As the others, I thank you Tom - it's a well written letter, that can touch their hearts. I have several friends at work that I've presented the Gospel to, many times... and I've left a couple of letters in my desk, for after the Rapture. I'll add this one - I can only imagine, if I were in their shoes after the Rapture, and the utter fear I'd feel. Anything that can shine the way will be appreciated, I'm sure.

yes I have had an urgency for a while now to write letters to those I think might get left behind.
I prefer to use old fashioned paper and pen as I don't know whether electronics will work later on , or even if sites like this one may be removed/blocked.
I have a big envelope with letters, tracts, information, and bibles which I am going to be leaving in my bedside drawer in case my husband doesn't come with us. I think I might make a collection of bibles so they can be used afterwards as I think bibles will be banned.

I thought it was a good time to revisit this issue since there have been so many new members come on board the last few months and may find this letter helpful.

This is a letter composed a number of years ago to share with our friends and family that might be left behind. It has most all the answers as to what has happened and what they can do about it. Please feel free to copy and use this letter in any way you want.

Dear loved ones,

We are missing and the whole world is in chaos and has gone mad. This letter is to let you know what has happened and how you can make wise decisions that will effect your eternal destination and the salvation of your soul.

We hope you will take the time to read this. We love you and pray this letter will be of some help to you in answering the millions of questions you may have as to WHAT IS GOING ON.

We have done our best to support our thoughts and suggestions herein with scripture from Gods Holy Word to show that we're not just making things up. If you don't already have a Bible then just use one of ours that should be here in our room. There are troubled and deceptive times ahead and the Bible will be your only trustworthy guide.

We have written this letter to you because we believe the event commonly known as “the Rapture” is soon to take place. “The Rapture,” as it is commonly known, is an event whereby God redeems from the Earth those that are His and that love Him. (; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1st Thessalonians 4:16-18 John 11:25,26) Soon after this event is the beginning of the time of Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-28) spoken about in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 4thru19) and the Book of Daniel (Daniel 7thru12). This time of Tribulation is also known in scripture as The Day of the Lord, and if you look it up you'll find it spoken of often by the prophets of the Old Testament (i.e. Isaiah 13, Joel 2, etc.) as well as referenced in a couple of letters in the New Testament (1 Thessalonians 5, 2 Peter 3).

Deception is high in preparation for the rapture, even as I write this. Talk abounds as various religions and movements have been prepared to excuse away the rapture. New Age individuals talk about a coming “enlightenment shift” and those who are “unenlightened” and “holding the world back” will be taken away. Some who follow UFOs and aliens will claim that aliens took us, for various reasons (some will say good, some will say bad). There may even be a disaster or global upheaval to try and explain our disappearance. There's lots of chatter right now, but one thing is consistent: things are changing. Many people are very concerned with trying to find an excuse for the Rapture and make it look bad. Do not follow after any of these, there is only deception there.

There's little reason to study the rapture at this point. we bring it up so that you will be prepared to hear these kinds of excuses and will recognize them for the lies they are.

Let's focus on something more immediately useful to you:

It's not too late! (Revelation 7:14-17, 20:4)

There is hope! (Psalm 31:24, 33:18,22, 78:7, 147:11; Isaiah 8:17; Jeremiah 17:7; Romans 15:13)

God DOES love you! (John 3:16-17)

Jesus Christ is STILL the answer and the way back home to God! (John 6:68-69)

The first thing you must do, if you have not already done so, is believe in Jesus Christ and invite Him to be your Savior and Lord. You must trust that He is who He claims to be in the scripture. Jesus is the Son of God, He is God in the flesh. (John 1:1-5,14) He became a man and died as a substitution sacrifice to pay for the sins of humanity. (Romans 5:18-19) He was resurrected from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:17) and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. (Mark 16:19)

You may have heard that the wages of sin is death. (Proverbs 10:16; Romans 6:23) Sin, which is disobedience to God, produces death which is eternal separation from God. God is the source of all life. (Genesis 1) To rebel against Him naturally leads to death. God, who is perfectly just (Psalm 50:6), must eradicate sin.

Everyone has sinned. All of us. All fall short of God's standard (Romans 3:23.). We all deserve death and eternal separation from God, in hell, for our crimes (John 3:18-21). This is why we need Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew). We needed God to step in and take the punishment for us (2 Corinthians 5:21). And so He became a man, a perfect and sinless man, who willingly gave Himself up in our place. (1 John 4:19)

That's the crux of it. We don't earn entry to Heaven. We can't. What we can do is accept the free gift God is offering. He is offering everyone a full pardon. (Romans 5:15-17) We accept that offer by believing in Him and what He has done for us. We accept that we're wrong and He's right and that we want to stop rebelling and be with Him again. That is the way home. That is the way out. That is the story of the prodigal son, who is all of us. (Luke 15:11-32) Jesus is the bridge home.

First we believe. Then, love follows. How can we help but love Him who was humbled, who was humiliated, who suffered, tortured and died for OUR sake, so we don't have to be? (1 John 4:9-10) It is out of this wellspring of love that we seek Him, knowing now that He is real, and wanting to obey Him. (1 John 5:3) I think the essence of obedience can be best summed up with these verses, from Matthew 22:37-40:

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

First we believe, then we love, and through love we obey. This is good, but for you, during this time of greatest deception at the end of the age, there is something else you must do. Scripture tells us to resist the Devil. (James 4:7) Daniel and his friends refused to worship the image of the King of Babylon (Daniel 3), and so must you.

You MUST NOT worship the new leader/ruler/king or whatever form he appears in nor his image! The Bible calls this man the Beast and he is assuredly evil, no matter how appealing, convincing & powerful he appears; no matter what kinds of miracles he seems to perform. (Revelation 13) He is unrepentant evil the likes of which the world has not known. There is NO HOPE to be found in him. Accompanying him is the False Prophet; he lends credence to the Beast with all manner of lying signs and wonders. These mark the deception of the Devil. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

You MUST NOT accept any kind of mark or implant in your right hand or your forehead! You must resist this at all costs.

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” (Revelation 13:16-18)

Many people believe it will take the form of a sub-dermal microchip, possibly with medical and financial information, so be mindful that it could come in many forms. You will need this mark in order to engage in commerce, in order to be a part of the new society, new world order, new age, by whatever name they are calling it. You must reject the mark, the leader and his new world order. You must reject it even unto death.

“Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.” (Revelation 14:9-10)

Revelation 20:4 shows the destiny of those who choose God over the Devil. There will be trials and hardship, but God promises that if you reject the Beast you will live and reign with Christ.

The Tribulation period lasts for seven years. (Daniel 9:27) More information regarding the specific hardships and judgments can be found in Revelation. I recommend you study it extensively. Along with Revelation you can start reading the gospels starting with John. John is the book that shows the heart of Jesus. The other gospels tell about his life and ministry.

I've tried to include all the information you and anyone might need to deal with the deception and reunite with God unto salvation. Trust God, He will see you through this (Psalm 23). Have faith (Hebrews 11:1). Trust the original scriptures, not any new bibles, new scriptures or new religions (Revelation 22:18-19). If you see two people in Jerusalem preaching about Jesus, they're messengers from God to the world (Revelation 11).

You CAN do this, because He makes it possible and gives you the strength. (Philippians 4:13) Remember, if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31)

If you believe any of this, then please, tell others. They need to hear it just as much as you.

To be in a personal "covenant" relationship with Yeshua as a Gentile believer is not replacement theology. As a believer in the Jewish Messiah as The Savior of our spirits and souls(and soon to be new bodies) and to trust and obey Him as His Holy Spirit leads us step by step is to be in a covenant relationship with Him.

A covenant is nothing more than an agreement between two or more parties. The Lord Jesus Christ has given us his promises in His Word and when we accept, believe and live in those promises we are indeed in a covenant relationship.

As Gentile believers, we have been spiritually grafted into the family of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Jewish Messiah lives in me and I find my life hidden in Him. All praise be to the Father, for He chose us for His Son before the foundation of the Earth.

True replacement theology teaches that all of God's promises and covenants with Israel are no longer valid and were passed on to the gentile nations and of course that is a lie from the pit of H E L L.

A Messianic Jewish friend at church gave me a copy of an essay by Michael Brown, PhD regarding Rabbinic Judaism. To condense it painfully, Rabbinic Judaism puts more weight on the Rabbinical interpretation of scripture than the scripture itself. Which is why orthodox Jews tend to tell us Christians that we just don't understand what the scripture "really means". Back in Yeshua's day the Essenes (where John the Baptist grew up) believed in Moses and the Prophets (as apparently did Yeshua considering the story of Lazarus and the rich man), The Sadducees didn't believe in the oral tradition, the written traditions, or the resurrection. The Pharasiees believed in the scriptures, oral tradition, and the written down oral traditions (Mishnah, Talmud).

Today's observant Jews seem to rely on the teaching of their Rabbi's which also seem to rely on the Talmud in addition to the scriptures, and they still use the rabbinical teachings (which are frequently contradictory) to interpret the scriptures which I think is why they continue to be blind in part to the Gospel / Yeshua.

It is essential for us to understand the Jewish nature of the Acts age and the Acts age epistles. If you will notice in Hebrews 8 where we are reminded of the future coming of the New Covenant for Israel alone, it states that the Old Covenant was slowly coming to an end. That is, it was still in effect. Paul preached the keeping of the ceremonial part of the law for Jewish believers in Acts 21. This is well into his ministry and long after Pentecost. There was still a separation of Jewish and Gentile believers (seen clearly in Romans 11 as well).

In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. -Hebrews 8

Paul and Peter both preached to Israel. The nation was not put aside at Pentecost. Peter and James specifically wrote to Jewish believers and Paul differentiated Jews and Gentiles in his Acts epistles. Acts 15, approved by the Holy Spirit, laid a mini-law on Gentiles and the ceremonial law on Jews. We do neither today. We don't hold to anything decided in Acts 15 in regard to the law.

The OC was never for salvation, but a covenant whereby Israel would be a kingdom of priests for the nations (Gentiles). Read Ex 19. This will come to pass in the future as we see in Zech 8. You should read that whole chapter, but here is how it ends:

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’”

This is the promise of the New Covenant with "virgin Israel" (Jer 31). If you take "virgin Israel" and read "the church which is His Body" you are doing the work of the replacement theologians. Please just read Jeremiah 31 and see that the New Covenant is future and for Israel (Jer 31, Heb 8 both make that clear). If you can read Jeremiah 31 through Jer 33 and see the doctrine of the gospel of grace for the Body, you are doing what the anti-Semites do (and ignoring the words of the text itself). It makes no sense to try and shove the Body in there. That is replacement theology.

The law made provision for gentiles to worship the Lord, they just could not participate in the Feasts unless they became proselytes. That is, the OC was a covenant with Israel concerning the land, not a covenant of salvation. The Book of Romans addressed that error.

We are not in covenant with the Lord, we are the creation of promise, a Body that was created before the foundation of the world (Eph 3). The covenants were created since the foundation of the world.

John Darby knew this doctrine was dangerous to a proper understanding of scripture and warned us of not adopting the doctrine of the replacement theologians:

The first covenant was made with Israel; the second must be so likewise, according to the prophecy of Jeremiah… Although there is no difficulty here [Heb 8], it is important to have light with regard to these two covenants, because some have very vague ideas on this point, and many souls, putting themselves under covenants, that is, in relationship with God under conditions in which He has not placed them-lose their simplicity, and do not hold fast grace and the fullness of the work of Christ, and the position He has acquired for them in heaven. – J.N. Darby

I could further quote Gabelein, Anderson, Chafer and others who were chief in rescuing the truths in regard to Israel from the Replacement theologians.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, since the Bible is a Jewish book written by Jews, about their customs, traditions, beliefs, etc., it is a wonderful resource to have the commentaries via the Jewish believers that have lived and studied the religion. It brings a new understanding of what the author is trying to convey.

We studies Genesis and Numbers, and the book of Numbers go side by side with the book of Hebrews, that is why now we are going to study this book.

I am very excited about this class. I am thinking about put the lessons on Youtube after I retire at the end of Jan. 2013. I will let our family here at Rita Now know when the videos are up and whoever would like to listen to the lessons can do so. I don't want to make long videos, 10 minutes are long enough. I will not show my face, because I don't want it to be about me, it is about our G-d and His son Yeshua.

Yesterday I had a wonderful pouring of the Holy Spirit while praising G-d. I have been praying for my heart to be cleansed and to feel clean from all my sins. It happened yesterday, I closed my eyes, and something took hold of my mouth and started to speak a language that I don't know where it came from. I had to sit down, I wanted to control it, but I could not. I asked the lady behind me to help me, so she came and prayed over me, as I sobbed and my body shook. There were times that my mouth seemed to be moving in the speed of light. I could not get away from speaking whatever was coming out of my mouth. One of my friends came over and asked me if I was OK, but I could not break away from whatever I was into. I did not want anyone to interrupt it.

I came home and listened to gospel music, and I went into prayer mode again, kneeling on the floor of my front room, again the Spirit came over me and started to speak in the same language. What a wonderful experience.

My nephew Israel will finish a 20 days fast, pray, and worship. He told me that G-d is going to pour alot of water over me. He said that this is the Holy Spirit coming into my life. I have been hearing a calling from G-d, since I don't know yet what it is I am going on a fast next month, probably after Feb. 7th. How long I don't know. I will be taking requests from anyone wanting answers from G-d at this time. I will let everyone in this site know when this will be done.

My brother told me that his son, Israel, wrote all things down and that G-d has shown him wonders.

Sounds like an amazing class. I would love to take classes such as this! Right now, I'm doing my own "armchair" study on hermeneutics, which is the science of Bible interpretation. Among a few other concepts, one of the ideas is to study the Word according to traditions and culture of the time the Scriptures were written instead of comparing them to today's society (like the old, tired argument "Paul's a misogynist!" and so on).

It definitely brings on a new flavor to the text. Its one of the reasons I have a deep desire to study from the Hebrews' perspective, because we don't see Christ challenging the Pharisees as anything particularly shocking today. They're the "bad guys", and we read it as such. But in those days, they were the "good guys", and folks would have been in awe (maybe a little terrified?) of this crazy Teacher from Galilee calling them hypocrites!

In February I am going to a new class in which we will be studying the Book of Hebrews. We are using three books for this class. I am reading the first one which is titled "Hebrews through a Hebrew's Eyes" by Dr. Stuart Sacks. This book has alot of information and explanations about the Hebrew traditions, prayers, the Talmud, the Mishnah, the beliefs of the Pharisees in the time of Yeshua/Jesus. I am learning much from reading this book.

Last night as I was reading and taking notes I read and stopped and meditated over this paragraph page 43:

"Another element in the Messiah's "progression" to the point of priestly perfection involves his obedience. Although the Messiah entered this world without the taint of sin, it remained for his innocence to be tested thoroughly. If the savior of men was to stand in their place as a righteous offering he would first have to show that he totally embraced the commands of the Torah. Only his total obedience would qualify him to offer himself up on our behalf; only then could one man's obedience declare many righteous (Romans 5:19).

When I read this paragraph I just could not read on, I had to meditate and reflect about what it was saying. The giver of the law, came to earth, became flesh, had to be tested, suffer pain, so He could identify with us.

The other books we will be reading for this class are:

Paul the Jewish Theologian, A Pharisee among Christians, Jews, and Gentiles - by Brad H. Young.

Ariel's Bible Commentary, A Messianic Jewish Epistles, Hebrews, James, Peter I & II, and Jude.

Since the Book of Hebrews was written to the Jewish believers, it is necessary to understand the traditions, beliefs, and the way the Jewish believers were living in those days. They were being persecuted by their belief in the One and true Messiah of Israel. The hardest rejection for a Jew to live through is the rejection of his/her own family. To be called meshumed (traitor) to the faith of his/her fathers.

I pray that this posting will enlighten some of my Rita Now family.

And that's exactly what just happened, and where we have now gone. Oh, knowing the media as I do, I am sure that there are many attempts to explain it - UFO's, alien abductions, a harmonic convergence, a government program, FEMA camps, cosmic shift, worm holes, and the list goes on and on. But none of those explanations really satisfy you, do they? I mean, it's hundreds upon hundreds of millions of people, right? Could any one government, no matter how corrupt, really process that many people in the "blink of an eye". No, they could not. You know better than that.

In the Book of the Revelation, what happened to John in chapter 4, verses 1 & 2, is what has now happened to all of us who are gone. "After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. Great suggestions for materials Robert. In addition to my Rapture reference books on my bookshelf, bibles all over the house, I've also put many things on my desktop window, should anyone venture into my computer. I've put my Left Behind letter on the desktop and a Tribulation Map from Jack Kelley's site Gracethrufaith: http://gracethrufaith.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/last-days-map.pdf

I've also downloaded the New Testament into a text file twice - once mislabeled just in case overt "Christian" files are confiscated somehow.

Dear Friends,

As we approach the probable date for the rapture of the Bride of Christ, this Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets on September 16-18, 2012, many of you like myself are thinking about those loved ones who will be left behind.

What would be the best materials to leave behind for them to find and learn the truth about what happened that caused the disappearance of their loved ones and thousands more worldwide.

Those left behind will need to be educated regarding the truth of what has happened. There are of course many books and articles that might be gathered and placed in some conspicuous place. A short list compiled by reviewing my own bookshelf might contain the following:

These references all explain what has happened, why and what will happen next after the rapture has occurred. It is important that those who are left behind be given information on how they can turn to Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Saviour, even after the Bride has been removed.

It is also important that they be warned of the dangers that lie ahead. The New World Order under the Antichrist will demand worship at a future time. They must be warned not to take the mark of the beast to be able to buy and sell in that future economy. They must also be warned of the dangerous delusions that will be rampant concerning UFO’s as extraterrestrial visitors looking out for our best interests when they are in truth the instruments of fallen angels and demons who want to bring as many as possible with them into hell.

I hope the above lists are meant to be suggestive of the types of material that can be useful and will start everyone thinking about materials that each person has personally available that can help those left behind. Please say a prayer now that their eyes will be opened to the importance of accepting God’s only way of salvation: our dear Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I just don't understand the disconnect - if you know there's a God and you know He Raptured the Christians... Why, then, would you hate Him? Because He didn't take YOU?

For some people, because they were left behind ... even though they were "good" -- in fact, they were way better than Laura and Carlos and Yvonne who were raptured!

For other people, because their children disappeared. People who seem to have all the answers about what's been going on lately tell them that God stole their children, and they'll never see them again....

Many people have what we would consider weird ideas about God. Someone I used to know well was stubbornly stuck on the version of God that the nuns taught him when he was in first and second grade. Very simplistic and mostly wrong. God was a mean and irrational old man with a lot of strange rules. He didn't want anyone to have fun.

Amen! It's so hard to find a good Bible believing church (I don't attend "church" ether). I'd love to find one though! That's why I like forums for that's how I mainly get fellowship.

The True Church will be gone. It reminds me how there was churches who caved into the Nazis and the Communist Russia's SU. Yet, there was still true believers belonging to Jesus. Those were false churches that caved in. The true Church still followed Christ. As it will be once the rapture happens.

You can see the hate people have now for those who have Jesus. That's why we need to love our enemies. That's what the brothern did in Communist Russia. And the fruitage surely showed!

This is speculation on my part, but this is what I think is going to happen:

The New Age folks are talking about messages from aliens or ascended masters, saying that they will reveal themselves fully at the right time to help us 'ascend' to a higher spiritual plane, evolve completely, and thus perfect ourselves. Some are saying that because we are made in the image of God, then all we have to do is realize this God-ness within ourselves, and then take this as our own to become God. They will help us attain this goal. They've already attained it, they say, but are coming back to help those that will remain afterward (they do acknowledge that something major will happen, where some will not be deemed worthy and will be removed before they reveal themselves).

Add to this the rise in apparitions of the Virgin Mary worldwide. My personal opinion is that this apparition is most likely a demon (I wonder sometimes if it's Lucifer himself). Don't get me wrong--I'm not impugning the real Mary, but I firmly believe that she is in Heaven and is not being sent with messages to Earth. God has angels for that, and then will have the two witnesses, the 144,000 and others to spread the messages that need to be sent out. I also say this based on what these apparitions are telling people. I cannot find the website now, but the messages are blasphemous, deny the sufficiency of the cross, and hint that this apparition is currently raising another man to be her 'son' and will soon stand up to lead mankind to true salvation. We'll be gone, so no one will be around who can stand up and point out what's really going on.

My point is, I think the delusion will be the same message it's always been (you, too, can be like God), but the demons will be allowed to manifest themselves directly to spread this message. They can appear as they wish, so will delude people into thinking that they are someone important, like Yeshua Himself (but as He appears in the Koran, as a prophet) or Mary, or maybe they'll start by saying that they are aliens. Maybe they'll do both. The apparitions and channeled messages from 'Mary' and the aliens are all saying pretty much the same thing.

I don't know how far they'll go, but my guess is that it will start out subtly and then get really blatant towards the middle, with all the stops pulled out in the last half. They will tell people things they want to hear (you, too, can ascend to a higher plane of spirituality and be like God or be a god). The messages will sound lovely, good, seductive. They will dangle things like, "You need to have the knowledge that this man [the False Prophet] or especially this man [the AntiChrist] have. They have attained so much knowledge by personal study and sacrifice. Are you worthy to attain this knowledge, too? The work to become worthy is hard, but you can do this if you only try! Oh, how we want to tell you these deepest secrets! *tear* We love you! Won't you try, for us?"

We're told that he AntiChrist will not honor the god of his fathers. Some people believe he will be a Muslim. If he really does arise from lands that were once in the Assyrian empire, then he might be Muslim, but maybe follows the Alawi faith (as are the al-Assads in Syria). Maybe he'll be Muslim, but his ancestors will have been followers of another religion. He may even be only Muslim nominally, but will eventually reveal that he isn't Muslim after all, but has had a new revelation via an angel (Lucifer). We don't know exactly, so this is additional speculation on my part.

Anyway. My point is, you can see the delusion being constructed now in the New Age ideology and practices. With us gone, they will have much freer reign and the delusion will arise more fully. And yes, we will be blamed. Not only blamed for the events in the prophecies coming on the horizon, but also for the start of the Tribulation shortly afterward.

Thank the Almighty, One and True Living God that He has planned for this and people will still come to the true Messiah, and do so in droves. May it be so, and maranatha!

People chuckle when they hear the Gideon bibles are being replaced in UK by a porn book, glorifying violence towards women, tellingly known as ,50 shades of grey,

A friend of mine read that book, TQ, and decided she wasn't happy in her marriage and asked for a divorce. After reading a BOOK she's willing to tear her family apart -- she has 3 small kids. I was stunned. And frankly, couldn't really respect her much after that. But that's *my* sin, and I've been dealing with that, while also trying to continue loving her through this and being there for her. My hope is she will come to Christ by example rather than by preaching that would be in vain at this point.

I pray for her every day and weep for her soul, I know she's lost, but she has no interest in Christ - she is polite about my beliefs, doesn't believe she has the right to say what anyone should believe in. Even God told me to let go of her and only focus on myself -- my own soul is the only one I can save for certain. If she stands or falls is her decision to make. She's one of the reasons why I use FB as a platform for Christ. I asked the Lord once why I'm so heartbroken for HER specifically and not my other lost friends. His reply - "She's the only one who hasn't heard the Gospel."

I know she lurks on my page from time to time. Whether she reads it and takes it to heart, I highly doubt it. But Oh Lord, help us! If people are divorcing over reading scenarios in an inappropriate fictional book, then the world is circling the drain...

Please pray for my friend. The Lord knows who she is.

Perhaps when the AC claims to be God, he will take responsibilty for getting rid of the Christians at the rapture and will label them as the evil doers and the ones holding up a spiritual breakthrough. If the AC takes credit for the rapture and claims he can do it again and make you disappear from the earth unless you take the mark, people will believe him. He will be one smooth talker. I just wonder during the trib after the rapture has obviously happened, if people will be looking to the skies and be afraid that they may "disappear" too. If it is painted as a horrible thing that happened, people will do anything to make sure it doesn't hapen to them.

Becka, I've always found that mystifying. Hell is not like the old cartoons depict; with Satan in charge and if you're on his side, it could be a party. This is not a choice between a good god and a bad god...they aren't peers. Hell was created to hold Satan, not so he could rule there.

I think all this "Har har, goin' where all my friends are..." has really messed people up with the big lie.

Based on modern history, we should no longer be ignorant of how mass media perceptions can be controlled and used to accomplish the aims of evil and tyrannical thought manipulators. There are two books I feel can help us, but they are not easy reading. However, they will increase your understanding of such phenomena in modern times.

The secular global media is providing the motivation, for hating Christians, especially evangelicals. The historical hatred of Jews is a lesson we should take away from Nazi Germany during the Holocaust. It should alert us that such things can happen, even to highly civilized and knowledgeable people.

These helpful books can be found on Amazon and purchased cheaply in used condition.
