Review of The Wayfinder by Adam Johnson

When I first picked up The Wayfinder, it was with a sense of excitement mixed with trepidation. Adam Johnson, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Orphan Master’s Son, is known for his ability to weave intricate narratives filled with emotion and depth. As someone who has a profound appreciation for the rich tapestry of Polynesian culture and history, I was eager to see how Johnson would interpret these elements within the expansive scope of this epic tale. And while The Wayfinder certainly delivers a grand journey filled with action and drama, I found myself grappling with some familiar narratives in a beautifully constructed world.

The story revolves around Kōrero, a girl marked for destiny on her beleaguered Polynesian isle, preparing to confront the challenges of survival and power. Right off the bat, I felt an echo of Moana—yet as I delved deeper, I realized Johnson’s narrative is layered with complexity, diving into the intricacies of war, family, and cultural heritage. The novel alternates between two timelines—Kōrero’s adventure, expressed in a vivid first-person voice, and the political turmoil of Tonga, presented through an array of characters in the third person. Johnson’s ability to navigate these timelines is commendable, creating a rhythm that feels both natural and compelling. Some of the scenes struck deep emotional chords within me, especially a particularly heart-wrenching moment that had me in tears as the stakes rose to their peak.

Character-wise, it’s a veritable feast. We meet a plethora of perspectives—from the ailing king Tui to his ambitious sons, and even a talking parrot—creating a delightful yet occasionally dizzying family tree. I found myself hastily scribbling relationships and motivations (thank goodness for my trusty notebook!), a testament to the novel’s immersive realm, although I wish the promised map had been included to guide me through these waters.

However, despite its vibrancy, the narrative style felt a touch restrained. Johnson is undeniably skilled, but there were moments where I longed for a little more flair in his prose. The dual narratives often blended together in a way that dulled the sharp edges of the characters’ distinct voices. While the emphasis on economy in writing kept the pacing brisk, at times, it left the world feeling almost underseasoned, lacking in the lush descriptiveness I had anticipated.

Themes of story, words, and heritage echo throughout the text, beautifully articulated in the poignant quote about love for language: “For, if he doesn’t love our Tongan words, if he doesn’t see their beauty, he’ll learn our language as a slave learns to farm our fields…” This resonates deeply, as I, too, believe in the power of words to shape our identities and cultures.

Johnson’s thoughtful research brings authenticity, yet I sometimes felt it bled into the storytelling. Elements like "A Word About…" sections disrupted the narrative flow, and inconsistent handling of Tongan terms occasionally left me feeling distanced from the cultural richness I had hoped to immerse myself in. It was as if I wasn’t quite experiencing a native story, but rather one dressed up for a Western audience.

After traversing the 736 pages of The Wayfinder, I certainly felt I had embarked on a grand adventure. Yet, the overall reading experience left me wanting a little more depth and engagement with the world. I would recommend this historical epic to readers who enjoy adventurous fantasy with a large ensemble cast. If you appreciate tales where power struggles meet the intricacies of culture, The Wayfinder might just be a rewarding journey.

In conclusion, while Johnson’s novel may not fully transport one into the heart of Polynesian traditions, it does stir the spirit of exploration and resilience—qualities that resonate universally. As I closed the book, I couldn’t help but reflect on how stories, much like the flames Kōrero encounters, have the power to consume and transform us, even when they feel a touch familiar.

A Royal Christmas: A Whirlwind of Magic and Reality

What is it about the holiday season that makes a royal fairy tale feel just a little more enchanting? Perhaps it’s the twinkling lights, the scent of pine, and the promise of new beginnings. As soon as I stumbled upon A Royal Christmas by author (whose knack for creating heartwarming stories has always enchanted me), I was immediately intrigued. A direct descendant of royalty? A Christmas backdrop? Yes, please! Add in some family mystery and a handsome love interest, and I was sold. After spending a cozy afternoon surrounded by hot cocoa and holiday cheer, I’m excited to share my thoughts on this delightful novella.

The story follows Adelaide Smith, a determined law student whose life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers she is a descendant of King Maximillian V of Montovia. At first, her skepticism about the legitimacy of this claim is relatable; who wouldn’t feel like they’d been whisked from the mundane into a cheesy movie plot? This initial skepticism made Adelaide instantly likable to me—a strong and independent female lead who stands her ground, especially when faced with the intimidating Queen Ulrica, who makes her royal family tree seem more like an obstacle than a blessing.

The themes of family and self-discovery are woven intricately throughout the novella. As Adelaide grapples with her newfound heritage, she also confronts deep-seated grief regarding the loss of her parents. The juxtaposition of royal intrigues and the harsh realities of life grants the story a depth that I didn’t anticipate. Even as she navigates the opulence of the palace and a charming village, her inner struggles resonate long after the pages are turned.

While I appreciated the light-hearted, fun nature of the story, I did feel that certain parts dragged a bit and could have benefitted from deeper development—especially the ending, which felt slightly rushed. An epilogue would have been a perfect touch to wrap up loose ends and let readers bask in the warmth of a happily ever after!

I must admit the elements surrounding Krampus were a bit jarring for me. While I understand the narrative intended to emphasize the true meaning of Christmas amid the darker folkloric elements, it occasionally pulled me out of the enchanting romance. However, I appreciated the author’s intention in portraying a stark contrast with the joy and hope associated with the holiday.

Amid the youthful excitement and a sprinkle of romance (there’s more than one almost kiss!), what stood out was Adelaide’s fierce individuality. Her bravery in challenging outdated attitudes towards women and her determination to figure out her path despite royal expectations were truly empowering. I found it refreshing to see such a strong portrayal of a young woman taking control of her destiny, rather than becoming a mere pawn in the royal drama.

In conclusion, *A Royal Christmas is not the profound read that demands deep contemplation, but it is a charming escape—a delightful novella perfect for those cozy winter evenings. If you love stories about unexpected inheritances, charming villages, and a sprinkle of romance, then this book is for you! It served as a fun reminder that amidst the chaos of the holiday season, sometimes we need a bit of fairy tale magic to brighten our days.

For those interested in a light-hearted romp through royal family dramas and personal growth, I wholeheartedly recommend curling up with A Royal Christmas—just remember to keep the hot cocoa close; you might crave it after every enchanting chapter.

Happy reading, friends!

Review of The Christmas Table (Christmas Hope, #10) by Anne M. VanLiere

As the holiday season approaches, I find myself drawn to stories that encapsulate the warmth and joy of community, family, and, of course, delicious food. That’s precisely what piqued my interest in The Christmas Table, the tenth installment in Anne M. VanLiere’s beloved Christmas Hope series. It promised a heartwarming tale interwoven with memories—and perhaps some scrumptious recipes along the way. And let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed!

From the very first page, VanLiere immerses us in the rich tapestry of community life. The book deftly weaves the narratives of two couples, illuminating their intertwined journeys across two different years. As they navigate love, challenges, and the power of family bonds, the cooking and food-related themes shine brightly, reflecting the profound connections that meals can create. The gentle reminder that “they’re not just recipes; they are family stories and memories” resonated deeply. I could almost taste the comfort food through the pages, which was both delightful and slightly dangerous for my appetite!

The characters in The Christmas Table are the beating heart of the narrative. I found myself cheering for the sweet couple whose relationship only seems to flourish in the face of adversity, alongside the newlywed pair who are figuring out life and love together. VanLiere has an undeniable talent for delving into her characters’ minds, echoing the struggles and triumphs we all face. Nonetheless, I found myself yearning for a bit more depth in the prose. It felt at times as if VanLiere was spoon-feeding emotions rather than inviting us to dive deeper into the characters’ experiences. While I appreciate the clarity of her writing, the "show, don’t tell" ethos left me wanting more.

That said, the alternating timelines were executed beautifully, never leaving me feeling confused—a feat not easily achieved in dual narratives! I felt the weight of the characters’ joys and heartaches, yet it was in the moments that displayed their resilience that I found the most inspiration. As one character wrestles with the shadows of a loved one facing cancer, and another reflects on their complicated familial ties, it’s a poignant reminder of life’s complexities—how food acts as a binding agent amid such challenges.

Overall, The Christmas Table is an inviting read that’s perfect for anyone seeking a feel-good story brimming with community spirit and wholesome values. Despite my craving for a bit more depth in the writing, I must commend VanLiere for her captivating plots and compelling characters. This book serves as a gentle reminder of the beauty found in family, love, and those simple, shared meals that nourish our souls.

If you appreciate heartfelt narratives that offer both comfort and insight, I encourage you to pick up The Christmas Table. Just be prepared to have a snack ready—because trust me, you’ll be hungry for more than just the story!

Ciepło przygód i bohaterów

Review of The Incredible Kindness of Paper by Evelyn Skye

I have a soft spot for stories that capture the essence of human connection, so when I stumbled across The Incredible Kindness of Paper by Evelyn Skye, I knew I was in for a treat. The title itself hinted at something special, and the themes of kindness and community piqued my curiosity. I wasn’t disappointed! This book left me feeling genuinely happy, enveloped in a cozy blanket of love and warmth.

At its heart, this is a story about Chloe, a woman navigating the ups and downs of life in New York City. Following a painful layoff from her job as a school counselor, Chloe finds herself adrift. Depressed and anxious about the future, she turns to origami—a form of art that brings her solace. As she crafts yellow paper roses, she embarks on a mission of kindness, giving these delicate flowers away to random strangers. What begins as a personal coping mechanism transforms into a movement, providing hope and joy to those who receive her thoughtful messages tucked inside the blossoms.

Chloe’s journey intertwines beautifully with Oliver’s, a once-close friend who is now ensnared in the monotony of his job as a financial analyst. Oliver is burdened by responsibilities, feeling the weight of his family’s struggles on his shoulders. The contrast between his closed-off nature and Chloe’s openness is striking. As the story unfolds, we witness what happens when these two once inseparable friends are brought back together through acts of kindness and the whimsical spirit of Chloe’s roses.

Skye’s writing style is both engaging and lyrical, offering an easy flow that makes for a delightful reading experience. I found the pacing just right—a gentle build that allowed me to savor the nuances of both characters’ emotional journeys. There’s a palpable warmth that envelops each page, reminiscent of the charm found in some of my favorite Japanese and South Korean novels. It celebrates the unifying power of compassion, leading disparate individuals toward a common thread of hope and connection.

One of my favorite highlights from the book is the growing community formed around Chloe’s paper roses. It’s a testament to how even the simplest acts of kindness can create ripples, transforming lives and hearts. It struck me that in a world often overshadowed by negativity, this story serves as a reminder of the magic that exists in small gestures of love.

If you’re someone who finds joy in heartwarming narratives about community, connection, and the rediscovery of love, The Incredible Kindness of Paper is a must-read. Skye’s beautiful exploration of human emotions and relationships resonates on multiple levels, striking a chord especially for those seeking comfort and hope in their own lives. Personally, this book left me uplifted and inspired to embrace kindness in my own day-to-day life.

Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for providing the ARC in exchange for my honest review. I can’t wait to see how this story touches others, just as it did me.

Book Review: Mistletoe Season: Three Christmas Stories

As the holiday season approaches, my heart is always on the lookout for stories that encapsulate the warmth, joy, and sometimes chaos of Christmas. Enter Mistletoe Season: Three Christmas Stories, a delightful collection from three talented authors—Kathleen Fuller, Sheila Roberts, and Pepper Basham. The quaint gazebo on the cover beckoned to me, promising an escape into cozy romance, and I couldn’t resist diving into this festive read.

The anthology opens with Kathleen Fuller’s Return to Mistletoe, and let me tell you, it set the tone beautifully. The story oozes nostalgia with its themes of reunions and the sweetness of second chances. We meet Emmy, a mother with a vibrant personality and a charming antiques store. Her dynamics with her daughter were heartwarming, reminding me of the real-life connections that make the holidays special. Kieran, the best friend’s brother, brings an Irish flair that’s so swoon-worthy; it’s impossible not to smile when he utters “lass.” Fuller’s sharp humor and warm prose made the romance feel both genuine and entertaining, especially as friends and family conspire to bring these two together.

Next up is Sheila Roberts’ Say No to Mistletoe, which introduced me to the wonderfully relatable Hailey. A romance author with a knack for attracting chaotic situations—and the occasional high school crush—Hailey’s witty first-person narrative had me chuckling from the get-go. Her aversion to the mistletoe became a clever metaphor for her struggles in finding love, and despite her self-inflicted woes, the chemistry between her and Carwyn was palpable. Roberts balances humor with heart, leaving readers not only rooting for Hailey but also chuckling at her antics.

Finally, Pepper Basham wraps up the collection with The Mistletoe Prince, featuring a delightful mix of romcom chaos and royal charm. I adored the banter between Charlotte, affectionately known as Charlie, and Prince Arran. Their hilarious meet-cute quickly spirals into delightful chaos, showcasing Basham’s gift for crafting characters that leap off the page. I particularly appreciated the genuine camaraderie displayed in their quest for the Mistletoe Wish charity, highlighting themes of community and compassion. Basham’s characters feel real; they’re messy, relatable, and ultimately unforgettable.

Overall, Mistletoe Season is a fun and festive treasure that skillfully captures the essence of holiday romance. Each story feels fresh, distinct, and filled with unique voices—you won’t find any copy/paste here! It’s the ideal collection for readers looking to get into the holiday spirit, showcasing diverse characters and endearing narratives that could easily grace a Hallmark movie screen next Christmas. I now find myself eagerly wanting to explore more works by Sheila Roberts, whose style captivated me with lighthearted charm.

If you’re someone who revels in tales of second chances, witty banter, and the allure of Christmas magic, then Mistletoe Season is undoubtedly a book you should consider adding to your holiday reading list. From its nostalgic themes to heartwarming humor, this collection left me smiling and ready to embrace the joy of the season. Each page turned felt like an invitation into a world where love blossoms amidst the twinkling lights and frosty air, putting a sparkle in my heart that will last long after the decorations are put away.

A Christmas in the Alps: A Heartfelt Journey with a Touch of Holiday Magic

There’s something undeniably enchanting about a Christmas story that unfolds in a picturesque setting, especially when it involves scents of pine, the chill in the air, and hidden treasures. That’s exactly what pulled me to A Christmas in the Alps by Melody Carlson. Having previously devoured three of Carlson’s Christmas novels, I eagerly anticipated another cozy read. While this one didn’t quite capture my heart in the same way, it certainly offered moments of charm and warmth that ensnared my festive spirit.

The story follows Simone, who is grappling with the recent loss of her grandmother and unexpectedly finds a letter from her great-grandmother, also named Simone. The letter reveals a mysterious treasure left behind when her great-grandmother fled France, beckoning Simone to embark on a journey of self-discovery—and possibly a dash of romance. The premise is deliciously intriguing; who wouldn’t want to uncover a family secret during the holiday season?

The beginning of the adventure sparked my enthusiasm, especially during Simone’s flight to France. Meeting her seatmate, Kyle—a thoughtful and calm presence—was a highlight. Their interactions, filled with genuine concern as she navigates a panic attack, added layers to their characters that I appreciated. I did find their chemistry lacking, and when Simone learns their travel paths diverge, my heart sank alongside hers.

However, as Simone arrives in Avre, the small town of her heritage, the narrative started to ebb. While I adored the scenic descriptions and felt a sense of place in the author’s words, I longed for more dialogue. Simone’s struggles with the French language resulted in an unfortunate reliance on narration over engaging conversations. It felt like a missed opportunity to delve deeper into the cultural exchange that could have added richness to her character’s journey.

Enter Noel, the innkeeper’s son, who quickly became a favorite of mine. His willingness to help Simone navigate her somewhat mystifying new surroundings and the palpable affection he seems to harbor for her added a lovely dimension. I couldn’t help but root for him! If I had no knowledge of Kyle being the intended love interest, I might have wished for a romance to bloom between Simone and Noel instead.

While the pacing faltered in the middle, with Simone’s quest for the treasure feeling somewhat tedious, the enchanting descriptions of Paris reignited my interest. Carlson’s writing evokes the essence of a Christmas backdrop—twinkling lights, the vibrancy of French life, and the warm ambiance of holiday gatherings. I was left with a lingering sense of nostalgia and a reminder of the power of family bonds.

Despite its slower moments, A Christmas in the Alps remains a delightful read, perfect for cozying up with a cup of tea and a warm blanket. While it may not rank as my favorite among Carlson’s works, I still appreciated the sentiment and themes of self-discovery and the importance of connection. If you’re a fan of gentle romances wrapped in the festive spirit, this book might just warm your heart in the same way it did for me.

For those still looking for a charming escape into a world filled with holiday mystery, this novel will certainly keep you company as you count down the days to Christmas!

Review of SubZero Vol. 3: A Chill Worth Embracing

When I first stumbled upon "SubZero Vol. 3" by the talented and imaginative Christina Farley, I was instantly drawn in—not just by the stunning cover, but by the promise of a gripping continuation in a world steeped in mythology and suspense. Having devoured the previous volumes, I was eager to see how the threads of this captivating series would unfold, and I can genuinely say that this installment did not disappoint.

In "SubZero Vol. 3," we dive deeper into the icy realms of the fractured world Farley has crafted. The protagonist, Kyra, is a fierce warrior facing her most formidable adversary yet—her own fears and doubts. This volume carries significant themes of resilience and identity, prompting readers to reflect on how our past shapes us but does not define us. I found myself rooting for Kyra as she navigated treacherous paths, both literally and metaphorically. The struggles she endures resonate with anyone who’s ever faced overwhelming odds, and her journey becomes not just one of survival, but of personal awakening.

Farley’s writing is rhythmically beautiful, weaving poetic prose with action-packed sequences. The pacing is expertly balanced, allowing moments of reflection to punctuate the high-stakes tension. One particular scene that struck me was when Kyra confronts her fears in a snowstorm—her internal monologue was a raw depiction of vulnerability and strength that left me breathless, almost feeling the chill touching my own skin.

I particularly enjoyed the character dynamics that evolve in this volume. The relationships between Kyra and her allies deepen, revealing layers of vulnerability and connection that enrich the narrative. A quote that lingered with me is when Kyra reflects, “Sometimes the strongest bonds are forged in the coldest moments.” It encapsulates not only the essence of her journey but also the overarching theme of community and support during our toughest battles.

One of the standout elements in "SubZero Vol. 3" is how Farley challenges traditional notions of heroism. Unlike many narratives where the protagonist fights alone, Kyra’s strength lies in her connections—something that felt incredibly uplifting and relevant. This focus on unity over individualism is a refreshing perspective that should resonate with today’s readers.

For those who appreciate lyrical storytelling laced with mythology, character depth, and nail-biting tension, "SubZero Vol. 3" is a must-read. It will likely appeal to fans of fantasy and young adult literature, especially those who enjoyed the previous volumes. Personally, this book infused me with a renewed sense of courage and an appreciation for the bonds we forge through shared struggles.

In conclusion, Christina Farley’s latest installment is not just a bridge in a series; it’s a powerful testament to resilience and the beauty found in connection. As I closed the book, I felt a warmth amidst the icy turmoil—one that reminded me of the strength we can find in ourselves and each other, long after the last page is turned. I can’t wait to see where Kyra’s journey takes us next!

Book Review: Snowbound at Christmas: A Wind River Mail-Order Brides Anthology

There’s something undeniably magical about Christmas stories, especially those that transport you to cozy, snow-laden landscapes where heartwarming reunions and second chances abound. When I stumbled upon Snowbound at Christmas: A Wind River Mail-Order Brides, an anthology featuring love stories set against the picturesque backdrop of Wind River, I was instantly intrigued. The combination of holiday spirit, romance, and the promise of redemption had me eager to dive into this collection, especially knowing that it features novellas from talented authors like Wendy Galinetti, Wendy Klopfenstein, and Traci Summeril.

Heartfelt Themes and Relatable Characters

The anthology presents a trio of compelling stories, each anchored in the struggles of love and the yearning for connection—elements that many readers can relate to.

In “Heart’s Secret Haven” by Wendy Galinetti, we meet Lilly Murdock and Jakob Anderson, two old friends whose past hurts have made them wary of love. When a snowstorm strands them together, their journey towards healing begins. Galinetti beautifully captures the nuances of unrequited love and the importance of inviting grace into our lives—a theme that resonated deeply with me. I appreciated Lilly’s emotional struggle and the reminder that feelings of worthiness can sometimes be our greatest hurdle.

“Her Gingerbread Refuge” by Wendy Klopfenstein takes us into the heart of another snowstorm, where Jerome Barnett and Caroline Wilson grapple with life’s unexpected changes. Jerome’s chance encounter with Caroline as they seek shelter reveals the true spirit of Christmas and what it means to have dreams in a world that often feels out of control. Klopfenstein deftly explores the idea of self-fulfillment, reminding us that it’s okay to desire for ourselves while giving to others. This balance struck a chord with me—it’s so easy to forget our needs when we’re busy tending to those of our loved ones.

Lastly, “Her Yuletide Protector” by Traci Summeril introduces us to Lizzie Hamilton and Deputy Slate Jackson. Their unconventional meeting under dire circumstances adds layers of tension and intrigue as they navigate trust and vulnerability. Summeril’s message about the complexity of appearances and the importance of standing up for others was both poignant and inspiring. This novella captured the fight for personal identity in a world rife with judgment, reminding me of the power of compassion.

Writing Style and Memorable Quotes

Each author brings a unique voice to their story, but collectively, the writing is smooth and engaging, making it easy to immerse oneself in the wintery romance. The pacing felt just right, allowing for both character development and plot progression without feeling rushed. I found myself leaving highlighted passages throughout, with one quote by Klopfenstein standing out: "It’s hard when life forces change on us. We need our dreams more than ever then." It encapsulates the overarching theme of resilience throughout the anthology.

Conclusion: A Festive Must-Read

If you’re looking for the perfect holiday read that encapsulates warmth, second chances, and the magic of love, Snowbound at Christmas is a delightful pick. Ideal for fans of romance, this anthology not only entertains but also invites introspection about love, grief, and the hope that accompanies new beginnings. I walked away from this reading experience feeling uplifted and reminded of the importance of connection—especially during the holiday season. Grab a cozy blanket, a cup of hot cocoa, and lose yourself in these charming tales of love and redemption!

Christmas at Sugar Plum Manor by A. J. Thomas: A Heartwarming Tribute to the Spirit of the Season

As the first snowflakes of the season began to flutter outside my window, I couldn’t help but feel the magnetic pull of Christmas at Sugar Plum Manor by A. J. Thomas. The title alone evokes sugary dreams of Christmas magic, and, as I dived into its pages, I found exactly that—a delightful story that spirals you into the nostalgic embrace of holiday warmth and joy. It’s a book that seemed tailor-made for cozying up with a cup of hot cocoa, and I couldn’t resist it.

At the heart of this charming tale is Mariah Lyons, the stepdaughter of the Earl of Plumford. A spirited young woman who truly loves her home, Mariah faces the heart-wrenching reality that she cannot inherit Plumford Manor, which is destined for the distant relative, Cyril Lightbourne. Once childhood friends, Cyril and Mariah have drifted apart over the years, only to reconnect in this enchanting narrative filled with the spirit of Christmas. Their second chance is wonderfully underscored by themes of reconciliation and forgiveness, reminding us how precious it is to mend old ties.

Thomas’s writing flows like a delicate snowflake, capturing the essence of the season with both elegance and heart. The pacing is fittingly cozy—ideal for a holiday read—allowing you to bask in the richness of the characters’ emotions while keeping up with the gentle unfolding of the plot. One of my favorite highlights was when Mariah and Cyril unearth an old play they had created during their childhood. This simple act becomes a beautiful catalyst for their reunion. It resonates not only with nostalgia but ignites a community spirit, as they enlist the village children to perform and spread joy on Christmas Eve.

Each turn of the page offered picturesque scenes, from the festive decorations to delectable treats like sugarplums, and even subtle nods to the Nutcracker Suite. It wasn’t just about the visual delights but the feeling of community working together to create something magical that truly captured my heart. “Christmas is not merely a season; it’s a state of being,” one character muses, resonating deeply with my own beliefs about the holiday.

As I moved toward the conclusion, I appreciated how the story highlighted not just the beauty of the season but also its spiritual significance: the humble arrival of Christ and the love meant to dwell among His people. This poignant reflection is what I feel ties every thread of the narrative together, making it more than just a festive romp through a winter wonderland.

Christmas at Sugar Plum Manor is a book that will resonate with many—those who cherish holiday traditions, anyone seeking a tale of forgiveness, or even those longing for nostalgia and childhood innocence. It’s perfect for readers who enjoy a sprinkle of romance wrapped in festivity, and I assure you, it might just be the Christmas spirit’s balm you need this season.

As I closed the book, I felt a sense of warmth and hope, reminding me of the magic that Christmas can bring. So, if you’re searching for a read that dances joyfully through the holidays and speaks to the heart, look no further than A. J. Thomas’s enchanting tale. You’ll be thankful for the journey that leads you back to the true essence of this beautiful season.
