Pay Per Click Madness

Having been on the Internet for close to ten years the affiliate market has changed dramatically. It wasn't that long ago that several large online sites held command of the affiliate universe. Even today they still have the largest number of affiliate memberships. What has changed is that just about anyone can have an affiliate program due to the emergence of sites like ClickBank and Azoogle. The affiliate member has the opportunity to share in the profits by as much as 70%! Azoogle's business model is different in that you either display html ads on your web site or you can get html to paste into an opt-in email campaign. With Azoogle you get paid for the amount of information the individual, the person who clicks on the ad, provides. This could be just a zip code or an email address. The pay-off is commensurate with the amount of information.

This, of course, is just for placing a link on a website or sending an email with a link to a landing page. (If you don't know what a landing page is, read on.) The reason that just about anyone can be an affiliate today is because PPC or Pay Per Click advertising has changed the landscape quite considerably. Google and Overture (These two account for about 90% of all PPC traffic.) have changed the affiliate marketplace because if you are smart enough you have figured out that you can buy keyword advertising from Google or Overture and advertise someone else's product, provided you are an affiliate for that product. You don't need a website because when the individual clicks on the PPC ad, it is directed to the affiliateï¿½s web page or landing page. You collect the commission if that person buys the product or service. Sounds easy, it is, but as with all good things there are some catches.

You can get caught up in the bidding that takes place for top keywords. Example: say for instance you find a product on Clickbank that you would like to be an affiliate for. You sign up for a Google account, it's free, and you construct your PPC ad for the Clickbank affiliate you have opted to become. ClickBank's sign up is free as well. Back to Google: Google Adwords now requests that you provide them with a list of keywords for your product. You think of about ten keywords that are associated with your product. You list each of them within your Google ad. Google then asks you what's the maximum price per click you'll pay. Being an astute businessperson, you decide that you can afford $.10 per click with a maximum of $25.00 per day. This would give you 250 clicks on your ad per day. That doesn't mean that 250 people will buy, it just means that 250 people have looked at the "landing page." How many of the 250 will buy? Good question. I knew you were paying attention. The answer is: your guess is as good as mine. It could be 10% of the 250 clickers or 1% of the clickers or .1%.

Now comes the fun part. Remember that I said you decided to put your maximum per click price at $.10 per click (see the previous paragraph) and your maximum daily amount at $25.00? Let's say that one of your top, top keywords, the one that you really felt was going to bring in the big clicks, was not available because your maximum per click was only $.10 and the going rate was over $2.00 per click! (Google will not divulge the top price but only indicate if your maximum is too low.) $2.00 per click you say, "I can't afford that!" Well that's how it works. This type of thing happens everyday. Should you quit the PPC game? Absolutely not! Then how does one on a limited budget play in the PPC market? There are a number of ways to break in without depleting your bank account.

You can test your way in by utilizing alternate PPC networks. There are several. You can also find niche markets for keywords that are far less expensive than the more obvious ones. There are alternatives but you must get grounded first and then proceed.

Any successful SEO implementation strategy should include the following:

1. Extensive Keyword Research - Research specific keywords or keyword phrases that will most likely bring the most relevant/targeted traffic to your website. Compile a list of relevant keywords/keyword phrases to optimize for on your home page, landing page, and any other pages of your website. Never try to shoot for very general keywords such as "jewelry" or "furniture". Rather, shoot for more targeted keyword phrases such as "M2 design Bracelets" or "swivel recliner".

2. Site Design Geared Towards Targeted Audience - Design your site content and navigation according to your keyword research and for your target market/audience. Never design your site just for the search engines, rather design your site for your "live" audience (visitors). When it makes sense to do so, plug your keywords into your navigation or web content. Your keyword research will reveal what people are searching for in various ways. Make sure your sites navigation and content showcase the various ways in which people are searching for what you have to offer. Its also a good idea to use HTML links in the top-level main navigation on each of the pages of your site.

4. Descriptive Anchor Text (visible text within a click-able text link) For All The Internal Links Of Your Site - Good descriptive navigational links will help your visitors find their way around your site and find what their looking for. Make it as easy as possible for your visitors to find their way around and use "call to action" links/buttons to get your visitors do what you want them to do once they find what their looking for. Do this and you will see a vast increase in conversions/sales and a greater ROI (return on investment) for your business.

5. Site That Is "Link-Worthy" - Having other sites link to yours is a vital element of any successful search engine optimization, as all of the major search engines place a good deal of emphasis on your sites overall link popularity.

Finally, is your site full of great content and information about your products/services? Does it clearly state the benefits and how it solves your target market/audience problem or problems? Is it a great resource for others? As a visitor can I easily find my way around your site? Does it capture my attention enough to keep me on the site or will I get bored and leave right away? Many aspiring online entrepreneurs are taking advantage of the vast cyber market that has been created by the advent of the internet.

Whilst, innovative entrepreneurs have discovered a wealth of opportunities to be converted into viable businesses in cyberspace, many are seeing little or no return for their efforts.
The common misconception they labor under is that they expect the internet to make them money, when in actual fact their strategy should be to use the internet as a vehicle to market their goods and services to the cyber market, known as the world wide web.
However, because internet businesses can be set up at virtually no cost or with no risk, more and more people are seeing the internet as a good way to making money easily and quickly.
Well, the reality is that most of these would be internet marketers are not getting the basics right, get disheartened with the lack of activity & money being generated by their businesses and end up quitting with barely making a dollar.

Getting these basics right will at least afford your business a decent chance of longevity and success.

1. Mindset
Often the wrong mindset creates unrealistic expectations in terms of returns and the amount of input required.
So, prior to launching your business you need to understand that success wonï¿½t come easily, you wonï¿½t earn money in the short term and that you more than likely will not get rich quickly.

Muqqaddimah: Membincangkan isu perniagaan halal sebenarnya tidak terlepas dari membabitkan soal pembiayaan. Namun, banyak pembiayaan yang terlibat dengan riba tidak diambil serius dalam membangunkan perniagaan termasuk perniagaan halal. Ikuti interbiu saya bersama HAJAH ROHANI DATO’ MOHD SHAHIR, Perunding Kewangan Islam - ARS Hijrah Consultancy di pejabatnya, Taman Seri Ukay, Ampang.

Kita mulakan dengan topik perniagaan. Pada pendapat Hajah, apakah faktor-faktor penting yang harus ada bagi sebuah syarikat yang berminat menceburi perniagaan halal, selain logo Halal?

HAJAH ROHANI: Saya ingat antara lainnya, bukan hanya fokus kepada produk halal saja. Itu satu. Tapi banyak lagi. Pada pendapat saya ialah aspek keseluruhan perniagaan itu sendiri. Dari pembiayaan, modalnya, caranya mengendalikan operasi harus tidak ada unsur-unsur subahah. Unsur-unsur yang tak pasti dari aspek Syariahnya. Banyak kali kita tengok, malah ada yang pertikaikan, orang-orang non-muslim kini buat perniagaan halal. Jadi, apa lagi yang boleh dikenalpasti ciri-ciri untuk melayakkan seseorang itu untuk sertai perniagaan halal? Tapi kalau kita nak sekat tuan punya syarikat mesti orang Islam mungkin itu sudah agak, orang kata ke belakang pula. Tak mungkin begitu. Tapi saya ingat, antara kriteria-kriteria yang harus ada juga kalau ceburi perniagaan halal, soal pembiayaan atau modal mesti dari sumber pembiayaan yang halal juga.

Berdasarkan pemerhatian, bagaimana Hajah melihat penyertaan dan perkembangan terkini tentang penglibatan usahawan dan syarikat orang-orang Islam dalam perniagaan industri halal di negara kita…

Saya lihat, orang-orang Islam tidak menerajui perniagaan halal ini. Malah kita perhati ekspo-ekspo pun lebih ramai pembabitan non-muslim yang mengambil bahagian. Malah ada sebuah syarikat non-muslim, saya difahamkan terlibat dalam perniagaan penternakan lembu dan menyediakan daging segar. Syarikat ini antara yang aktif mengambil bahagian dalam perniagaan halal ini. Orang bukan Islam buat bisnes halal. Kita orang Islam terus pertikai istilah-istilah tetapi bagi non-muslim ini, mereka mudah kembangkan bisnes dengan penggunaan logo halal dan sebagainya. Mereka tak peduli apa, halal atau tidak. Mereka utamakan branding. Kita kalau nak masuk bisnes ini sudah jauh ke belakang. Bila mereka non-muslim berkecimpung diri dalam bidang ini, dengan senang keluarkan produk halal. Mereka boleh berjaya. Beralih sedikit dengan produk halal. Pengalaman dan modal sudah ada. Boleh jalan dengan jaya. Ini memalukan orang kitalah (orang Islam), kerana kita tidak mampu sampai ke tahap itu.

Tidakkah orang bukan Islam lebih dominan “menjuarai” bidang ini?

Itu memang betul. Kekuatan mereka dari aspek sumber kewangan, prasarana dan pasaran. Meraka sudah bersedia semuanya itu. Dengan teknologi dan paling penting kesungguhan mereka dalam bidang ini. Kita mungkin selalu beranggapan kalau berniaga, mahu cepat untung. Dari pembiayaan dana, sebenarnya kita sudah banyak sumber. Modal perkara nombor dua. Kerajaan banyak membantu untuk membangunkan usahawan Bumiputera. Isu paling utama, saya rasa kita tidak ada kekuatan mendapatkan kuasa membeli. Sebab itu bila jatuh, susah untuk kita bangkit semula. Nak teruskan mungkin kita kalah. Kalau kita tengok bangsa Cina berniaga, contoh buka kedai hardware. Belum jam lapan sudah buka kedai. Mereka konsisten dan cuti tidak ikut sesedap hati. Aspek-aspek keseluruhan keusahawanan dikalangan Bumiputera tidak ditekankan sangat macam bisnes orang Cina. Mereka lebih dominan. Ini kenyataannya!

Nampaknya tidak mendatangkan apa-apa dengan konsep bisnes Halal pada orang Islam. Sebab yang meraih untung masih peniaga non-muslim…

Ya. Saya setuju. Tapi itu sama macam perbankan Islam juga. Ok, kita jadi pengguna sekarang. Kalau tengok yang menjuarai mereka bukan hanya punyai sistem perbankan Islam tetapi mereka memiliki kemahiran dan kepakaran ditangan mereka.

Di kalangan kaum wanita, macam mana pula? Memberangsangkan. Maksudnya wanita Islam yang terlibat sebagai usahawan..

Kalau dilihat tebaran wanita Islam yang terlibat dalam bisnes, memang cukup positif. Ramai tetapi tidaklah yang gagah-gagah. Mereka terlibat dalam dunia usahawan secara tidak langsung dalam industri MLM. Itu kita tengok menonjollah wanita sebagai jurujual yang hebat termasuk dalam industri takaful dan insuran. Tetapi di kalangan gergasi-gergasi atau korporat, setahu saya tidak adalah wanita Islam berada pada tahap itu. Perkilangan pun kalau kita tengok syarikat-syarikat besar adalah yang saya baca dua tiga wanita betul-betul yang telah sampai ke tahap yang membanggakan. Dalam arus perdana keusahawan wanita ini, saya rasa kita belum berada di tahap yang sepatutnya lagi.

Saya lihat, golongan wanita begitu gigih dalam dunia perniagaan terutamanya MLM. Di mana-mana, agak dominan. Apa yang boleh Hajah tafsirkan trend ini… dan mereka ramai yang berjaya termasuk dalam jenis perniagaan lain.

Ini kita akui. Kalau dalam MLM dan jualan langsung itu, memang ada lahirnya golongan wanita Islam ini hingga jadi jutawan dalam pengeluaran produk kosmetik. Dia buat sendiri, jenamakan hingga mampu menembusi pasaran tempatan dan luar negeri. Malah, kaum wanita digunakan sebagai pengedar-pengedar produk ini dan banyak tumbuh kedai-kedia kosmetik atau stokis ini. Tapi ada yang sudah berjaya, tapi tak bertahan lama. Paling ketara dah beli kereta mewah, banglo dalam lain-lain tapi jatuh kembali. Kita kena tengok pelbagai faktor terutama aspek-aspek keusahawanan yang betul. Jangan kita terlalu ghairah untuk kaya kerana akhirnya juga kita akan cepat jatuh.

Kalau dari segi ketahananya. Di mana silapnya…

Kalau kita lihat MLM, dia punya struktur kita kena beli barangan. Ramai yang saya lihat, kerana nak sukses cepat, kita beli barangan itu sendiri dengan jumlah yang banyak. Ada yang guna kad kredit untuk melambangkan itu jualan mereka. Ada yang dulukan duit dia untuk pelanggan. Dan bila kita jadi stokis pula, kita beli barang banyak-banyak. Bagi hutang pada pelanggan. Akhirnya memberi kesan buruk pada kewangan dan bisnes. Ini masalah pengurusan. Kita selalu kalah di sini.

Maknanya banyak tindakan-tindakan palsu dalam menguruskan bisnes..

Ya betul. Yang susah kita sendiri. Sebab kita tidak berniaga secara betul macam yang dilakukan oleh ahli perniagaan yang beretika dan mempunyai sistem pengurusan yang baik.

Berdasarkan pengalaman Hajah yang luas dalam muamalat panbankan Islam, boleh cerita sedikit tentang kecenderungan ahli-ahli perniagaan, baik yang Islam mahupun non-muslim; beralih kepada sistem kewangan Islam berbanding sistem konvensional.

Baru-baru ini ada satu majalah Personal Money mengulas topik utamanya “Islamic Banking For All”. Memaparkan beberapa pelanggan non-muslim yang berminat dengan perbankan Islam ini. Kita nampak dia punya development itu agak positif. Dan ini bukan terjadi di Malaysia sahaja tetapi juga di luar negara. Mereka beralih kepada perbankan Islam sebab dalam bank konvensional akhir tahun lalu di UK, US, Euro, semua bank-bank jatuh akibat memberi pinjaman kepada orang yang tidak layak meminjam. Ini kesan konvensional banking. Sebab itu, mereka melihat sistem perbankan Islam ada kaedah pengurusan yang lebih hebat berbanding konvensional banking.
Tapi, saya agak sedih sebab bila orang kita buat Islamic banking, kita tak nak buat secara sebenarnya. Ambil yang utama sahaja. Sekarang sudah ada banyak perubahan, tapi perubahan kosmetik. Kita tidak pergi ikut Islamic banking betul-betul. Totally ikut Islam itu agaknya susah untuk nak kira risiko. Sebab saya lebih percaya bahawa konsep pembiayaan itu betul-betul konsep untung. Maksudnya bila bank beri pembiayaan, tiba-tiba usahawan itu tak berjaya (gulung tikar), patutnya bank tak boleh ambil balik (bayaran pinjaman)… Serupa ikut musyarakah mutanaqisyah, joint venture. Macam banking capitallah.
Itu model yang saya pernah dengar 10 tahun yang lalu diperingkat perbankan Islam antarabangsa. Sepatutnya model itu. Tapi sekarang kita buat struktur lebih kurang macam Al Baitamil Ajil, ada profit, bayaran balik setiap bulan. Sama saja dengan konvensional. Dia orang panggil interest profit world. Ada orang pertikaikan. Sayapun berbuih-buih mulutlah untuk menjelaskan pada orang-ramai. Yang ini lain, sebab ini ada akad tapi memang model Al Baitamil Ajil ini ada tapi hanya banker kalau kita letak fiqh Islamic dulu jadi banker barulah kita boleh lahirkan betul-betul. Kita sepatutnya duduk semeja dengan orang Syariah dan betul-betul debatkan benda ini. Respon orang, kalau you buat perbankan Islam macam itu matilah, banking tak boleh untung.

Tapi sekarang banyak banking beralih ke kaunter Islam macam mana?

Mereka buat yang itu sebab nak ambil pasaran orang Islam. Itu sahaja. Sebagai bisnes. Tapi kaunter konvensional terus berjalan.

Mampukah konsep Qard Al-Hassan (pembiayaan secara Islam) yang banyak diperkenalkan hari ini menarik lebih ramai usahawan atau syarikat milik orang Islam mempraktiknya…

Kadang-kadang saya ada bincang perkara ini dengan pihak-pihak tertentu. Sebenarnya Qardha Hassan the best. Maksudnya kalau saya pinjam RM10,000 saya bayar juga RM10,000. Tak ada apa-apa interest. Tapi macam di PUNB (Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Bhd.) itu ada juga dikenakan charge tertentu untuk pengurusan. Patutnya tak bolehlah. Sebab syarikat B dan syarikat A mestilah tak sama. Macam mana boleh dikenakan charge yang sama. Kalu nak buat, buatlah betul-betul. Mungkin kita lepas di sini (dunia) tapi di sana (akhirat) nanti macam mana pulak. Banyak lagi industri-industri kerajaan yang mengunakan flat rate. Saya mungkin tak boleh cakap nama agensinya tapi ratusan ribu usahawan yang meminjam. Saya pernah pertikai. Ini tidak begitu baik. Pihak-pihak atasan patut kena tengok baliklah. Walaupun orang pinjam RM2,000 tapi kalau kena charge dua atau tiga peratus, itu tak boleh.

Tapi macam pinjaman peribadi bank-bank tertentu …

Itupun dipertikaikan juga. Tiada pembelian barang. Dapat duit terus. Itulah sepatutnya kalau kita buat Qardha Hassan atau pembiayaan sebenarnya, you pinjam RM10,000 you bayar balik RM10,000 juga. Lepas itu saya tak tahulah di mana jual beli selepas bayaran RM10,000 itu. Apa bendanya? Tidak usah fikir macam bankerlah tapi macam trader. Tapi trade tu janganlah trade paper sahaja. Itu kata orang, bila kita tegur perbankan Islam, kita yang buat Al Baitamin Ajil pun tak tukar nama. Itu konsep di belakang. Kalau kita kritik terlalu banyak nanti langsung orang tak mahu pergi ke sistem perbankan Islam. Saya tak naklah terlalu banyak kritik sampai benda ini tak boleh berjalan. Tetapi biarlah pengamal industri dan peniaga sedar…

Untuk usahawan atau syarikat yang berminat mendapatkan pembiayaan secara Islam, macam Al-Bai’tamin Ajil, Bai’ Al Inah, Musyarakah Mutanaqisyah. Barangkali boleh Hajah beri sedikit tip atau panduan…

Sambutan usahawan untuk menjalankan bisnes secara muamalat Islam amat ketara hari ini. Kita pun sedar dengan peringatan bahawa “masuklah Islam secara keseluruhannya”. Memanglah semua aspek bisnes kita mahu yang halal. Semua kita mesti pergi keperbankan Islam. Tak ada pilihan lagi. Tetapi produknya, memang boleh dibuat perbandingan. Saya difahamkan perbandingan dari apek costingnya. Sekarang memang sudah ada. Kalau konvensional ada overdraf, Islamik pun ada. Semua ada. Puluhan produk disediakan oleh perbankan Islam. Tapi costing itu, mesti kita ambil kira juga. Perbankan Islam mungkin ada lain-lain tapi costing boleh dibanding-bandingkan. Ikutlah mana yang lebih menguntungkan.

Diantara pelbagai pengalaman Hajah dalam merumus atau menjayakan muamalat perbankan Islam, apakah aspek atau isu paling menarik yang dapat diperhatikan?

Sekarang memang saya menerajui perbankan Islam dari aspek pengurusan kewangan individu. Kita sedia maklum bahawa produk perbankan Islam, takaful, produk pelaburan sudah ada wujud dipasaran. Tetapi saya ingin melihat, kalau boleh orang Islam pergi keperbankan Islam ini atau mengambil produk-produk ini atas dasar kesedaran Islam. Bagi saya perbankan Islam sekarang terlalu komersial sehingga orang lupa perkara asasnya. Bukan hanya menumpukan soal produk itu sahaja Islam tetapi yang lain-lain juga mesti ikut Islam. Maksud saya, bila masuk dalam perbankan Islam, Islam itu mesti cantik dulu kemudian baru banking Islam itu. Kalau kami menawarkan perkhidmatan kewangan Islam, kami akan dulukan Syariat. Lepas itu baru kita tengok produk dan konsep kenapa seseorang itu perlu membuat pengurusan harta di sisi Islam. Ini yang kita lihat kurang. Sampai orang lupa hingga muncul istilah purerist. Di Singapura istilah ini cukup popular. Purerist bermaksud orang yang hanya hendakkan perbankan Islam sahaja. Maknanya pelanggan kita ada yang Islam pure dan ada yang tidak pure. Tak hairanlah ada banking Islam ketika berucap menggunakan pandangan-pandangan non-muslim (Barat) sebagai hujah sedangkan kita ada hujah al-Quran dan Hadis. Ini terlalu janggal. Yang penting pada dasarnya, kita sedar bahawa Islam itu ada sistem sendiri dalam soal kewangan dan pengurusannya.

Boleh komen sedikit tentang perniagaan yang dijalankan halal, tapi pembiayaan masih konvensional maknanya terlibat riba…

Ini kena ada kesedaran. Hari ini takrif halal-haram tertakluk kepada aktiviti syarikat sahaja. Bila syarikat tak buat arak, tak bisnes judi, tak jual babi, maknanya syarikat itu halal. Kalau sebaliknya haram. Dan mereka tak mahu tengok pula syarikat ini ada tak terlibat dengan pembiayaan riba. Ini yang paling teruk sebab dosa besar. Ini juga kita pertikaikan diperingkat antarabangsa. Sebagai contoh kita punya saham dan berbangga 80 peratus ikut Syariah. Tapi kita tak pernah tanya soal pembiayaan saham itu? Tentu besar. Kalau syarikat itu membuat minuman dan minuman itu halal, maka perniagaan syarikat itu dikira halal. Pembiayaannya macam mana? Kalau syarikat itu ada dua kali ganda pinjamannya ada riba, tak pula diambi kira. Inilah kekeliruan kita…

A frequent question I get from my students is “What is a “blog“?

“Blog” is an abbreviated version of “weblog,” which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information.

A blog is a frequently updated, personal website featuring diary-type commentary and links to articles or other Web sites. Blogs range from the personal to the political, and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects. Blogs can also be used to target a specific niche area of your business or industry or topic of interest.

Many blogs focus on a particular topic, such as web design, politics, sports, or mobile technology. Some are more eclectic, presenting links to all manner of other sites. And others are more like personal journals, presenting the author’s daily life and thoughts. Like this blog, it is all about making money from wordpress adsense, offering tips, strategies and updates.

Generally speaking (though there are exceptions), blogs tend to have a few things in common:

A main content area with articles listed chronologically, newest on top. Often, the articles are organized into categories.

An archive of older articles.
A way for people to leave comments about the articles.
A list of links to other related sites, sometimes called a “blogroll“.
One or more “feeds” like RSS, Atom or RDF files.
Some blogs may have additional features beyond these.

The Blog Content

Content is the “king” for any web site. Retail sites feature a catalog of products. University sites contain information about their campuses, curriculum, and faculty. News sites show the latest news stories. For a personal blog, you might have a bunch of observations, or reviews. Without some sort of updated content, there is little reason to visit a web site more than once.

On a blog, the content consists of articles (also sometimes called “posts” or “entries“) that the author(s) writes. Yes, some blogs have multiple authors, each writing his/her own articles. Typically, blog authors compose their articles in a web-based interface, built into the blogging system itself. Some blogging systems also support the ability to use stand-alone “weblog client” software, which allows authors to write articles offline and upload them at a later time.

Comments

Want an interactive website? Wouldn’t it be nice if the readers of a website could leave comments, tips or impressions about the site or a specific article? With blogs, they can! Posting comments is one of the most exciting features of blogs.

Most blogs have a method to allow visitors to leave comments. There are also nifty ways for authors of other blogs to leave comments without even visiting the blog! Called “pingbacks” or “trackbacks“, they can inform other bloggers whenever they cite an article from another site in their own articles. All this ensures that online conversations can be maintained painlessly among various site users and websites.

TrackBack was designed to provide a method of notification between websites: it is a method of person A saying to person B, “This is something you may be interested in.” To do that, person A sends a TrackBack ping to person B.

A better explanation is this:

Person A writes something on their blog.
Person B wants to comment on Person A’s blog, but wants her own readers to see what she had to say, and be able to comment on her own blog
Person B posts on her own blog and sends a trackback to Person A’s blog
Person A’s blog receives the trackback, and displays it as a comment to the original post. This comment contains a link to Person B’s post
The idea here is that more people are introduced to the conversation (both Person A’s and Person B’s readers can follow links to the other’s post), and that there is a level of authenticity to the trackback comments because they originated from another weblog. Unfortunately, there is no actual verification performed on the incoming trackback, and indeed they can even be faked.

Most trackbacks send to Person A only a small portion (called an “excerpt”) of what Person B had to say. This is meant to act as a “teaser”, letting Person A (and his readers) see some of what Person B had to say, and encouraging them all to click over to Person B’s site to read the rest (and possibly comment).

Person B’s trackback to Person A’s blog generally gets posted along with all the comments. This means that Person A can edit the contents of the trackback on his own server, which means that the whole idea of “authenticity” isn’t really solved. (Note: Person A can only edit the contents of the trackback on his own site. He cannot edit the post on Person B’s site that sent the trackback.)

Pingbacks is like remote comments:

Person A posts something on his blog.
Person B posts on her own blog, linking to Person A’s post. This automatically sends a pingback to Person A when both have pingback enabled blogs.
Person A’s blog receives the pingback, then automatically goes to Person B’s post to confirm that the pingback did, in fact, originate there.
The pingback is generally displayed on Person A’s blog as simply a link to Person B’s post. In this way, all editorial control over posts rests exclusively with the individual authors (unlike the trackback excerpt, which can be edited by the trackback recipient). The automatic verification process introduces a level of authenticity, making it harder to fake a pingback.

BEBAN HARGA MINYAK

Salam....minyak naik harga....semua barang naik harga. Kita tak pernah termimpi isi minyak motor kapcai sahaja sudah mencecah RM 7 untuk 3/4 tangki. Sekarang, semua orang 'cut cost', beli apa yang perlu sahaja. Jika gaji anda RM 3000 sebulan, dgn harga yang semuanya naik, kos kehidupan akan bertambah, tapi gaji masih sebegitu juga.

Sebagai business blogger, apa yang dapat kita lakukan untuk melepaskan diri dari masalah ekonomi ni. Market kita yang ada sekarang, terutamanya di Malaysia, akan semakin kecil. Jadi, jika business blog kita menumpukan market di sini, akan ada KEPAYAHAN sedikit.

Kenapa kita tidak sahaja gunakan kelebihan matawang kita untuk menambah pendapatan???
Bermakna, market yang paling TEPAT pada waktu ini adalah US, Europe atau negara2 yang mempunyai kelebihan matawang berlipat-ganda dari Malaysia.

Jadi, ini nasihat saya untuk business blogger di luar sana :-

1. produk anda hendaklah yang hot-selling di luar negara
2. blog mestilah berbahasa Inggeris
3. lengkapkan blog anda dengan online-payment
4. jangan lupa dengan keyword anda

Bagaimana nak mendapatkan keyword yang terbaik untuk business blog anda???
Bukan mudah...memerlukan masa dan kepakaran.

The Death of Blogging?

Harap maaf ye...kali ni saya nak kongsi dengan anda satu artikel berkenaan punca kegagalan sesatu BLOG ??
Terutamanya khas dan khusus untuk peserta Seminar BLOG saya pagi tadi.
Mari kita kongsi sama-sama.

I could see the trend of bloggers apologize readers because they did not have time to update the blog, reduce in number of generous and useful tips etc.
Below are some reasons I can think of why the bloggers are slowing down and may lead to the death of blogging..

Too busy to write for free
Don’t get enough money to ‘fund’ their blogging effort
People don’t have time to read blogs anymore
No more interesting idea to write about
Don’t have goals and no achievements whatsoever after writing for a year!

Now blog is just like a website - Being abandoned and left out being rubbish on the internet. When doing a search, the old posting that is not relevant anymore pops up requiring more time for you to find a good answer for your research.
So what’s next after blogging?

OK....harap peserta saya pagi tadi dah bersedia untuk ber'blog' untuk bisnes kita.
