Les précédents enregistrements de ce trublion de la scène de Detroit nous avait mis devant un curieux sentiment. Autant avec les Clone &lt;br/&gt;

Ce fut donc chose faite lors de ce jeudi soir à l'Espace B, sympathique bar/restau juxtaposant  le parc de la Villette dans le XIXème arrondissement de Paris. Petite et toute de noir vêtue, la salle de concert l'est &lt;br/&gt;

Après un excellent premier album d'americana (The Lonesome Sea), une tournée en première partie de Band Of Horses, on a cru à...&lt;br/&gt;

Il est vrai aussi que depuis lors, à l'exception du mitigé Warm Slime, le groupe ne nous a jamais déçu que ce soit avec le folk déglingué de Castlemania ou sur la compilation Singles parfait condensé des multiples facettes du groupe de John Dwyer.

Il faut dire que le son du groupe à cette époque et le fait qu'il soit distribué par Alive Records pouvait aisément induire en erreur.

Alors que leur troisième album est sur les rails, point de chronique des Bare Wires. Point de chronique non plus du louable premier effort des Blasted Canyons. Mais l'injustice la plus criante aurait été de passer sous silence plus longtemps l'oeuvre de Sonny Smith et &lt;br/&gt;

Malgré ces débuts discographiques encourageants on était curieux d'écouter ce premier album solo de Mikal Cronin (tout de même accompagné de Ty Segall qui tient les fûts sur 4 pistes, Charlie &lt;br/&gt;

A l'évidence le trio de Denton maitrisait parfaitement les codes, et en évitant les pièges du bubblegum où d'autres se sont vautrés avant eux, créaient une réelle attente.

Il aura néanmoins fallu attendre &lt;br/&gt;
