Wow! you lot are nice! What a welcome...perhaps a very small taste of when we get up there! IF the big day IS trumpets, let's say 5th Sep - let's see...I make it about 83 days? (Gosh Psalm 83!). Think it could all hold together until then!?
I'll get to meet my sister up there then, I know she's got some hug-time stored up for me! Now does that make you smile or even cry?! We're so in store for glory up there! It's just making the humdrum of here quite hard to get through now! BUT, nice to know there are my extended family out there who feel the same.
Blessings to you all, and no David R, I'm not that seasoned lol! But sometimes it feels like! I don't think the motorised vehicles would be bad for normal everyday use anyway - what do you think!?

Thank you for the post. I love reading about the Jewish wedding and seeing it fulfilled in scripture. I don't think I ever really paid attention to this before "The shiddukhin starts with the father's selection of a bride for his beloved son. So too - were we selected by the Father to be His Beloved Son's loving precious bride - (Eph. 1:4"" This is so very exciting to me. The Father has been speaking this to me so very clearly lately. I just want to fall to my knees that the FATHER would choose me for his Son! Hi all...I've looked at the site for a few years now, and enjoy many of the posts. I've been serious since end of 2010 watching for rapture and never felt more like it is (or should be!) this year. I do feel an intensity just getting through each day at the moment, and looking at your comments, it seems that a lot of us feel the same way. My next watch date is trumpets in early Sep, but I am very open to going home prior to then of course! It just seems to all link with the Jewish wedding hence trumpets! Someone kindly sent me this link tonight strangely, as I was thinking of it today!

Ok if Cor 15:52 In the Twinkling of an eye at the last trump. If the Last Trump is indeed Rosh Hashannah then this year 2013 it will be September 5 and the 3rd Day (as there has always been something in this 3rd day) will be Sep 8.

September 8 - Conjunction of the Moon and Venus. The Moon will pass within about a half of a degree from the the planet Venus in the early evening sky. The thin crescent moon will be at magnitude -10.4 and Venus will be at magnitude -4.5. Look for both objects low in the western sky in the early evening. The pair will be visible in the evening sky for about 2 hours after sunset.

I've been attacked big time today. We have three cars; all of them are broken in one way or another. I have to make a trip to Chicago this morning, and my main vehicle that I would use has a broken alternator. I have to take a vehicle that I don't find reliable: it needs a new muffler, brakes and other maintenance things, but we can't afford to rent a car.

Anyway, please pray for traveling mercies for my friend and me, and pray that God be glorified no matter what.

Yes I definitely agree. I have noticed it here at RITAN & among
friends & family. the Powers and Principalities of the air
are frantically working to bring us down spiritually, mentally and
physically. I just went through 3 years of on going fiery trials in
my life, but all it did was bring me that much closer to my
Savior. Without Him I never would have made it, now there is
a little calm for awhile, but I am never complacent because
I never know what might happen next. I just know that
all trials are Fathered Filtered and to Trust in Him.

Bama this is why I was afraid to pray for Heidi without someones help. I have learned (the hard way) that you need to put on the whole armor of God BEFORE you pray against these things. My problem lately (praise the Lord) is I don't realize how mature I am in Christ until after I instinctively rebuke with full confidence and it is done. Then other times I will haphazardly say something or do something that opens a door for an attack. Do you remember when a bunch of us here (through the course of a month) were hearing doorbells and knocks on the door? Demonic, I found out the hard way! I shouldn't have! God doesn't freak us out or make us wonder if it's Him ..never duh! But I fell for it and had three days (atleast, wasn't counting) of horrible dreams.

my Rock is Christ I have been attacked in dreams as well not as much as I used to though... I am much stronger now. One was just after I had layed hands and prayed for my lost hubby while he was sleeping. Something was mad..but I'm still praying in Jesus name.

I have to disagree with Terry James's idea that the Rapture cannot happen after the destruction of Damascus.

He thinks the Rapture happens during a business-as-usual time. I don't have a problem with that.

However, consider the 2004 Indonesian tsunami or the 2011 Tohoku, Japan, earthquake and tsunami -- the most recent sudden-horror events that occur to me. While the rest of the world certainly spent days riveted in horror to media accounts of those tragedies, only a relatively small portion of the world was directly affected by either disaster. And when we weren't watching or reading or talking about those disasters, or contributing to disaster aid, our lives went on as usual. I went to work, browsed the usual websites, read new books, visited relatives, talked to friends, complained about the weather, planned the spring garden.

Damascus is already partly -- perhaps substantially -- in ruins. Much of the population has fled; I don't know what proportion of the former population is still in residence, but it's good to consider that the death toll, when it comes, is unlikely to be anywhere near as large as we used to fear. Even a no-advance-warning WMD attack might leave fewer fatalities than the Indonesian tsunami.

So why couldn't the Rapture happen a day, a week, a month, a year after the destruction of Damascus?

And Terry's citation of Matthew 24 as evidence doesn't hold water: that actually relates to the Second Coming, not the Rapture. Luke 17 puts the time of the Rapture and Tribulation events in the same sentence (which makes perfect sense from a first century perspective), and I see no reason for that to prevent the destruction of Damascus preceding the Rapture.

I pray that we are long gone prior to the destruction of Damascus. Whoever destroys the oldest city in the world will have to face Russia and the entire Middle East. Two areas that will unite all Arabs despite sectarian and religious differences: the destruction of a fellow Muslim brother in Damascus by Israel and an unilateral hatred for the Jewish nation.

Thanks David R. for remembering that thread... Yes, the Shulamite woman in Song of Solomon is facing Damascus while she is waiting for her bridegroom to come. I see this as an indication that we are to watch what is going on in Syria as an indication of the nearness of the rapture. I believe Damascus will not fall until after we are gone.

I also remember that in the 12 prophecies that Pastor Paul Begley gave for this year, one was that Isaiah 17 would be fulfilled THIS YEAR.

Oh - so sorry VC!! He did have damage to his truck, a little less than mine. The front passenger side is what hit my front driver's side/headlight and grill section. I notified the PD on his damage as well.

That is a great description. You are detail oriented. What I meant was, was his truck damaged? Usually these guys walk away with no problem. lol Your car needs repairs. I was guessing he pretty well just walked away unphased. Truck to car , he has the advantage, too.

I was under attack this morning. I don't want to say what happened [to follow the rules on dreams]. I was attacked in my sleep. I don't know if it makes any sence but it's like they're so evil I can "feel" their evilness and remember it after I wake up. The attack kept happening over and over again in that nightmare.

Because of rules that's all I should say. I also was attacked not too long back. I was praying and I could all of a sudden barely speak. I was scared. I asked our Father if it's a demon to have it get off my throat. Guess what? After that I could speak again. Praise God!

Thanking the Lord Jesus Christ for Watchman72's safety! Now my take on the destruction of Damascus. I believe and this is my personal opinion that we may escape the wrath that is going to take place. The only feasible way that Damascus will be destroyed will be nuclear weapons. But my question is who will destroy Damascus? Israel? A dirty bomb that prematurely goes off? Here comes another thread.
