While a lot of people say that you can’t trust NASA or the government because they would certainly hide this 2012 stuff from us, I say there are a lot of people who want to spread this because they make money out of it. What is 2012 about?

The year 2012 is referring to the last year of the Long Count Maya calendar. The current Great Cycle, as the Mayas call it, is set to end on the winter solstice of 2012: December 21 2012 and many people believe that on that date, the world will change and never be the same. Some predict terrible events resulting in the destruction of our world and some predict that it won’t necessarily end, but that we will enter a new era and massive changes will occur.

This article will try to answer most questions you may have in a rational way. because there are way too many websites creating some sort of fear propaganda around 2012 and as you will see, you have nothing to be scared of.

Shahrukh Khan Rocks New Look for 'Don 2'

Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra took off to Malaysia to shoot some more scenes for their upcoming box-office smash Don 2 - The Chase Continues the other day and now we finally get to see SRK's new look!

The star-studded team worked in Berlin for a few weeks late last year and fans have been following the cast through their tweets and pics. The Don himself, Shahrukh Khan, arrived on the set in Berlin and was soon joined by his co-stars Priyanka Chopra, Kunal Kapoor, Boman Irani and Lara Dutta.
Don 2 stars Shahrukh Khan as Don, nothing new there, Priyanka Chopra as Roma, Boman Irani as Vardhaan and Om Puri as Mallik. Arjun Rampal however won't be part of the new production and took to Twitter to announce the news. "Hey Guys, Yes it is true won't be part of Don 2. Wish the team all the success I am sure it will be a super film," he said.
Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, and directed by Farhan Akhtar, Don 2 is the sequel of the 2006 box-office hit Don: The Chase Begins Again, which in turn is a remake of the 1978 classic Don. Shahrukh Khan: Will 2011 be the King Khan’s year?

The competition is mostly between Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan for the crown of the biggest B-town actor. While Salman shall be coming up with 'Ready' and 'Bodyguard' and Aamir with a Reema Kagti suspense film, the Bollywood Badshah aka Shahrukh Khan has two films lined up for a 2011 release.

Shahrukh's last big release was way back in the early 2010 in the form of Karan Johar's 'My Name is Khan' that brought him quite a few trophies for the Best Actor.

SRK shall be dishing out two of his most awaited releases this year- 'Ra.one' and 'Don 2'. 'Ra.One' is in the news for quite a few months and though not much is known about the film's basic plot, what is known is that SRK shall be seen in the avatar of a superhero in this flick. He shall have some superhuman powers including that of solidifying electricity. Kareena Kapoor is the female lead of the film but it is clear that it belongs mostly to SRK.

'Don 2' is currently in the pipeline with the shooting going in Malaysia. Since the directorial reins are in the hands of the deft Farhan Akhtar we can be assured of the quality of this action caper. Those who have watched 2006's 'Don' and loved Shahrukh reprising Amitabh Bachchan's classic character can look forward to the end of this year for a promising sequel.

In short, Shahrukh is all set to rock this year. After a long hibernation, 2011 shall be pretty good for his fans and devotees.

Mehjabeen Erum Alim, of
Bangladesh, kept a patient vigil and
spent a whopping 10,000 ringgit
(about $3,300) over two days to
meet Bollywood star Shah Rukh
Khan along with some other fans in
Malacca.
She did realise her dream -- but the
actor only smiled, gave autographs,
posed for photographs and left,
blowing flying kisses. Mehjabeen
was told that he does not speak
before shooting to stay within the
character he is playing.
Khan, who is on a month's schedule
to shoot a sequel to his earlier
blockbuster "Don", saw the news of
Mehjabeen spending big money on
her vigil in The Star.
"Fortunately, he spotted us just as
he was about to get into the car
and agreed to sign autographs,"
Mehjabeen said, adding that she
managed to draw his attention to
the story in the daily about her
wish to meet him. Khan
autographed the news article for
her.
"It is an indescribable feeling and I
am so happy to have finally met
him. I feel like I am in dreamland,"
Mehjabeen said after meeting Khan
Wednesday at a resort in Ayer
Keroh town.
Khan met her and seven other fans
at the resort just as he was about
to enter his car to go to the film
location for his latest movie "Don
2".
Mehjabeen, 27, is happy, but not
satisfied. She said she would still
love to meet him again just to hear
his voice.
"It was just a fleeting moment and
he didn't say a word but merely
nodded and gestured to us as he
rarely speaks before filming so as
not to come out of the character he
is playing," Mehjabeen, pursuing
her masters in business
administration in Kuala Lumpur,
said.
Besides taking home memories of
the meeting with Khan, she said
she was glad to have made new
friends who shared a similar
passion for the Bollywood
heartthrob.
Immensely popular in Malaysia,
Khan was conferred the title of
Datuk, akin to knighthood, by the
Sultan of Malacca in 2009.
