Start every works with Basmalah

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Daripada Abu Hurairah R.A bahawa Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam bersabda:

Translation: From Abu Hurairah R.A. that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said:

Meaning: All words or things that have a purpose (that is done)
that do not begin with zikrullah then are cut off (from blessing).

If everyone noticed, I start to put Basmalah only in the previous two posting. It is referring posting titled "Happy New Year Friends" and the recent posting titled "Stay updated, keep germane". However, my real intention to put Basmalah only on recent posting and not in the last two posting because it just like only an incident without intention in putting the Basmalah.

So what's mean by all that?

After realize the usage of Basmalah especially in early of writing, I heard from few "ustaz" said, Islamic scholar putting Basmalah in initial writing such as in books due to two factors, which is first to achieve blessing based on Hadith of prophet (such above) and second because followed the Al-Quran, where every "surah" in Al-Quran is starting with Basmalah.

Realizing that fact, I decide to take similar action to put Basmalah in every posting to earn same benefit and followed our scholars ways. But the most important is, we doing this because it is an instruction from prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam that asking us to start every works with Basmalah.

It little disappointing to me when see this blog is empty and no updated almost one year. Everything is starting when i pursue my study in Master level, I am too busy to complete everything, added with my working and personsl life.

Alhamdulillah, now I have succeed to have Master and just waiting for the convocation ceremony. Then, after this I will try to fulfill this blog with related information and story as well as write in quality language and grammar (I tried my best, InsyaAllah).

Before ending this post i want to remind myself and everyone, this blog set up to help myself to continue writing and improve my English. That is my ultimate aim, but in other side I also want to share something meaningful and precious for all to read.

The Pearson report highlights seven societal megatrends that public librarians will need to address to ensure continued relevancy. These values include :

1. Changing technology
2. Changing globalization
3. Changing demographic change
4. Changing environmental sustainability
5. Changing urbanization
6. Changing rising inequality
7. Changing and political uncertainty

In response to these trends, human skills that will be needed include “teaching, social perceptiveness, service orientation, and persuasion.”

Empowering Ummah (Part I)

Here, I am very interested to share meaningful messages from Al Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Bin Abu Bakar Al Hamid at the "HAFLAH ZIKIR PERDANA SEDUNIA 2017". He delivered a speech on how to strengthen the Ummah. However the note written in Bahasa, Insyaallah will be translated later.

On the left is Al Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Bin Abu Bakar Al Hamid, and at the left is Sheikh Muhammad Nuruddin Marbu AbduLlah Al-Banjari Al-Makki.

Mengukuhkan ummat adalah dengan tiga cara iaitu :

1. Pembinaan rumah tangga
2. Sistem pendidikan
3. Qudwah (contoh ikutan)

Ummah akan rosak sekiranya tiga perkara ini tidak di jaga dan ini telah diterangkan oleh Habib seperti huraian di bawah.

1. Pembinaan rumah tangga
Permulaan pembinaan ummah adalah bermula dengan wanita iaitu isteri dan ibu. Berlaku kerosakan ummah apabila :

-Di tanam di hati wanita jika tidak keluar rumah, maka mereka akan menjadi seorang yang malu (kolot) kerana hidup di rumah.

-Ibu adalah madrasah yang pertama, jika dipersiapkan seorang ibu itu maka keluar anak yang berjaya

-Menjadi permasalahan adalah jika wanita duduk di rumah maka tidak maju dan tidak punyai daya saing

-Persepsi yang negatif itu menyebabkam wanita keluar

-Jika ditinggalkan tugasan di rumah, maka bermulalah keruntuhan rumah tangga

-Nabi sering kali menekankan watak wanita kerana pentingnya peranan wanita mempengaruhi lelaki

-Tiada fitnah yang mencabar bagi lelaki selain wanita iaitu apabila wanita tersebut tidak menjalankan tugas sebagai wanita

-Salah satu sebab anak derhaka kerana kegagalan dalam mendidik anak-anak

Issues of IS become worse by day. Wrong perception about jihadist become main factor for this issue. From the information, they are several extremist involve in IS because of reading. Mohd Rafi from Malaysia was join IS after reading book title "Tarbiah Jihadiah" by Dr. Abdullah Azzam.

How big the impact of reading. It can affect our mindset and thought. The choosing of book can react to ourself. For this case, it is not enough to us to read the book without learn from scholars especially in Islamic area. Reading can become good habit to ourself, but the wrong interpretation to the content will giving bad effect.

It is suggested to our, to get advice from authorize if we are not in that field. Very important to us to know which reading material suitable for us. In some area of knowledge they are not enough to gain the knowledge by reading, it is very crucial getting it by learning.

At the end, we are very hopeful not to involve in IS and their ideology. At the same time, we are also hope not easily influenced ourself in extremist by reading wrong material.

Tittle and the theme

Why Read Alert?

I don't have any big reason in selecting the name. For me it just an idea that given by Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala to me.

In another side, i am studies in information management and specifically in librarianship course. For that reason, word "READ" is always related to my field and the blog theme. The word "ALERT" simply an affirmation to the word before it.

It is copy of RED ALERT game?

Honestly, i am take an idea from that game. However I am not addicted to that game but i have play the game during my teens.

In my ways to find the suitable name, Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala give me an idea to change the word of RED to READ. I am very excited with that title and i hope by choosing that name can give an attraction.

Learn & Conquer as a theme?
Word "Learn & Conquer" also came from the theme of the game. Originally, the word is Command & Conquer. I'm decide to change the word of "command" to "learn"

For me, learn or learning is the highest process to achieve wisdom status. For that reason, we have to learn to become complete human that able to use knowledge and morals in daily life.

Alhamdulillah, this blog is publisher in personal, with hope to share something meaningful. I am decide to write my first posting in 26 Ramadan 1437H although i'm publish it on 27 Ramadan. For that matter this blog is officially open on 26 Ramadan.
