So the prior validation program that is Office Genuine Advantage finally got removed after 4 years. I guess Microsoft could no longer bother with fixing the ongoing bugs anymore (though I never get the idea of validation of genuineness before downloading anyway). Well, Active Office is still in place, but at least those support software can can now be direct downloaded. Though I wonder if WGA will soon follow OGA.

The art of speeding up your computer, leave it to good programs

As a tool to answer users' demands, from work to entertainment, a computer's processing speed is vital. To maintain good processing speed, there are many programs out there that can do the job. I tested a lot of those, and these are the ones that really work for me:

CCleaner is a freeware from Piriform. It has a simple user interface and very effective in cleaning out the hidden trash files. It can also fix Registry, but as always, backup before doing that. In general, just run CCleaner once a week and your PC will continue to run smoothly.

Glary Utilities is a freeware that can clean and maximize system processing. Even if you are unfamiliar with all the technical aspects, this program's '1-Click Maintenance' can get your PC run like new with a click of the mouse. It can be upgraded to PRO edition for more technical capacities.

Game Booster is of course, best for gamers. In general, it temporarily turns off unused background processes, free more RAM and help smoother game-plays. It is very safe and will not affect your hardware. Of course, the process can always be reversed with a click of the mouse.

Hope these can help you as much as they helped me.
