It’s not often that I am asked to review products online, usually I just get ofers to promote the “next big thing”, but today this post is very unique.

I have been asked by Mike and Omar to review their brand new course, entitled “Internet Selling For Newbies”, so I’ll try to give you my most open and honest opinions below.

Internet Selling For Newbies by is a complete step-by-step VIDEO training course that teaches you how to set up a web based business from the ground up without the huge financial investment that is usually associated with starting a six figure business.

Basically, the course is both physical and web based.

The physical portion is provided free as long as you cover the shipping and handling, which isn’t ridiculously priced either, just a couple of dollars…

The course itself, is made up of 10 training modules plus an array of extra good stuff in which, most of the teaching is done by Omar himself - AND it’s really classroom style teaching like if you were back in high school or college, which I could relate to and enjoyed.

Soon afterwards, O, follows up what he teaches you with step by step screen capture videos so you can learn how to actually APPLY what you’ve learned in the classroom (so to speak).

The modules cover everything from the very basics of how internet selling works, to affiliate marketing, traffic, search engines, merchant accounts and pretty much everything you need to know in order to have a solid foundation.

Once you’ve grasped the basics in the CD-Rom, the course moves on to help you build your own business. This is very detailed and you’ll learn everything from registering domains, hosting, html editing, wordpress blogs, graphics, squeeze pages, video, audio, sales pages, copy writing, product creation, marketing strategy, membership sites and just way too much to mention here.

I’m so glad this wasn’t some out dated course where the links don’t even work anymore. This is really cutting edge stuff. There’s even a section about social media, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook etc, totally up to the minute and “what works NOW”.

But aside from all the fresh stuff, I think my favorite part is that they have actually gotten some guest instructors to add some pretty valuable content, and when I say valuable - I mean it. The entire product itself must have about 100 video’s in (NOT including the text content and resources!).

It’s called Internet Selling For Newbies, because it shows you the “forward to basics methods” I teach to my 121 Mentoring clients, that without a SOLID foundation, and a clear path envisioned to your direction online - you’ll only do one thing… FAIL.

Just a quick piece of advice that I have personally used in my business that has SERIOUSLY helped me move forward online.

We all know that in order to get our name out there in a good light, and build solid relationships with OTHER marketers we need to be able to offer them “something” of value - now there are no rules as to what kind of value we could offer.

However, there are many marketers online RIGHT NOW, teaching very diluted methods of relationship building that are tired… (in otherwords, been done many times before an no-one cares!)

If you are trying to build relationships and rapport in order to secure a friendship to lead to better things for your online business, such as future joint ventures or adswaps - then TAKE NOTE of my advice today.

Here’s what I do:

SEND THE MARKETER A GIFT!

Yes, you got it. A gift - something that you KNOW is going to be valuable to that person, and something that will certainly separate YOU from all the other approaches used tirelessly by other marketers!

For example in my business I have sent Lee McIntyre a Manchester Utd pen.

Why? Simply because he is an avid Manchester Utd supporter! I doubt he receives too many of these in the post - and not only that, everytime he uses the pen he will remember me!

I also have sent John Thornhill a similar gift, in the form of a Oil-Based print of Sunderland Football Club - which he framed and hung in his office.

Why? Well again for the same reason.

So the next time YOU try to offer another marketer some FREE articles, or graphics, or whatever (like other marketers tell you to do) - remember me again, and use your loaf!

Look around the marketer in questions site, do you see anything that they have revealed they like?

Can you find a gift based on their hobbies or interests that YOU can find them?

If so, do your research and SEND them a gift out of the blue, with your email address enclosed etc, and you’ll be onto a winning relationship - providing you MAINTAIN the help to THEM and the support for many years down the road!
