Thank you all so much for supporting our blog this year. Can you believe it? We’re up to our 8th year Blogoversary! Yay! Thanks again for all your love and support; we truly appreciate you taking the time each day to visit us.

We’ve been on break with our families, but we’ll return in late January 2019.

My Updated Review:

I had originally given this book a 2 Kiss Review, but after I read it, I went to The Home Edit’s Instagram (actually had to download it and open it – who knew having a Facebook account automatically makes you an Instagram account? Ugh – can’t believe I finally had to cave into getting into Instagram. I was trying to avoid it like I did with Periscope and Snap Chat.) Anyhoo, upon seeing The Home Edit’s Instagram account and seeing they have a TV series called Master the Mess – which I saw on YouTube, I upped the book’s rating to 3 Kisses. This book is definitely a book for their Super Fans – who are truly interested in their background story and are obsessed not only with their organization, but with the people themselves.

Since I had no clue who The Home Edit was and I was strictly looking for organization tips and advice - and let’s be honest Khloe Kardashian was the reason I looked into this company at all – the concept of the book and the quirkiness of the authors just fell flat to me when I read this book. It wasn’t until I saw the powerhouse duo on Master the Mess that everything seemed to make sense and I saw this book in a different light. I totally identify and can relate to Clea with my over the top OCD. She’s definitely my spirit animal. LOL

Still, the book fell a little short to me on organization tips, though it does make a nice coffee table book, and the pictures you can see (which aren’t irritatingly cut in half) are beautiful and relaxing to look at.

Original 2 Kiss Review:

This book was definitely not worth the sale price I spent at Target of $13.99 and I only paid this ridiculous price because I thought it came with pages and an array of stickers to get your label game on when the organization knowledge this book promised kicked in. Turns out it was just a one page with just a handful of stickers.

One thing I truly didn’t like about this book is that there is no valuable tips to engage with as far as telling us where to find the bins and baskets they feature. For the amount of information given in this book - or lack thereof, we’re better off looking at a YouTube video or Instagram account as we’re told to check out the sites they follow or stores they shop at at the end of the book - leaving us to do all the legwork and play the guessing game of trying to find the products they showcase in their pictures on the Internet. I wouldn’t have minded this book so much if I had only paid a used price of $1.99 instead of buying it new.

Also have to mention that I found it quite annoying that there were large paragraphs on every page. LOL That’s a first for me - I’m always saying the opposite wishing a story was longer. But in this case, the stars of the book are the pictures and organization tips. I didn’t buy it to read or hear about the backgrounds of the organizers or what house or space was their favorite, I wanted to see the organization pictures and get some ideas. It also didn’t help that most of the pictures were divided in half and you couldn’t possibly see the pictures well with the paperback edition unless you split the book in two. Plus they also give you no guidance on how to make your own stickers, where to buy them - ugh nothing.

Brett is covered in tattoos and happens to own a tattoo shop as well. Lizzie can't believe someone as hot as Brett is into her and her confidence level quickly boosts up as the couple heats things up in the bedroom and in public, too.

Pretty soon, Lizzie's exhibitions melt away and it's not long before the shy, demure girl is being replaced by a sex vixen into women, public sex, and threesomes!

So what about her career? Will she continue at her job, or will Brett's attentions finally make her realize there's something else more to life? And what of Brett? Is their relationship going somewhere, or is it just meaningless sex?

I didn't read the other installments, and I have to say I didn't feel lost as to what was going on.

Connor Black is a dom who was abused in his childhood and had a very tough life. He's very hesitant getting close to people and though he's super attracted to Bridget, a sub who frequents his club, he admires her from afar and doesn't get too close.

Connor runs a private investigations business, and Bridget asks him for help with her son. Her son is a secret she's been keeping since forever, but she finally tells Connor she had a son when she was a teenager and left him up for adoption. Though she still keeps in touch with the adoptive parents, it scares her to get a phone call from her son asking for her help.

Connor tells Bridget not to worry and that he'll get to the bottom of what's going on with her son. So begins a lurid tale of intrigue as it turns out the adoptive parents died in a questionable car crash and the person in charge of Bridget's son is his uncle whom everyone thinks is abusing the boy.

It's an all out race to find out what really happened with the adoptive parents and if Bridget's son is in any danger, but everything gets complicated when Bridget and Connor can't seem to keep their hands off each other. Can Connor get through his issues and finally get a happy ending?

I totally adored and loved this book! Amazing 10 stars!! And what happens to Lady Phillipa and Mary at the end??? OMG, Epic, awesome ending! :)

Anne is the illegitimate daughter of the Earl and has to play maid to the Earl's true wife, Lady Phillipa and daughter, Mary, so that there won't be any discord in the Earl's home.

Lady Phillipa is cruel though, and doesn't miss an opportunity to be unbearable to her husband's leman (mistress) and their illegitimate children - even though the Earl tells Phillipa he'll give up his leman and children if his wife agrees to give him a son. Phillipa refuses as she nearly died giving birth to Mary and won't ever go through the horror of another birth again.

So Phillipa tolerates her husband's leman and is the picture of tyranny until one day her husband marries his legitimate daughter, Mary, by proxy to his Scottish neighbor, Brodick McJames, pledging a great dowry as well.

Phillipa won't have this and refuses to let her spoiled daughter experience the horrors of child birth. So, instead of giving up her daughter, Mary, to a brute, she switches Mary with her husband's illegitimate daughter, Anne. She instructs Anne that she's to go to Scotland and be with Brodick and return when she's with child. If Anne should refuse, Phillipa threatens to put out all her family from her home and accuse them of stealing and placing them in jail.

Anne agrees and feels horrible that she living is a lie and pretending to be someone she’s not. Once she is with child, she's to return to her family and then Mary would switch places with her and go back to Scotland with the new babe in arms - thus avoiding giving birth.

Anne can't believe the far fetched scheme as she and Mary don't look anything alike, but she's forced into action by the devilish Phillipa who is taking advantage that her husband is out of town for an extended trip and she's in charge.

Anne tries her damnedest to keep her new husband - Brodick from consummating the marriage, but soon finds that she can't keep her eyes or hands off the gorgeous Scotsman. She doesn't make it through a week and soon is head over heels in lust with the Scot. But she feels terrible that she's lying to him and wonders what will be her fate when he finds out the truth, though she's too busy at the moment exploring every inch of him. But the truth will eventually come out.

My Review:

Ethan Slade is a Sergeant 1st Class with Task Force Scorpion (TSF) who is being sidelined with two weeks leave before he can go back out on missions. Ethan got bodyguard duty for Senator Cotter's daughter before, during, and after the wedding. The job should be easy right~wrong. Enter Kate Richards former CIA analyst.

Kate has to have everything in order or she gets anxious. Ethan becomes Kate's trainer but neither of them expected the flames of desire to be so high for the both of them. Will their desires override sense? How goes the bodyguarding job? Your answers await you in Rebellious River.

I've definitely been curious about Ethan since his introduction in the Men of Mercy Series. Ethan is a take charge kind of guy doesn't do well sitting still. Kate is a wicked strong female character which makes me really happy because I love a good strong female character. Ms. Cross has a winner with this series and thensome. Definitely looking forward to my next adventure with this author.

My Review:

Lily thought she was happy with her life, back in her old hometown to help her father after an accident, working, going to the gym and snuggling with her cats. Who´d ask for more? Then a chance encounter with a stranger turns her whole world upside down.

Ethan is back for a family celebration, not really wanting to, still feeling bad after his breakup, when a gorgeous woman reacts to his demands in a way he didn´t dare believe. What he never thought would go outside of the apartment grows and suddenly he wants everything and more. But can she give it to him?

The Apartment is filled with smutty fluff, feelings, and angst in an awesome combo. A warning, though, it ends in a cliffhanger, so you´ll want the next book ASAP, and there´s cheating involved. But it´s all worth it =) IMHO.

My Review:

I have to be 100% honest, the cover for this book is utterly stunning and it's the only thing that kept me reading.

In the third installment of the Wicked Worthingtons, we see Elektra's story. From afar, the story is whimsical sounding - Elektra is probably the only Worthington who cares about the state of the family - I mean what about Calliope? She married well in the first book, but doesn't even send over an apple to help our her family *smh* - and Elektra feels she must marry well to reinstate her family to their former glory.

To ensure this, she plans to kidnap the most eligible bachelor, put him in a compromising position and make him marry her. But her plans goes awry and it doesn't help matters that the Lord she kidnaps has been involved in a scandal that drove him from London and 10 years later he's finally back hoping to win his father's forgiveness and favor in his deathbed.

So, the story was so-so, but I found there was just too much concentrating on the Worthingtons and not too much on Elektra and her story. The 3 stars are merely for the cover not so much for the story.

So ends my travels with the Wicked Worthingtons. The next book cover is super dull and I find the Worthington family just gets on my nerves. The first one book in the series will forever be my favorite, though!

My Review:

Ceara is a rarity in medieval times, taking the helm of battle against the Normans after her father falls in battle. Successful in fending off a first attack against her home, she's not so lucky going against Luc Louvat, who ends up conquering more than her lands.

This read is mixed with a whole lot of history and political intrigue - which got a bit much in places, but the sprinkles of romance and Ceara's indomitable antics, along with her somewhat tamed wolf pet, made this a good read.

Anna can't remember who she is or how she got to be here. Who attacked Anna? Can Anna accept her circumstances? Will Anna remember who she is? Your answers await you in Michael's Soul Mate.

This second book lived up to the first one beautifully. The characters and story were complex, compelling, unique, down to earth, raw, and gritty ,too. Ms. Moone has created a fabulous world that is bold, rich, and clever, too. I look forward to my next adventure in this series.

My Spoiler Review:

The second installment of the Wicked Worthington series really missed the mark for me. I truly enjoyed the first book, but everything unraveled in the second book.

Cas and Pol are twins - though they are grown men they are irresponsible and only think about inventing -well absolutely nothing worthwhile. They run around the brothels and spend money like there's no tomorrow, never caring after the wellbeing of their family.

I'm not sure if the author meant to write this in an endearing way (if such a thing exists), but I found nothing endearing about this behavior whatsoever.

One day, the twins are making their usual mayhem when a beautiful widow is struck by Pol's handsomeness. She cant get Mr. Worthington off her mind, not knowing he's a twin. A complex, yet rather dull story ensues and an endless back and forth of should they - shouldn't they do it overcomes the story as it seems both men fall for her.

But just when I thought I was at least going to get a ménage book for all my troubles (nope! not even that), everything falls apart as they all can't figure out who should be with who. Add in a pesky clause that the widow shouldn't do anything scandalous that will damage or ruin her reputation or she'll lose her fortune and it's all one big mess I couldn't be bothered with.

In the end, I really didn't care who stayed with who as I couldn't believe how irresponsible these two brothers were.

SPOILERS!!!

I was floored the brothers got the widow to lose her fortune and then made her move in with their parents because they didn't even have a home of their own. *faints* I just couldn’t believe what I was reading. I could have totally done with skipping this installment.

I couldn't have picked a better final story than this one. I'm beyond breathless and speechless for how to write this review.

Watching this story bloom into what it's become is truly amazing. Ms. Winters really has the knack of storytelling in such a way that you don't always see the twists coming when they happen.

I highly encourage to read this series from the beginning to truly understand the beauty found in this story.

I equate this series much like Jamie McGuire's, Beautiful and The Maddox Brothers series for the growth and emotional rollercoaster you're taken on. I can't wait for my next adventure with this author.
