Inauguration and Orientation of Post Graduate Programmes

The formal function of inauguration and orientation of the Post Graduate courses that is, MTech and MCA was held at auditorium on 10-10-2011 at 10.30 am. The function witnessed dignitaries like Principal of secondary higher education board, Karnataka , Principal, R V College of Engineering and others.
The function initiated with prayer and introductory speech. The Principle introduced RV College of Engineering as of now and its visions and how they are working towards their vision. They also mention the target of getting listed in the top 100 global engineering colleges in the upcoming years. The grant for autonomous PG courses was one the base step towards achieving the target and the function disclosed the autonomy grant for PG courses at RVCE. The function emphasized the need for research by PG students in order to improve the knowledge base so that they are inevitably accepted by industry and research institutions.
The function ended with delicious meals at cauvery hostel mess.
