A new report just out from the Internal Revenue Service reveals that 36 of President Obama’s executive office staff owe the country $833,970 in back taxes. These people working for Mr. Fair Share apparently haven’t paid any share, let alone their fair share.

Taxes are for the little people, like me evidently.
Update from Maggie's, it seems our Senators and Congressmen don't like paying taxes either!

Obama loves to waste taxpayer money.

The company, Ener1, received a $118 million grant from DOE in 2010 as part of the president’s stimulus package. The money, which went to Ener1 subsidiary EnerDel, aimed to promote renewable energy storage battery technology for electrical grid use.

But despite generous federal support for the company, Ener1 was racked by problems last year. In October, NASDAQ delisted the company due to non-compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission filing requirements. A month later, the company’s president, chief executive, and top financial officer were fired.

The upside is its nowhere near as much the other green failures this bunch has wasted money on.
Maybe the Government should just let the private sector risk money, they are a much safer bet...

State Of The Union Speech? America Tuned Out

Its almost like folks are sick of him.

President Obama’s State of the Union Address was the lowest rated of his presidency, down 12 percent from last year’s speech.

Obama drew 37.75 million viewers last night on 14 networks and cable news channels, according to the website TVbythenumbers, which tracks television ratings.

Carney told reporters today that Obama has proposed “what is by any clear-eyed definition a very common-sense, centrist agenda.” He criticized Republicans for ”the obstructionist approach” they have taken to the president’s policies.

Huh? I don't know where to go with this. Obama is so far left of center the scale breaks.

“Under President Obama’s leadership, there’s been a 41 percent increase in food stamp recipients in the United States of America,” West told TheDC after hosting a Conservative Black Forum on Capitol Hill Monday.

“If there are people such as Rep. Clyburn that don’t want to face up to the truth then that’s on them and I think it’s absolutely reprehensible that they feel that the only thing they can fall back on is try to create some type of racial division which we know that the Democrats are already trying to create some type of class warfare division as well,” he said.”

He puts the racist in their proper place on a daily basis. I love it!

The Congressional Black Caucus on Monday night took to the House floor to charge that voter ID laws popping up around the country are aimed at dissuading minority voters from voting, and making it harder for President Obama to win re-election.

Congress Can Tell Obama To Pound Sand

Capitol Hill lawmakers probably have the Constitution at their back if they require a permit for the Keystone XL oil sands pipeline that President Obama rejected days ago, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service.

Our state Senator, who is no where near as conservative as I would like is right on this.

Sen. John Hoeven (R-N.D.), who is planning a separate bill to put approval in the hands of Congress, requested the study.

“I think this confirms what we have been saying all along – Congress has the authority under the Constitution to approve the Keystone pipeline,” said Ryan Bernstein, Hoeven’s deputy chief of staff and legal counsel.  “It gives great weight to not only our bill but any bill Congress considers,” he added.

We are a energy driven country and Canada is a better trading partner than any Mid-East country ever will be.

It doesn’t matter that, you know, that there were more people on food stamps under George W. Bush. It doesn’t matter that his suggestion is that minorities are the ones who get food stamps, that far more white people get food stamps. It doesn’t matter that working people get food stamps in order to feed their families. Facts don’t matter to him and it makes for great, it makes for great talk.

USDA data released this week shows that the number of Americans receiving food aid from the Supplemental Nutrional Assistance Program (SNAP) hit another all-time high in August. 45.8 million people -- almost 15% of the country -- were enrolled in the program, which replaced Food Stamps in 2008. This is only a slight increase from July, when 45.3 million Americans were receiving SNAP help -- but a massive 31% jump since June 2009, when the National Bureau of Economic Research declared the most recent recession over.

That part about all time high was too hard to understand? These people are in their own little worlds. They believe what they want, they say what they want. Facts don't matter! She has a mission, and that is to see that Newt (and ~~most~~ all Republicans) get the worst possible press treatment possible.

The chief of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona is refusing to testify before Congress regarding Operation Fast and Furious, the federal gun-running scandal that sent U.S. weapons to Mexico.

Patrick J. Cunningham informed the House Oversight Committee late Thursday through his attorney that he will use the Fifth Amendment protection.
