Well, you may remember Rocketdock, but after getting obsessed (not so much, now that I'm sorta bored of it), I took it to the next level. Yeah! I'm talking ShellVM, Windowblinds, wallpaper, new cursors, and a whole lot more! Just look at this screenshot:

It slowed down my computer a bit, but then I made it fast again by taking a little trip to the "Add and Remove Programs" button, and the "Empty [useless] cashe [from my old IE days]" button.

On XP Tweaks

Today, I would like to tell you my secrets of fast and organized XP.

Remember, before doing these, set a System Restore point.

1. Close all Windows and disable your screensaver.

2. Run Window's Disk Defragmenter. (Warning: Do NOT run any programs or use the computer while letting it defrag --- I lost all of my cursors doing that! --- Also why you set a System Restore point)

3. Run Disk Cleanup. Be very careful only to check the things it says in the article.

4. Install TweakUI. Select what you want to change.

5. If you have a backups folder, compress the files inside it. (The same goes to music if you DON'T use iTunes or other players.)

6. Keep up to date with updates. There is a reason you have a Windows Update/Microsoft Update. To protect from viruses, spyware, and hackers.

7. Install Spybot Search & Destroy and Norton Antivirus. Be sure to keep them up to date. Update (and immunize for S&D) every week, scan every month.

8. Download Firefox or Safari. They offer MUCH better protection against threats.

9. Change to Classic View in the style, Control Panel, and Start menu.

10. Reboot. You should now have a very fast XP.

Already, text message shortcuts have been adopted by those keen to get their point across in as little space as possible, be it advertising copy, poetry or Biblical passages.
Even Shakespeare - famously inconsistent in his own spelling - might succumb. Is it a great travesty to render his more famous passages in text message shorthand?
