Everleaf Network Leaves USA France and Malta

Everleaf Gaming Network will no longer offer online poker to US players, due to threats made by the Department of Homeland Security to Everleaf network regarding legal action if they continue to service U.S. poker players.

Several weeks ago the network lost one of the U.S. processors, and funds were held back by the Department of Homeland Security, they have now also issued a letter to decease and desist operations in the USA, under threat of legal enforcement against the network.

Players from France and Malta have also been blocked from playing on all Everleaf Network sites.

However Everleaf Network claims that all player funds are secure and ring fenced so hopefully all U.S. players will be paid in full.

Bodog Left US Market Players Moved To Bovada

The Bodog brand name is not operating in the United States anymore, all US players has been moved to a new brand called Bovada ! The Bodog brand name has left the U.S. market, all players from USA will now be served under the bovada.lv (lol) domain name extension from Latvia.

The Bodog brand will continue in Europe, Asia and the rest of the world. But, Bodog will not be catering to U.S. players anymore, in fact players from USA can NOT signup at Bodog, they are redirected to Bovada. Last summer the Bodog brand announced they would be leaving the U.S. market by the end of 2011. According to Bodog, nothing will change, just the brand name Bovada in the U.S.

U.S. players attempting to log into Bodog will have the new Bovada software automatically install on their computer with account and balances also transferring to the new website.

There will be many players that don´t like or trust (and rightfully so) a new website from Latvia on a .lv domain name. Now Bodog moved all players to a no name website (Bovada), which "most likely" has no legal ties to the Bodog brand. Therefore we believe the future for all the new Bovada players provides little to no trust or safety, from the former Bodog brand and reputation.

New Restrictions For Euro Tables On Everleaf Network

New policy and restrictions regarding the euro cash game tables on Everleaf Gaming Network !

Everleaf Gaming Network has just intruduced a new policy in December, that will limit the tables players can join once winning more than €750 during a week. Players that win more than €750 are greeted with this message: "You are not allowed to play on this table because your player rating is too high". When this happens the USD tables will still be available.

Each players status and restrictions will be reset at 0:00 AM ET each Sunday.

This new restriction only counts for the EURO cash game tables, NOT tournaments or SNGs. The total win does not include any tournament winnings, bonuses, rakeback, or any other promotions, only money won on EURO cash game tables count towards this new Everleaf network policy.

In theory the rules will only affect a relatively small number of players. These new rules were made by Everleaf gaming network management with the intention to improve the networks ecosystem, they are trying to protect depositing players from the biggest sharks. After all it is losing players that feed the games with new deposits, while winning players usually withdraw their winnings.

This affects RakebackSafe.com players at Minted Poker and Luvin Poker, but we still think these sites are worth playing on. The USD tables has no restrictions, the USD tables has very low rake (max $1), US players are welcome, and they offer 40% weekly rakeback payments.

Ongame Network Player Points System Change

All sites on the Ongame Network will change how Player Points are earned from November 24th. After this date, players at both ring/cash games and tournaments will earn 3.6 player points per $1 of rake paid. Points at ring games will continue to be adjusted according to the Essence system.

This change in calculating player points will have a positive impact on ring game players while being a negative for tournament players. The old ongame point system awarded 3.25 player points per $1 for ring game players, and 5 player points per $1 of tournament rake. Before players earned the equivalent of 40% or 63% rakeback, respectively, when clearing a standard 8x sign-up bonus. After 24th of November, all players will earn the equivalent of 45% rake/value/cash back when clearing a standard 8x bonus.

Entraction Network Changes Rakeback Rules

Important changes will be made regarding rakeback rules on the Entraction Network (NoiQ Poker) !

From November 2011 all rakeback players on the network and NoiQ Poker will be required to generate at least €33.33 in rake a week ( Friday to Thursday ) in order to be paid rakeback for that week.

Weekly rakeback at NoiQ Poker will now be based upon generating at least €33.33 in rake, that makes the minimum rakeback a player can be paid €10.

Important:
Amounts less than €10 is lost and will not roll over from one week to the next.

Players averaging €1,750+ rake a month should switch to NoiQ Poker´s VIP program, since this will be worth more than 30%. This can be done by mailing support.
