This week a special show to replace Randall's Random Reviews. Since I spent all last week at the Americana Music Associations convention I didn't get around to any new CDs this week to review.

Instead I did an extra Americana Roots Review show that highlights some of the music from a panel I was on last Saturday. The panel was a "Demo Derby" where artists could submit music and have a panel review them.

Subscribe and listen this week to Wes Charlton, Jefferson Pepper, Patti-Anne Mathison, Slim Chanse, and the John D. Hale Band. I hope you enjoy it.

Another week and a late edition of the show. This week the latest effort from a true rising star, Adrienne Young & Little Sadie, and the CD "The Art of Virtue". I also review the debut CD from yet another Texas singer-songwriter. Check out Darryl Lee Rush and his album "Llano Ave."

And this week I implore you to do what you can for those struck by hurrican Katrina. The devastation and situation is horrific. You can donate by going to the Red Cross site at www.redcross.org. My wife and I pledged some money and if you are as fortunate as we are to be healthy, happy and safe then do what you can.
