I'm sure that one of the things that you're wondering right now is, "How exactly does HubPages help me make money?" This is a common question, and with all of the make-money-online-now schemes and scams out there, it's no surprise that many potential writers feel a little skeptical about the whole idea. A 10-Step Overview

A person who loves to write joins HubPages.
The new Hubber joins ad programs of their choice, such as Google AdSense, the HubPages Ad Program, the HubPages eBay Program, and the HubPages Amazon Program. Joining these programs is what allows the Hubber to generate earnings from the transactions that occur on their Hub (clicking on ads, buying a product from Amazon, etc).
Now it's time for the Hubber to think of a topic to write about. There are no limitations to what they can write about on HubPages as long as it's written in English and isn't offensive or spammy content (please read what is allowed for further clarification). If the Hubber knows a lot about surfing, then they can write about that. If they know about raising children, then they can write about that as well. Of course, a little bit of research is always a good idea.
Once the Hubber decides on a topic and researches it, they then write the Hub and fill it with informative, interesting and topical content including text, links, images, video, and other media that they feel is relevant to the topic. It's easy to add this content with the HubTool.
When the Hubber is finished writing the Hub, they then publish it. This makes the Hub publicly available to anyone surfing the web and it also lets the search engines, such as Google, Yahoo!, and Bing know that it is available for indexing so that it can be searchable as well. At this point the Hubber can also share their newly published Hub with his friends via Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and your HubPages Feed, as well as any other social networking websites that they spend time on.
Once the Hub is indexed, someone searches on a search engine (Google, Yahoo!, etc.) for a topic similar to the one that the Hubber published their Hub about. When the topic is searched, the Hub may show up in the search results and the person searching clicks on it.
The Hub is then viewed by the visitor who was searching and at this point the Hub is filled with content that the Hubber has written as well as ads (and potentially eBay and Amazon products or other ads that the Hubber signed up for) that are related to the topic covered in the Hub.
While reading through the Hub, a visitor also sees the ads and products that are placed on published Hubs and the Hubber can earn money through these ads.
As the Hub gets visitors over time, the Hub will continue to earn money for its author. The more visitors a Hub gets, the more money that author stands to earn from ads. Writing evergreen Hubs helps ensure long-term, sustained traffic and earnings.
The Hubber then publishes other Hubs on other topics and continues to make money as they are viewed.

The key to making money on HubPages is writing many very high-quality Hubs. In order for Hubs to gain search engine trust, they must be well-written, informative, and useful to readers.

A Real-Life Success Story

These 10 steps are a very basic and fundamental example of how HubPages can help you make money. To make the process even easier to understand, check out this real-world example of how a Hubber made some money from an Amazon sale on one of his Hubs.

One of our super awesome Hubbers, jimmythejock, decides to write a Hub on everything you would ever need to know about Rolex watches.
Jimmy then researches the subject and finds information, links, images, and other media that he can add to his soon-to-be-amazing Hub. He even decides to add a few Amazon and eBay Capsules in case anyone reading his Hub is ready to buy. He knows that they are a great way to make some additional money from his Hubs, especially when he's writing about products such as a Rolex watches.
After Jimmy is done researching he writes his Rolex-filled Hub and publishes it with the title Rolex Watches A Definitive Guide. Within a couple hours it's indexed by all of the search engines.
Within hours people who are searching for Rolex watches are already finding his freshly published Hub and the traffic begins to build. As time goes on and more people read the Hub (and maybe even link to it from their own blog or site), it will begin to get even more traffic and exposure which earns Jimmy even more money through his Amazon and eBay Capsules and his ads on the page.
Jimmy continues to write more Hubs, have fun and make money on HubPages ($1,200 the month before this writing). Check out some of his latest Hubs if you'd like to see what he's been up to, and have a look at more of our success stories for inspiration.

Of course, not everyone is going to make money on every Hub that they write on HubPages, but the point is that everyone has the potential to. Also, one thing to remember is that Jimmy loves to write and likes publishing Hubs and being a member of the community just as much as he likes making money (although I'm sure it doesn't hurt). If you keep writing and enjoying your time at HubPages, the money could be a natural result of of your experience here. So, have fun and get to writing - we're looking forward to seeing what Hubs you end up publishing!

START YOUR EARNING

Secrets to making money on FanBox

There are so many rumors and ideas floating around the community.... so many different strategies to maximize your earnings.

So, who should you listen to? What's the best way to make the most money -- that you can CASH OUT as soon as possible?

Should you post to Facebook and Twitter?

Posting to facebook, google, twitter etc are all good ideas. But if you look at the amount of money people are making from those sources -- its not much. The source that is making the most money for people (not counting ads) -- is definitely from Making New Posts. The reason is that when you make new posts, thousand of people will see it (at no cost to you) because it is shown in their fanbox homepage feed.

So definitely try facebook and twitter and things like that -- but I am sure you will find that most of the non-ad money is coming from making new posts. Every day I see people making good money from posting -- as much as $50 or $100 (I've even seen as much as $300 made in one day from making new posts) -- but I never see anyone making more than $3 to $6 from other sites or even from their fanbox profile.

OK, so the very best way to make money is to Make New Posts. But what should I write about?

The very best thing for you to write about is.... ready for this.... NOTHING!

What??? Let me explain....

Why take the time to write about anything -- when there are millions of web sites and billions of pages of content on every possible imaginable topic already on the web -- and totally accessible instantly using google!!! So you can easily copy and paste right from those sites right into Fanbox -- just be sure to give them credit with one easy line at the end of your post, something like "Source: XYZ.com" or something like that.

Look, readers don't care that you took it from somewhere else -- they are just happy that you did the research and brought it to them! And the owner of that content usually doesn't care, because you gave him credit -- and if he ever has a problem with it, worst case he'll ask you to take it down (which will take you only about 10 seconds) but that will not happen often.

OK, so to maximize my earnings, is to make new posts. But, I have big ambitions and would really like to Go Big -- REALLY BIG! What can I do to make LOTS OF MONEY?

So as we just discussed, the best way to earn the most money, is to make new posts -- tons of them. Want to go bigger than that?

I wouldn't be surprised if you could make so much money that way that you could hire one person to help you, then another person, then another person.... gradually building a team that does that for you, as your earnings grow -- because you don't have other costs.

Then, you can also hire another person to manage your ads -- and their job is to make sure that only the best ads are kept live -- so their job will be to basically try many ads each day, but quickly take the ones down that aren't producing for you.

There is plenty of proof that someone can build a company out of this opportunity -- if they have the ambition and the communication and leadership
