She is a stay at home mother with unbelievable commitment to nurturing her children.
She is a gardener and tends to her plot of land.
She is a friend.
She is a first class cook.
She is an entrepreneur.
She is my “lover” that loves to sing no matter…what I think.
She is a hard working and dynamic sales woman.
She has an insatiable sense of humor and lightning quick wit.
She is a designer.
She is brilliant.
She is brutally honest and relentlessly forgiving.
She is not proud or self seeking.
She goes without for the sake of others.
She is full of compassion…specifically for dirty muts.
She is a follower of Jesus.
She is the beautiful 17 year old I fell in love with 13 years ago.

She is my everything and today February 11th she is 30.

The best is still to come.  Celebrate her birthday with me by sending her a kind word.

BTW:  Because its convenient for both our friends and us we’ll be having a combined birthday party in lue of two thirtieth bday bashes.  Sunday Feb. 21st, 5pm @ The Twogoods. Consider this an invite.

This was a bad year for tomatoes at our house.  I was generally so grossed out by the every fungus/blight/bug that I dont’ think I ate one that I enjoyed.  Lately Morée slipped a few into various meals.  Ends up they came from the rock bed on the side of the house.  Yep.  The best tomatoes we had all year are growing late summer early fall out of the rock on the north side of the house.  When I say out of the rock I mean out of the rock.  There is a very thick layer of roofing material on the ground instead of the usual weed block.

I would have more pictures of the garden since we are wrapping up the growing season but our camera has died.  It lasted 7 years so I guess I can’t really complain.

“I call it Branson Lite,” says Pollack, an aficionado of vintage country music. “There are senior citizens who travel the country in RVs, and this is one of the places they go.”
