Pet Edition - Blue Pixie

The Blue Pixie (BP) is one of the more popular pets in Rappelz. While the Red Pixie is adept at damaging opponents, the BP concentrates on healing, with healing spells similiar to those of the Cleric. Stage 0 Blue pixies don't offer any buffs, but the Staged pixie can learn a buff spell.

The BP is the best readily-available healing pet in the game, especially if it is staged. It easily out-heals a Unicorn or Angel, healing multiple targets in a party and also increasing a target's HP regen % with the stage skill. Once the Blue Pixie is stage 5 it also outheals an Ifrit. The level 150 active skill makes a Blue Pixie an incredible asset for sieges; the skill can heal a dungeon core for millions of HP. The BP's ressurection skill also proves useful in certain situations, like ressing a healer in a dp if there is no Druid.

Blue Pixies are great healers, however they lack nukes and their base damage is very low (it's based on the BP's Dex and Agi stats, both of which are low), making them very poor choices for pets to deal damage with. Also, the base vitality on the pixie is relatively low, which means if it pulls aggro it can easily be killed if not quickly rescued.

Overall, this pixie is by far one of the best pets in the game. Drawing aggro with a pixie is always an issue but it can be countered by carefully timing heals. At higher levels a party's damage output is usually so high that it becomes almost impossible for a Blue Pixie to steal aggro. Granted, it has virtually no damage and tanking ability, but it can easily be kept out of harm's way. And it is by far the best healer in the game when it's staged.

Blue Pixie cards may drop from any monster at any lv.

Hello, LadyLuck haven't log in game because I got tired of the kids there. Everytime I log ppl is fighting over PIXELS and the funny part, most of them are 20yrs old or 30... So yeah, I cant be around of idiots who take a game so serous. I only log to check my account (since Gala security system cant be trust it) and to say hi to the guild. I wish I could play the game without stalkers who dont even let you dp or kill a boss because they will PK since they think is THEIR GAME, THEIR SPOT and THEIR BOSS. Out of that, there's no more respect from the players and GM's. Players calling names to anyone at the point that is disgusting to see how the community has turned. GM's thinks the players are stupid enough to spend more money on CS timed CRAP. Oh yeah, that's one of the reason, new cash shop items that are timed and I heard there will be more coming, so the game will turn into a timed CS. The events are really crappy this last yrs, there used to be nice events with cs items drops for any reason, not anymore, the cool events like Halloween and Thanksgiving are more crappier every yr. You have to farm for hrs to get shit. Im so upset and disappointed about Rappelz players and Gala net. I will keep taking a break for now, who knows if I start lvling my alts or something any time soon... Btw, im not playing others MMO's, only played Diablo 3 and haven't touch it for weeks, I been playing PS3 for now and barely do it since I been busy with work and taking care of REAL LIFE stuff...

Btw, to those who only play Rappelz 24/7 (and think they are superior cuz of that) my suggestion is, get a fking life and stop btching at others. Get a REAL relationship, REAL friends and get out of the fking PC that gives you nothing but frustration! Stop hiding your ugly ass face behind a screen and enjoy REAL LIFE! How long u been playing Rappelz? On and off for about 4 years now
Tell us about ur character: Foolishly always in the thick of things, if not for his gears and obsi... Well let's just say it wouldn't be a pretty sight...
Why that name? I was 14 at the time and trying to be funny, it was originally meant to pertain to the 'Knights of Ni' - from Monty Python's Holy Grail, but I horribly mutated it...
Why that class? I wanted a class that was brutal and could take hits for a very long time
Your favourite pet and why? I'd have to say Genie, it's an epic DDer and it just looks pretty cool. The lightning makes it look like he's super saiyan
How did u knew about Rappelz? Do u remember the epic and how was it? Saw dad play it and wanted in on it. I started in May '08 and I started in epic 4 (loved those times)
What you like about Rappelz? I guess what's kept me in this game for this long is my guild, yeah we havent always had golden moments, there were some bad ones (not ugly, but certainly not pretty moments either) but we clung together like family.
What would you change about it? Lot's of things Make the amount of xp and jp you get from the major questlines smaller, in all honesty, it annoys me when I get a dp where people have no idea of how to play a class and rely on people using HLPs. I'd also like a balance to the PvP system, it would probably work if they made all dura items weaker (after seeing videos and pics of people beng able to hitting 500k and 2-hit-KO with spams... gotta wonder of the skill involved in that...
Tell us ur best or funniest moment in Rappelz: The worst thing it ever happened to you (in game): Hmm well to this point nothing 'really' bad has happened to me; selling a +1 CTC back when I was just new to the game for about a mill (i.e. scammed) - always seems to happen when I start new games... and the other was when I got a golem, my friend said he desperately wanted it so I sold it to him very cheaply (6.5b when it was 9b+) and when he sold it... it kinda annoyed me that I his wishes above my own and that was the end result - not to mention he's damn rich relative to me as well...
Do you have more characters? I have quite a few, a bishop (who will become a cardi soon), an sb for taming (and my main source of income), druid, wl and a sin I use for hc farming.
What do u expect of the future of the game? It depends on how GMs perform (and obviously the guys upstairs). If they get their act together and show that they care for us (I know Frag is doing an excellent job from what I hear so kudos to him), and they (the devs) add content that'll add value to the game, not just cherry coat everything, then I think this game still has a few more years left in it.
What re ur in-game plans? Get epic gears for my main, and the same can be said for my Genie. Get a s5 uni so I can solo in HC and my bp to s5 so I can solo bosses a little better.
How you balance and manage your RL + Rappelz? Real life comes first and foremost, everyone who knows me understands and respects that. Rappelz is like a mind numbing session where I just chill, although it becomes very un-chill when you're dealing with noobs
Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm kinda weird..I like listening to my metalcore (Bullet For My Valentine ), but I also like listening to some other stuff (like Knife Party (The ones from Australia, not the other one) and on rare occasions j-pop and watching animes (I blame my Asian-ness for that ). I enjoy doing some things outdoors like going for runs but I also have a deep passion to restart cricket again (only popular if you're from certain countries)
What do you like the most about your guild? It's tight, we're like a second family and we get along pretty well. When we tried becoming a big guild, we didnt do it all too well and it just didnt create the right vibe.
What you think about PK? There's a time and place for everything. If you're like implode and noobwithnofriends who pk noobs to make themselves look big then you're no better than a school yard bully. However hori bridge or dropping people or stirring you up, it's fair game.
If you could create your own - ingame- rules, what would they be? No God-potting in sieges! There's no joy in killing someone anymore since they'll be revived within seconds.
If you could add a new pet, what would it be? Mardukas would be pretty cool to have as a pet.

6/07: Epic 7 Reanimation Update

Added The Labyrinth as a new dungeon for the master classes that requires a party to enter. (means u cant solo)
Added the Lydian, a normal basic pet that is rideable. (@ Fenrir a fresh oen cost 1b, wait for price to decrease, before getting one - same thing happened with Wolf)
Revamped various UI: quest UI, party UI, world map UI, etc.
Added 3 new events to celebrate the launch of Reanimation.
Extended EXP boost event for one additional week.
Added new belts, earrings, and rings that give a set bonus (found in the Labyrinth)

Im not really excited about the new patch, is just a Lydian and a new dungeon... The dungeon is Lv 160+ and the "DOTS" are back again, killing people while running.

How long u been playing Rappelz? 2008
Tell us about ur character: My Character is better for solo I am suppose to be support but I am built more for damage and solo. I can play that role but for the most part I solo duo trio and quad. I find that is all you need for a good dung run.
Why that name? It was my Call of Duty Name and I got it from the show "The Unit" if you know the show you will also notice my BP is named CoolBreeze and my RP is named BettyBo.
Why that class? I love playing solo but when in party I kind of like playing support as well.
Your favorite pet and why? Blue Pixie because the one I have not minus the staging is the same BP I have had sense day one, I rasied it myself
How did u know about Rappelz? Xfire a few of my Call of Duty friends wanted something new to play, we must have downloaded about 30 different mmo games when I seen Rappelz on Xfire and I believe it was just coming out of Beta for North America
Do u remember the epic and how was it? What ever Epic was released here after Beta I could be wrong but i believe it was EPIC3
What you like about Rappelz? The over all Social game with in the game, It is great to see how people from all over the world interact when we don't have our Goverments fucking everything up.
What would you change about it? SCREEN SHOTS and PEOPLE BITCHING WHEN THEY GET KILLED. Oh and the lazey ass use of QQ instead of saying crying even though I sound like I am right now.
Tell us ur best or funniest moment in Rappelz: The best would have to be the day hhmm?? I guess it would have to be the day I was out in the cemetery out in Hori west. I could not have been playing very long because I was working on overbreeding my second toon "back when you were a god on the server if you were lvl100" . I had just been added to Kingdom Hearts guild. I was out farming out there next to the high spawn site every one knows or knew next to the mountain. When I got my first real taste of a PKer. I don't even remember the guys name. All I remember asking was how was this guy able to kill me in guild chat. When all of a sudden I got a asked by the leader and a few of the members where I was. I told them and with in second I would say no less than 30 Kingdom Hearts showed up, a long with their allies. The next thing I knew we have all of them there and some other group of people showed up must have been about 20 of them and it was a all out war for about 2 hour war.

Do you have more characters? Yes but I rarely play them I mainly use SnakeDoC
What do u expect of the future of the game? I believe there is enough players on all the servers to keep the gaming going for some time as long as they can get the hacking under control. I mean we have what 5 different servers now. Minus the rules they could change them all to one server one day and make them standard Fenrir type rules. So again as long as the hacking can get under control we should see this game for a few more years.
What are ur in-game plans? To have fun and keep playing the way I have sense the start. would like to see my guild grow a bid so we can join the fun on the weekends but it is hard to find people that are commented to just one group. You know not a clan whore.
How you balance and manage your RL + Rappelz? Simple I know when it is time to hit the power button. When that is off it is time for work and RL play when I am home and bored I turn the power on.
Tell us a bit about SnakeDoC: Well gaming I have been playing video games sense 1982 I started on the Commodore 64 my mom got me and played it on a 10 inch black and white TV with a head phone jack in the side of it so my mom could not hear me playing it. I have had pretty much ever console out there and I still come back to the PC. I have been a guild/clan leader of JointOps Gaming Community for 13 years now http://flyingright.net. The first guild/clan name was {wFc} for the game called Sudden Strike.

Unfortunately, the login server/web portal migration schedule has been delayed. There are many factors which resulted this delay; however, we have decided that the consecutive down-times from the Epic 7 Reanimation and the login server migration would cause too much inconvenience to the players.

As result, we will proceed with the Epic 7 Reanimation update as scheduled on 6/6. But the login server/web portal migration will be delayed until 6/11.
