Wearing your heart on your sleeve , literally can be very tricky. You don't want to look too child like or silly so you need to find chic ways to pull off this look. I recently came across Max Studio's Spring 2013 line and I'm loving some looks, especially their heart prints. Like I said I have seen some heart print pieces that come across so childish that I always just shied away from the print, but during fashion week a bevy of designers have incorporated the heart print into their lines for Fall 2013, so it's no surprise that Max Studio has given their take for their Spring 2013 line.

There's no need to wait for the fall for this cute trend. Check out Max Studio's heart-printed Jacquard Trousers and Jacquard Shorts. The cut is very flattering for all body types and both styles are sure to be a hit for this Spring. While on Max Studio's website I also checked out their sale page and found some great pieces for next Fall and Winter. During this time its perfect to shop for the next season because you can find some great sales. Printed Pant!

First off I want to say sorry for being missing in action, but between my birthday and being sick I just didn't have time to post, but I promise to post more blogs and finally launch my YouTube channel. Stay tuned for my spring fashion haul this weekend and a blog about my birthday outfit details .The Printed Pant is a big trend and must have for the spring and I'm loving every bit of it. Now this trend really isn't for everyone because you really have to be daring to wear a pant with a print on it. I am tall and have legs for days so anything drawing the eye to my bottom half is good,lol. I will say you do have to be careful with prints because it can make you look bottom heavy, so definitely try it on before buying.If you want to create the illusion that you are longer and slimmer try choosing a print that runs vertical as opposed to horizontal . If you are short opt for a smaller print rather than a larger print which can just be too much and cause you to look frumpy. There are so many prints to choose from...flower, jacquard, and animal printed pants, you can't go wrong and will be sure to turn heads. So go be daring for Spring 2013.

Hi my loves, here is a quick post on one of my new obsessions for the spring. 2013 is proving to be the year of the ankle strap heel. Fashionistas including myself have found themselves stir crazy over this style, It is simple in design, yet they manage to make a statement, with anything you wear. I smell Spring in the air with Prabal Gurung's new collection for Target and I'm loving every bit of it. Inspired by love and right in time for Valentines day, I am truly in love with this line. It's one of the most anticipated collaborations since the Missoni launch, and I wanted to give my preview of my favorite pieces from the line. I'm usually not a flower print type of girl but the bright hues just grabbed my eye and I couldn't keep away. The colors of this collection are the most standout feature and will have anyone turning heads when walking in a room. My most coveted piece from the line is the blazer with the brightly colored floral print who could resist and of course was my must have for Spring. I however was disappointed with the accessories, which was a little upsetting for me:(

Zoe Saldana stepped out wearing the sweat shirt from the line, days before it was made available to the public; further proving this is one fun collaboration worth waiting in line for. Lucky for me I was first on line at my Target, so I was able to pick up everything I wanted.

Since going on sale this morning most of the coveted pieces sold out online quickly and in stores as well. The most expensive piece is a leather jacket at $199, but most of the items range from $26-$50.The floral blazer and floral short combo went quickly online as well as the floral print dress and sweatshirt. The shoes from the line are super amazing, and must haves. There are still some styles left online and you can check on target.com to see if your store has what you're looking for before you head out like I did, but do it soon before it's gone to the crazed fashionistas. The Grammys are here and what better way to end my day of shopping by going over who my best dressed picks are. So this year the Grammy Awards have allegedly been issued with a wardrobe advisory in an attempt to reduce the number of inappropriate outfits. According to online reports, the warning was circulated by US television network CBS.

The policy states that all talent appearing on camera should ensure that "buttocks and breasts are adequately covered" and to be aware that "thong-type costumes are problematic". It continues to detail that sheer and see-through clothing should be avoided, as should exposure of the "bare fleshy under curves of the buttock" or the "under curvature of the breasts". Do you think anyone broke the rules, ummmm Kelly Rowland, but boy didnt she look fierce doing it. Jennifer Lopez who many feel sparked the new rules from her past dress picks put her leg on full display with a slit cut all the way to her hip! Her black Anthony Vaccarello dress was perfection. JLO definately knows how to be the center of attention and that sexy split definately had the men in the audience going gaga. Taylor Swift looked amazing in a white J. Mendel gown which I usually dont like her choices, she has really been dressing sexier this year and I love the more sexy glam looks Im seeing on her. Rihanna was another favorite of mine, the singer wore a custom Azzedine Alaia, Neil LAne Jewlery and Manolo Blahniks. Last my favorite was Katy Perry, holy boobies, she looked hot in her Gucci dress, she was quoted in saying she was inspired by Priscilla Presley and boy did she hit her mark, loved it. Hi Dolls!! Valentines day is in a couple of weeks, so I figured some of you ladies might be toying with what to wear for that special day. Here are some outfits choices i would choose depending on the type of date I was going on. Outfit 1, would be for my single ladies who are opting for a night with some friends, its sexy and casual at the same time. This look is definitely for that daring girl. So my new obsession right now is Camouflage. I have been on the hunt for pants that fit me perfect and might have to stop at Zaras to see if they still have some styles in stock. I received an awesome camo jacket for xmas that I have yet to wear but plan on wearing this weekend, so stay tuned for a picture on my instagram, be sure to follow @ravenfashion. Here are some ways you can wear camo. Are you guys as obsessed as I am?! This print is definitely a print you can rock glam or a casual look, but either way wear it with confidence .Don't be afraid to wear it in different forms. You can wear a cute camo beanie or some camo shoes. Valentino has a fab pair of sequins/studded pumps (shown above). First looks i s very casual which I love a bumming outfit, but no one said you cant be fashionable and a bum , right?! lol
Second look is for a night out with the girls or a cute dinner date, don't be afraid to throw in a nice statement necklace and a touch of color with your purse. I would wear a hot pink clutch with this outfit
Last look I would wear to work, yup I said work, My job has casual Friday so this would be perfect for a Friday and you are all set for happy hour;)

Like I said previously I recently got a camo jacket, so this is the type of look I would go for when wearing it or even a dress with knee socks and riding boots. I love this look because you can dress it up or down by changing your footwear.

My Bachelorette Parties

PEACE OUT SINGLE LIFE!!

Hi Ladies & Gents,

I figured since I shared my honeymoon with you I can also share my Bachelorette parties with you, and yes I did say parties because I had two. You're probably wondering why I had two parties, well a lot of bridesmaids per work and just finances couldn't afford to go to Vegas and I always said I wanted to go to Vegas for my bachelorette, hence why I had two. We had my first Bachelorette party in Ocean City Maryland which i was so happy about because I love Ocean City. Both parties were totally different, but I had a blast on both trips.

I'll start off with my Maryland trip. My Bridesmaid picked a awesome house for the weekend. We drove in two cars and of course the start of the trip was with a blowup penis which by the way I am so not about the wearing of anything Penis out or a tacky veil with glow in the dark penuses. I told my friends that if they were to get me anything to wear ill wear it in the house but not in public, that's just not me. I also made it clear that they didn't get a stripper, it would be a waste of money because once again that's just not me. I know when the time comes my best friend will surely want a stripper and I will be happy to oblige because that's all her,lol, but for me personally I rather enjoy a night out with the girls.

So what did we do?! What didn't we do but have a great time, we hit up local spots and rented a cabana at a local pool party, lets just say we had so much fun that day that we end up not going out that night,lol. It was so perfect and couldn't have ask for a better weekend.

So now lets talk about Vegas!!!! I always said I wanted to go to Vegas for my Bachelorette so a couple of girls I know said they would come and also old friends so it was perfect. I had such an amazing time, and so happy I went. We were definitely rock stars every where we went. I knew I wanted to bring my Havefaith little cute bridal outfit with me and I'm so glad I did. I was very shocked that not one bride had the same thing on., it was such a big hit with everyone. My girls and I were the only ones to take pictures on the blue carpet for Jlo's appearance at Wet Republic so that was cool. We also went and saw PeepShow, through out the whole show we kept saying Holly Madison was pregnant and it wasn't confirmed till 3 weeks after we got back home so I guess we were right,lol. We went to a lot of pool parties, you know you are having a fab time if you dunk your own phone in the water,lol. Yes I did that, and yes I tried the rice trick, all I was concerned about was my pictures which I saved:) the phone wasn't lol. Overall the weekend was fab and I actually gained a new amazing friend ( Kelly).

My Honeymoon

Hi Ladies and Gents,

I hope all of you are enjoying your week thus far. This post is going to be a big one because its about my Honeymoon:).

I definitely wanted to share with all of you what my key essentials are for vacations, how I pack and obviously my outfit details for each night.

I also will tell you guys about the resort and what we did for fun.

PACKING

So I am the Queen of packing . I travel for my job so I learned over the past five years what I can bring in a carry-on and how to fit everything I need into one luggage. So what exactly is my trick? Well first once I know I'm going on vacation, I usually start shopping little by little so I am not going broke at once to have a fab vacation wardrobe. Once I have my wardrobe I usually have a fashion show and I'm usually the model,host and audience,lol. I lay out everything and go to town with my accessories, shoes, coverups and bathing suits . I usually take pictures and make and album in my phone so I know what I have. I tried to stay in the same color categories, so I don't have to bring a lot of shoes and the same for my purses. Once I know what I'm taking, I have learned that rolling your clothing saves room in your luggage. I also started putting my bathing suits in a ziplock bag, a trick I use to tease my girlfriend for doing. When traveling with my husband I usually have him bring a carry-on of just my shoes and my carry-on usually has my accessories like sunglasses, jewelry, hats, purses and scarves. I also pack one bathing suit and outfit in my carry-on just in case my luggage gets lost, knock on wood that has never happened, but always have to be prepared.

Sunhats are a must! They're cute and stylish and help block the sun when reading.
Magazines, ipod and a book of choice.
Sunglasses! I always brings at least three options to match my bathing suits.
Accessories,accessories,accessories!!!! This is where you can bring to life an outfit on vacation. I tend to over pack when it comes to accessories, but I like knowing I have options.
Toiletries!!!! I can not use hotel brand hair products, nevertheless go without my favorite hairspray to maintain this thick Puerto Rican hair,lol. I always bring nail polish for touch ups, nail polish remover and travel size shampoo/conditioner etc...
My makeup is a must for the nightly outings, I use a Mac tinted moisturizer for the day.

OUR HONEYMOON

We actually went to St. Lucia/Sandals Resort for our Honeymoon and the best part is that we were there for NYE.

Ok, so what did we actually do on our honeymoon?! Well if you know me and my husband you would know that we both are very hard workers and both have had two jobs for most of our relationship and well we have been together 7yrs so relaxing was a must for us. I was very happy to find out that coworkers got us a candlelight dinner on the beach and a couple's massage which we absolutely loved. We went kayaking as well. We didn't do much excursions, but we did do a trash the dress shoot which was fun to do. NYE was so much fun because they had fireworks and just a sick party by the pool and beach.The spread they had was unbelievable. We also met couples that were vacationing, so it was fun to hang with them. Shout out to Connecticut and Washington DC. It was a memorable experience and cant wait to go back in 5yrs for anniversary. The food was so good, our favorite was the fresh oven baked pizza we literally ate everyday, also the crepes were so amazing, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I would recommend this resort to anyone, the staff were so friendly and the food was great.

Happy New Year!!! I know, I know sorry for the long wait for a blog, but I'm sure you all know how busy one can get during the Holidays. I'm actually just getting back from enjoying some R&R with my

Husband, I was in St. Lucia on my honeymoon, ahhhhh!!!! I recently got married in September and decided to hold off on the honeymoon till Dec/Jan and I'm so glad I did. I heard that we had some snow here in Jersey while I was away, so I was very happy to be in warm weather and not the cold.

Anyway, I promise that there will be more posts coming soon and I'll try not to have long waits. This post in particular is about a recent gala I attended. MPW and Key Music Group have this Gala they throw towards the end of every year, so me and my girlfriends decided we wanted to attend, plus it gave us a reason to wear gowns:).

I already knew the dress I was going to wear because I had it for a year, the only problem was I didn't like the sleeves on it, so I took it to my seamstress to adjust. I always tell friends it is a must to have a great seamstress that can fix your clothes or even make you something that will be one of a kind. I'm obsessed with my seamstress and I am very selective on who I give her info to, just because I always want to make sure she is available to do something for me,lol. I actually decided I will be taking sewing classes soon, so I can create my own pieces, but for now I go to my lady. Anyway the dress turned out amazing and was a big hit.

I know, you are thinking why am I doing a post on bikinis in the middle of December, but you ladies won’t be sorry if you keep reading. I think I own over a 100 bathing suits and that's probably an understatement. Usually when I go on vacation I purchase a bathing suit for each day, I just love different styles and cuts and I think now as I am getting older I'm loving a lot one pieces. My Christmas Decor!

There is no doubt that Christmas has to be my favorite Holiday ever, and each year I get so excited for December so that I can start decorating my home! I think my first year in my house I went crazy at Home Goods and Target, but it's all worth it when I see how pretty my home looks each year. My husband loves the way our home looks, so that's a plus too. Next year I think I'm going to switch it up, but for now I love the way my home looks once I'm all done putting the decorations up.

MY LITTLE LOVE CHEYENNE!!

So I clearly don't have children , but I do have girlfriends that do and I'm obsessed with all the cute outfits they put them in. My one girlfriend's daughter is just my little sweet pea, she is just a little ham and I love it. Every time her mom takes a picture of her and she says its for me she throws that little peace sign up and I just want to eat her up. Hopefully one day I will have a cute little girl that will dress and act like mommy, but for now I claim her as mine, lol. Lord knows my husband will have a heart attack if we do have a girl, if he thinks my shopping is bad now, my child is going to be decked out better than me. How to wear shorts in the fall.

Living in New Jersey I dread the moment when I have to pack away my summer clothes and pull out the same old fall looks, but this fall season I kept one summer essential out, shorts!!! Yes that's right ladies don't pack those shorts away just yet. I'm going to show you 4 easy ways to wear shorts in the fall and pair them with some key fall items. The one fall essential that you can use with shorts are tights, you can wear them under anything. Stay warm and add spunk to your outfit with fun prints on your tights. Put on a fun pair of tights or knee length socks under your shorts and turn that summer look into a fall fashion's must have look. Ladies, don't be afraid to add both tights and knee socks together.

The one thing I love about shorts is the fact that they show off my long legs which is always a plus. Be sure to pair your shorts with booties, tall boots, pumps or even flats. There are so many ways to wear shorts, so go in your closet and start with some essential pieces like tights, blazers, scarves, and sweaters and start mixing and matching, soon you will be the talk of the town.

Winter Wonderland Look!

With the Holidays around the corner some of my girlfriends and I decided that we will start an annual Christmas brunch with their children. The kids were so excited to go because they always see their mommies going to adult only brunches and beg to go every time, so to be able to go to their own brunch was super exciting for them. My girlfriends are fashionstas as much as I am, so you know we all looked so fab and festive. We took full advantage of the pretty Christmas tree in the lobby and had the poor hostess taking fifty pictures of us,lol but that's the norm for us and I wouldn't have it any other way. After brunch we decided to stop at one of my girlfriends Jesse's Forever 21 store in Newport mall in Jersey-City NJ, to do some shopping and have the kids take pictures with Santa. It was pretty funny to see people look at us all dressed up shopping but it was fun and I got some great finds.

As for my look, I went for a Winter Wonderland look, which I was very happy with. I purchased the skirt last season at forever21 and seriously didn't know what to pair it with till I purchased this grey bodysuit at www.hotmiamistyles.com and felt it worked perfectly together. Peplum is a big must have in your wardrobe this Fall. I fell in love with style about 2 years ago and glad I kept the pieces I purchased a while back. This style can be very flattering for all shapes and sizes if you wear it the right way. I'm a tall skinny girl, with no hips, so this gives me that hour glass shape I yearn for, and depending where the Peplum is placed in can also cover an unflattering pooch. Be sure when wearing a Peplum you keep anything you wear for the bottom symmetrical to the Peplum. The style is so popular, its on skirts, pants, blazers, sweaters, tops, and shorts. Play with different textures,colors, and pattern combinations when wearing a peplum, it really depends on your plans. I would wear this combo for a dinner date or night out with the girls. For work I would opt for a simple black peplum with a collar and this skirt.

A slim knee length skirt with a peplum attached is my favorite way to rock the look. The peplum is more bold on a pencil skirt and can make your outfit stand out. This is my favorite because it gives me that hour glass shape, I like. Wear cute booties or pumps with this look.

Try a statement-making jacket over pants, dresses, skirts, shorts and you can go no wrong. This look is just sexy sexy sexy. If you want to dress up anything , a peplum jacket is the way to go, the silhouette is just perfect. You can wear it with a top under or if you are daring with a just a statement necklace.

A statement jacket over peplum pants, is a great way to turn yourself into a rockstar for the night or for a summer look just a tank with cute sandals. Either way you will turn heads with your fab style.

Seeing Red!

Hi Ladies and Gents, hope everyone survived the Black Friday shopping. With that said the Holidays are coming up and what better color to talk about other than red. This color is always such a fun color to play with when it comes to adding some life to a boring outfit. I really use to hate the color and dare you ask me to wear a red lipstick, I would have looked at you as if you had four heads. As my style has grown so has my love for the color red. I have shoes, costume jewelry, pants, jackets, blouses and more in this bright fun hew. So, the question is how do you wear red? Trust me, there is a right and wrong way to wear it and Im going to show you the dos and don'ts.

Your outfit should have a splash of red, do not overload your outfit with tons of red unless you want to look like one of Santa's helpers. You can pair another bright color with red if you like, my favorite match would be a royal Blue or white. For Fall I like matching red with Black or Neutrals. If you are a wearing a red shoe, stick with these colors in your outfit so the key focal point is your shoe. Another great way to wear Red is on your lip, I tend to wear red lips when I have no color going on in my outfit, I love how it just gives my whole appearance a sexy feel.

Black Friday vs Cyber Monday

I figured this post was fitting since Black Friday was three days ago. Surprisingly I have only ventured out into the madness once in my life and once it will stay. You would think a girl like me who loves to shop would want to take advantage of the amazing sales, but truthfully it's not worth it for me. I suffer with bad migraines and do not like the feeling of being smothered, so imagine how I felt shopping on Black Friday. Though I do not venture out into the cold lines, I however do sit in the comfort of my home and do some serious online shopping. I'm not saying that the online shopping is not frustrating on Black Friday because we all have been there, that moment when you have all your favorite picks in the cart and once you get to checkout, boom!!!! That good old error message pops onto your screen, but truthfully I rather deal with that screen over a woman going for my jugular for a scarf any day of the week. We also don't want to forget good, old cyber Monday. So I do understand that those amazing deals come along and you just have to have the items, I myself would rather warm up some leftovers and surf the webs for some deals. Who knows maybe when I'm a mother, I'll venture back out on Black Friday for that special gift for my child until that time comes, I'll stay my little tush home with my little Raven.

My first Thanksgiving As A Wife!

So Thanksgiving was yesterday and for my family we really never make a big deal and get dressed up. Growing up you were lucky if we changed out of our pajamas, lol, so for me it was a very casual day, since it was just my mother, my husband and me. I wore leggings to give my stomach enough room to eat and a cute shirt that showed my love for my husband. The month of November is a special month for me, reason being its my anniversary with my husband, we made 7 years on 11/18, but now that we have been married 2 months our anniversary changed to 9/21/12, with that said I thought the shirt was fitting.. I also wore a beret, I love berets because you can wear them so many different ways. I decided to show you guys two different ways to wear my outfit and a three different ways to wear a beret. Which would you wear? I love taking my hats and playing with the look, I also wear this type of hat with a French side braid or fishtail. Here are some pics of me in the different looks.

Hi Ladies and Gents!

So I thought this was an important post for my readers because I get a lot of compliments about my eyebrows and questions about how I get that perfect arch, so here is how I do it. Before i get to the how to, let me give you the history of my eyebrows.So as a teenager I use to go get my eyebrows waxed at the local nail salon and looking back at pictures I cringe at how horrific my eyebrows use to look. My eyebrows looked like a rainbow painted on my face, they were uneven and didn't do anything for my features. Not a lot of people realize how eyebrows can change your appearance drastically. As I got older I grew out my eyebrows and just started tweezing myself because I didn't trust anyone to ever do them again, that is till my girlfriend introduced me to Azmeena. This woman is amazing with eyebrows and she really made a difference in the way my eyebrows look. When I first met Azmeena she said to me "Sweetie if you listen to me you will have your dream eyebrows," and boy was she right. The hardest part about achieving that perfect eyebrow is the regrowing process. I had to grow my eyebrows for a month. The first two weeks were fine but the last two weeks I avoided going out because I looked like chumbaca,lol. Ladies this is the most important part, do not touch your eyebrows at all, it's hard but worth it. After a month I went back and she gave me a great arch. It took four months for the perfect look because one eyebrow was shorter than the other. Azmeena told me as long as I didn't touch my eyebrows, they will grow and they did. I drive 45mins once a month for to get my eyebrows threaded, but for me it's well worth it. ·        Threading is less painful in comparison to other methods of hair removal such as tweezing and waxing.
·        Unlike the use of depilatories, threading has minimal side effects of irritation and puffiness.
·        Threading is highly recommended by dermatologists for those who use Retin-A, Accutone, and other similar products.
·        Over sensitive skin may experience some discomfort but far less than waxing.
·        Optional: Apply emollient cream or antiseptic lotion and massage for a few minutes. Gently remove excess cream/lotion with a cotton pad.
Well shaped eyebrows will also give you an instant face-lift, enhance your appearance and make you look a few years younger than your age. It also takes away a few pounds from your face.

AS A GENERAL RULE, TRIMMING AND THREADING SHOULD BE DONE BY A SPECIALIZED AND EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL

STEP 2: FILL IN

Enhance your eyebrow by applying brow shadow to fill in the brow. Begin the application from the tail of the eyebrow to the peak of the arch, and from the arch to the thickness and inner corner. Next, apply the shadow on the inner side of the eyebrow by blending toward the arch.

Use eyebrow pencil for sparsed or brow area with no hair before applying brow shadow.

So anyone and everyone who knows me knows how much I love Hello Kitty. The love for the iconic character started about two years ago when two of my girlfriends who are also fanatics started getting me little cute gifts.
