ANJAC – M.Com.(CA) PARENTS TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

The Parent-Teacher Association Meeting was held on 31.03.2018. Mr.R.D.Sivakumar, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of M.Com. (CA) and Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi welcomed the gathering. Mr.R.D.Sivakumar thanked the parents for their excellent Co-operation rendered to the administration of the ANJAC-M.Com. (CA) Department. Mr.R.D.Sivakumar assured that the College is ragging free campus and informed the parents about various anti ragging measures taken in the campus. Mr.R.D.Sivakumar also requested the parents to monitor their wards about the usage of lap-top issued by the Tamilnadu Government and ensure that they have been used judiciously. Mr.R.D.Sivakumar also insisted that 75% of attendance is compulsory for all the students and it is mandatory for writing the terminal examinations. Mr.R.D.Sivakumar also stressed that the all students must have voter ID as per government instructions. The parents must ensure that their wards are having voter ID. Then the parents are asked to express their opinions. Students and Parents also expressed their feedback. Later the Mr.R.D.Sivakumar thanked the Parents for their presence.

Rengarajan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Commerce, Rajapalayam Rajus’ College, Rajapalayam was the University Nominee for the BOS. Dr. A. Selvaraj, Associate Professor and Head, P.G. and Research Department of Commerce, Gobi Arts and Science College, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District was the subject expert. Mr.R.D.Sivakumar, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of M.Com(CA), Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi was the Chair person for the BOS. All the other Heads, M.Com. (CA) staff members were present on the BOS meet.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE MEETING

1. The Board of Studies has discussed and approved the syllabi of Core Paper 17CR313 – Taxation Law and Practice for the students admitted in June 2017 and later without any modifications.

41^st GRADUATION DAY – 22^nd FEBRUARY, 2018

The 41^st Graduation Day of ANJAC was held on 22.02.2018. Around 1440 students received their degrees in person. And nearly 262 students received the degrees and diploma in absentia. President Thiru. A. Ramamurthy, declared open the Graduation Day. Principal, Dr. V. Pandiyarajan, delivered the welcome address and presented the annual report of the college. Dr.K.Kudalingam, M.Com.,M.B.A.,M.Phil.,Ph.D. Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Madurai Region, Madurai delivered the graduation day address.

The Heads of Department shall read out the names of the graduates of their departments, one by one. The candidates shall proceed to the dais as their names are read out and receive their Degrees. The Candidates will come to the dais and receive the degrees by bowing down and proceed to resume their seats.
