Yamaha has a new motorcycle in store: BOLT by Star Motorcycles. The idea of just sitting on your motorcycle to cruise the empty streets of a metropolis in the middle of the night should get very excited. Even if you are not the easy-rider kind of guy. But you might turn into one if you have the slightest interest, because the price for this machine is just incredibly affordable. Who needs a car, please?

Tomorrow we are flying over to Istanbul for our next 91 Days but had to go back to the Bioparc (for the 3rd time in just 2 month) to say goodbye to our favorite animals. Pinned to the users’ shirt or worn as a necklace, MeCam catches every instant from a first-person point of view, recording each moment the way users see it. Users can easily upload the video to their computer via USB and can share their videos using their various social media outlets.

Martin, who founded MeCam LLC in late 2012, used his knowledge from a brief foray into the spy camera industry to bring that advanced technology to the mainstream. MeCams allow for that technology to be used in a fun and useful way without the negative connotations that come with spy wear.

The wearable video camera is less than two inches in diameter and weighs less than two ounces. It records video in 720p high-definition resolution at 30 frames per second and is equipped with a Lithium-ion battery for 80 minutes of continuous run time and up to 4 hours of video storage on a micro SD card.

MeCams also utilize LED infrared (IR) lighting to operate effectively in low light conditions and captures audio within a 10 foot radius. It can also take 5 megapixel still photos. Intended for fun and recognizable use, MeCams are available in a variety of colors and memory options. The hands-free camera is easy to operate for children and adults alike, and can be used for an endless array of applications.

This is the remote operated submarine that sends live video to an iPad from 100′ underwater. Ideal for viewing marine life or inspecting a boat below the waterline, the sub is tethered to its receiver on deck with a 100′ video cable. Communicating with the receiver using Wi-Fi, an app installed onto an iPad or laptop remotely controls the sub’s electric thrust and lift propellers for forward/backward (5 kts forward; 1 kt reverse), left/right, and up/down movement.

A virtual dashboard (an iPad’s motion sensors can also steer the sub) includes a joystick, camera controls, and displays depth, heading, battery level, and temperature data received from the sub’s built-in sensors. Zoos are depressing and sad … and did I mention that they are sad and depressing as well. Well not in the Bioparc in Valencia, Spain! The best zoo I ever went to. They opened up 5 years ago right after we moved from Ireland to Valencia. We loved it so much we get annual passes right away but gave them up again once we started traveling. But 5 years later we went back and It’s even better! An incredible zoo and can’t be missed! Fine … you think Madrid or Barcelona is such much more worth to visit than Valencia (which  I don’t agree to at all!) but the trip to Valencia is worth for the zoo! Maybe you find some time afterwards and you might find yourself to fall in love with this city and don’t even think about going back to those touristy over run other places in Spain! !

P.S. We bought an annual pass again … even though we are barely here!

Yes, I’m posting more on Random Good Stuff but not nearly enough. Too many things going on. The new site FreeBook Sifter and now selling photographs as well. It’s getting too much. But we have to plant little seeds here and there. For our retirement, you know! Because so far our getting old fund is not looking great. Sigh!

Yes, Idaho we left behind us now for a while. We are not for over back home in Valencia. And loving our time here but at the same time, the travel itch is itching. Want to know where we are going next? Well you probably already figured it… but it will for Istanbul For 91 Days.
