I think from this point forward, I'll keep my belt on until the plane stops moving, like told. The Bombardier (smaller plane) had about 60 people on board waiting to finshing being taxied around.

Teen swallows bag of cocaine...... mug shot included

2010-12-02T12:05:00.000-08:00

FRAMINGHAM —
A Framingham teenager fought with officers Tuesday as they tried to prevent him from swallowing a bag of what appeared to be cocaine, police said.

Art Taylor, 18, swallowed the small bag but was arrested on several other charges after police pulled him over on Union Avenue at 8:35 p.m., police spokesman Lt. Ron Brandolini said.

Members of the street crimes unit patrolling Franklin Street saw a car turn onto Pearl Street without signaling. They stopped the car on nearby Union Avenue, but when they spoke to Taylor, he refused to give them his license or registration, Brandolini said.

"He made a quick movement to the center console, and there was small baggie with a white powder in it," Brandolini said. "He immediately made a movement to put it in his mouth."

An officer tried to stop him, but Taylor kept pushing his arm away. The officers dragged Taylor from the car, and he started fighting with them in the middle of the road.

By the time officers handcuffed him, Taylor had swallowed the bag, Brandolini said.

Police used a dog to search the car for other drugs, but nothing was found.

Taylor, of 624 Hollis St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and refusing to give police his license and registration. He was also cited for not using a turn signal.

Taylor pleaded not guilty at his Framingham District Court arraignment yesterday and was released without bail. He is due back in court Jan. 6 for a pretrial conference.

Reading that made me think of this old video...

Remembrance/Armistice/Veterans Day

2010-11-11T12:22:00.000-08:00

Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November to recall the official end of World War I on that date in 1918, as the major hostilities of World War I were formally ended "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month" of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice. (Note that "at the 11th hour", refers to the passing of the 11th hour, or 11:00 am.)

I haven't posted in a few weeks... I've been slacking.

Darkest couch intro yet?

For those that don't know who Banksy is, he's a political activist/painter. You've probably seen his work and didn't even know it.

Parkour is always fun to watch.... this video taught me something though...

Amateur parkour is much more fun to watch. (for those that don't know.. Parkour is when people jump all over the place... some call it free running. I'll post a video tomorrow.)

Gold plated drag BMW.

2010-10-06T11:21:00.000-07:00

Damn. (and not in a good way.)

When it comes to cars that divide opinions, I think you'll be hard pressed to top this. Say hello to Queen St's latest creation: a BMW M3 powered by a Mazda four rotor engine. A wicked creation that is half drag car and half show car. And yes, you're eyes aren't deceiving you; that really is a gold-plated motor.

Rod, Casey and I have been discussing this car since it debuted a few months ago, and we agreed it was a fitting inclusion for our Drag-themed month. I mean, it's not every day that you come across a 1600hp BMW M3 built on a chromoly full tube chassis, let alone one featuring nickel and 23 carat gold-plating.

It's hard to imagine that a car like this will ever turn a wheel in anger. Indeed, Queen St received plenty of criticism with their previous BMW drag cars. When owner Moey debuted their first E36 drag car, critics dismissed it as never being able to crank, let alone run down the quarter mile. However, the naysayers were proved well and truly wrong with the E36 setting a personal best of 7.1 @ 197mph. The old version of this E46 holds a PB of 7.2 @ 196mph.

The Pitt Bull ban in Ontario --- Bill 132

2010-10-05T06:07:00.000-07:00

I mentioned on someone's blog that I would post about this. It's a really shitty bill that was passed in 2005 (August 29th to be exact) The legislation bans pit bulls in Ontairo, places restrictions on existing pit bulls, and toughens the penalties for the o wners of any dog that "poses a danger to the public". This legislation makes me so mad, as EVERY pit bull I know, or have known; has been a great dog. It's all in how your dog is raised. They're Terriers... very loyal, very loving. And it really pisses me off knowing that for me to get a pit bull today, the dog will have to be 6 years or older. There are so many amstafs crowding kennels all over the United States, and there's nothing we in Ontairo can do about it :(

Here is some more information on the legislation if you're intrested...

* The amendments to the DOLA (dog owners liability act) will prohibit individuals from owning, breeding, transferring, importing or abandoning pit bulls.

To adopt a pit bull it must be
*Owned by an Ontario resident on August 29 '05, or
*Born in Ontario within 90 days after August 29th '05.

Owning a pit bull in Ontario
*Owners will have to have their pit bulls leashed and muzzled in public and comply with sterilization requirements.

*The regulations stipulate that restricted pit bulls be muzzled and leashed unless the dogs are on their owners' enclosed property or on enclosed property occupied by another person who consents to the pit bull being withour a muzzle or a leash.

*A leach may be a maximum of 1.8 metres long.

Now, we're getting to my favourite part of this amendment...

Under the amendments to DOLA, pit bull is defined as :

A pit bull terrier
A Staffordshire bull terrier
An American Staffordshire terrier
An American pit bull terrier
A dog that has an appearance and physical characteristics substantially similar to any of those dogs.

WTF IS THAT!

I can keep going on this subject, but I'd better get some real work done now.

Below you'll find some photos of these so called baby killers.
