Line Nos 6, 18, 27, 34 and 42
How is the usage calculated… If the last time entry for the date is on the last line, where is the closing time for the relevant bandwidth usage ? As you can see the formula is returning a not-possible result

How is the usage calculated… between what hours did we use up 1.15 GB ? According to us, between 12:02:20 and 12:02:20 is zero secs :-)

How is zero usage calculated by you ? We would like to update our mathematical skills too pls :-) :-)

Why is there no standard time-frames for bandwidth calculation ? Like Hourly or every 3 hours or so ?

If its according to our usage, then Line Nos. 1, 2 & 3 (and 20 to 23) gives very fishy timings… it looks very calculated to the secondsAverage speeds are this atrocious ?

Couple of days back, we got the usual bandwidth-usage-data email from Airtel and were shocked to find that all 15GB of bandwidth had been used in 4 days between 5th and 9th...

The billing cycle starts on 5th and between 8.38AM and 11:38AM, the reading shows a consumption of 13.4 GB !!!! Now, we are not NASA or ISRO and the modem is switched off when the office is closed...

so we sent a query to AirTel....Someone called up asap and told us that there was a mistake and that they would revert the bandwidth to our a/c.... so when I asked them for an explanation, they disconnected....

this sorta perked up our antennae and we decided to probe further... We asked them for further information on the usage, which they claim is not possible as they don't archive data !!!!! After listening to hours of listening to IVRS and getting thro the ineffective, clueless call-centre idiots, we managed to reach someone who promised to check with the 'back-end' team and revert... at this point, we aired at our suspicions of an internal scam and wanted to talk to some senior VP or some internal Vigilance team... this Mr. Velmurugan assured that he will revert, so we waited...

Last night, he called me and informed that the back-end 'found-out' that we have consumed the data and that nothing else could be done about it....there is no way they can provide IP addresses etc about the usage..... if we wanted to, we could send a mail for further escalation. Well. We have decided to escalate through a Consumer Forum…

Now, what do you think ? we have two fixed systems and 2 laptops.. our plan is 8Mbps and we don’t watch porn at office is it possible to actually use 13 GB in such a short time, unless someone was downloading 20 movies at the same time … and at 8:30 am ? even assuming that our security has been compromise and we are being leeched from an external source, we are in a commercial complex, where estabs open only by 10am. The office is on the terrace and we don’t get signals from the modem beyond 30 ft…

We are amazed at the indifference of Airtel and so we are posting here to find out what others feel about this.. do you feel that we are being taken for a ride and that something fishy is going on ?

Awrite, the cats anycase outta the bag. I can't vouch for this, but my pal is close with the McMahon family and he called me this morning and gave me some info hapepning behind the scenes. Well, seems Stephanie McMahon got mighty bored watching Kane slug Triple-H. She was idly surfing channels when she landed up on TEN Cricket. It was exactly at this moment that Sreesanth got that wicket of Symonds and did his "I-will-kill-you-with-my-stare" bit, whacked the pitch 20 times and generally looked like Chennai commuter caught at Kathipara junction at 9:00am. She fell in love that instant...told her guys to speak to Sree.

One thing led to another and from what I hear, Sree is the new WWE Star and he will be promoted either as "Sree Hysterio" or "The Stare" (see pics). WWE feels that Sree would be the ultimate successor to The Undertaker in the Staring and Real-Bad-Guy-Look scenes. It is rumoured that some of the WWE Superstars have already approached T20 criceters, especially Symonds and Hadden to get some 1st-hand feedback on tackling Sree's stares.

The Stare's 1st match scheduled with John Cena had to be called off b'cos of Cena's injury last week. Now he will be facing Stone Cold at the Smack Down. The Media has already started calling it the "Stare Down".

a special match between him and The Great Khali is also being planned. Sree says "Well, always wanted to kick someone from Punjab after Bajji bashed me in the dressing room. Now I get my revenge. Watch Khali cry after the match... "
