being around him because i trust that he'll watch after me and catch me when I fall. I could never feel anymore secure than being wrapped tightly in his arms. By far, it was one of the best & most memorable skating moments I've ever had. After hours on ice, our legs got sore & we decided to hop out from ice. Shortly after that, we head over to Club 9 for a game of pool. We had a lil' challenge & he beat me flat..lol! After a couple of games, our tummies were growling and we decided to have dinner. What could possibly serve faster than fast food restaurants right? Without further thinking, we head towards McDonald's to grab a bite and sat on a view overlooking sunway lagoon. I didn't know the view in sunway lagoon would look so pretty during the night. After dinner, we hop over to MOS to crash some event but we didn't stay for long.

Thursday (23. 12. 10)
Went over to ou with the boyf to shop around & he brought me to a music shop and he played the piano for me for the 1st time..awww *melts* he amazed me with such wonderful talent & i never knew he could play so well. He's just-oh-so-talented!

After that, we decided to catch a movie. We ended up watching Vampire Warriors (our first movie together). The boyf and I both agree that it was a doink doink show cause there's no proper storyline but it was hilarious. Silly but funny.

Friday (24. 12. 10)
Christmas eve has finally arrived. It was no biggie this year, we decided to stay in for dinner cause daddy said he'll be cooking for the family. Fyi, daddy only cooks during special occasion..haha :)
We had a lovely dinner together. Daddy cooked grilled beef, creamy mushroom soup & vege.
I could not think of anything better than spending christmas eve dinning with the family at home :)

Saturday (25. 12. 10)
Today shouts Christmas! Happy Christmas to all! I would say, this year's christmas was rather quiet.
We did not have a big hoo-haa celebration. In the evening, my family and I head over to my uncle's place for a small dinner gathering. Most of our relatives had left for holidays, so it was just a couple of us having a celebrating a quite christmas. However, it still felt very warm with everyone's company. Anyway, I hope y'all had an awesome christmas celebration!

Sunday (26. 12. 10)
It's MadWorld today! As some of you may have heard, it's a musical production performed by young and talented youngsters. My friend Kenny Shim was one of the main actor. It was beautifully presented at SIB, KL.

Not only that, today it's also very very special day. Today marks the day where I officially got together with the boyf, Terence bie *bigwidesmiless*
Thanks for being there for me when i needed someone the most. You were there to walked me through the toughest times & I never felt alone! I'm glad and proud to be a part of your life and to have you as a part of my mine as well. Together hand in hand we will walked through the rest of the days with never ending happiness. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us ♥

Monday (27. 12. 10)
Day out with the family. 1st destination for the day was a spa retreat @ Reborn, Puchong. Finally got to pamper myself *wee* I had a back massage, slimming wrap & foot spa :)

After that, we had spicy pan mee & head right away to Sunway Piramid do some shopping. What we call, after christmas shopping. lol. Wanted to get my whiteberry from maxis but unfortunately, their system was downnn. It's the 2nd that I've encountered the same situation from this outlet. What a disappointment.
Not long after that, we head over to KLCC cause daddy wanted to do something over there & at the same time I could get my bb from Maxis's HQ. It was a huge disappointment when I found out that they don't carry white bb for bold 3 (9780). They only had black..swt. Oh wells, last stop for the day was e@Curve's Maxis ctr where I first laid eyes on the whiteberry.

After that, we head over to ss2 for dinner @ the streets of hawker food. Coincidentally, it was ss2's pasar malam night. Oh boy, i miss going to pasar malams & i forgot ss2's one falls on a monday..lol. We fed our tummies and took a walk in the pasar malam. Not long after that, the boyf came over to pick me up for yumcha. I bet y'all must be wondering why didn't i spend christmas with him right? haha.. He was in Penang for christmas & just got back today. He was sweet enough to drive all the way to come see even though he was really tired from his trip back from Penang. We went over to Hartamas's Old Town to yumcha & catch up on each other :)

Tuesday (28. 12. 10)
I went over to Taylor's Lakeside Campus to look for the boyfie and waited for him to get his things done at the workshop. He was busy working with project on building a mini electric car for the coming AmBank Engineering Fair. We head over to Pju for back to uni. Not long after that I left to join my family for movie at Tropicana City Mall. We watched Gulliver's Travel. It was hilarious! Don't miss it.

Happy Tong Yuen Festival! Everyone seems to be happily enjoying making and eating tong yuen with their family but I had none at home. Mummy forgot to buy the dough to make em' :(
What enlightened my mood was knowing that i'll be meeting up with my cousie sis, Drea for yumcha.
She picked me up around 10 ish and we head to Solaris Dutamas's Papparich for tong yuen..lol!
We had a really good time having a heart-to-heart talk together. Thanks for being there for me and hearing me out dearie! I appreciate it so much. I couldn't think of anyone else better other than you :)
We sat in till Papparich shut off their lights. It was bout 11ish and we switch spot to a mamak nearby and waited for the boyf and Kevin to join us. The four of us had a great time yumcha-ing together and we left bout 1 ish. Thanks bie bie for coming all the way! ♥

Thursday (30. 12. 10)
The boyf and I went for a jogging date @ Ttdi Park. He was so sweet to wake up early in the morning and came all the way just to jog with me. After jogging and long walks in the park we left and head home for badminton. We whacked a couple of shuttle cocks and shoot some hoops with my lil' bro. Soon it was already lunch time & the 3 of us went over to Desa for lunch. It was nice to see that my lil' bro can bond so well with the boyf. They even plan on ditching me for movies and stuff. lol
After lunch, we wanted to grab some ice cream from the nearby Mcd's @ Plaza Mont' Kiara. To my surprise, Mcd's had NO ice cream. I was like are you kidding me?! swt. I went next door to Yippee Cup to grab some bubble tea instead. It was a bliss on such a hot weather.
In the evening, had thai bbq dinner with the family @ Nong & Jimmy, Ampang. It's my 3rd time visiting & for once we were actually early. We got seats right away when we got there and food was served one after another.

Friday (31. 12. 10)

It's New Year's Eve & I woke up having muscle aches all over my body. Thanks to being all ambitious on running, jogging and playing so many sports all at the same time. I'm so not used to being all that fit anymore..lol. Now it reminds me that I should start getting my ass up by starting to hit the gym again..haha. Anyways, what a torture to have muscle aches.. I hated it so much! During lunch time, the boyf came and pick me up & we head to mv. He saved my day. He got me panadol extend for muscle & joint pain. It was ahh-mazing that it relieves pain instantly. I popped 2 of it into my mouth & within half an hour time, pain was GONE :)

After that, we left for subang & had lunch in AC. Dropped by at one of the saloons nearby and waited for the boyf to get his new hair cut. As for dinner, we had bbq at the boyf's friend's place & hop over to Mos to celebrate nye with a bunch of his friend. We had such great company and by far it was one of the best nye celebration i've ever had. Indeed a memorable one. Big fat thanks to the boyf for planning out everything *hugs* :)

Welcome to Galactic Laser!

Thanks to Advertlets, our fellow bloggers were given the opportunity to have some fun with Galactic Laser Tag @ Midvalley. We had a crowd of 40 bloggers to join the fun. It was my very 1st time and I was pretty much excited. We had to be there by 11am. Sis and myself arrived tad bit late but we were just in time to register ourselves before the counter closed.

Thanks to Jason for the last minute invite, I managed to attend Juice Mag Bars & Clubs 2010, 2011 launch @ Ecoba, PJ Trade Centre. Event started from 5-7pm with free flow of Carlsberg.
Me & sis arrived slightly passed 5 and we thought we were late. To our surprise, we were one of the earliest after Feeq & Jeremy. Basically the event was to chill and enjoy ourselves with their massive flow of Carlsberg & light refreshments.

Sport Car Charity Event

Sport Car Charity Event & also AMAE showcased a special martial arts demonstration @ Bangsar Village's valet parking spot. In conjunction with Bangsar Village's "Kids' for kids" fund, foundation and JTCars.net Supercars charity drive, there were about 70 hot smoking Ferraris, Porsches, Lotuses and Lamborghinis giving rides to patrons who donates RM30 towards the "Kids for Kids" fund. Everyone who donated was given a fair chance of choosing their ride. For only RM 30 and you'll get a ride in one of the super car of your choice. I would say, It was pretty worth it. It's not like any other day you'll get an opportunity to ride in one of these super cars.

AMAE also showcased a special martial arts demonstration featuring the Malaysian Representatives of the upcoming "Malaysia vs The Rest of the World" Fight Night.

While awaiting their turn to ride in the super cars, eager fans of martial arts were treated to demonstrations of Tomoi and Wai Kru by 8 of the best Malaysian Tomoi exponents.

7aste New York 2010 was held @ Hex & Mayfair, PJ Trade Centre.
The event starts at 7.30pm but me & sis got there a little late cause we had an appointment for hair treatment with snips in kl. It was raining heavily in town and we got caught up with the traffic.
We quickly rush home, got dolled up, grab a quick bite and left for 7ASTE.
Got there bout 8ish and surprisingly we were one of the earliest compared to the rest of the bloggers.
We waited for Jeremy and the rest to arrived before we got in.

Did you guys swing by Taylor's this weekend for the Open Day at Lakeside Campus?
I sure did cause I didn't want to miss out all the FUN and EXCITEMENT!
I was extremely excited to try out the Hot Air Balloon & that was the 1st thing I did when I got there.
It was quite an experience as I was my 1st time. The view from above was amazing as I get to have a clear view of the entire campus.

Right after the ride, I head over to the multipurpose hall to check out the many courses offered by Taylor's.
Many booth were set up nicely and counselors were greeting us with a warm smile on their face.
Out of the many booth that were scattered all around the hall, School of Medicine caught my attention.
Without hesitating, I went towards the booth and I was greeted with a warm welcome from one of the counselor. She sat me down on a table and carefully explained the various field in pursuing Medicine.

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

* Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a five-year programme to equip students with knowledge in the basic medical sciences for first 2 years and 3 years exposure to clinical medicine.
The home-grown medical programme at Taylor's is an integrated problem-based curriculum with departmental clinical rotations in the clinical years.

Phase I of the programme (Year 1 and 2), the curriculum covers basic medical sciences with introductory clinical exposure. Foundations in communication skills, medical ethics and community health will be spread across the phase. Students will also be introduced to medical research. Students will also be given the opportunity to select certain topics in the Special Study Modules (SSM) to allow them to explore subjects of their interest in more depth.

Phase II (Year 3, 4 and 5), students will go into different clinical rotations medicine, surgery, paediatrics, O&G, orthopaedics and others.
PhilosophyThe MBBS Programme is designed to produce medical doctors who are:

competent, highly-skilled and knowledgeable
able to work with others in a team

How will the programme be taught?

The programme utilises integrate medical curriculum incorporating problem-based learning. Students are introduced to medical research, student-selected components as well as electives. The programme aims to provide students who are lifelong learners as well as prepare them for entry to Partner Medical School.

Who are the lectures?

The faculty is led by Dr Abdul Rahman Noor, an experienced academician who has supervised junior doctors and Master of Medicine candidates for more than 25 years.

How will Students be Assessed?

Examinations will be at the end of each semester as well as continuous assessments, in the form of quizzes, assignments and practical work throughout the course. At the end of Phase 1, students sit for final examination that contributes 60% to their overall grades.

Thanks to FeeqSays Network I was invited for Limkokwing's Fashion show - Creativity In Motion at Cafe Stelle, Pavilion KL.

Creativity in Motion shows unveils 60 couture & culturally-inspiried designes by students over 15 countries ; Limkokwing alumna and current Miss Malaysia/Universe Nadine Ann Thomas headlines catwalk with students models from over 30 countries.

Creativity in Motion - Glittering international fashion show - is back with its fourth installment featuring a rich collection of talent and designs ready to take on the fashion world.
The show - featured over 60 designs - a collection that combines the work graduating students as well as students from Semester 3, 4 and 5 from the School of Fashion and Retail Design.

'Creativity in Motion' is a collection of fashion ideas from the world's next generation; this time around the designs took on a variety of influences as wide ranging as Chinese opera inspired collection, to Japanese Origami, Brazilian tribal culture and even cervical cancer.

Limkokwing's very own Hair Design Lifestyle Academy displayed their talent for hair. Cosmetic extraordinaire (M.A.C) sponsored the makeup, while Aldo sponsored the shoes as well as accessories.

To add even more glamour to the event, celebrities like super model Amber Chia, actress and host Sazzy Falak, Gillian Hung, President of the Malaysian Official Designers' Association, and one of the most popular supermodels in Asia, Danielle Graham.

VIPs, Industry partners and guests were entertained with several performances throughout the event by Limkokwing's Sound and Music Design Academy students. They sure have very talented singers!

To my surprise, I bumped into Liew Qing during the event. All this while, I didn't know that she was with Limkokwing and that it was her graduation night. I'm so proud of her and her designs were uniquely beautiful! Congrats on graduating girl! :D

Unexpectedly I was able to catch Shontelle's Fan Meet @ GUESS, Pavilion *woots*
I was working as usual and it was my last day at work.
For the entire morning, all I did was to ring up agents to informed them on the arrival of diaries & calenders that they've ordered for next year. My job was to call and that's it. haha
During lunch break, we received news saying Shontelle's Fan Meet would be @ GUESS, Pavilion.
Without further due, we decided to take half day and attended the fan meet.
After all Pavilion is just around the corner from where I was working :)
Sis and myself arrived right in time before the event starts at 3pm.
We were glad that we managed to escaped from the heavy downpour.
Surprising the queue pretty short when we arrived. I bet many did not know that it's free admission :)
Shontelle was stucked in the jam due to the heavy traffic and she arrived at 4pm.
We practically queued for an hour just to see her but it was so worth it! :)
The fan meet was pretty quick as we get to go into GUESS individually, pairs or groups to get her autograph on her picture, and her latest album 'No Gravity'. We were also given the opportunity to snap a pic with her! Me and sis got lucky. We managed to meet her twice & snap a pic twice with her :)

I'm here to blast out Jay Park's Fan Meet in Malaysia *screamss*
So here it is...
The event was held at Manhattan 1, Berjaya Times Square Hotel due to last minute changes.
By right it was supposed to be at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).
Changes were made because....the crowd was rather small. The event organizer expected 1-2K fans. Unfortunately, the response wasn't good because the ticket price was a little too pricey :(
Only 250 fans attended :(
Many complaint that the tickets were overpriced.

Park Jaebeom, also known as Jay Park, is an American b-boy, dancer, songwriter, rapper, and actor. He's formerly a member and leader of South Korean boyband 2PM and is part of Seattle-based b-boy crew Art of Movement (AOM). Surprising, he is just 23 years old but he definitely looks younger! agree? haha
Even though Jay left 2PM early this year, he is still able to succeed on his own with his playful, energetic and popular image. Jay became a talk-about Korean artist in the industry. Jay Park is now a solo artist and his version of “Nothin' On You” on YouTube has garnered millions of views (5,782,598 views, 2pm, 14 November 2010) around the world

FYI I got myself VIP Tickets!! :) The only thing that sucks is that I don't get a photo session with Jay :(
Well, that's what I could afford. The higher range tickets were just too pricy! Nonetheless, It was good enough and it was totally WORTH IT! :D

On the day of Fan Meet, I got there with sis & her friend Tia by 11am to collect our tickets and we hung around for a couple of hours before it started at 2pm. As some of you may be wondering, why is it so weird that a concert starts at 2pm in the afternoon. Well, it is cause Jay Park was formally a 2PM member (leader) of the korean boy band. So yeah, that might explains it :)
Meanwhile waiting, we camwhored. lol. Girls will always be girls. Bout 1.30pm we were all seated in the waiting room. We waited and waited and doors were FINALLY opened at 2.30pm and it officially starts at 3pm.

As I've mention earlier, only 250 fans attended the Fan Meet. I felt bad for Jay. I hope he won't be disappointed by the crowd and thinks that he's fan base in Malaysia is rather small and will not put on another show in Malaysia again *keeping fingers crossed* Jaywalkers loves you Jay!
Although it's sad to say that the crowd was rather small, but to our advantage we had more attention from Jay :) The hall was small, warm and cozy which perfectly fits the 250 Jaywalkers.

The Fan Meet with Jay last for 1.5 hours and it was awesomeee from the start till the end!
He looks just as hawttt as how he does from posters and videos. Not to mention, he's got 8 paxs! haha
Although he's a korean, he speaks really fluent english cause he's from Seattle and I love his accent. It's so unique and that makes JAY...JAY! :D
Throughout the Fan Meet everyone kept screaming their lungs out non-stop for Jay..like seriously..I bet some of them might have lost their voice the next day.

Hi-5 Session with Jay Park @ Celcius, Fahrenheit

Me & sis woke up as early as 6 in the morning to get ready for the Hi-5 session.
We were super duper trooper excited to see Jay as we get to pass him our gifts and Hi-5/shake/touch/grab his hand :)
Got dolled within 2 hours and left for Celcius at 8am. We were one of the early birds and we queued patiently at the entrance of Celcius with our 4inches heel and mini dress under the morning sunlight for an hour for Jay to arrive. Despite waiting under the heat and sweating all over, it was worth it when Jay got there!
I would say, Celcius isn't the right place to have Fan Meet. The space was so small and tight and everyone got squashed in the crowd. I was glad that I got a seat by the bar which is over looking the mini stage and I stood on the seat to see Jay. Lol
The Hi-5 session passed pretty quick and Jay couldn't stay for long cause he's got a flight to catch right after that to Jakarta. By 9.45am Jay left the venue for the airport for his flight to Jakarta, Indonesia.
The highlight of the day was I get to send Jay off to the airport *woohoo*.
Behind all this, Big Fat Thanks to Shao Yan for the ride to and fro airport.
I lead the way and her friend drove us all the way there. We wouldn't have been able to see Jay for one last time if it weren't for you girl!
Thanks a bunch! *big hugs* Although it was the 1st time meeting you, I felt that we clicked instantly and you're such a sweet and lovely girl! :) We got there at 10.30am and we were so panicky cause we were afraid that we might miss Jay.
We searched for his flight GA 0821 and departure time was at 12.45pm.
Quickly we ran to the counter and the man was nice enough to ask us who do we want to check on :)
It was such a relief when the lady at the counter said that Jay hasn't check in and asked us to wait around the counter area patiently *phewww* *wipes sweat away from forehead*
After 40mins of waiting, Jay finally arrived at KLIA with a bronze Naza Ria at Gate 1.
A small crowd of Jaywalkers including me dashed towards his car. That's where we managed to snap a pic with him and got our Jay packets signed *woots*

A couple of days just right before my finals I was going through a hard time to deal with everything thats happening around me. I was glad that everyone was there for me to support my back and to helped me braced through it. One of it was my cousie sis, Andrea or in short we call her Drea :)
She was such a sweeetheart! She texted me pretty early in the morning and suggested we should meet up for coffee or something to catch up. My eyes widen when I saw her text came in and I was totally in for it! I needed a break from everything and away from books. She was the god gifted angel for the day and she totally made my day! :) Thanks for being there for me & hearing me out! I really appreciate it and it sure is great to catch up cause it's been far too long since we've last sat down & catch up on things :)
I'm glad I was there for you as much as I needed someone to be there & to talk to :)
aaah man, I really miss those memories back then when we're still little and we had a great laugh bout all the silly doink doink things that we've did together! great childhood memories.. HAHA!

It was the week of my finals!
Sat for Communication in Business (Monday), Marketing (Tuesday) & Management (Thurs).
One week before this, I've already did my Consumer Behaviour exams which is a take home exam. We were given 4 days to complete it and it was very assignment ish. It sure wasn't easy but thankgod its over.
Thankgod that finals are over! All that I'm hopping for now is good results :)
P.S : Big FAT thanks to my dearie mummy for taking the week off to send me to and fro to for my paper and waited patiently for my papers to end. She was such a sweetheart and being so supportive of everything cause she clearly know what I've been going through that period of time! I love you mummy!

Summer break officially starts on the 17th November and it'll be for 3 months *woohoo*
Currently i'm enjoying every bits of my summer break. Not even a day is wasted :D

In between my finals, It was Daddy's Birthday!
He's turning 48 this year. Getting old but you don't get to see a single strand of white hair on his head. lol
Still looking fit and young like he's in his early 40s. HAHA!
We kept it simple this year as I was in the midst of my finals. My finals were such a spoiler =/
Mummy then suggested to stay in and cooked daddy's fav sweet & sour crab and prawns for dinner.
Bought a mini cake and celebrated dad's bday :)

Head to uni early in the morning bout 10 ish to enroll for my subjects for next semester..haha :) Just the day before I sat for my finals and next day I'm enrolling my subjects for year 2.

Settled my timetable and it was the suckiest time table ever. I'll be having classes everyday =/

Timetable varies with the subjects that you take but i've got no choice but to have classes everyday.FML! Seriously don't wanna think bout it right now. It's mood killing =/

so lalalala..enrolled for my subjects on the day itself. I'll be taking Marketing Research, Organisational Behaviour, Environmental Issues in Business & Sales Management. I'm hoping that these subs won't be too tough on me :)

In the afternoon, meet up with teddy for coffee at Dr Cafe Solaris Mont' Kiara. I heard from cousie sis that their coffee is pretty good so I've decided to give it a try :)

The place was pretty small and cozy but their coffee is pretty good. As recommended over the counters, I tried the Cookie Frappe something (can't really rmbr what was it called already).

Teddy had strawberry juice. Wanted to snap some pics but I was smart enough to bring the camera out without battery. LOL! We sat there chat and talked crap for 5 hours straight. One of the longest coffee session I've ever had :) Thanks for everything teddy!

Early morning teddy came and pick me up and head for Bak Kut Teh in Kepong at Kim Teck Restaurant. I didn't know there were such good BKT in Kepong. I've never been to this part of Kepong which is not too far from firm. Their BKT is really popular and we were afraid that by the time we get there BKT will be sold out. lol. Good thing it was on a weekday, the crowd wasn't that massive :)
We got to try the ultimately pai guat *nyumsss*

1st pot of BKT served to us wasn't ours but we didn't know and we digged in..LOL! We ordered Pai Guat (Pork Ribs) and they gave us pork leg or something like that. super fat fat parts and we continued eating it..haha

There wasn't much to eat cause it's mainly FATS. gelii =s

He was so friendly when I 1st saw him and he greats me warmly by licking me all over..haha!
After seeing snoopy I want a West Highland white Terrier too! It's so adorableeee!

Movie marathon at Times Square's GSC MAXX.
It is known as the largest digital hall in Malaysia :)
We were proud to be one of the lucky ones that managed to get complimentary tickets to try out GSC MAXX before anyone else. All thanks to sis! :)
It was basically like a test out on us and at the same time to promote GSC MAXX.
The hall is HUGE and it looks more like an auditorium. The seats were comfy and the gap between each row was huge :) Even the 3D specs were different & it is definitely more comfortable compared to the normals ones which I don't like cause it easily slides off to my nose..lol
However, movies that were offered are the outdated ones. It was a plus for us cause we haven gotten a chance to watch any of those movies yet. lol
They were only screening 3 movies ( Sammy's Adventure The Secret Passage, Avatar Special Edition & Legend Of The Guardian)

Thanks to teddy for dropping us at TS to save us from traveling with taxi and train :)
We got to TS bout 11ish and redeem our tickets and shop for a bit and catch out from at 2pm all the way till 7plus.

With our 3D specs. thanks sis for not telling me that I've got chocolate stained on the side of my mouth. Please don mind that. haha *shy*

Catch Avatar SE at 2pm and it was no biggie. They just added 15mins of extra scenes.
Nonetheless, it was one of the best 3D movie i've ever seen. The graphics were awesome!

Followed by Sammy's at 5 ish and the 3D effect was superb! It was so real that I literally felt like touching everything that I saw on screen. lol

First thing in the morning, off to work at mummy's office.
During lunch time we took the monorail and redeemed our tickets for Legend Of The Guardian to catch it after work at 7ish :)
The movie wasn't too bad and I've always loved owls. It's the 1st show ever where they had 3D owls :)

During lunch break at work took the monorail with sis to Sg. Wang cause she wanted to check out some heels from Summit. Unfortunately none caught her eyes. On the other hand, when I stepped into Vincci there were massive SALE everywhere on the shelves. I went gaga..lol! I bought 2 pairs of heels at 50% OFF. It was so worth it :) Year end sales rocks!!

Work as usual but TGIF. Friday get to fong kung earlier :) During lunch time, sis, mum & myself walked over to Fahrenheit to shop for the 1st time. The mall is still pretty new and not many shops were opened yet. Finished work bout 4ish pm then head over to Pavilion to do some shopping with teddy.

1st thing when I got there we had snowflakes and walked around. I stepped into Padini Concept store cause they were having sales and I got myself another pair of heels.

My 5th pair of heels of the week. lol! This is madness!

As for dinner, we left pavi and head to Soong Kee for beefball noodles and porridge (gi chap chuk) nyums! :)

Attended service at Calvary Church and head over to Centrepoint for lunch and bumped into Kenny. Managed to catch up with him for a bit and I can't wait to see him perform for the MADWORLD Event!
It is a contemporary stage show featuring dance choreography, drama & music!
For those of you who are interested, be sure not to miss the next performance at SIB KL (next to Eastin Hotel). It is FOC but requires ticket. Anyone who is interested do let me know & i'll try to get the tickets for you :)

After that, headed over to Ou to get sis's shoes that she has reserved from Summit. At the same time, we were shopping around and SALES were EVERYWHERE! Again we went goo goo gaga over everything that catches our eyes and guess what, I bought 2 pairs of flats & that makes up 7 pairs of flats & heels that I've got for the week. I was just so crazy over heels for the week. It was so unlike me to get so many pairs in just one week but it was worth it! I saw a 4.5inch heel from Opera & it was super hot but I told myself no more buying heels and I hold myself from spending. Sis was all hyped up cause she got 4 pairs of heels on that day itself. Everyone in the mall was looking at us as if we were some heels fanatic carrying so many shoe paper bags around..lol

I wanted to retouch my hair colour so I've decided to give it a try with Liese Bubble Hair Colour for the 1st time. I've heard so many good comments bout it so I was excited to try in on myself.
I was at The Weld at Guardian cause they were running a promo of 10% off. Bought it for RM 34.90. Was having a hard time choosing the right colour from the shelf and finally bought chiffon beige :)
Got home after work and tried it out with sis's help and it was so easy peasy to apply.
In just 1 hour I was done :) This includes applying, leaving it on & washing off. The colour wasn't as light as I've expected but it was not too bad as it blended well with my current hair colour. I think I should have bought a 2nd bottle for it to be more effective cause I've got super long hair.
Nonetheless, I kindda love the colour on me :)

After getting my hair done, filled with chemical dye on my hair I head out for yumcha with Ujin, Thiam Poh & Joel at Geo's. It was nice catching up with them and we had a good laugh cracking jokes, shisha-ing & kept ordering ice water. There was only 4 of us but we had 13 cups of ice water. lol

As for the night, we head over to Ou to redeem tickets for Due Date's premier screening by GCS.
There were limited tickets to be redeem and we were unfortunate that we were one of the last few who couldn't get the tickets :( sis & I was pretty disappointed but we didn't gave up but tried to ask the counter if they had extra. To our surprise, a man walked towards us and asked if we want to watch Due Date & we were nodding our heads with big smiles on our faces and he got us 2 tickets for the screening at 9pm. He was so niceee! We wouldn't have catch the movie if it wasn't for him. I think he must be some big shot. lucky us! haha :D
Due Date was awesomeeee! One of the best comedy ever and sis was laughing her off ass of her seat right next to me :P
PS Robert Downey JR is so hawt even though he's not that young but he has that charm. haha

Btw, 6 pairs of my colour contact lenses has arrived :)
Bought them form Classic Geo Lens & Jujulens Shop online.
Btw, I'm a loyal customer of Classic Geo Lens and I love their super efficient service and the they're super friendly :)
I've always been buying korean lenses online. As far as I'm concern, they work pretty well for me except sometimes it may be a little dry for the eyes if it is worn for long hours cause of the lower water content.
Other than that, they're really pretty with it's various designs, sizes & colour and it's pretty safe for the eyes :)

Stayed in for the night and spend my time making a fansign for Jay's Fan Meet this sat & sun! :)

One of the most unforgettable moments ever.
My dearest maid Leahendra in short we call her Leah is leaving back to Philippines for good *sobs*
She's the best maid everrr! The BEST you could ever ask for! She has been such a blessing to my family throughout these 9 years +. No maid ever could top her! Throughout these years she's been so close to us and we treat her as family. Her absence made me felt like I've lost a family member :(
One of the thing that i'll miss most bout her is her cooking!!! She's a quick learner when it comes to cooking and she does an awesome job to satisfy out tummy. I'm so gonna miss that
I've got to start getting used to not having a maid anymore as mummy planned to not to get a maid anymore.

ING Insurance had a carnival called the Chances For Children & they brought in 2 orphanage homes to join us for the carnival. They were Sunbeams & Ohana Home. The kids from the orphanage was so adorable and there were events and games installed for them. It was so fun to watch them enjoying themselves :) My job for the day was to escort the Lion mascot everywhere. It was simple to do but it was damn tiring. My legs almost killed me even though i was just wearing flats.
In the evening head out to The Gardens with Edric for movie & dinner. We catch Social Network at GSC Signature & dinner after at Sushi Zanmai. Thanks for everything! :)

Hey dearies!
sorry for this outdated post which was supposed to be one month ago :)
I wanna share with y'all this event cause it was one of the best event hosted by a radio station in Malaysia.
Fly Fm has always been my fav. radio channel and I tune in to them everyday especially pagi show with Ben, Nadia & Phat fabes. I won't miss them every morning otw to uni :)
Anyways, I'll keep this post S.S (simple & short)
I won't be spending too much time on this post cause I've loads more of other post to blog bout :)
Anyhow, I hope you guys would still enjoy reading this post!

Even though I got tixs for VIP, I didn't want to stay upstairs cause the crowd was so dead!

Holla Dearies!

It has been far too long since I've last updated my blog. Sorry for being so inefficient to my dear readers :(
As some of you may know, I was busy preparing for my finals 2-3 weeks back.
Just last week, finals were officially over *woots*
I'm currently enjoying my summer break which will go on for 3 months till I resumed in next march :)
I'm glad that I can finally breath and enjoy myself.
Within 2-3 weeks back, many unfortunate things happened all together at the same time.
Many unexpected situation happened and It was so much to take.
I was in the middle of my take home final exam test and it was so stressful as I was only given 4 days to complete a whole assignment. I had issues with the boyf. It came out of nowhere and I really didn't see it coming *sighs*. Moreover, finals were just the week after.
I had so much going on so much to think about. I felt I was suffocating in the middle of everything.
Indeed it was one of the toughest moments in life i've ever encountered with.
Many of you could not imagine how much I've to take in and swallow in down my throat as if nothing affected me.
During the day I put on a smile and acted as if nothing has happened to hide all my sadness and sorrows. When it comes to the night, I will silently cry myself to bed.
Nothing could ever made me feel more comforting than crying myself to sleep.
Despite of everything that was happening around me, I'm glad that I was not alone and to be surrounded with so many positive spirits to comfort me, cheer me up and be there for me!
I know I wouldn't have pull through if it wasn't because of all my sweethearts being there for me.
From that moment, I realized that there's so many people out there who actually cares for me.
I was so touched by their words and deeds. It was just so comforting and that means the world to me at that moment. So I wanna thank you all dearies who was there for me through one of the toughest moment in my life. I really appreciate it very much from the bottom of my heart. I can't be naming everyone here but you know who you are *big hugs* ♥♥

After that incident, I've lost all of my blogging mojo and abandoned my blog.
I shall not disappoint my loyal reader anymore.
I will try my best to start updating my blog real soon aite.
I've loads of outdated post. I'm not sure whether should I still blog about them or leave them behind and start with what is recent and new on me. Will see if I have the time :)
Btw, i'm currently working part time but it's just temporarily. Probably after I'm done with working I'll blog more..haha :)
