R. Kelly To Release ‘Write Me Back’ In June

R. Kelly fans, get excited. The Pied-Piper revealed he will release his 11th studio album,“Write Me Back,” on June 26.

“Write Me Back” is the first album to be released after Kelly’s throat surgery last year. The album, which features lead single “Share My Love” and “Feelin’ Single,” will be released in standard and deluxe editions. Pre-sale begins on May 29.

“Write Me Back” is the follow-up to Kelly’s 2010 release, “Love Letter.” Sources say Kelly created sounds that are similar to the likes of Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, and Marvin Gaye on this album.

Under-rated R&B singer Tamia is gearing for her comeback album. In March, the singer released her new single “Beautiful Surprise” produced by Salaam Remi and written by Tamia and Claude Kelly. She recently filmed the music video to her new single and gave her fans a behind-the-scenes peek of the video.

Tamia’s upcoming untitled album is set for a June release. However, we assume that she will push back the release because there hasn’t been much promo for it. That would at least be the smart thing to do. Anyway, watch the footage below.

Yesterday, Mindless Behavior made a special announcement on BET’s “106 & Park.” They announced that they will be kicking off ”The #1 Girl Tour” this summer with special guests Jacob Latimore, Lil Twist, and Kayla Brianna. The tour will start on July 5 in Richmond, VA and will run until August 18.Tickets go on sale beginning on May 18 and May 19.

A couple months ago, Q. Parker released a few behind-the-scenes photos of his debut video “Show You How” which was filmed in Brooklyn. Yesterday, the R&B veteran premiered the visual on BET’s 106 & Park. The video features cameos from Olivia, Willie Taylor (Day26), and Pam (Total).

“Show You How” is the lead single from Parker’s forthcoming debut album “The MANual” due in stores later this year.
