This book is about 16 kids who have all had something bad happen to them like an evil monster or dummies or evil masks coming to life. They all had to defeat them. Everyone had had something bad done to them and then a little while later they would get a special invation to Horrorland. All the kids wanted to escape Horrorland but the only way to escape was through mirrors. 5 kids had already escaped into Panic Park. Soon after the 5 kids escaped into Panic Park, 2 kids found the other eleven and warned them not to go into Panic Park. The other kids thought that they worked for the Horrors, who were the people who worked at the park. The kids thought that the Horrors were bad. They thought that one Horror was good. That Horror was named Byron. Byron helped the kids escape into Panic Park. When the kids got there everything was in black and white. The kids soon found the other 5 kids. Then they were transported into a big castle. Everyone had something on their wrists. It was a fear meter. Then a man came into view. He was in black like everyone else in Panic Park. The man took off his hat and revealed another head on the back. He explained everything. The man made the kids go through things that would make them scream. It was terrifying for them! The kids made an escape through the mirrors and went back to Horrorland where they were safe. The kids said goodbye to each other and found their parents.

The Cupcake Diaries: Katie and the Cupcake Cure by Coco Simon is like Nancy Krulik's "How I Survived Middle School" series in a quite a few ways. So if you like "How I Survived Middle School" you'll probably like The Cupcake Diaries. Katie is starting middle school with her best friend Cassie Wilson. Katie and Cassie both went to different summer camps in the holidays and Cassie has been hanging out with Maggie and Sydney at camp. Then Maggie and Sydney invite Cassie and some other girls to form a group named 'The Popular Girls Club', and Katie's not allowed to join it. Sydney and Maggie are being mean to Katie, and her own best friend Cassie won't even stand up for her. Katie has to ride the bus alone because Cassie wants to walk with the P.G.C. Book Title: Unbroken

Author: Laura Hillenbrand
This book details the extraordinary life and experience of lieutenant Louie Zamperini, an Olympic distance runner who was preparing for the 1940 Olympics, and closing in on the fabled four-minute mile, when World War II began and the Olympics were cancelled. Louie becomes an Army Air Forces bomber and in 1943 the young lieutenant’s plane crashes into the Pacific Ocean during the height of WWII. Louie and one other person amazingly survive the crash and go on one of the most extraordinary journeys of World War II.

I liked this book because of the courage shown by Louie and the amazing life he has lead from boyhood rogue, to Olympic athlete and then finally to one of Japan's most brutal Prisoner Of War camps.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking to read a story about world history, it’s an amazing read that will stay with you for life. Unbroken is a story that is testament to the resilience of the human mind, body, and spirit.

Garland and Jetta read them a story each. Neville Jetta read aloud a story about the city called Last Tree in the City by Peter Carnavas a story about a boy who lives in the City without colour, a vast contrast to the students in the red dust community of Ali Curung. Colin Garland read a Dreamtime story titled Gadi Mirrabooka - Australian Aboriginal Tales from the Dreaming and shared with the students How the Birds Got Their Colours.

I really enjoyed this book, I think anybody can read it. I recommend this book for people from 9-15. This story was JUST magical!

This book is about a girl, who steals her sisters 'lucky' penny that has been in her family for generations, and hides it in a lilac hedge. While she is doing that, a small fairy, pinches her and when she goes back the next day, she finds that whoever has the lilac hedge mark is part of a prophercy.
