CPorter73 & YHWH talmidah ~~~ Yes there is help for those that have had this done to them. Our ministry has seen Jesus heal many people that have gone through this type of abuse. Once you begin to hear the stories unfold (and this can take months because of a lot of it they don't remember until the Lord reveals it) it seems so unreal that most of the mainstream churches just don't know what to do or a lot of times don't even believe those that have gone through this. Then they send them to ministries like ours. These cases are identified and documented through the professional community but they cannot help them, except put them on drugs to ease their pain. We find that most of the abuse stems from being involved with Masonic groups.
Sometimes the people have no idea how they find our church and then I'm reminded every time of what the Lord promises us in `Matthew 7:7
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.`
Once they give their life to Christ the miracles that are done in their lives is undeniable. God will always be greater than any evil or ugliness the devil can dish out..

I agree history no longer applies to the market. We are in uncharted territory. Japans lapse in the market last night was compared to Lehmans lapse of 2008. I personally believe that we will see a "HUGE" market reduction this summer. Corporate earnings will only get worse. I think we have reached the peak in the market and will start to go down to the other side. I think we will see market corrections back down to 10,000 to 11,000.

Brings up a good point... Should we as Christians stock up on supplies, food and ammo... In case of collapse or emp or solar flare ,each would entirely destroy society and our way of life. Or is it considered a sin to store up treasures and abundance for ourselves. As mentioned in the bible.

It seems that for every bit of abundance you have, is that much faith you don't have in Christ. Yet I myself have amount a months worth of stocked food... Just in case. I'm always conflicted about this.

All in all we remember that the Lord ultimately has His finger on the switch! It'll all go down when He says so.

We've got about 4 weeks extra groceries which we normally try to keep on hand. But when the poop hits the fan and if we're still around and neighbors are panicking, I think we'd all be helping them out with sharing what we have. How would that be for a time of witnessing?!

One of the prophecies that I think receives less attention is the coming seals. And the biggest unnoticed seal I think is the coming global drought that is devastating food production. Whether you track the heat or snow cycles over the last 5 years the heat and drought index has gone wild. Russia and Alaska had their greatest snow records on recorded history this year. Over the last 5 years Russia has had to import wheat. Egypt has almost entirely had to depend on food imports. If you live anywhere in the breadbasket you know that the last 5 years have been devastating for crops. Last year the Mississippi river was the lowest it has ever been. I dont think that this summer will be any different. I think we will see drought would wide and food shortages will continue which will increase food shortages world wide as we get closer to the tribulation period. Food prices here in the state will only become more expensive and if you have noticed food portions has become smaller. I think the seals are coming soon.

HASKELL COUNTY, Kan. — Forty-nine years ago, Ashley Yost’s grandfather sank a well deep into a half-mile square of rich Kansas farmland. He struck an artery of water so prodigious that he could pump 1,600 gallons to the surface every minute.

Last year, Mr. Yost was coaxing just 300 gallons from the earth, and pumping up sand in order to do it. By harvest time, the grit had robbed him of $20,000 worth of pumps and any hope of returning to the bumper harvests of years past.

“That’s prime land,” he said not long ago, gesturing from his pickup at the stubby remains of last year’s crop. “I’ve raised 294 bushels of corn an acre there before, with water and the Lord’s help.” Now, he said, “it’s over.”

The land, known as Section 35, sits atop the High Plains Aquifer, a waterlogged jumble of sand, clay and gravel that begins beneath Wyoming and South Dakota and stretches clear to the Texas Panhandle. The aquifer’s northern reaches still hold enough water in many places to last hundreds of years. But as one heads south, it is increasingly tapped out, drained by ever more intensive farming and, lately, by drought.

Vast stretches of Texas farmland lying over the aquifer no longer support irrigation. In west-central Kansas, up to a fifth of the irrigated farmland along a 100-mile swath of the aquifer has already gone dry. In many other places, there no longer is enough water to supply farmers’ peak needs during Kansas’ scorching summers.

And when the groundwater runs out, it is gone for good. Refilling the aquifer would require hundreds, if not thousands, of years of rains.

This is in many ways a slow-motion crisis — decades in the making, imminent for some, years or decades away for others, hitting one farm but leaving an adjacent one untouched. But across the rolling plains and tarmac-flat farmland near the Kansas-Colorado border, the effects of depletion are evident everywhere. Highway bridges span arid stream beds. Most of the creeks and rivers that once veined the land have dried up as 60 years of pumping have pulled groundwater levels down by scores and even hundreds of feet.

On some farms, big center-pivot irrigators — the spindly rigs that create the emerald circles of cropland familiar to anyone flying over the region — now are watering only a half-circle. On others, they sit idle altogether.

Two years of extreme drought, during which farmers relied almost completely on groundwater, have brought the seriousness of the problem home. In 2011 and 2012, the Kansas Geological Survey reports, the average water level in the state’s portion of the aquifer dropped 4.25 feet — nearly a third of the total decline since 1996.

And that is merely the average. “I know my staff went out and re-measured a couple of wells because they couldn’t believe it,” said Lane Letourneau, a manager at the State Agriculture Department’s water resources division. “There was a 30-foot decline.”

Kansas agriculture will survive the slow draining of the aquifer — even now, less than a fifth of the state’s farmland is irrigated in any given year — but the economic impact nevertheless will be outsized. In the last federal agriculture census of Kansas, in 2007, an average acre of irrigated land produced nearly twice as many bushels of corn, two-thirds more soybeans and three-fifths more wheat than did dry land.

Farmers will take a hit as well. Raising crops without irrigation is far cheaper, but yields are far lower. Drought is a constant threat: the last two dry-land harvests were all but wiped out by poor rains.

In the end, most farmers will adapt to farming without water, said Bill Golden, an agriculture economist at Kansas State University. “The revenue losses are there,” he said. “But they’re not as tremendously significant as one might think.”

Some already are. A few miles west of Mr. Yost’s farm, Nathan Kells cut back on irrigation when his wells began faltering in the last decade, and shifted his focus to raising dairy heifers — 9,000 on that farm, and thousands more elsewhere. At about 12 gallons a day for a single cow, Mr. Kells can sustain his herd with less water than it takes to grow a single circle of corn.

So to your question, If the Lord tarries too long, I would have to think that a premature collapse is a possibility and a concern that they have.

A dear friend posed this question to me, and it really made me think. We know evil acts are always sinful, but is all sin considered evil? If a 3 year old steals a piece of candy from the grocery store, that would be considered sin, but is it evil?

The Bible tells us we are all sinners, but does He call all of us evil? He has plenty to say about evil, but is evil a select group of super-sinners, or are all sinners evil?

Looking forward to your thoughts on this.

I too have suffered much abuse and it has caused great struggles in my life, but that is where God's grace and love pour in... Our Lord and Savior mourns and weeps over you for the sin of other's and the damage it has caused, but darling one, He can and will heal your heart. I understand triggers. But I encourage you to pray over each trigger that God will bury it at the foot of the cross and replace it with joy in your life. YOU ARE NEVER ALONE DEAR BELOVED CHILD OF OUR HEAVENLY KING!! No, you are never alone. Jesus is holding you even now. Pour out the pain and vitriol to Him in prayers and ask Him to take it and not ever let you take it back!

TIBERIAS, Israel (AP) — The massive circular structure appears to be an archaeologists dream: a recently discovered antiquity that could reveal secrets of ancient life in the Middle East and is just waiting to be excavated.

It's thousands of years old — a conical, manmade behemoth weighing hundreds of tons, practically begging to be explored.

The problem is — it's at the bottom of the biblical Sea of Galilee. For now, at least, Israeli researchers are left stranded on dry land, wondering what finds lurk below.

The monumental structure, made of boulders and stones with a diameter of 70 meters (230 feet), emerged from a routine sonar scan in 2003. Now archaeologists are trying to raise money to allow them access to the submerged stones.

"It's very enigmatic, it's very interesting, but the bottom line is we don't know when it's from, we don't know what it's connected to, we don't know its function," said Dani Nadel, an archaeologist at the University of Haifa who is one of several researchers studying the discovery. "We only know it is there, it is huge and it is unusual."

Archaeologists said the only way they can properly assess the structure is through an underwater excavation, a painstakingly slow process that can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. And if an excavation were to take place, archaeologists said they believed it would be the first in the Sea of Galilee, an ancient lake that boasts historical remnants spanning thousands of years and is the setting of many Bible scenes.

In contrast, Israeli researchers have carried out many excavations in the Mediterranean and Red Seas.

Much of the researchers' limited knowledge about this structure comes from the sonar scan a decade ago.

Initial dives shortly after that revealed a few details. In an article in the International Journal of Nautical Archaeology published earlier this year, Nadel and fellow researchers disclosed it was asymmetrical, made of basalt boulders and that "fish teem around the structure and between its blocks."

The cone-shaped structure is found at a depth of between three and 12 meters (nine and 40 feet) beneath the surface, about half a kilometer (1,600 feet) from the sea's southwestern shore. Its base is buried under sediment.

The authors conclude the structure is man-made, made of stones that originated nearby, and it weighs about 60,000 tons. The authors write it "is indicative of a complex, well-organized society, with planning skills and economic ability."

The rest is a mystery.

Yitzhak Paz, an archaeologist with the Israel Antiquities Authority who is involved in the project, said that based on sediment buildup, it is between 2,000 and 12,000 years old, a vast range that tells little about it. Based on other sites and artifacts found in the region, Paz places the site's origin some time during the 3rd millennium B.C., or about 5,000 years ago, although he admits the timeframe is just a guess.

"The period is hard for us to determine. No scientific work was carried out there, no excavations, no surveys. We have no artifacts from the structure," Paz said.

Archaeologists were also cautious about guessing the structure's purpose. They said possibilities include a burial site, a place of worship or even a fish nursery, which were common in the area, but they said they wanted to avoid speculation because they have so little information.

It's not even clear if the structure was built on shore when the sea stood at a low level, or if it was constructed underwater. Paz reckons it was built on land, an indication of the sea's low level at the time.

In order to fill in the blanks, archaeologists hope to inspect the site underwater, despite the expense and the complexities.

Nadel noted that working underwater demands not only a skill such as scuba diving, but also labor-intensive excavations that are particularly difficult in the Sea of Galilee, which already has low visibility and where any digging can unleash a cloud of sediment and bury what's just been uncovered.

Also, divers can remain under water only for a limited amount of time every day and must choose the best season that can provide optimal conditions for excavating.

"Until we do more research, we don't have much more to add," Nadel said. "It's a mystery, and every mystery is interesting."

The path the country in on is unsubstainable. I stock 2-3 weeks of supplies for emergencies and ammo to protect my love ones during a crisis. I do it to be a good steward, I am a sheepdog. Every breath I get is from my Lord Jesus Christ and everything depends on Him. He will rapture us before things gets too bad or He will guide my hand and heart when the time comes. Even though I am familiar with a lot of the scripture verses, I am seeing them with new eyes and learning a deeper meaning. I like the fact that there are multiple scriptures used and the explanations that correlate with each verse are written in a few short sentences that are easy to follow .

Perhaps today, I'm thinking the rate limiting factor for the QE program is inflation. As long as inflation stays under control, the scheme can go on. The thing is, the dollars being printed are causing inflation...inflation of the stock market. If all of those dollars printed were to hit the streets of commerce, I would have to think we would have extreme inflation. So again, if they can keep the inflation quarantined to the stock market, it actually makes them very very very rich.

The only Dollars being printed that are hitting the streets of commerce are the ones the Fed uses to buy US treasuries...where the Government spends money on salaries and what not. Outside of that, it just pumps up the market.

To add, the Fed, through the futures market, has a huge short position on Gold. They are trying to push money out of Gold and into the stock market.....for more inflation of stocks. If I were investing right now, I would totally be short the market and long gold....but that would have to be a multi year outlook.

My mulit year outlook is not on earth. I choose to store my treasures in Heaven and not in the markets;-)

Hi, KD. It's perfectly normal to have dreams that reflect things our brains are processing, even if we don't agree with what we're dreaming. It isn't "brainwashing" from something outside ourselves.

You might call it "brainwashing" if you think of all the ideas we have during the day being tossed into a mental washing machine and getting churned around at night. The mind looks for a way to make sense of those bits and pieces and tries to create stories from them.

I'd say it's likely that all the talk about gun control and gun violence struck some chord in the back of your mind, and you just had a bad dream about it.

I know I've had plenty of dreams in which I found myself saying or doing something contrary to my beliefs.

Besides, you will only go there if you want to go there, and if you don’t want to, you go to the other place. The place the pope didn’t mention, but the one Jesus mentioned more than He spoke of Heaven—Hell.

I have known people who have sat in evangelical churches for decades before finally figuring out they need a personal relationship with Yeshua. I have also know people who deeply love Him and have accepted His offer of redemption, but then become so enamored of Hebrew Roots that they start thinking everyone needs to live according to the law, then despair because their loved ones aren't living a Holy life at the moment.

Truly, only the Lord knows the condition of our heart. Or at the least we don't. I always wondered if our spirits were already shiny in the spiritual kingdom and all the angels, fallen or not, already see our eternal status. I imagine if this is so, the adversary is having a relatively enjoyable time these days with all the church going zombies.

It never hurts to pray for the Lord to draw your friends closer to His heart. You know He'd be in agreement with that. Or perhaps pray that they would get a hunger for His Word. Although that might be repeating myself.

Luckily our salvation does not involve a doctrine test. But if the Bema seat is a reward ceremony for what we do at His leading rather than our own, it doesn't seem to bode well if we think even our very salvation is based on our own work. Just doesn't seem like very fertile soil for eternal crops.

About your question, I think we have varying opinions on this board about stocking up for different things. My feeling is that do what you feel the Lord is leading you to do.

I for one do stock up for various reasons. We live in an area of the country that gets bad storms. There have been several times in the last few years where we haven't been able to get into town for a 10 day period, so it's important that we keep some extra on hand. Other reasons are for in case of job loss or ill health interrupting work. Even for our neighbors in case they were in need. Then there is that feeling that whatever we don't need or use, and the rapture happens, there would be something here for friends and neighbors that might help tide them over for a short time... I always tell folks that not long ago, our parents and grandparents, especially if they lived rural, always had stocked pantries. They farmed, and canned all summer long, and put things away for the winter or tough times. It was a common practice.

Today people are used to shopping weekly, or even daily on their way home from work.. They have lost the skill set to be a bit independent. Many don't even know how to cook from scratch, let alone canning or growing their own food. I also look at stocking up as being a good steward of our money. Things I bought and put by last year, cost a lot less than they do this year, etc... The money I saved can be used for other things.. such as supporting RitaN or other ministries, or missionaries.

Anyway, that's my personal take on this topic. I don't see anything wrong with being a good steward. That doesn't mean that I don't depend on the Lord. As I mentioned, just a generation or 2 ago, it was common practice to be prepared for emergencies, and also just as a way of life. Pray about it, and let the Holy Spirit guide you in what you should do.

I will say though, that if you want to stock up a bit, that you buy and store what you eat, and eat what you buy. ( for the most part) If you don't eat beans and rice now, or your family doesn't like certain foods, they won't like it if it was an emergency situation either, or when using it as part of your food rotation. :) Speaking of... Make sure to rotate through your perishable supplies, and replace them as you use them. No sense buying things that will get over looked and spoil, or just not eaten because no one likes them.
