Revamping Again?

2012-03-13T13:57:00.000-04:00

Well hello there!

Ummmmm...... There should really be no excuse for not blogging this past month . For all this time Ive been reading educational books that are supposed "enlighten" my mind ( aka sleep deprivation in that sudden moment when I realize how in the world am I supposed to comprehend this???)

But alas, I have not been entirely idle.

Ive been debating this revamp for awhile now. I have some ideas about this "vamping":

1. I need to switch to wordpress.
2. Get to working back again on my stockpiled reviews
3. Work on my secret project again
4. I think I really want to change the name of this blog which correlates with idea # 1.

What do you think? Have any ideas or tips?

As of right now I am on hiatus but I will soon be starting up back again next week with upcoming Vampire Academy Review series of the books 1-6 . I have seriously fell in love with this series and everything about vampires which would explain all my vampire reads such as Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side I have also been reading.

My Current Projects
You remember my project baby I have been talking about? Well it finally has a name and deals with another obsession/addict I have. My friend and I are working on it together and it may seem slated for a summer release ( which is a total bummer ). I'm planning some videos for that project which will still be on schedule.

I have a couple of things to revamp on this blog and my youtube channel. Iv been thinking of doing more things on my youtube channel . I prefer to do reviews of books on my blog rather than my channel. I have some fun things in store that are book related to post on youtube

I'd Rather Be Reading

One of my favorite pastimes that I like to do is too look at fashion on polyvore for when I make the whole new wardrobe change if it ever happens. Ever since then I have been steadily building up my fashion book filled with outfits I would either love to wear or own and "I'd Rather Be Reading " is definitely something I would love to own and wear. Its gorgeously simple and natural looking . This outfit reminds me of something reminiscent of the early 1900s . As soon as you look at it you can already feel earthy tones and antiquity of this outfit. It makes me want to seriously curl up and read

The Book Blogger Dilemma

2012-01-09T10:00:00.000-05:00

I am currently on a book slump, an after effect of being on vacation in the oh so warm sun, I will be back on Jan 16th or so . I am currently in the works for a brand new youtube channel collaboration and we are just in the beginning phases. So this is what I have been focusing on for the past month or so and I can't wait till I show off my new project .

I am still so and so on my current channel weather I want to still continue it to supplement my blog or I should just get rid of it all together? I am still in a dilemma . I really want to focus mainly on my new channel but doing this, reading and reviewing , is my first love.

But then again I really want to branch out to other things as well. As well as life and school its gotten really hard to maintain everything in its rightful place so its been hectic. Sigh I know I have a book blogger dilemma.

So my question is how do you manage with life, work, and school to keep up?

Comment below on your tips and tricks to help me figure this out.

Hi everyone I'm back again for my once in a month joining of the most awesome Follow Friday Blog hop ever hosted by Parajunkee and Alison. Dont forget Ill be hopping all over the blogosphere!

When you've read a book, what do you do with it? (Keep it, give it away, donate it, sell it, swap it..?)

Hmm... I usually either keep it or lend it to as many friends as possible after I gush about it. Sometimes I swap with some of my best friends with something equally as good.

10 Things On My Christmas Wishlist

2011-12-16T14:00:00.001-05:00

Things On My Christmas Wishlist

So today we are listing the Top 10 things on my Christmas Wishlist. It was very hard to choose but I finally lowered it down to my top 10 .Whats on yours?

10.

I really love this off white cream book case. Especially since my room color theme is peach and white , it would look wonderful in my room. Plus I'm seriously running out of space with my books. Don't you think its cute?

9.

You're My Destiny/Fated to Love You Dvd Set
I loved watching this whole entire Asian series. It was wonderful and heartwarming.I am not the one to usually reread a book , re-watch a tv series, or redo anything unless its something that is really good. Let me tell you Fated to Love you is better than good, its great! (Sorry Tony the Tiger I stole your catchprhase :P)

8.

The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare
I all I have been hearing about is 5 out of 5 stars for this series. I really want to try it out especially with all the amazing reviews! If you are looking for adventure and something that develops over time then this would be the book for you.
P.S.-Plus the guy on this boxed set is hot.

7.

Pretty Little Liars Boxed Set

Have you ever watched Pretty Liars on Abcfamily? If you haven't where have you been this past year of 2011? This is one of my favorite shows of 2011 and suprise surprise ....I haven't read the series yet *gasps!*
I know....I Know....but for some reason I have been savoring the tv show more than the book because it provides longer entertainment but I will leave this discussion for later. Soon on the tv show we will know who "A" is......

6.

Pretty Little Liars Dvd Set
Haha I know I just mentioned the boxed set but when I tell you I love this show. I mean it.

5.

Nintendo 3ds Pink Nintendogs+Cats Bundle

I love anything nintendo. I love cute and furry animals. I love all things that are pink. So what do you get when add all these together? You get the nintendo 3ds nintendogs+ cats Bundle. Nintendo how did you know?

Cute Guinea Pig

I really want a pet that is warm and breathing ( sorry my fishies!) and guinea pig or a bunny would be great. Its not something I decided at the last minute or anything I've been thinking about for the past year or so. At first I really wanted a rabbit but due to my area but I couldnt due to some restraints. Guinea pigs are the next best things arent they?

Korean Kimchi

Yes I put kimchi here. I Love to watch Asian dramas especially Korean dramas and they have lots of kimchi, I wish I knew how to make it or I could get someone to make it for me.

I found a wonderful resturaunt nearby that has it and I can't wait to go there!

White Ipod Touch 4g
Now this and # 1 are at a tie. I really need to update in the ipod department. Its white and has light and nice feel to it. Plus you can watch youtube videos and play games, and even video chat!

1.

Does this really need any explanation? Its a tablet/ereader and its absolutely amazing! Plus it has flash so you can watch and do things online unlike the ipod touch 4g that does not have Adobe flash ( oh why Apple? :()
It would be perfect for school, work, and my entertainment needs

Deadly Little Secret Review

2011-11-10T08:00:00.000-05:00

Amazon | Goodreads| Barnes&Noble| Review

If you like the Twilight or the Pretty Little Liars series then I defintely recommend this book.

Let me just say here that I am not really a fan of mystery books but Deadly Little Secrets might have just changed my mind.
The book starts off with a almost deadly encounter. Camelia is saved by the weirdo emo looking guy. Who she claims touches her stomach tenderly. It reminds me of a scene thats in Twilight. Sometimes I really wonder what is up with the trends of our heroine these days....always choosing the bad boy that is misunderstood. As you all may very well know she falls heads over heels for Ben. Ben has killer looks and as the town knows it has killer instincts.

As I was reading. It seemed to emit the usual mystery/suspense criteria. Scary coincidences happening. murder, secret crushes and the like. There are some hilarious conversations that had me chuckling to myself and there was some parts that had me flipping the pages and my heart beating.

The thing is I could never imagine how it would possibly end. Expect the Unexpected I always say.

The Deadly Little Secrets truly surprised me. Its a good book with a hint of something more. I rate this book 3 and half stars.

If you want to read a little teaser of the book you can check it out here

Teaser Tuesday: November 8

Book Preview: Confessions of A PK

2011-11-02T05:05:00.000-04:00

Title: Addison Blakely: Confessions of A PK

Author: Bestsy St.Amant

Publisher: Cedar Fort

Release Date: 1/1/2012

I seriously liked this book. Addison is the daughter of a pastor( also known as a PK aka Pastor Kid) . She has set rules and is an example of Christan faith. She is a top A student with stellar academics and right minded attitude to prove it. She is the “perfect” Christan girl.

At the age of 16 she has no boyfriend, constantly reads books, and is only allowed to have one “pop” a day. She also is addicted to mocha and sprinkles, lots of sprinkles. She has been under the thump of expectations from her father and the church she literally does not what to think. All her ideas and thoughts are something that Addi should say rather than what she thinks. At the age of sweet 16 you start to learn of something, something called “thinking for yourself”.

Her life seems to start to shatter as she goes through the year. She is dating the town’s bad boy Wes, leather wearing, motorcycling, best person to make out with who also has awesome tattoos and does not go to church guy. The exact opposite guy she should be dating especially her love stuck friend Luke ( who is a total romantic). She loses her best friend Claire because she told when she bailed out on a science project, somehow got volunteered for fundraiser and not to mention her dad the PASTOR is dating her new and yet fashionable English teacher!

What is a girl going to do? Especially when she feels as if her prayers to God are not getting past her bedrooms Walls?

I loved this book and I loved how the author describes her characters. I just wanted to add it may not be everyone's cup of tea , but I think everyone should try this book at least once!
