We had so much fun of course, this year we butchered a 35lb'er pig bought in the farm. I didn't get involved with the whole process from prep to finish because nobody wants to listen to me so it went really challenging and so fun!

I just loved every inch they tried to get the cleaning done. Pictures coming in a moment.

Fall

Fall is already here weeks ago, I like the weather this time a little bit than the summer. It was just so hot and humid. Well, sorry to complained, we were up in AK for a little over a year so I was adjusting a bit with the temperature. Some people assumed that I would be loving it because I came from the Philippines and was already used to it but they didn't realized that I've been living here for over 3 years now. Quiet long enough for me not to feel the Philippine weather, so I'm imagining how would I be able to cope up when we visit down there soon.

my little guy's first meal

I have just started feeding my little boy a couple of weeks ago and his first meal were ground boiled carrots. He loved it! He smiles back to me every time I feed him a half teaspoon of carrots. I know it's a little bit early yet for him but he is already in the point were he grabbed whatever so curiously and feed it to his mouth. So, I decided that I might as well start feeding him little by little. Of course, he still has to have his bottle for awhile but introducing baby foods on his meal won't probably be a huge problem. I just have to be careful on the foods he'd be eating and the texture because he's still little and prone to choking. So above are the shots I took for him on that first day, he ate.

Old songs I loved

We just got home from another escapade in the cabin. It was so much fun ever. Eleven people were riding at this little trailer last night attached to a lawn mower (not the push kind) and Dad is driving it along the bumpy and muddy roads. We were all laughing and talking, it was so hilarious. I will never ever forget that night. Allen's big brother was with us, Cabby and Adan, Jesse and Shelley with their dogs, Dad, and Tammy and Nick with his daughter. It's great to come up there when there's lots of companies, they said the more the merrier which is true.

Anyway, I'm chillin' and doing a little bit of karaoke in youtube. I missed those Sunday songs that I used to listen and sang with my Mom at our local radio station in Dipolog. So, I went to youtube and searched a couple of classic songs I really loved to hear since I was in high school. I love classic songs so much because they have more sense and thought than those new ones today (no offense meant please).

So, here's Conway Twitty and Joni's song "Don't Cry Joni" and Sue Thompson's "Sad Movies".

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:subtitle>We just got home from another escapade in the cabin. So, yes, we're officially moving back to Minnesota, to the place where I started being a wife. We figured out since the house isn't selling we might as well come back so we will only have one payment to think about, I mean the apartment here that we're renting and the mortgage we're paying every month in Minnesota. Even though we can afford it somewhat (with Cale's only working) but Cale has been missing his other son little Cole. He hasn't seen him for at least a year or so. He has to give up his work and thinking of starting a new store for him.

This week is our last week in Alaska. I'll be flying back to Minnesota on the 1st with Allen and Jessie (Cale's bro) while Cale and his Dad will be driving to Canada up to the beautiful landscape of the Rocky Mountain(s). But before that, of course they're gonna go salmon fishing. Our fridge is almost full already with salmon fillets, we would sure need a big cooler when we send this out in the plane with us. The boys are also excited for fishing, they'll be here in the night of the 28th so we won't get to see them until the following day. I'm excited to see our house back, we're planning to re fix the basement soon when we get there for I will be using some space for my work.

Anyway, I just stopped by for some updates as I don't get too come over here very often anymore. I have so much things going on lately plus blogging isn't that great these past days as it was before. I'm hoping that it will come back soon because hey that was a good money there too! So, take care everyone and have a great week ahead!

"Lift up your hands"

I was a little bit emotional today. Allen was falling asleep so I sung him my most favorite song, "Lift up your hands". I got carried away and tears started to pour. We used to sing this song on training seminars, recollections and during the children's mass. It sure reminds me a lot about home. Every lyrics of the song really touches your heart, so I couldn't help it.

In which I also like the people who sang this, like Basil Valdez and revived by Gary V. I'll probably play it again, and hopefully this time I would remain firm.

Watch TV Shows Online Free

People, here is now the way to watch FREE stuff online. I know all of you have already been posting or read about MJ's (Michael Jackson) death so I'm not going to put more comments anymore in here because the more comment we say about him the more we're trashing him. For the sake of his children and the great music that he had contributed in this world, I on my part would like to respect his resting peacefully.

Anyway, today is Thursday and a lazy day for me. Me and Allen just woke up, we slept so good. I've been waking up early this morning because he was a little bit cranky. I don't know why but I had to soothe him down so he can go back to sleep as well as his Dada. He's doing okay now, he's in his bouncer talking with his toys, since he's growing he has been blabbering a lot. And, I think it's a good sign.

Work at home scammers

I've been browsing the internet for hours now as part of my break time. I tried to look for some online work at home "with no start-up fees" but I found nothing but a BIG BULL CRAP of these sites that recommends sites that are full of shitty alibis. Saying this certain site and so offers no money to get you into a job but in the end of the webpage, they would ask for your credit card information or paypal account. What a big scam! Liars!

So, NEVER EVER signed up for a home working site(s) that asks for MONEY. They're such a good scammer! Get a life people and go to hell!

just lost 21lbs

Okay, so I gained a total of 41lbs after I gave birth right? Now, my baby will be 4-month old soon and guess how much I currently gain? I lost 21 freakin' pounds! I'm definitely getting there. Well, I still have these loose bellies but it doesn't look so bad anymore. Thanks for my little secret aerobics and a little diet. Of course, chocolate cakes or cookies and ice creams are not included. LOL. They are still my favorite and I still love them.

So, speaking of losing weight I think I need to get going now and do some little exercises. She will be selling all kinds of nice looking home and gifts artifacts. It seemed so interesting and inviting to me but she was worried on how to get her own website so her other friends (not mostly my friends) could also be able to view online from their own computer. So, while my dear son is playing on his bouncer I went to surf some affordable website hosting(s) and happened to came at webhostinggeeks. Just from looking at their website my eyes directs me to the hosting awards that they have received and the ratings that most customers and established sites gave them. I read over some few customer reviews and they are so amazing, they're mostly satisfied with the hosting especially the very friendly customer support. I think this is exactly what my friend needs, webhostinggeeks. It looks like they are the best of all web host masters online doing business over 5 years.

And, oh they just charge $10 a month plus they even gives free trials to new customers for satisfaction guaranteed. Wow, this is indeed so incredible. So, I'm going to call my dear friend and recommend this site.

Allen

Pictures of my very precious little guy!

Up here in AK

It's almost 3:00 in the morning here in AK and I am still wide awake, I guess my eyes has already been used to wake up at this time. I just got done pumping and just waiting for the baby to wake up so I can feed him and change his dipe.

I can still remember the time I gave birth to my precious little guy. It was such an experience! It was on the third day of March around 1:00pm when they started the induction. It felt strange and scary but I was so excited that I would finally be meeting my baby that have been in my womb for almost 9 months. Labor wasn't that great but everything's worth the sacrifices.

My little Allen will be 4-month old next month and I can't just wait 'til he would start crawling and walking soon. Boy, he's such a good blabber! And, being a Mom is indeed a gift! I always love looking at my baby's face and reminisce the time while he was still inside my womb.

I've got to get going now everyone, my back has started to sting a little bit. Do take care and see you around.

Getting back

Oh wow woww! It's been such a long time since the last visit I had in here. Well, I don't want to blame it on my pregnancy but I would say that I was so lazy the entire time of my pregnancy to post anything in this site and get you updated guys. Not because I worked the whole time but because I just didn't want to do anything. Maybe because the Eclampsia had been developed on my body gradually that makes me feel unmotivated to start a single sentence.

The Eclampsia came to me slowly that I never felt any single symptoms even on the time I delivered my baby. But according to my doctor, Eclampsia had conquer my system very severely on the day they have decided to induced me.

WebMD was and is my main source on all the answers to my health questions even now that I have my baby. So, I am thankful that I found those answers and to all the posters who were so generous to share their own stories.

I will be posting the explanation of Pre-eclampsia and Eclampsia in the next post as well as during the remaining times of my pregnancy. And, I would like to say thank you to all the people who still keep on visiting this site aiming for some updates. Those people who undoubtingly left a message on the comment area, those reactions I have received on my posts, to those people who added my site whom I missed and lastly, to all of you who were here today as I am writing this. Thank you so much and on my part I will try my best to pay you anytime soon. Take care and Best Wishes.

T.G.I.F (Thanks God It's Friday)

Hello everyone! I hope everybody's ready for the weekend. Any plans for the weekend? Me, I get to spend the whole weekend off because I don't work at the bank anymore. I just went back from my previous job at Geneva Woods. I like it there much better because I am more relaxed and I can just sit most of the time, not like at the bank where we have to stand all day and I had to wear my heels otherwise I won't be able to reach my window. You know I can work 12 hrs a day or maybe more than that as long as I don't have to stand most of the time. That's really my main dilemma.

My current condition doesn't affect my motivation to work everyday because I feel healthy. I don't feel sick, nauseous, dizzy or tired. I admit I get a little tired but not while I'm at work or when I'm working, it usually happen when I get home and when I'm off, all I would want is to sleep and eat. Doing house chores? Uh, uh, that's another topic. Let's discuss that later. LOL.

Anyway, I just want to throw a little bit update here. I am now on my 24th week of my pregnancy. I can just vividly feel my baby's movements and of course my tummy is getting bigger and heavier. My clothes are getting unrealiable, sometimes when I ride at the passenger seat I had to hold that grip bar up above the car ceiling so I can slowly take a sit. And, not a girly sit. I had to openly spread my legs carefully untouched my lower abdomen. It is kind of hard but believe me it is uncomparable to the joy that I feel everytime I I feel my baby's kicks.

It is indeed so priceless! I'm attaching below my baby's development from the baby center and a pic of me showing my popping belly.

Nikon Black Friday Promo

My husband wasn't feeling good at all for this year. Number one reason is because he couldn't go for hunting neither in Alaska or in Minnesota. He couldn't go hunting up here in Alaska because all his hunting stuffs are in Minnesota, and he couldn't come down to Minnesota either for the deer hunting season because he can't leave his work. So, he doesn't like this year at all and wished that it will go fast.

He spoke to me about looking for more hunting stuff(s) that he can exclusively use for Alaska next year. So, I helped him looking online and at the local stores around but he hasn't decided which one to get yet. When I get home today, I saw that Nikon is having a huge sale and even extending it for the yearly Nikon Black Friday Promo. They got lots of good stuff going on and yes, this is indeed a great deal for all the hunters like my husband. One of them, is this hunting package that only costs $144.90 that comes with all the hunting paraphernalias you'd need. Wow, isn't it really a good deal?

Starving

Today was my last day at the bank because I will be starting another job at the health care company where I used to work before. Rarely you can find stuff that are so much affordable, nice and a good one. Since this is happening right now, we've got to be wise enough to find the perfect kind that we like and would fit in our pocket.

Just like in getting good uniforms and accessories for those people in the public service like the soldiers. To name a few, this Blackhawk CQC Holsters has a smooth design to make your draw and releases easy and quick. It's not anymore like the old-fashioned one that has been obsolete for years. So, if you've been carrying the one that's almost ripped off from constant usage. Now, is the time to have these kinds that would surely last for a long time.

Lazy day

I'm off today so I just pretty much stay at home, I was planning to do some errands but I got so lazy to see my car covered with snow. It's gotta be a lot of work scraping those snows out this Friday. Cale's friends were inviting us for a get-together for tomorrow's day. He is planning to bring something but I am just so terribly lazy to do anything. I don't want to move my ass. I just want to lay down and feel my baby's movement down my womb.

I'm so excited to see and hold my baby soon. Just 4 and half more months to go and I'll be able to hold him. I have lots of anticipations for that coming day, I'm just really scared with the labor. I hope and pray that every thing's going to be just fine.

My Baby to be...

Here's the preassumed face of my baby to be. I started the car before going to work but my defroster wasn't working good so the ice on my windshield didn't go away. I drove to work with my windshield full of ice, all the cars that I passed by were staring at me. And, I didn't know that the sun was so bright at the highway so right at the intersection the visibility was so poor and it got really worst until I almost reach the bank. I was so scared that I really thanked God he helped me make it through.

Not just that, I was designated to be assigned at the Drive-up for two consecutive weeks. Drive-up customers are sometimes fun and sometimes a big pain in the ass. Now, one of the Drive-up requirements on cash out transactions is to provide 2-forms of ID regardless of the amount. And, there's this one woman who would like to cash her check and was so hesitant to give 2 pieces of ID because according to her she has an account with us. So, I explained to her that Drive-up does requires 2 forms of ID and it is vividly posted on those two signs right when you come in the Drive-up lanes. Well, she was of course unexpectedly upset for that so she told me that I was the first employee of that bank who asked her 2 pieces of ID. Our lead teller heard what she said so she talked to her and explain to her one of the policies that I on my part just trying to follow.

Oh, geez! She must have think that I don't know anything because I'm such a minority. Well too bad for you Ma'am because I ain't buying your insecurities and oh, you may have monies but you don't own the bank, especially me, so you've got no choice but to follow! . Have a good one guys!

God made my day.

Today God gave me this day. We woke up early and headed to Cale's work for my job interview and took the road test. I made several practices before I actually took it just so I would have a little confidence. Hubby made sure that I knew what I was doing before taking the tests and he was right, everything went good and passed it. Chuck (my instructor) advised me to go a little bit faster on my speed limit because I was going so slow. I told him that I was just scared to slide off the ice because the road was so slippery. And he said," Oh, you still have to go with the speed limit no matter what the weather is". What the heck, did he want to kill me? I ain't following you Mister 'coz I'm still young and I don't wanna die, go get your own speed limit. LOL.

After that, hubby drove me to my interview location and dropped me off there. The interview went so smoothly and I'm so excited to go back with Geneva Woods because people are jsut simply nice. It surely makes me feel at home.

So, I'd like to thank God for making these events possible today. Thank you so much!

Monday Come By

Hello guys! How's everything going? It's been a long time since I had my last post in here. We're just a little bit busy and I feel so lazy to do anything maybe because of my pregnancy? Plus my work is a little stressful so it just makes me feel so tired when I get home from work. I thanked God that everything's doing great lately, we've received so many blessings and we fervently thank God for all of that.

Well, hubby just got another job at the same flooring business and will be transferred to a branch in Anchorage. This one is a different company. He was so happy and very excited because it's his first time to manage a store, thing that he has been dreaming of. I do think he deserved it because he knows how to make a sale and he is very knowledgeable in flooring.

While, on the other hand, my baby and I are doing fine. This is my fourth month pregnancy and so far I'm feeling better compared to my first trimester. That was just so hard thought I would never threw up or feeling dizzy but it still feels strange and different. But I got it over now.

We haven't gone to the doctor yet and I'd like to wait for 6 months just so I can vividly see the physical description of my baby inside. Right now, he's just in a developing stage though the doctor can see its gender but I'd choose to wait. I am just so excited to see and meet my baby in person. This is the only thing on earth that I can certainly say, it is mine!

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
