Thunder Valley R/C Raceway • Saturday June 2nd is Race Day
Track opens at 11 for practice with racing starting at 5. Can Chris Harrington be beat in Late Model? Can Chad Phillips be beat in 2wd buggy? 2wd SC and 4wd SC will be up for grabs. Several new racers moving up to take over on the winners podium!!!!

Thanks for that info! I'm gonna try out Avid springs first.

Shane doesn't count lol. When he bought a Slash 4x4, took it out of the box and won 4x4 Short Course the first day he had it I quit trying to win. :lol:

Might switch to big bore springs

Lots of people running the 22 springs to keep the AE ones from rubbing the bodies.

You would also need TLR 5095 and springs

Shorty lipo is nice too.

But........ Shane was fast with the stock 4.1?

We changed the motor rule this season. It is a mod class -- open motor. 13.5 to a 10.5 is what everyone is running. We will run the same layout.

I know the motor limit is 13.5 but are there any ESC's that aren't allowed? Sorry for the seemingly noob questions but I just want to be legal.

Hopefully I will have mine built by Saturday but I'm gonna need some serious setup help from you experts at the track. I know nothing about buggies. :oops:

Also, instead of making a new thread for this question - will the track have a new layout or will it be the same as last race?
