Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji appeared like a sun in 1469 to lift the mist of ignorance and show all how to live in harmony. To coincide with this weeks celebrations of the Prakash Divas of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, we welcome you to the launch of this new version of the Ramgarhia Gurdwara Coventry website.

Abundant with wisdom, mercy and humility, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji travelled the world to spread the message to adore the formless, abandon hypocrisy and serve the creation, selflessly without caste, colour and gender distinction.

Through this website, we hope that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message will spread to all far and wide. But we cannot achieve this by ourselves. We need your assistance. If you have anything you feel would be a worthy contribution to this website, be it stories, pictures, videos or audio you wish to share, then please get in touch or write a post to publish on the site.

We would also wish to extend our deepest thanks to the team of young sevadars who dedicated their own time to develop and create this new website through Seva and without needing to spend any of the Gurdwara’s funds. Without their committed help and expertise, none of this would have been possible.

Our intention is to make this new site practical, where we will be addressing some issues important to our community – both old and young. With Satguru’s kirpa we hope to create a platform to unite our fragile and divided community, where we can share the wisdom of our Gurus and ancestors and the values that were dear to our elders – all which we should pass onto the younger generations.

We are also currently working on a matrimonial system, again managed on a voluntary basis by some dedicated sevadars, and invite other Gurdwara’s who run similar services to take advantage of this by sharing their data with us. The Marriage Bureau was launched recently and runs every Sunday. Further information can be found on the Matrimonial Services section of the website.

Please also kindly bear with us while we fine tune this new site and develop it further to address the other needs of our community in the best way possible. There may be a few issues and areas which don’t quite work correctly, but we will get these sorted so help us out and let us know when you find any such errors.

Finally we wish all Sadh Sangat a happy and spiritually fulfilling Gurpurab.
