i grew up about 20 mins from Newark, OH and have been to the serpent mound several times..even as a kid i never understood why these mounds and things were built that they only made sense from the air. I remember about 6th-7th grade learning in Ohio history that giant skeletons were found inside those mounds...i really wanted to see LA Marzulli last year- he came to Newark and did a Nephilim Mounds conference in about September..i heard he is planning for another one and i do not want to miss this one!

With all due respect to Patrick Heron, the Hebrew word Nephilim does NOT mean 'fallen ones'. That is what Zecharia Sitchin interprets this word to mean, because he has to fit these beings into his alien Annunaki/Planet X/Nibiru worldview. He describes them as those who 'came down' etc... because he wants them to be aliens from another planet. The word means 'giants' and we have other scripture in which the context is consistent with them being giants. The were the OFFSPRING of the sons of God (bene ha Elohim) in their marriage to human women.

Ask a respected Hebrew scholar like Dr Michael S. Heiser what Nephilim means, and he will show you why it can't mean 'fallen ones'. He even has a separate webpage http://www.sitchiniswrong.com that explains all the other errors Zecharia Sitchin put forward.

When I read Enoch it amazes me. I know it is not canon but it is for the Ethiopian church. It never contradicted scripture and spoke heavily of the Son of Man. It in no way resembles the Qur*n.

One more thing, I have heard answers like the one above, even if it is real I have too much to worry about aside from giants which has no effect on salvation. I agree with this, but at the same time we are told to watch for Jesus and the signs/times. If we are to watch shouldn't we know what to look for? Seems pretty important to me to know what the world is soon going to look like and be able to help our brothers and sisters see past the veil which media tries to put over our eyes. Also if we don't speak of this, how many people are going to fall away from Christ when a 20 ft man starts walking down main street and says that Aliens made him as well as us? If there was something unimportant in the Bible God wouldn't have put it there.

P.S. Great point about the book of enoch being sealed away until it way until it was relevent to the people.

Wether the book of Enoch is inspired by God or not is irrelevant in my mind. The point is that in our own bible which we have agreed to be of God, says that when Jesus comes back it will be like the days of Noah. Well what do we know about that time? Well the biggest thing in my mind is that there were GIANTS all over the place. I don't see a single giant around today, unless you count the NBA (hahaha,joke).
Now I realise that there are other things going on during that time but Jesus didn't say like the days of Noah except for the giants.

It was Richard Laurence in 1821 that published the first copy in English.. Then in 1912, the R.H. Charles edition was published

I read the Book of Enoch,it seems portions of it are true and other things were added...it does talk about the son of man returning with his saints...it details the 200 fallen angels and what they did to corrupt the world which explains why even after the flood later on Israel was instructed to destroy every man,woman and child in the promised Land.

It also mentions the place where the lake of fire is...which is beyond the universe in outer darkness where there's no sun/stars just as Jesus said.

the details are too many that u start drifting away...at this point you have to use discernment...it seems Enoch did indeed write a book but someone went in there and added things....some portions i just skipped.

the book of Giants was very interesting especially how God sent them dreams and visions of the coming flood which only Enoch could interpret which is consistent with say the book of Daniel.

Pure conjecture but it seems,we are not the pioneers of DNA manipulation...some of the ancient monsters that now seem mythical seem to have existed at one time...look up the chimera for example...very scary beast yet it seems creatures like these will be let loose from the bottomless pit in Revelation.

In any case,i don't think those of us that have truly put Christ in first place will be around to see this great Lie/Invasion.

Remember, Satan left with 1/3 of the Angels which is billions...question is,where are they? perhaps on another planet out there somewhere.Enoch says the 200 that messed things up here were chained up in darkness before the flood came till the day of Judgement.....but more must have come to try the same Idea after the flood which means they have a base out there but God isn't gonna touch it until the time of Man is complete/Christ returns to claim that which was stolen from us in the beginning.

It also explains why the space-time continuum /earth must all be destroyed and re-made New since they are now defiled by Satan and his cohorts.

Prophetic dreamer, from my understanding of the Nephilim, they are offspring from the angels who left their domain and had children with human women. But then, I wonder about all these UFOs people are seeing. Could it be that's how they will explain our disappearance? I know they are of demonic origin. Bonnie something happened 7-8 days ago, I had my first ever rapture dream, and since then I have seen UFO's and helicopters(20 in about an hour one night and 10-12 other nights) every night I have decided to stay out and watch. I truly believe something amazing(good or bad, who knows) will happen tomorrow. I recieved a feeling that the 16th was the day I would go on my journey and before I went I would ABSOLUTELY KNOW I was doing what God wanted me to do. Now it may be a personal experience, Idk. But it seems a LOT of people are having dreams and feelings about this as well.

Oh I know what you mean Shiloh. It's almost like they were trying to model it after the Bible, but something is a little "off." A red flag went up when I started learning about it. The Book of Enoch had too much of a strange lure to me. Like it's just tempting me to read it. The Bible is not like that. The Word feels safe and makes me feel closer to God. I think right now, the only angels that we need to wonder about, are the ones who protect us, and the ones who will take us up to meet Jesus.

I think these so called "nephilim" may be fallen angels kicked out of heaven when Satan was kicked out.

On the sermon on the mount Jesus was asked what would be the sign of his coming. I read wars and rumors of war, earthquakes in divers places, etc but no where do I read that the nephilim will return. The Lord is returning in a time where sin is rampant. A evil generation. Just as it were in the days of Noah. If the major sign is the nephilim would return then I believe he would have plainly said it. Signs in the sky we do have with sun eruptions, metorites , polar shifting, ozone ripped letting in solar winds, there is so much going on just as Jesus said they would be. I believe he would have named niphilim returning and said it plainly if that was a sign. I do this the UFO that are seen are demonic spirits.

The fact that they used to be proponents of the book of Enoch until further research was interesting. It's a good thing I didn't get past the beginning of chapter 7. Had to laugh when they said "don't waste your time" even past chapter 6 because it contradicts the Bible. Their proof was well presented too.

There seems to be two opposing side to the book of Enoch. Some people loved it and some people didn't like it at all. I can't really judge because I was thinking, "what's up with all the port holes?" My daughter and I were reading it online at the same time and she had the same question as I did. "Where are the deeper things of God in this?" Is it necessary?
I agree Lauren, it's not necessary for our salvation. What troubled me most was the way it was written. More of like a person living today trying to sound as if they were using biblical language as the prophets of old and their terms... or for example, an American attempting to put on a British accent and Brits truly know you're a fake...hard to explain. I'm not saying by any means it's fake and I know there are people on this forum that love the book. It just struck me as language that wouldn't be used back then and it hit my spirit funny (not ha ha) in some way..

I am wary of the Book of Enoch. I have read that it does not have the same flow the rest of the Bible is inherently known for much like how the Quran is put together. I think there was a reason that it was never included. Honestly, knowing about the fallen and the rest of the angels isn't really necessary for our salvation even if the book is valid. This is just what I have discerned from the Holy Spirit but I know that it's different for everyone. Anyway, I hope this week is our last week. Hope to see you in the air soon!

Shiloh, maybe God wanted the book of Enoch to be "sealed" until the latter days, knowing that it would be relevant for this day in time. I have read the whole book and it is really interesting. You should read it all the way through. It explains a lot. Also, the book of Jude talks about what Enoch said. So I guess Enoch really did write a book. Otherwise, how would Jude know? :)

Enoch was found worthy because he believed God. He had a family job, and ministered but his desire to know and be with God was so strong that God took him.
Daniel be YHWH, I'm going to watch the video you posted tonight. I started reading the Book of Enoch once and only got to about the 7th chapter. I saw a lot about angels but I didn't see a whole lot concerning God. Maybe that is further in the book, but it sounded more as if it were modern day writing but was trying to word things like did in the O.T.
I believe if God had intended it to be useful for our instruction, HE would have made sure it was included in HIS Word without fail.

i don't deny this, it's just i have more than enough on my plate on a daily basis, rebuking satan and fighting my own defects like self-pity or laziness or resentments, so many ways my flesh will oppose God's will in my life... while trying to be an agent of grace for Him. a force for good, not destruction. an encourager and comfort to others.

it's not that i don't believe in them. it's just that giants don't impact on my life in any way, so why should i go searching for them? would God want me to research this area? and if so, why?

Here is a question that I am concerned about. If our preachers,pastors,teachers supposedly speak from the Holy Spirit, why is it that 90% of them deny this sort of thing? Why is it that they always fall back on their own understanding of things and just write it off while still claiming the bible is the inspired word of God. Also why is the book of Enoch not a relevant part of our Bible when it says Enoch was found so righteous in Gods eyes that he didn't allow him to die. Seems like that is the person I would want to speak to second,right after Christ.

I agree with all three of you - part of the coming great deception could be alien (demonic) beings posing as "wise masters", guides to show humanity the way to "peace and security." Who knows if the AC will be hand-in-hand complicit, or even a nephilim type being himself. More and more, we're seeing the widespread acceptance of the entire UFO phenomenon; what I found fascinating in the book Exo Vaticana (by Thomas Horn and Cris Putnam) was that those at the highest level in the Vatican (like Jesuit priest, Guy Consolmagno) believe disclosure is imminent... the words they used, "They're coming", sent shivers up my spine.

I agree with everyone here. To be rooted and covered in Jesus when delving into this research is critical. They are satanic in every form of the word, but with God's wisdom, discernment, and protection, light can expose them. The reason I wanted to be more educated about this area was the fact that there wasn't real good christian information anywhere. People were being deceived and hurt, and christians completely avoided the subject as taboo. Being naturally curious I had many questions, not about who they really are, I know they were demonic, my questions were what were they up to at the present time, and what disguise were they using. I wanted to be prepared to explain and answer some of the tough questions with more real insight.

This is a great deception because unlike other straight satanic endeavors, these things have created themselves to be real in the physical world in real bodies of various forms and flying sometimes in real metallic ships which humans can touch. I truly believe this ties in with the grand deception. People say seeing is believing, well that's what satan's great deception will give them.

One other ministry which I think is very good is called Alien Resistance located in Florida (http://www.alienresistance.org/) headed by Joe Jordan. They are connected with with Guy Malone/Marzulli. Joe was a MUFON member and non-believer for many years, but through his experience he noticed one amazing trend with his research of alien abductees. Many people were saying when they called out to Jesus (even non-saved people) the alien abduction would stop and the aliens would be very upset or dissappear. Joe through his research eventually became a Christian. Lots of testimonies there from people delivered from the alien abduction phenomenon and sharing light on that experience.

Fits with a dream I had last year where I was in outer space viewing earth. I saw many clouds around the earth, then I started seeing many very large creatures going in and out of the clouds, almost like slithering. God said to me..."son these things you see were brought/allowed in by the humans of the earth". God's voice was gentle but with a feeling of woe (for the inhabitants of the earth)."

I researched UFOs/aliens for many years (not because I believed in them) I have a small library of related books documents for the research purposes. I started to see a pattern with almost every encounter; that they propagated humans, that Jesus was an ascended master (or alien), like Buddha, Mohammad, created or sent by them. They almost always interested in the humans fertility organs (nephilim). I believe there are factions in our world who have already bought the lie hook line and sinker (illuminati, Roman Catholic church, etc), and the atheistic scientific community, just about everyone willing to accept anything but the true God.

Yes, Nery, it is a huge mess, and I was feeling overwhelmed over all of it, even though my daughter and I have been in spiritual warfare prayer, I felt led to share with the group, to get a handle on this! I know our time of departure is s near and the heat is being turned up!

My daughters common-law husband has always been against the Lord and everything He is about . Recently He hit rock bottom and they split because of his ways and now restraining orders are involved and yada yada . with all of that set aside, he knew he needed to change all around and he decided he wanted to go to church , he came to my oldest daughter(his sister-in- law) last night,for help and advice! So she asked if he was ready to accept Christ, so he prayed the sinners prayer with her ,and stated he wanted to go to church today ...... WoW is all I have to say and praise God... but in the stir of their plans to go to church ,the attack of the enemy ensues! OK,. My daughter Had no other plans for the day except to go to church and to take my grandson to the movies to spend quality time , my grand sons father whom dis believes in the lord very strongly and hates everything that represents him, calls her out of the blue and asks how the weather is going to be for the day and decides hes going to take my grandson to race his go cart. Mind you he only races on Fridays . My daughter was getting ready for church when he calls( mind you she don't go to church, she has home church) , anyhow he sais he is leaving to go at 1:00PM . which was fine because church would be over by noon . She is in church not even 15 minutes and he shows up at my house asking me where she is and when he was told where she was ,he was indignant ,and began cursing her and church! She told me that he rang her phone the whole time she was in church . She thought something was wrong, so she interrupted service and went outside to call home . It wasn't soo pleasant when she talked to him , him saying that this church stuff has to go , she a hypocrite , she's going in the dirt like everyone else yada yada !! He had no care in the world that he was being extremely rude and disrespectful to her ,and as she is sitting there in church so grateful that she was used to help someone accept the lord and get into the ark before its too late . So needless to say, when someone is being saved the devil works soo hard and has a huge hissy fit and tries doing everything in his power to sabatoge and discourage! .
Now here is where the prayer is needed, his relationship to my younger daughter and granddaughter. She wants to jump ship and go with this other guy, and not be patient and let the lord do his works , after all these years of prayers and they are now being answerd she is kinda bailing out and just more worried about this other guy and stirring away from her faith . Nothing else matters to her except her emotional state of mind , and this life here on earth wich is also putting a toll on my 2 year old granddaughter. She also having her be around this total stranger when she is already confused on whats going on with her parents .I thought she would be ecstatic and overjoyed at his conversion, but instead feels like we are betraying her in helping him. I certainly feel joyed at his conversion, it is miraculous!!!! Any and all prayers for their situation will be gratefully appreciated !!
